| 1 | Synthesis and characterization of NaYF4:Yb3+,Er3+@silica-N=folic acid nanocomplex for bioimaginable detecting MCF-7 breast cancer cells显示文摘Upconversion nanophosphors are new promising nanomaterials to be used as biolabels for detection and imaging of cancer cells.These nanophosphors absorb long-wavelength excitation radiation in the infrared or near infrared region and emit shorter wavelength,higher energy radiation from ultraviolet to infrared.In this paper,we studied the hydrothermal method and optical properties of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+for biomedical application.After synthesis,these NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+nanophosphors were functionalized with aminosilanes and folic acid.Folic acid binds to the folate receptor on the surface of MCF-7 breast cancer cells and this binding promotes internalization of the nanophosphors via endocytosis.The sizes of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA(folic acid)nanophosphors can be controlled with length of the rod about 300-800 nm and diameter of the rod about 100-200 nm.Phase structure of NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+is in hexagonal crystal system.The photo luminescence(PL)spectra of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA nanophosphors were measured.These nanophosphors emit in red color with the strongest band at 650 nm under 980 nm excitation.This result can provide NaYF4:Er^3+,Yb^3+@silica-N=FA complex for developing fluorescence label and image tool in cancer biology and medicine. | Ha Thi Phuong Tran Thu Huong Le Thi Vinh Hoang Thi Khuyen Do Thi Thao Nguyen Thanh Huong Pham Thi Lien Le Quoc Minh | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,11: | 5 |

| 15 | Dry eye rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary hypertension:a cross-sectional study in Vietnam显示文摘AIM:To determine the dry eye(DE)rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary hypertension.METHODS:A cross-sectional study included 432 patients with primary hypertension(with an equal number of patients in each group:144 in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ hypertension)and 144 healthy subjects as a control group.The Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)and Schirmer Ⅰ test without anesthetics were conducted on all 576 subjects.Subjects with OSDI scores<13 and Schirmer Ⅰ values equal to or under 10 mm were diagnosed with DE.RESULTS:The ratio of DE in hypertension patients was higher than in the control group(41.7%versus 18.8%;P<0.001).The proportion of patients with DE increased gradually according to the hypertension stage:27.1% in stage Ⅰ,40.3% in stage Ⅱ,and 57.6% in stage Ⅲ,P<0.001.Age,duration of hypertension,plasma urea,creatinine,and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP-hs)levels in hypertension patients with DE were higher than those without DE,P<0.001.Advanced age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma creatinine,and CRP-hs levels were independent factors associated with DE in primary hypertension patients,P<0.001.CONCLUSION:DE is a common disorder associated with advanced age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma CRP-hs,and creatinine levels in patients with primary hypertension. | Tran Tat Thang Pham Hong Phuong Nguyen Sa Huynh Nguyen Trung Kien NguyenDuy Toan Nguyen Thi Thu Ha Le Ha Khoa Nguyen Huu Dung Thai Doan Thang Le Viet Thang | 2024 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2024,17,4: | 0 |

| 17 | Determination of the Administration Routes,Doses and Appropriate Age to Vaccinate With Ornitin Triple Vaccine For Cross-breed Colored Broilers in Vietnam显示文摘The study was to determine the appropriate dose and administration route of Ornitin Triple vaccine in cross-breed coloured broilers in Vietnam by evaluating the antibody titer against Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale(ORT)and local reactions at injection sites on chickens after vaccination.The study was divided into 2 trials.Both trials were designed with 3 vaccine dose groups:0.0ml(control group),0.25ml and 0.5ml and 2 different administration routes:subcutaneous at neck(SC)and intramuscular at breast(IM)injection.The result showed that,no statistically significant difference was found between antibody titer of two administration routes as well as 2 vaccine doses until 13-week-old.Local reactions at the injection sites of IM route was less severe than SC at neck and in higher dose would produce a more severe swelling reaction.Daily weight gain was found to have a slight decrease in the vaccinated groups within 2 weeks after vaccination,however,no statistically significant difference was found in later stage(P>0.05).In conclusion,Ornitin Triple can be used to vaccinate by IM with the dose of 0.25ml for coloured broilers at early age(3-week-old),or 0.5ml for older birds and should be careful for some reactions at the injection sites. | Nguyen Manh Ho Bui Ngoc Xuan Ha Le Thi Kim Tuyen Le Thi Anh Thu Le Thanh Hien Quach Tuyet Anh | 2019 | Veterinary Science Research2019,1,2: | 0 |
| 18 | Development and Application of a Distributed Conceptual Hydrological Model to Simulate Runoff in the Be River Basin and the Water Transfer Capacity to the Saigon River Basin,Vietnam显示文摘A distributed conceptual model(FRASC(Flow Routed Accumulation Simulation in a Catchment))has been developed,in which a rainfall-runoff module is modified from an original lumped conceptual model(Xinanjiang)via a GIS(Geographic Information System)-aided approach and a water allocation module contains reservoirs,water users and hydropower plants.The model is relatively easy to use and can easily obtain input data,but still has the ability to generate hydrological information at many points within a catchment.The model application to the Be River basin is evaluated and shows to be reliable in terms of close agreements between simulated and observed series.Daily natural flow rates for 36 years are simulated at 7,981 grid cells within a studied area of 7,650 km^2.Based on this simulated database,design discharges are predicted in various probabilities.Finally,the research determines that the water transfer capacity from the Be River basin to the Saigon River basin reaches 14%,18% and 23% of a planned value of 75 m^3/s during the dry period in a wet year(P10%),average year(P50%)and dry year(P90%),respectively. | Vu Van Nghi Ha Bui Nguyen Lam Tai Pham Anh Can Thu Van | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering(A)2020,9,1: | 0 |
