1Antimicrobial effect of sodium houttuyfonate on Staphylococcus epidermidis and Candida albicans biofilms显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To study antimicrobial effect of Sodium houttuyfonate(SH) on Staphylococcus epidermidis(SE) and Candida albicans(CA). METHODS: The prepared strain broths(OD600 =0.05) containing SE and CA were firstly used to test the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs) of SH, azithromycin(AZM) and fluconazole(FLU) by micro-dilution method. Then the biofilms of SE and CA were matured in 96-well plates, and co-cultured with SH, AZM and FLU for 1, 2 and 3 days to assess the antibiofilm efficacies of the agents with different concentrations by crystal violet staining method. At last, the treated biofilms of SE and CA by 2× MIC agents were observed by scanning electronic microscope. RESULTS: The MICs of SE and CA were 256 and 1024 μg/mL, respectively. After the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day of medications, the suppressions of biofilm were about 60%(P<0.01), 76%(P=0.000) and 75%(P=0.000) by 2×MIC SH, the suppressions of biofilm were about 90%(P=0.000), 88%(P=0.000) and 90%(P=0.000) by 2×MIC SH, which could be testified by scanning electron microscope results. However, the inhibitions of biofilm attachment had no significant difference for SE by SH and azithromycin and CA by SH and fluconazole. CONCLUSION: SH had widely anti-pathogenic effect on pathogenic biofilm formation of either bacteria or fungus, had more influence on enclosed cells of SE and CA than the traditional antibiotics, revealing its target might be the extracellular polymeric substances, and was more active to inhibit the growth of CA than SE.Jing Shao Huijuan Cheng Daqiang Wu Changzhong Wang Lingling Zhu Zhenxin Sun Qiangjun Duan Weifeng Huang Jinliang Huang 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,6:4
2Thiabendazole inhibits ubiquinone reduction activity of mitochondrial respiratory complex Ⅱ via a water molecule mediated binding feature显示文摘The mitochondrial respiratory complex Ⅱ or succinate:ubiquinone oxidoreductase(SQR)is a key membrane complex in both the tricarboxylic acid cycle and aerobic respiration.Five disinfectant compounds were investigated with their potent inhibition effects on the ubiquinone reduction activity of the porcine mitochondrial SQR by enzymatic assay and crystallography.Crystal structure of the SQR bound with thiabendazole(TBZ)reveals a different inhibitor-binding feature at the ubiquinone binding site where a water molecule plays an important role.The obvious inhibitory effect of TBZ based on the biochemical data(IC50~100μmol/L)and the significant structure-based binding affinity calculation(~94μmol/L)draw the suspicion of using TBZ as a good disinfectant compound for nematode infections treatment and fruit storage.Qiangjun Zhou Yujia Zhai Jizhong Lou Man Liu Xiaoyun Pang Fei Sun 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,7:2
3Methods of Lightning Nowcasting Based on Radar Echo Extrapolation Technology显示文摘An improved echo extrapolation technology( MOD-COTREC) was introduced firstly,and then two plans for lightning nowcasting based on MOD-COTREC and both isothermal radar reflectivity and MOD-COTREC were proposed based on the technology. Afterwards,the two plans for lightning nowcasting were tested by a case respectively. It is concluded that during the process of lightning nowcasting singly based on MOD-COTREC,the appearance and disappearance of lightning are not considered,and only lightning position is predicted when lightning density is constant,so the prediction error is big. The plan for lightning nowcasting based on both isothermal radar reflectivity and MOD-COTREC is still at an experimental stage,and the nowcasting products of cloud-to-ground lightning based on the plan are very different from the actual density and position of cloud-to-ground lightning,so it needs to be improved further.Xu Qiangjun 2016Meteorological and Environmental Research2016,7,5:2

6Effect of sodium houttuyfonate on symptom pattern of lung-Qi deficiency in rats induced by bacterialbiofilm infection显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the in vivo inhibitory effects of sodium houttuyfonate(SH) on symptom pattern of Qi-deficiency in rats induced by infection of bacterial biofilm on rat respiratory tract.METHODS: Symptom pattern is a term used in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) to define a cluster of symptoms in a medical condition. Based on the pattern, TCM therapies are administered. The symptom pattern used in this study was lung-Qi deficiency pattern identified in rats, which was induced by nasal intubation drip of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P. aeruginosa)(two strains) to form bacterial biofilm on airway combined with stimulation of cold and fatigue. We measured the variations of the symptoms of the pattern, weight, spleen and thymus index, blood gas, lung bronchial tissue pathology and cytokine of rat in different treatments and control groups.RESULTS: The rats of SH-treatment groups had not showed typical symptoms comparing with model group in the early stage of infection. The weight,spleen and thymus index of the SH-treatment groups were significantly higher comparing with untreated model group. The SH-treatment groups also showed higher O2 partial pressure and lower CO2 partial pressure than model group. Furthermore, we found that the bronchopulmonary section of SH-treatment groups not showed typical pathogenic variation in model group. The comparison of cytokine concentration in different groups indicated that SH could prevent the over-production of cytokine to reduce the inflammation occurrence.CONCLUSION: In the early stage of airway infection by biofilm of P. aeruginosa, application of SH can prevent the occurrence of lung-Qi deficiency pattern.Wu Daqiang Huang Weifeng Duan Qiangjun Cheng Huijuan 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,6:1

10Maintenance Management Research of a Large-span Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge Based on Reliability Assessment by Using Strain Monitored Data显示文摘When the bridge components needing maintenance are the world problem at present,and the health monitoring system is considered to be a very help­ful tool for solving this problem.In this paper,a large number of strain data acquired from the structural health monitoring system(SHMS)installed on a continuous rigid frame bridge are adopted to do reliability assessment.Firstly,a calculation method of punctiform time-dependent reliability is proposed based on the basic reliability theory,and introduced how to cal­culate reliability of the bridge by using the stress data transformed from the strain data.Secondly,combined with“Three Sigma”principle and the basic pressure safety reserve requirement,the critical load effects distribu­tion function of the bridge is defined,and then the maintenance reliability threshold for controlling the unfavorable load state which appears in the early operation stage of this type bridge is suggested,and then the combi­nation of bridge maintenance management and health monitoring system is realized.Finally,the transformed stress distribution certifies that the load effects of concrete bridges practically have a normal distribution;as for the concrete continuous rigid frame bridge with C50 strength grade concrete,the retrofit reliability threshold should be valued at 6.13.The methodology suggested in this article can help bridge engineers do effective maintenance of bridges,which can effectively extend the service life of the bridge and bring better economic and social benefits.Yinghua Li Kesheng Peng Junyong He Qiangjun Shuai Gang Zou 2021Journal of Architectural Environment & Structural Engineering Research2021,4,2:1
11Effect of Isothermal Temperature on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of High Al–Low Si TRIP Steel显示文摘In this study, the effect of isothermal temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of a high Al–low Si TRIP steel was investigated using scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, electron back scattered diffraction, and tensile test. The results show that typical microstructure containing ferrite, bainite, and retained austenite can be obtained when two-stage heat treatment process was utilized. When annealing temperature is 840 °C and austempering temperature is 400 °C, the tensile strength is 542 MPa and the product of strength and elongation is 17,685 MPa%. 12Structural Design and Dynamic Characteristics of Overloaded Horizontal Servo Cylinder for Resisting Dynamic Partial Load显示文摘When an output curve force is applied to a horizontal servo cylinder with a heavy load, the piston rod bears a dynamic partial load based on the installation and load characteristics, which significantly a ects the frequency response and control accuracy of the servo cylinder. Based on this partial load, increased friction can lead to cylinder bore scu ng, leakage, lack of output power, or even system failure. In this paper, a novel asymmetric static-pressure support structure is proposed based on the principle of hydrostatic support. The radial component force of a dynamic partial load is balanced by cooperation between the support oil cushion of the variable hydraulic pressure support structure, oil cushion of the supportive force, and the damper. Adaptive control of the servo cylinder piston rod, guide sleeve, and piston, as well as the cylinder oil film friction between lubricated surfaces is achieved. In this paper, theoretical design and analysis of the traditional hydrostatic bearing structure and novel structure are presented. A hydraulic dynamic shear scissor is used as a research target to derive a structural dynamic model. Comparative simulations are performed using Matlab Simulink.
