| 1 | A Review on Representative Swarm Intelligence Algorithms for Solving Optimization Problems:Applications and Trends显示文摘Swarm intelligence algorithms are a subset of the artificial intelligence(AI)field,which is increasing popularity in resolving different optimization problems and has been widely utilized in various applications.In the past decades,numerous swarm intelligence algorithms have been developed,including ant colony optimization(ACO),particle swarm optimization(PSO),artificial fish swarm(AFS),bacterial foraging optimization(BFO),and artificial bee colony(ABC).This review tries to review the most representative swarm intelligence algorithms in chronological order by highlighting the functions and strengths from 127 research literatures.It provides an overview of the various swarm intelligence algorithms and their advanced developments,and briefly provides the description of their successful applications in optimization problems of engineering fields.Finally,opinions and perspectives on the trends and prospects in this relatively new research domain are represented to support future developments. | Jun Tang Gang Liu Qingtao Pan | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,10: | 18 |
| 2 | Benzene alkylation with methanol over phosphate modified hierarchical porous ZSM-5 with tailored acidity显示文摘The acidity and acid distribution of hierarchical porous ZSM-5 were tailored via phosphate modification. The catalytic results showed that both benzene conversion and selectivity of toluene and xylene increased with the presence of appropriate amount of phosphorus. Meanwhile, side reactions such as methanol to olefins related with the formation of by-product ethylbenzene formation and isomerization of xylene to meta-xylene were suppressed efficiently. | 6 | Ensemble of Population-Based Metaheuristic Algorithms显示文摘No optimization algorithm can obtain satisfactory results in all optimization tasks.Thus,it is an effective way to deal with the problem by an ensemble ofmultiple algorithms.This paper proposes an ensemble of population-based metaheuristics(EPM)to solve single-objective optimization problems.The design of the EPM framework includes three stages:the initial stage,the update stage,and the final stage.The framework applies the transformation of the real and virtual population to balance the problem of exploration and exploitation at the population level and uses an elite strategy to communicate among virtual populations.The experiment tested two benchmark function sets with fivemetaheuristic algorithms and four ensemble algorithms.The ensemble algorithms are generally superior to the original algorithms by Friedman’s average ranking andWilcoxon signed ranking test results,demonstrating the ensemble framework’s effect.By solving the iterative curves of different test functions,we can see that the ensemble algorithms have faster iterative optimization speed and better optimization results.The ensemble algorithms cannot fall into local optimumby virtual populations distribution map of several stages.The ensemble framework performs well from the effects of solving two practical engineering problems.Some results of ensemble algorithms are superior to those of metaheuristic algorithms not included in the ensemble framework,further demonstrating the ensemble method’s potential and superiority. | Hao Li Jun Tang Qingtao Pan Jianjun Zhan Songyang Lao | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,76,9: | 0 |
| 7 | Review on artificial intelligence techniques for improving representative air traffic management capability显示文摘The use of artificial intelligence(AI)has increased since the middle of the 20th century,as evidenced by its applications to a wide range of engineering and science problems.Air traffic management(ATM)is becoming increasingly automated and autonomous,making it lucrative for AI applications.This paper presents a systematic review of studies that employ AI techniques for improving ATM capability.A brief account of the history,structure,and advantages of these methods is provided,followed by the description of their applications to several representative ATM tasks,such as air traffic services(ATS),airspace management(AM),air traffic flow management(ATFM),and flight operations(FO).The major contribution of the current review is the professional survey of the AI application to ATM alongside with the description of their specific advantages:(i)these methods provide alternative approaches to conventional physical modeling techniques,(ii)these methods do not require knowing relevant internal system parameters,(iii)these methods are computationally more efficient,and(iv)these methods offer compact solutions to multivariable problems.In addition,this review offers a fresh outlook on future research.One is providing a clear rationale for the model type and structure selection for a given ATM mission.Another is to understand what makes a specific architecture or algorithm effective for a given ATM mission.These are among the most important issues that will continue to attract the attention of the AI research community and ATM work teams in the future. | TANG Jun LIU Gang PAN Qingtao | 2022 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,5: | 0 |
| 8 | Optical and Electrical Properties of Hydrogenated Silicon Oxide Thin Films Deposited by PECVD显示文摘In this work, n-type amorphous silicon oxide thin films were deposited by RF-PECVD method using a gas mixture of SiH4, CO2, H2, and PH3. The deposition rate, refractive index, band gap, crystalline volume fraction, and conductivity of the silicon oxide thin films were determined and analyzed.
