| 1 | Transmission routes of 2019-nCoV and controlsin dental practice显示文摘A novel β-coronavirus(2019-nCoV) caused severe and even fatal pneumonia explored in a seafood market of Wuhan city, Hubei province, China, and rapidly spread to other provinces of China and other countries. The 2019-nCoV was different from SARS-Co V,but shared the same host receptor the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2). The natural host of 2019-nCoV may be the bat Rhinolophus affinis as 2019-nCoV showed 96.2% of whole-genome identity to Bat Co V Ra TG13. The person-to-person transmission routes of 2019-nCoV included direct transmission, such as cough, sneeze, droplet inhalation transmission, and contact transmission, such as the contact with oral, nasal, and eye mucous membranes. 2019-nCoV can also be transmitted through the saliva, and the fecal–oral routes may also be a potential person-to-person transmission route. The participants in dental practice expose to tremendous risk of 2019-nCoV infection due to the face-to-face communication and the exposure to saliva, blood, and other body fluids, and the handling of sharp instruments. Dental professionals play great roles in preventing the transmission of2019-nCoV. | 3 | Ethylene Emission as a Potential Indicator of Fuji Apple Flavor Quality Evaluation Under Low Temperature显示文摘Fuji apple(Malus×domestica Borkh.)is a popular fruit cultivar and occupies an important position in the fruit market due to its excellent flavor and storage quality.Ethylene emission can induce respiration,which would reduce postharvest quality and increase storage losses.In order to maintain fruit quality and extend shelf life,apples are usually stored in a low-temperature environment after harvest to reduce the formation of ethylene.Volatile aroma components are regarded as one of the most important aspects of flavor quality and a key factor for apple quality grading and customer satisfaction.Ethylene emission and its relationship with volatile aromas during low temperature,however,have not been determined.In this study,the dynamic changes of volatile aroma compounds of Fuji apples stored at 4°C were detected and analyzed for 42 days.The variation of ethylene released from Fuji apple was studied correspondingly.The results showed that ethyl butyrate,ethyl caproate,ethyl 2-methylbutyrate and 2-methylbutyl acetate were the main aroma components of Fuji apple.The change in ethylene emission and the normalized peak area of volatile aroma compounds exhibited a similar tendency that increased significantly from the 3rd day to the peak on the 14th day and then decreased;there was a positive linear correlation between them with a correlation coefficient of 0.79(P<0.05).Therefore,ethylene release can be used as a potential indicator for evaluation of volatile aroma compounds in apples.Using ethylene emission as an indicator could reduce the difficulty and complexity of volatile aroma evaluation,which could be a new non-destructive inspection choice for apple flavor quality assessment. | Weiyan Qi Haijing Wang Zhen Zhou Peng Yang Wenbin Wu Zhemin Li Xian Li | 2020 | Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,4: | 18 |
| 4 | Effects of warming and clipping on plant and soil properties of an alpine meadow in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘Climate warming and livestock grazing are known to have great influences on alpine ecosystems like those of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP) in China. However, it is lacking of studies on the effects of warming and grazing on plant and soil properties in these alpine ecosystems. In this study, we reported the related research from manipulative experiment in 2010–2012 in the QTP. The aim of this study was to investigate the individual and combined effects of warming and clipping on plant and soil properties in the alpine meadow ecosystem. Infrared radiators were used to simulate climate warming starting in July 2010, while clipping was performed once in October 2011 to simulate the local livestock grazing. The experiment was designed as a randomized block consisting of five replications and four treatments: control(CK), warming(W), clipping(C) and warming+clipping combination(WC). The plant and soil properties were investigated in the growing season of the alpine meadow in 2012. The results showed that W and WC treatments significantly decreased relative humidity at 20-cm height above ground as well as significantly increases air temperature at the same height, surface temperature, and soil temperature at the depth of 0–30 cm. However, the C treatment did not significantly decrease soil moisture and soil temperature at the depth of 0–60 cm. Relative to CK, vegetation height and species number increased significantly in W and WC treatment, respectively, while vegetation aboveground biomass decreased significantly in C treatment in the early growing season. However, vegetation cover, species diversity, belowground biomass and soil properties at the depth of 0–30 cm did not differ significantly in W, C and WC treatments. Soil moisture increased at the depth of 40–100 cm in W and WC treatments, while belowground biomass, soil activated carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen increased in the 30–50 cm soil layer in W, C and WC treatments. Although the initial responses of plant and soil properties to experimental warming and clipping were slow and weak, the drought induced by the downward shift of soil moisture in the upper soil layers may induce plant belowground biomass to transfer to the deeper soil layers. This movement would modify the distributions of soil activated carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen. | 5 | Fengyun Meteorological Satellite Products for Earth System Science Applications显示文摘Following the progress of satellite data assimilation in the 1990s, the combination of meteorological satellites and numerical models has changed the way scientists understand the earth. With the evolution of numerical weather prediction models and earth system models, meteorological satellites will play a more important role in earth sciences in the future. As part of the space-based infrastructure, the Fengyun (FY) meteorological satellites have contributed to earth science sustainability studies through an open data policy and stable data quality since the first launch of the FY-1A satellite in 1988. The capability of earth system monitoring was greatly enhanced after the second-generation polar orbiting FY-3 satellites and geostationary orbiting FY-4 satellites were developed. Meanwhile, the quality of the products generated from the FY-3 and FY-4 satellites is comparable to the well-known MODIS products. FY satellite data has been utilized broadly in weather forecasting, climate and climate change investigations, environmental disaster monitoring, etc. This article reviews the instruments mounted on the FY satellites. Sensor-dependent level 1 products (radiance data) and inversion algorithm-dependent level 2 products (geophysical parameters) are introduced. As an example, some typical geophysical parameters, such as wildfires, lightning, vegetation indices, aerosol products, soil moisture, and precipitation estimation have been demonstrated and validated by in-situ observations and other well-known satellite products. To help users access the FY products, a set of data sharing systems has been developed and operated. | 6 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 7 | Recent Progress of Fengyun Meteorology Satellites显示文摘After nearly 50 years of development, Fengyun(FY) satellite ushered in its best moment. China has become one of the three countries or units in the world(China, USA, and EU) that maintain both polar orbit and geostationary orbit satellites operationally. Up to now, there are 17 Fengyun(FY) satellites that have been launched successfully since 1988. There are two FY polar orbital satellites and four FY geostationary orbit satellites operate in the space to provide a huge amount of the earth observation data to the user communities. The FY satellite data has been applied not only in the meteorological but also in agriculture,hydraulic engineering, environmental, education, scientific research and other fields. More recently, three meteorological satellites have been launched within the past two years. They are FY-4 A on 11 December2016, FY-3 D on 15 November 2017 and FY-2 H on 5 June 2018. This paper introduces the current status of FY meteorological satellites and data service. | 8 | Oral microbiota in human systematic diseases显示文摘Oral bacteria directly affect the disease status of dental caries and periodontal diseases. The dynamic oral microbiota cooperates with the host to reflect the information and status of immunity and metabolism through two-way communication along the oral cavity and the systemic organs. The oral cavity is one of the most important interaction windows between the human body and the environment.The microenvironment at different sites in the oral cavity has different microbial compositions and is regulated by complex signaling,hosts, and external environmental factors. These processes may affect or reflect human health because certain health states seem to be related to the composition of oral bacteria, and the destruction of the microbial community is related to systemic diseases. In this review, we discussed emerging and exciting evidence of complex and important connections between the oral microbes and multiple human systemic diseases, and the possible contribution of the oral microorganisms to systemic diseases. This review aims to enhance the interest to oral microbes on the whole human body, and also improve clinician’s understanding of the role of oral microbes in systemic diseases. | 9 | The Oral Microbiome Bank of China显示文摘The human microbiome project(HMP) promoted further understanding of human oral microbes. However, research on the human oral microbiota has not made as much progress as research on the gut microbiota. Currently, the causal relationship between the oral microbiota and oral diseases remains unclear, and little is known about the link between the oral microbiota and human systemic diseases. To further understand the contribution of the oral microbiota in oral diseases and systemic diseases, a Human Oral Microbiome Database(HOMD) was established in the US. The HOMD includes 619 taxa in 13 phyla, and most of the microorganisms are from American populations. Due to individual differences in the microbiome, the HOMD does not reflect the Chinese oral microbial status. Herein, we established a new oral microbiome database—the Oral Microbiome Bank of China(OMBC,http://gffzz1f92d53390b34408hfqxxcbo0cvc660kb.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ombc). Currently, the OMBC includes information on 289 bacterial strains and 720 clinical samples from the Chinese population, along with lab and clinical information. | 11 | Oral bacteria colonize and compete with gut microbiota in gnotobiotic mice显示文摘The oral microbiota is associated with oral diseases and digestive systemic diseases.Nevertheless,the causal relationship between them has not been completely elucidated,and colonisation of the gut by oral bacteria is not clear due to the limitations of existing research models.The aim of this study was to develop a human oral microbiota-associated (HOMA) mouse model and to investigate the ecological invasion into the gut.By transplanting human saliva into germ-free (GF) mice,a HOMA mouse model was first constructed.16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to reveal the biogeography of oral bacteria along the cephalocaudal axis of the digestive tract.In the HOMA mice,84.78% of the detected genus-level taxa were specific to the donor.Principal component analysis (PCA) revealed that the donor oral microbiota clustered with those of the HOMA mice and were distinct from those of specific pathogen-free (SPF) mice.In HOMA mice,OTU counts decreased from the stomach and small intestine to the distal gut.The distal gut was dominated by Streptococcus,Veillonella,Haemophilus,Fusobacterium,Trichococcus and Actinomyces.HOMA mice and human microbiota-associated (HMA) mice along with the GF mice were then cohoused.Microbial communities of cohoused mice clustered together and were significantly separated from those of HOMA mice and HMA mice.The Source Tracker analysis and network analysis revealed more significant ecological invasion from oral bacteria in the small intestines,compared to the distal gut,of cohoused mice.In conclusion,a HOMA mouse model was successfully established.By overcoming the physical and microbial barrier,oral bacteria colonised the gut and profiled the gut microbiota,especially in the small intestine. | Bolei Li Yang Ge Lei Cheng Benhua Zeng Jinzhao Yu Xian Peng Jianhua Zhao Wenxia Li Biao Ren Mingyun Li Hong Wei Xuedong Zhou | 2019 | International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,3: | 7 |

| 13 | Grid-cell Aerosol Direct Shortwave Radiative Forcing Calculated Using the SBDART Model with MODIS and AERONET Observations:An Application in Winter and Summer in Eastern China显示文摘Taking winter and summer in eastern China as an example application, a grid-cell method of aerosol direct radiative forcing(ADRF) calculation is examined using the Santa Barbara DISORT Atmospheric Radiative Transfer(SBDART) model with inputs from MODIS and AERONET observations and reanalysis data. Results show that there are significant seasonal and regional differences in climatological mean aerosol optical parameters and ADRF. Higher aerosol optical depth(AOD)occurs in summer and two prominent high aerosol loading centers are observed. Higher single scattering albedo(SSA) in summer is likely associated with the weak absorbing secondary aerosols. SSA is higher in North China during summer but higher in South China during winter. Aerosols induce negative forcing at the top of the atmosphere(TOA) and surface during both winter and summer, which may be responsible for the decrease in temperature and the increase in relative humidity.Values of ADRF at the surface are four times stronger than those at the TOA. Both AOD and ADRF present strong interannual variations; however, their amplitudes are larger in summer. Moreover, patterns and trends of ADRF do not always correspond well to those of AOD. Differences in the spatial distributions of ADRF between strong and weak monsoon years are captured effectively. | 14 | Impact of rock type on the pore structures and physical properties within a tight sandstone reservoir in the Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘The pore-throat systems and physical properties of tight sandstone reservoirs are complex,and deposition is thought to be a fundamental control for them.In this study,the impacts of the full ranges of rock types(from pebbly coarse sandstone to fine sandstone) on the pore structures and physical properties of the Permian tight sandstone reservoir in the eastern Ordos Basin were investigated comprehensively through a series of experiments including conventional physical testing,thin-section analysis,scanning electron microscopy,nuclear magnetic resonance analysis and high-pressure mercury injection tests.The results showed that the coarser-grained sandstones tend to have higher feldspar content and lower percentage of cements,leading to strong dissolution,weak cementation and improved porosity and permeability.The medium sandstone has the highest level of quartz and the lowest average content of feldspar,resulting in strong heterogeneity of physical properties.Only those medium sandstone reservoirs with relatively high content of feldspars have better physical properties.Additionally,the coarser-grained sandstones contain relatively large dissolution pores(nearly 200 μm),whereas the finer-grained sandstones have more intercrystalline pores with a relatively more homogeneous pore structure.The pebbly coarse sandstone and coarse sandstone reservoirs are favorable targets with best physical properties. | Xiang-Dong Yin Shu Jiang Shi-Jia Chen Peng Wu Wei Gao Ji-Xian Gao Xian Shi | 2020 | Petroleum Science2020,17,4: | 6 |
| 15 | Autophagy Attenuates MnCl2-induced Apoptosis in Human Bronchial Epithelial Cells显示文摘Objective To investigate the role of autophagy in MnC l2-induced apoptosis in human bronchial epithelial 16 HBE cells.Methods Cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay.Mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP) and apoptosis were measured by flow cytometry.Autophagic vacuoles were detected by fluorescence microscopy.Cellular levels of apoptosis and autophagy-related proteins were measured by western blotting.Results 16 HBE cell proliferation was inhibited by Mn Cl2 in a dose-and time-dependent manner.Mn Cl2-induced 16 HBE cell growth inhibition was related to MMP depolarization prior to the induction of apoptosis.Our data revealed that Mn Cl2-induced apoptosis in 16 HBE cells was mediated by decreased expression of Bcl-2 and increased levels of cleaved caspase-3.It was observed that when we exposed 16 HBE cells to MnCl_2 in a dose-dependent manner,the formation of autophagic vacuoles and the levels of LC-3B-II were elevated.RNA interference of LC3 B in these Mn Cl2-exposed cells demonstrated that MMP loss and apoptosis were enhanced.Additionally,the pan-caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK increased the cellular levels of Bcl-2 and decreased apoptosis,but did not affect the cellular levels of LC3 B in Mn Cl2-treated 16 HBE cells.Conclusion Mn Cl2 dose-and time-dependently inhibits 16 HBE cell proliferation and induces MMP loss and apoptosis.Autophagy acts in a protective role against Mn Cl2-induced apoptosis in 16 HBE cells. | YUAN Zhun YING Xian Ping ZHONG Wei Jian TIAN Shi Min WANG Yu JIA Yong Rui CHEN Wen FU Juan Ling ZHAO Peng ZHOU Zong Can | 2016 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2016,29,7: | 5 |

| 17 | Research on Android Malware Detection and Interception Based on Behavior Monitoring显示文摘Focusing on the sensitive behaviors of malware, such as privacy stealing and money costing, this paper proposes a new method to monitor software behaviors and detect malicious applications on Android platform. According to the theory and implementation of Android Binder interprocess communication mechanism, a prototype system that integrates behavior monitoring and intercepting, malware detection, and identification is built in this work. There are 50 different kinds of samples used in the experiment of malware detection, including 40 normal samples and 10 malicious samples. | 19 | Maxingxiongting mixture attenuates hypoxia pulmonary arterial hypertension to improve right ventricular hypertrophy by inhibiting the rho-kinase signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the mechanism of Maxingxiongting mixture(MXXTM)on pulmonary hypertension in a rat model established by intraperitoneal injection of monocrotaline solution,smoking and forced swimming.METHODS:A total of 30 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups:control group,model group,high-dose of MXXTM group(HM),low-dose of MXXTM group(LM),and fasudil group.The mean pulmonary artery pressure(m PAP)was measured by using a miniature catheter.Lung tissue and right ventricular tissue sections were stained with hematoxylin-eosin.The right ventricle(RV)and left ventricle+septum(LV+S)were weighted.RV/(LV+S)was calculated to reflect the degree of right ventricular hypertrophy.Rho/Rho-kinase signaling pathway key proteins(Rho A,ROCKⅠand ROCKⅡ)in rat right ventricular tissue were measured by Western blot analysis.The levels of serum hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and the levels of plasma renin activity(PRA),angiotensinⅡ(ANG-Ⅱ),aldosterone(ALD)in rat anticoagulated plasma were all measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Compared with the control group,the m PAP and RV/(LV+S)in the model group were significantly increased.Administration of fasudil resulted in a significant decrease of m PAP and RV/(LV+S).In the HM group and LM group,m PAP and RV/(LV+S)were significantly lower than the model group.Compared with the control group,the contents of HIF-1α,VEGF,PRA,ANG-Ⅱand ALD in the model group were significantly increased.The administration of fasudil and high-dose MXXTM significantly reduced the contents of HIF-1α,VEGF,PRA,ANG-II and ALD.Compared with the control group,the expression of Rho A,ROCKⅠand ROCKⅡin the right ventricle of the model group were significantly increased.The administration of fasudil and high-dose MXXTM significantly reduced the expression of Rho A and RockⅡproteins.Our results indicated that high-dose of MXXTM had similar effects on reducing pulmonary artery pressure and improving right ventricular remodeling to fasudil.However,MXXTM was unable to restore parameters above to control levels.CONCLUSIONS:MXXTM attenuates hypoxia pulmonary arterial hypertension to improve right ventricular hypertrophy by inhibiting the Rho-kinase signaling pathway. | An Xing Li Songtao Weng Xiangwen Wang Xian Wu Hao Zhang Xinyue Gao Jian Yang Renxu Peng Bo | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 4 |
