| 3 | Photostable and Biocompatible Fluorescent Silicon Nanoparticles for Imaging-Guided Co-Delivery of siRNA and Doxorubicin to Drug-Resistant Cancer Cells显示文摘The development of effective and safe vehicles to deliver small interfering RNA(siRNA) and chemotherapeutics remains a major challenge in RNA interference-based combination therapy with chemotherapeutics,which has emerged as a powerful platform to treat drug-resistant cancer cells.Herein,we describe the development of novel all-in-one fluorescent silicon nanoparticles(SiNPs)-based nanomedicine platform for imaging-guided co-delivery of siRNA and doxorubicin(DOX).This approach enhanced therapeutic efficacy in multidrug-resistant breast cancer cells(i.e.,MCF-7/ADR cells).Typically,the SiNP-based nanocarriers enhanced the stability of siRNA in a biological environment(i.e.,medium or RNase A) and imparted the responsive release behavior of siRNA,resulting in approximately 80% down-regulation of P-glycoprotein expression.Co-delivery of P-glycoprotein siRNA and DOX led to>35-fold decrease in the half maximal inhibitory concentration of DOX in comparison with free DOX,indicating the pronounced therapeutic efficiency of the resultant nanocomposites for drug-resistant breast cancer cells.The intracellular time-dependent release behaviors of siRNA and DOX were revealed through tracking the strong and stable fluorescence of SiNPs.These data provide valuable information for designing effective RNA interference-based co-delivery carriers. | Daoxia Guo Xiaoyuan Ji Fei Peng Yiling Zhong Binbin Chu Yuanyuan Su Yao He | 2019 | Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2: | 5 |

| 6 | One-step ball milling-prepared nano Fe2O3 and nitrogendoped graphene with high oxygen reduction activity and its application in microbial fuel cells显示文摘Developing high activity,low-cost and long durability catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction is of great significance for the practical application of microbial fuel cells.The ftill exposure of active sites in catalysts can enhance catalytic activity dramatically.Here,novel Fe-N-doped graphene is successftilly synthesized via a one-step in situ ball milling method.Pristine graphite,ball milling graphene,N-doped graphene and Fe-N-doped graphene are applied in air cathodes,and enhanced performance is observed in microbial fuel cells with graphene-based catalysts.Particularly,Fe-Ndoped graphene achieves the highest oxygen reduction reaction activity,with a maximum power density of 1380±20 mW/m^2 in microbial fUel cells and a current density of 23.8 A/m^2 at-0.16 V in electrochemical tests,which are comparable to commercial Pt and 390%and 640%of those of pristine graphite.An investigation of the material characteristics reveals that the superior performance of Fe-Ndoped graphene results from the full exposure of Fe2O3 nanoparticles,pyrrolic N,pyridinic N and excellent Fe-N-G active sites on the graphene matrix.This work not only suggests the strategy of maximally exposing active sites to optimize the potential of catalysts but also provides promising catalysts for the use of microbial fuel cells in sustainable energy generation. | Xingguo Guo Qiuying Wang Ting Xu Kajia Wei Mengxi Yin Peng Liang Xia Huang Xiaoyuan Zhang | 2020 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,2: | 3 |

| 8 | Phylogenetic Analysis of the Dengue Virus Strains Causing the 2019 Dengue Fever Outbreak in Hainan,China显示文摘Dengue virus is an arthropod-borne pathogen that is transmitted to humans primarily by Aedes spp.mosquitos,causing the acute infectious disease,dengue fever(DF).Until 2019,no dengue outbreak had been reported in Hainan Province for over 20 years.However,in early September of 2019,an increasing number of infected cases appeared and the DF outbreak lasted for over one month in Haikou City,Hainan Province.In our study,we collected 97 plasma samples from DF patients at three hospitals,as well as 1585 mosquito larvae samples from puddles in different areas of Haikou.There were 49(50.5%)plasma samples found to be strongly positive and 9(9.3%)plasma samples were weakly positive against the NS1 antigen.We discovered DENV both in the patient's plasma samples and mosquito larvae samples,and isolated the virus from C6/36 cells inoculated with the acute phase serum of patients.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the new strains were the most closely related to the epidemic strain in the southern regions of China,belonging to lineageⅣ,genotypeⅠ,DENV-1.Compared to the seven closest strains from neighboring countries and provinces,a total of 18 amino acid mutations occurred in the coding sequences(CDS)of the new isolated strain,DENV1 HMU-HKU-2.Our data shows that dengue virus is re-emerged in Hainan,and pose new threats for public health.Thus regular molecular epidemiological surveillance is necessary for control and prevention of DENV transmission. | Jiang Du Liyuan Zhang Xiaoyuan Hu Ruoyan Peng Gaoyu Wang Yi Huang Wenqi Wang Kunliang Wu Qiang Wang Haoxiang Su Fan Yang Yun Zhang Chuanning Tang Xiuji Cui Lina Niu Gang Lu Meifang Xiao Yongguo Du Feifei Yin | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,4: | 2 |

Applying the descriptor model transformation and introducing free weighting matrices, a new type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and some new delay-dependent criteria are obtained. These criteria include the delay-independent/rate-dependent and delay-dependent/rate-independent exponential stability criteria. These new criteria are less conservative than existing ones.
