| 1 | Patulin Imprinted Nanoparticles Decorated Surface Plasmon Resonance Chips for Patulin Detection显示文摘In this study,the patulin imprinted and the non-imprinted nanoparticles are synthesized by the two-phase mini emulsion polymerization method and characterized by zeta-size analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and scanning electron microscopy.Afterwards,the patulin imprinted and the non-imprinted nanoparticles are attached on the surface of surface plasmon resonance(SPR)chips.The patulin imprinted and the non-imprinted SPR nanosensors are characterized by using atomic force microscope,ellipsometer,and contact angle measurements.Kinetic studies for patulin detection are carried out in the concentration range of 0.5nmol-750nmol.The limit of detection and the limit of quantification values are obtained as 0.011 nmol and 0.036 nmol,respectively.In all kinetic analysis,the response time is 13 min for equilibration,adsorption,and desorption cycles.The selectivity studies of the patulin imprinted and the non-imprinted SPR nanosensors are determined in the presence of ochratoxin A and aflatoxin Bl.In order to demonstrate the applicability,validation studies of the patulin imprinted SPR nanosensor are performed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS). | Duygu CIMEN Nilay BERELI Adil DENIZLI | 2022 | Photonic Sensors2022,12,2: | 3 |
| 2 | Prognostic impact of atrial fibrillation on clinical outcomes of acute coronary syndromes,heart failure and chronic kidney disease显示文摘Atrial fibrillation(AF) is the most common type of sustained arrhythmia,which is now on course to reach epidemic proportions in the elderly population. AF is a commonly encountered comorbidity in patients with cardiac and major non-cardiac diseases. Morbidity and mortality associated with AF makes it a major healthcare burden. The objective of our article is to determine the prognostic impact of AF on acute coronary syndromes,heart failure and chronic kidney disease. Multiple studies have been conducted to determine if AF has an independent role in the overall mortality of such patients. | 9 | Interactions between the Design and Operation of Shale GasNetworks, Including C02 Sequestration显示文摘As the demand for energy continues to increase, shale gas, as an unconventional source of methane (CH4),shows great potential for commercialization. However, due to the ultra-low permeability of shale gas reser-voirs, special procedures such as horizontal drilling, hydraulic fracturing, periodic well shut-in, and carbondioxide (C02) injection may be required in order to boost gas production, maximize economic benefits, andensure safe and environmentally sound operation. Although intensive research is devoted to this emergingtechnology, many researchers have studied shale gas design and operational decisions only in isolation. Infact, these decisions are highly interactive and should be considered simultaneously. Therefore, the researchquestion addressed in this study includes interactions between design and operational decisions. In thispaper, we first establish a full-physics model for a shale gas reservoir. Next, we conduct a sensitivity analysisof important design and operational decisions such as well length, well arrangement, number of fractures,fracture distance, C02 injection rate, and shut-in scheduling in order to gain in-depth insights into the com-plex behavior of shale gas networks. The results suggest that the case with the highest shale gas productionmay not necessarily be the most profitable design; and that drilling, fracturing, and CO2 injection have greatimpacts on the economic viability of this technology. In particular, due to the high costs, enhanced gas re-covery (EGR) using CO2 does not appear to be commercially competitive, unless tax abatements or subsidiesare available for CO2 sequestration.
