1Diagnostic and therapeutic single-operator cholangiopancreatoscopy in biliopancreatic diseases:Prospective multicenter study in Japan显示文摘AIM: To assess the utility and safety of single-operator cholangiopancreatoscopy(SOCPS) using the Spy Glass system in widespread clinical application for biliary and pancreatic diseases.METHODS: This study was a prospective case series conducted in 20 referral centers in Japan. There were 148 patients who underwent SOCPS; 124 for biliary diseases and 24 for pancreatic diseases. The attempted interventions were SOCPS examination, SOCPS-directed tissue sampling, and therapy for stone removal, among others. The main outcomes were related to the procedure success rate in terms of visualizing the target lesions, SOCPS-directed adequate tissue sampling, and complete stone removal. RESULTS: A total of 148 patients were enrolled for the diagnosis of indeterminate biliary and pancreatic lesions or treatment of biliary and pancreatic disease. The overall procedure success rate of visualizing the target lesions was 91.2%(135/148). The overall procedural success rates of visualizing the target lesions of diagnostic SOCPS in the bile duct and pancreatic duct were 95.5%(84/89) and 88.2%(15/17), respectively. Diagnosis: the overall adequate tissue for histologic examination was secured in 81.4% of the 86 patients who underwent biopsy under SOCPS(bile duct, 60/75, 80.0%; pancreatic duct, 10/11, 90.9%). The accuracy of histologic diagnosis using SOCPS-directed biopsies in indeterminate bile duct lesions was 70.7%(53/75). In the pancreatic duct, the accuracy of SOCPS visual impression of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm was 87.5%(14/16). Stone therapy: complete biliary and pancreatic stone clearance combined with SOCPS-directed stone therapy using electrohydraulic lithotripsy or laser lithotripsy was achieved in 74.2%(23/31) and 42.9%(3/7) of the patients, respectively. Others: SOCPS using the Spy Glass system was used in cannulation of the cystic duct in two patients and for passing across the obstructed self-expandable metallic stent for a malignant biliary stricture in two patients. All procedures were successful in both SOCPS-guided therapies. The incidence of procedure-related adverse events was 5.4%(8/148). 2Hydrogen Adsorption by Woodceramics Produced from Biomass显示文摘Hydrogen adsorption characteristics of woodceramics,made from radiata pine wood fiber boards carbonized at 1 473 K after impregnation with phenolic resin,with and without chemical treatment in an alkaline(KOH) or an acid(H 2 SO 4) solution were investigated The hydrogen adsorption capacity is improved by chemical treatment.The chemical treatment by KOH improves the adsorption capacity more than by H 2 SO 4.The improvement of the capacity level,in any solution,is dependent on the type of chemical in the solution and its concentration.The maximum hydrogen capacity measured at 93 K is mass fraction about w(H) = 2% for the woodceramics after chemical treatment in a volume fraction = 50% KOH solution,although that is about w(H) = 0.7% for one without chemical treatment.The microscopic condition of pores in the woodceramics is thought to vary after chemical treatment.TAKASAKI Akito IIJIMA Suguru YAMANE Tomoka OKABE Toshio 2012Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong university(Science)2012,17,3:4

10The development of cell-adhesive hydrogel for 3D printing显示文摘Biofabrication has gained tremendous attention for manufacturing functional organs or tissues.To fabricate functional organs or tissues,it is necessary to reproduce tissue-specific micro to macro structures.Previously,we developed a custom-made 3D-bioprinter with the capability to print and fabricate 3D complicated hydrogel structures composed of living cells.Through the gelation reaction,fine and complicated 3D gel structures can be fabricated via layer by layer printing.Alginate hydrogel has been used mainly due to its good fabricating properties.However,it is not a reliable platform for tissue regeneration because of its inadequate cell-adhesiveness.Therefore,our laboratory is interested to explore more suitable hydrogels for bioprinting and 3D tissue fabrication.In this study,we tried to fabricate 3D gel structures with enough cell-adhesive properties.We focused on hydrogel formation through enzymatic reaction by incorporating materials bearing phenolic hydroxyl moieties and horseradish peroxidase.We examined Alg-Ph and Alg-Ph/Gelatin-Ph gels.We used a mixed solution of applied materials as bioink and printed into H2O2 solution.We successfully fabricated the 3D gel sheet structures including fibroblasts cultures.Fibroblast proliferation and viability were also observed in the 3D gel sheet for more than one week.In conclusion,the hydrogel obtained through enzymatic reaction is a biocompatible bioink material which can be applied to fabricate 3D cell-adhesive gel structures using a 3D-bioprinter.Kenichi Arai Yoshinari Tsukamoto Hirotoshi Yoshida Hidetoshi Sanae Tanveer Ahmad Mir Shinji Sakai Toshiko Yoshida Motonori Okabe Toshio Nikaido Masahito Taya Makoto Nakamura 2016International Journal of Bioprinting2016,2,2:0
