| 2 | Langmuir-Blodgett Films from Schiff Base Aluminium (Ⅲ) Complex显示文摘The characteristics of the LB films of Schiff base aluminium( Ⅲ ), tris(2-hydroxy-5-nitro N-dodecyl-benzylideneaminato) aluminium ( Ⅲ ) [Al (TA 12) 3], were studied. The surface pres sure-area(r-A) isotherm of Al(TA12)3 in the pure water subphase was investigated. The molec ular area, 0.48 nm2, is one-third of the expected value that indicates the formation of an aggre gate. The Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of Al(TA12) 3 were transferred and characterized. The UV-Vis spectra and the AFM image both confirmed that the J-aggregates formed. The polarized UV-Vis spectra indicated that the complex plane had to be oriented with an angle of about 30° to the substrate surface. | 3 | Photoelectrical performance of nanocrystalline TiO_2 film electrode sensitized by Ru(Ⅱ)-bipyridine complexes显示文摘Two kinds of Ru(Ⅱ)-bipyridine complexes, cis-di(thiocyanate)bis(2,2′-bipyridyl-4,4′-dicarboxylate) ruthenium(Ⅱ) and cis-di(thiocyanate)bis(2,2′-bipyridyl-3,3′-dicarboxylate) ruthenium(Ⅱ), were utilized as the sensitizers to the nanocrystalline TiO-2 film electrodes. Study shows that the two dyes have quite different sensitization properties due to the strong steric effect of carboxyl groups. Scanning tunneling current spectroscopy(STS) was taken at a fixed tip - Sample separation. Tunneling currnt(i) - voltage(v) curve and differential conductance spectrum show an n-type schottky rectifying behaviour and yteld a direct measure of band gap energy. In the case of known information of its structure and spectra, the theory applied is based on the assumption that the coupling interaction between two chromophores is fairly weak. The theory correctly predicts the experimentlly observed rate for excitation energy transfer in allophycocyanin monomer. Mechanistic study of the photodecarboxylation of arylmethyl esters in micellar solutions显示文摘Photolysis of benzyl phenylacetate (ACO2A), benzyl p-methylphenylacetate (BCO2A) and1-naphthyl phenylacetate (ACO2Np) in homogeneous and micellar solutions results in products typicalof radical coupling reactions and loss of carbon dioxide. The cage effects upon direct photolysis ofthese esters in acetonitrile are significantly greater than zero and those in SDS or HDTBr micellarsolutions are even greater. In the triplet sensitization reaction of ACO2 Np in micellar solutions thecage effects are smaller than those obtained upon direct irradiation. However, the application of a0.05 or 0.2 T external magnetic field in the photolysis in micellar solutions decreases the cage effectsdramatically.
