1Singularity Analysis of a 3-RPS Parallel Manipulator Using Geometric Algebra显示文摘Singular configurations must be avoided in path planning and control of a parallel manipulator. However, most studies rarely focus on an overall singularity loci distribution of lower-mobility parallel mechanisms. Geometric algebra is employed in analysis of singularity of a 3-RPS parallel manipulator. Twist and wrench in screw theory are represented in geometric algebra. Linear dependency of twists and wrenches are described by outer product in geometric algebra. Reciprocity between twists and constraint wrenches are reflected by duality. To compute the positions of the three spherical joints of the 3-RPS parallel manipulator, Tilt-and-Torsion angles are used to describe the orientation of the moving platform. The outer product of twists and constraint wrenches is used as an index for closeness to singularity(ICS) of the 3-RPS parallel manipulator. 2Danshen protects endothelial progenitor cells from oxidized low-density lipoprotein induced impairment显示文摘In this study,we examined the protective effects of Danshen both on endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) in patients with hypercholesterolemia and on in-vitro EPCs of healthy volunteers.In the clinical study,we randomly divided 24 subjects with hypercholesterolemia into two groups(the control group and the Danshen-treated group).At the end of two weeks of treatment,the EPC cellular functions of both groups were tested.The results indicated that,compared to the control group,EPCs in the Danshen-treated group showed significantly better cellular functions,which was manifested in the cloning number,the proliferation capacity,the number of EPC adhesions,and cell migration.In the subsequent in-vitro experiments,EPCs were treated with vehicle,oxidized low-density lipoprotein(Ox-LDL,100 μg/ml),or Ox-LDL(100 μg/ml) plus different concentrations of Danshen(Danshensu 2,10,or 50 μg/ml,respectively) for 24 h.The results showed that Danshen treatments can prevent the detrimental effects of Ox-LDL on EPC cellular functions measured by proliferation capacity(0.24±0.08,0.37±0.11,0.30±0.04 vs.0.13±0.02,P<0.05,P<0.01,and P<0.01,respectively),and adhesion ability(63.00±11.60,70.00±10.80,85.50±11.41 vs.40.50±6.85,all P<0.01).Compared to the group treated with Ox-LDL alone,Danshen treatment significantly decreased the lipid peroxidation end product malondialdehyde(MDA) [(4.34±0.54),(3.98±0.47),(3.46±0.31) vs.(5.57±0.64) nmol/ml,all P<0.01],increased the production of superoxide dismutase(SOD) [(29.74±0.71),(31.09±0.83),(30.41±0.65) vs.(14.76±3.99) U/ml,all P<0.01],and lowered the expression of interleukin-6(IL-6) [(24.62±7.69),(27.04±3.14),(33.38±18.86) vs.(230.67±33.53) pg/ml,all P<0.01] and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) [(41.72±6.10),(17.02±6.82),(3.73±2.26) vs.(228.71±41.53) pg/ml,all P<0.01] in Ox-LDL treated EPCs.These results suggest that Danshen may exert a protective effect through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory features.Kang-ting JI Jun-de CHAI Cheng XING Jin-liang NAN Peng-lin YANG Ji-fei TANG 2010Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2010,11,8:9
3Geochemical Anomaly at the Devonian/Carboniferous Boundary, Huangmao, Gnangxi, China显示文摘The abundances of nearly 40 elements, Ir included, have been measured using radio-chemical and instrumental neutron activation analysis (RNAA and INAA) across a Devonian/Carboniferous (D/C) boundary section at Huangmao, Guangxi, China. The Ir anomaly has been found in the D/C boundary bed. Its peak value is 156 ppt, richer by a factor of 12 than that in the underlying strata. Besides, as with Ir, other siderophile and chalcophile elements such as Au. Ni. Co. As and Sb are also enriched. The cause for the abundance anomalies of Ir and other elemets is discussed. Neither volcanic eruption nor extraterrestrial impact can explain it satisfactorily. 4Enhanced mechanical property and tunable dielectric property of SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites by CVI combined with PIP显示文摘The SiBCN matrix via chemical vapor infiltration(CVI)or/and polymer infiltration pyrolysis(PIP)technologies was orderly introduced to SiC_(f)/SiC composites to optimize the mechanical property and electromagnetic(EM)shielding effectiveness simultaneously.The BN interface with the thickness of 350 nm was designed to obtain a little stronger interface bonding.The flexural strength of SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites reached 545.45±29.59 MPa thanks to the crack deflection between the CVI SiC and CVI SiBCN,as well as CVI SiBCN and PIP SiBCN matrix because of the modulus difference between them.The fracture toughness(KiC)with the value of 16.02±0.94 MPa·m^(1/2) was obtained owing to the extension of crack propagation path.The adverse effect of stronger interface bonding was eliminated by the design of matrix microstructure for SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites.The thermal conductivity in the thickness direction was 7.64 W·(m·K)^(-1) at 1200℃and the electric resistivity decreased to 1.53×10^(3) Ω·m.The tunable dielectric property was obtained with the coordination of wave-absorption CVI SiBCN matrix and impedance matching PIP SiBCN matrix,and the total shielding effectiveness(SE_(T))attained 30.01 dB.It indicates that the SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites have great potential to be applied as structural and functional materials.Chaokun SONG Yongsheng LIU Fang YE Laifei CHENG Pengfei ZHANG Nan CHAI 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4:4
5Ultra-light, high flexible and efficient CNTs/Ti3C2-sodium alginate foam for electromagnetic absorption application显示文摘Ultra-light carboxylic functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs-COOH) and Ti3C2 MXene hybrids modified sodium alginate(CNTs/Ti3C2-SA) based composite foams were prepared through ice-templated freeze-drying method. The microstructure of the synthesized CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids and CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foams is characterized by the presence of CNTs inserted between MXene layers which prevents their restacking. The resultant CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids exhibit a unique sandwich-like hierarchical structure. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images show that the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam exhibits a heterogeneous anisotropic microstructure and CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids are homogeneously dispersed in the skeleton of the porous foam. In case that the content of the hybrids amounts 40 mg/cm^3, the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam possesses excellent electromagnetic(EM) absorption performance with a minimum reflection coefficient(RCmin) as low as-40.0 dB. In case of a sample thickness of 3.95 mm, the RCminreaches-24.4 dB and the effective absorption bandwidth covers the whole X band from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz. 10Structural variation and parallel evolution of apomixis in citrus during domestication and diversification显示文摘Apomixis,or asexual seed formation,is prevalent in Citrinae via a mechanism termed nucellar or adventitious embryony.Here,multiple embryos of a maternal genotype form directly from nucellar cells in the ovule and can outcompete the developing zygotic embryo as they utilize the sexually derived endosperm for growth.Whilst nucellar embryony enables the propagation of clonal plants of maternal genetic constitution,it is also a barrier to effective breeding through hybridization.To address the genetics and evolution of apomixis in Citrinae,a chromosome-level genome of the Hongkong kumquat(Fortunella hindsii)was assembled following a genome-wide variation map including structural variants(SVs)based on 234 Citrinae accessions.This map revealed that hybrid citrus cultivars shelter genome-wide deleterious mutations and SVs into heterozygous states free from recessive selection,which may explain the capability of nucellar embryony in most cultivars during Citrinae diversification.Analyses revealed that parallel evolution may explain the repeated origin of apomixis in different genera of Citrinae.Within Fortunella,we found that apomixis of some varieties originated via introgression.In apomictic Fortunella,the locus associated with apomixis contains the FhRWP gene,encoding an RWP-RK domain-containing protein previously shown to be required for nucellar embryogenesis in Citrus.We found the heterozygous SV in the FhRWP and CitRWP promoters from apomictic Citrus and Fortunella,due to either two or three miniature inverted transposon element(MITE)insertions.A transcription factor,FhARID,encoding an AT-rich interaction domain-containing protein binds to the MITEs in the promoter of apomictic varieties,which facilitates induction of nucellar embryogenesis.This study provides evolutionary genomic and molecular insights into apomixis in Citrinae and has potential ramifications for citrus breeding.Nan Wang Xietian Song Junli Ye Siqi Zhang Zhen Cao Chenqiao Zhu Jianbing Hu Yin Zhou Yue Huang Shuo Cao Zhongjie Liu Xiaomeng Wu Lijun Chai Wenwu Guo Qiang Xu Brandon S.Gaut Anna M.G.Koltunow Yongfeng Zhou Xiuxin Deng 2022National Science Review2022,9,10:1
