| 1 | Effect of electroacupuncture on expression of Ang/Tie-2 mRNA and protein in rats with acute cerebral infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To identify the intervention mechanism of the effect of electroacupuncture on the expression of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein in rats with acute cerebral infarction induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).METHODS: Altogether 120 Wistar rats were subjected to MCAO by inserting a nylon filament, andthen divided into 3 groups: control group, injured group and electroacupuncture group. The injured and electroacupuncture groups were further divided into the following 7 subgroups according to the time after MCAO: 3, 6, 12, 24 h, 3, 7 and 12 d, with 8 rats in each subgroup. The electroacupuncture group was given electroacupuncture treatment at Shuigou(GV 26) instantly after operation. The rats were killed at different time points according to their groups, and then the expression levels of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein were detected using Real-Time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical staining.RESULTS: The m RNA and protein expression levels of Ang/Tie-2 in the electroacupuncture group were significant higher than that in the injured group.CONCLUSION: The results suggested that electroacupuncture could significantly regulate the expression of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein in the rats with acute cerebral infarction induced by MCAO, and enhance angiogenesis after ischemic penumbra. | Li Jing Bai Zonglu Du Yuanhao Li Yongfeng Zhang Xuezhu Pang Bo Zhang Jingjing | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,5: | 17 |
| 2 | Bioreducible unimolecular micelles based on amphiphilic multiarm hyperbranched copolymers for triggered drug release显示文摘A novel type of bioreducible amphiphilic multiarm hyperbranched copolymer (H40-star-PLA-SS-PEG) based on Boltorn H40 core,poly(L-lactide) (PLA) inner-shell,and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) outer-shell with disulfide-linkages between the hydrophobic and hydrophilic moieties was developed as unimolecular micelles for controlled drug release triggered by reduction.The obtained H40-star-PLA-SS-PEG was characterized in detail by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR),Fourier transform infrared (FTIR),gel permeation chromatography (GPC),differential scanning calorimeter (DSC),and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS) analyses suggested that H40-star-PLA-SS-PEG formed stable unimolecular micelles in aqueous solution with an average diameter of 19 nm.Interestingly,these micelles aggregated into large particles rapidly in response to 10 mM dithiothreitol (DTT),most likely due to shedding of the hydrophilic PEG outer-shell through reductive cleavage of the disulfide bonds.As a hydrophobic anticancer model drug,doxorubicin (DOX) was encapsulated into these reductive unimolecular micelles.In vitro release studies revealed that under the reduction-stimulus,the detachment of PEG outer-shell in DOX-loaded micelles resulted in a rapid drug release.Flow cytometry and confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) measurements indicated that these DOX-loaded micelles were easily internalized by living cells.Methyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay demonstrated a markedly enhanced drug efficacy of DOX-loaded H40-star-PLA-SS-PEG micelles as compared to free DOX.All of these results show that these bioreducible unimolecular micelles are promising carriers for the triggered intracellular delivery of hydrophobic anticancer drugs. | PANG Yan 1,LIU JinYao 1,SU Yue 1,ZHU BangShang 2,HUANG Wei 1,ZHOU YongFeng 1,ZHU XinYuan 1,2 & YAN DeYue 1 1 School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,State Key Laboratory of Metal Matrix Composites,Shanghai Jiao Tong University,Shanghai 200240,China 2 Instrumental Analysis Center,Shanghai Jiao Tong University,Shanghai 200240,China | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,12: | 3 |

| 7 | Immunomodulating Activities of Polysaccharides from ZhuQin Formula and Atractylodes in Hypoimmune Mice显示文摘[Objectives] To investigate the infrared identification of ZhuQin Formula and Atractylodes polysaccharides and its effect on immune function in immunocompromised mice. [Methods] In this experiment,the structure of polysaccharides was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The experiment was divided into the polysaccharide groups of high,medium and low dose of ZhuQin,the extraction group of ZhuQin,the polysaccharide group of Atractylodes,the positive drug group,the blank group and the model group. The model of immunosuppressed mice was established by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide. The carbon clearance index,immune organ index,serum hemolysin,spleen T and B lymphocyte transformation rate were determined. [Results]The results show that the polysaccharides have obvious absorption peaks of polysaccharides; Formula extracts and polysaccharides can enhance the immune function of immunosuppressive mice at a certain dose level,and the effect of formula polysaccharide is better than that of extract and single traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides. [Conclusions] The results suggest that the polysaccharides of ZhuQin Formula and Atractylodes may be acidic polysaccharides containing pyran ring and furan ring. | 9 | Shape memory alloy-based 3D morphologically reconfigurable chiral metamaterial for tailoring circular dichroism by voltage control显示文摘Three-dimensional chiral materials with intrinsic chirality play a crucial role in achieving a strong chiral response and flexible light manipulation.Reconfigurable chirality through the 3D morphological transformation of chiral materials is significant for greater freedom in tailoring light but remains a challenge.Inspired by the unique 3D morphological memory capability of shape memory alloys(SMAs),we demonstrate and discuss a chiral resonator in the microwave regime that can realize reconfigurable chirality through 3D morphological transformation.The introduction of heating film realizes voltage control of SMA’s morphology for utilizing the temperature sensitivity of SMA better,enabling arbitrary control of circular dichroism(CD)flip and CD intensity.The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the surface current distribution of chiral enantiomers reveals that the chirality of metaatoms originates from the surge of electric dipole pxand electric quadrupole Q.It is worth mentioning that the proposed strategy to achieve reconfigurable chirality using 3D morphological transformations can be directly extended to other higher frequencies,such as visible,infrared,and terahertz bands.Significantly,our paradigm to study the relationship between complex 3D morphology and chirality holds potential for application in biosensing,spin detection,and spin-selective devices. | LIXIN JIANG QI YUAN HAO YANG YONGFENG LI LIN ZHENG ZHIBIAO ZHU SHUANG LIANG YONGQIANG PANG HE WANG JIAFU WANG SHAOBO QU | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,3: | 0 |
| 10 | Switchable chiral mirror based on PIN diodes显示文摘Chiral mirrors can produce spin selective absorption for left-handed circularly polarized(LCP) or right-handed circularly polarized(RCP) waves. However, the previously proposed chiral mirror only absorbs the designated circularly polarized(CP) wave in the microwave frequency band, lacking versatility in practical applications.Here, we propose a switchable chiral mirror based on a pair of PIN diodes. The switchable chiral mirror has four working states, switching from the handedness-preserving mirror to the LCP mirror, RCP mirror, and perfect absorber. The basis of these advances is to change the chirality of two-dimensional(2D) chiral metamaterials and the circular conversion dichroism related to it, which is the first report in the microwave frequency band.Surface current distributions shed light on how switchable chiral mirrors work by handedness-selective excitation of reflective and absorbing electric dipole modes. Energy loss distributions verify the working mechanism. The thickness of the switchable chiral mirror is one-tenth of the working wavelength, which is suitable for integrated manufacturing. | 11 | One-Pot Synthesis of Supertough,Sustainable Polyester Thermoplastic Elastomers Using Block-Like,Gradient Copolymer as Soft Midblock显示文摘It remains challenging to synthesize supertough thermoplastic elastomers(TPEs)since the stretchability and tensile strength are mutually exclusive.Here,we report a one-pot strategy for the preparation of sustainable,triblock polyester TPEs consisting of poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)hard segments and poly(ɛ-caprolactone)-co-poly(δ-valerolactone)(PCVL)soft segments.The TPEs were synthesized successfully with high stretchability(up to 2100%)and strong tensile strength(up to 71.5 MPa)without requiring specific functionalized groups by simply adjusting the polymer microstructures,which,in turn,exhibited a world’s record toughness of 445 MJ/m^(3).Systematic investigation revealed that the block-like,gradient microstructure of PCVL improved the ductility by providing a flexible elastic network and enhancing the tensile strength through strain-induced crystallization.The practicability of this strategy was well demonstrated by lifting a water tank over 30,000 times heavier than itself and easy scale-up experiments. | Wuchao Zhao Chengkai Li Xiao Yang Jianghua He Xuan Pang Yuetao Zhang Yongfeng Men Xuesi Chen | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,4: | 0 |
