1Fabrication of large-area uniform carbon nanotube foams as near-critical-density targets for laser–plasma experiments显示文摘Carbon nanotube foams(CNFs)have been successfully used as near-critical-density targets in the laser-driven acceleration of high-energy ions and electrons.Here we report the recent advances in the fabrication technique of such targets.With the further developed floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition(FCCVD)method,large-area(>25 cm^(2))and highly uniform CNFs are successfully deposited on nanometer-thin metal or plastic foils as double-layer targets.The density and thickness of the CNF can be controlled in the range of 1−13 mg/cm^(3)and 10−200µm,respectively,by varying the synthesis parameters.The dependence of the target properties on the synthesis parameters and the details of the target characterization methods are presented for the first time.Pengjie Wang Guijun Qi Zhuo Pan Defeng Kong Yinren Shou Jianbo Liu Zhengxuan Cao Zhusong Mei Shirui Xu Zhipeng Liu Shiyou Chen Ying Gao Jiarui Zhao Wenjun Ma 2021High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021,9,2:1

3FSIP1 enhances the therapeutic sensitivity to CDK4/6 inhibitors in triple-negative breast cancer patients by activating the Nanog pathway显示文摘CDK4/6 inhibitors are routinely recommended agents for the treatment of advanced HR+HER2-breast cancer.However,their therapeutic effectiveness in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)remains controversial.Here,we observed that the expression level of fibrous sheath interacting protein 1(FSIP1)could predict the treatment response of TNBC to CDK4/6 inhibitors.High FSIP1 expression level was related to a poor prognosis in TNBC,which was associated with the ability of FSIP1 to promote tumor cell proliferation.FSIP1 downregulation led to slowed tumor growth and reduced lung metastasis in TNBC.FSIP1knockout caused cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase and reduced treatment sensitivity to CDK4/6 inhibitors by inactivating the Nanog/CCND1/CDK4/6 pathway.FSIP1 could form a complex with Nanog,protecting it from ubiquitination and degradation,which may facilitate the rapid cell cycle transition from G0/G1 to S phase and exhibit enhanced sensitivity to CDK4/6 inhibitors.Our findings suggest that TNBC patients with high FSIP1 expression levels may be suitable candidates for CDK4/6 inhibitor treatment.Guanglei Chen Lisha Sun Xi Gu Liping Ai Jie Yang Zhan Zhang Pengjie Hou Yining Wang Xunyan Ou Xiaofan Jiang Xinbo Qiao Qingtian Ma Nan Niu Jinqi Xue Hao Zhang Yongliang Yang Caigang Liu 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,12:1

6High-energy-density plasma in femtosecond-laser-irradiated nanowire-array targets for nuclear reactions显示文摘In this work,the high-energy-density plasmas(HEDP)evolved from joule-class-femtosecond-laser-irradiated nanowire-array(NWA)targets were numerically and experimentally studied.The results of particle-in-cell simulations indicate that ions accelerated in the sheath field around the surfaces of the nanowires are eventually confined in a plasma,contributing most to the high energy densities.The protons emitted from the front surfaces of the NWA targets provide rich information about the interactions that occur.We give the electron and ion energy densities for broad target parameter ranges.The ion energy densities from NWA targets were found to be an order of magnitude higher than those from planar targets,and the volume of the HEDP was several-fold greater.At optimal target parameters,8%of the laser energy can be converted to confined protons,and this results in ion energy densities at the GJ/cm^(3) level.In the experiments,the measured energy of the emitted protons reached 4 MeV,and the changes in energy with the NWA’s parameters were found to fit the simulation results well.Experimental measurements of neutrons from 2H(d,n)3He fusion with a yield of(24±18)×10^(6)/J from deuterated polyethylene NWA targets also confirmed these results.Defeng Kong Guoqiang Zhang Yinren Shou Shirui Xu Zhusong Mei Zhengxuan Cao Zhuo Pan Pengjie Wang Guijun Qi Yao Lou Zhiguo Ma Haoyang Lan Wenzhao Wang Yunhui Li Peter Rubovic Martin Veselsky Aldo Bonasera Jiarui Zhao Yixing Geng Yanying Zhao Changbo Fu Wen Luo Yugang Ma Xueqing Yan Wenjun Ma 2022Matter and Radiation at Extremes2022,7,6:1

8High-lying excited states in ^10Be from the ^9Be(^9Be,^10Be)^8Be reaction显示文摘A transfer-reaction experiment of ~9Be(~9Be,^(10)Be)~8Be was performed at a beam energy of 45 Me V.Excited states in ^(10)Be up to 18.80 Me V are produced using missing mass and invariant mass methods.Most of the observed high-lying resonant states,reconstructed from theα+~6He and t+~7Li decay channels,agree with the previously reported results.In addition,two new resonances at 15.6 and 18.8 Me V are identified from the present measurement.The 18.55 Me V state is found to decay into both the t + ~7Lig:s: and t + ~7Li?(0.478 MeV) channels, with a relative branching ratio of 0:93 ± 0:33. 10Diagenesis of the Paleogene Sandstones in the DN2 Gas Field,Kuqa Foreland Basin and its Link to Tectonics显示文摘We investigated diagenesis of the sandstones from the DN2 Gas Field of the Kuqa Foreland Basin(KFB),in order to infer the timing of fluid migration and discuss the linkage between fluids and tectonics.The textures and chemical composition of authigenic minerals,fluid evidence from fluid inclusions and formation water measurements were all used to fulfill this aim.Eodiagenesis occurred with the participation of meteoric water and connate water.Mesodiagenesis is related to high salinity fluids,which were attributed as originating from the overlying Neogene Jidike Formation evaporite(principal minerals including halite,anhydrite,glauberite,carnallite and thenardite).The onset of high salinity fluid migration is inferred to occur during the late Miocene(12.4-9.2 Ma)through the use of homogenization temperatures measured in the present study and K-Ar dating of authigenetic illites from previous work.This period is consistent with the crucial phase(13-10 Ma)that witnessed the rapid uplift of the southern Tianshan Mts and the stage when calcite and anhydrite veins formed in the studied strata.We thus argue that diagenesis related to high salinity fluids occurred as a response to the Tianshan Mts'rapid uplift and related tectonic processes.The flow of high salinity fluids was probably driven by a density gradient and channeled and focused by fractures formed contemporaneously.YU Guoding YUAN Jing LIU Keyu YANG Xianzhang DONG Daotao MA Pengjie HUANG Chiqiang 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,5:0

12Geochemical investigation of low latitude black shale intervals of the Lower to Middle Jurassic succession, Indus Basin, Pakistan显示文摘The Lower to Middle Jurassic sedimentary succession is dominated by siliciclastics with a significant amount of black shales in the Indus Basin,Pakistan.Several outcrop samples have been studied using an integrated approach to interpret the conceptual depositional setting from carbon and oxygen isotopes(δ^(13)C&δ18O),organic geochemistry,and palynofacies with major and trace element analysis.For interpretation of trace element data,various single and elemental ratios have been used in this research to unlock the geological history of the studied strata.Ti/Al is 1.96 for high-potential source rock and 7.82 for non-potential source rock,and Cr(less than 1)indicates low clastic input with low oxygen for stratified and stagnant water.The ratios of V/(V+Cr),V/(V+Ni),V/Mo,V/Ni,(Cu+Mo)/Zn,Mo/Al,isotopic values ofδ^(13)C andδ18O and besides the V/Cr elemental ratio,all proxies indicate that there are oxygen-depleted anoxic conditions at high potentials,while in non-potential source rock,these ratios show oxic to sub-oxic settings.In addition to the trace element correlation with total organic carbon,the influx of organic matter is determined by the palynoafacies analysis,which indicates mixed terrestrial and marine organic influx in high-potential source rock and vice versa.Furthermore,the studies of palynofaceis DFPF A-D and SFPF A-B suggest that the depositional setting of black shale occurred in the anoxic proximal to distal shelf.The results suggest that the regional and local occurrence of black shale during the Lower to Middle Jurassic and its geological condition were addressed,and these play an important role in its depositional and paleooceanographic setting in the Eastern Tethys.Fahad ALI Shiqi ZHANG Muhammad HANIF Mohibullah MOHIBULLAH Yaxuan ZHANG Muhammad USMAN Sheng WANG Xueliang LIU Pengjie MA Dongmou HUANG 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,3:0
