3Late Mesozoic magmatism in the Jiaodong Peninsula,East China:Implications for crust-mantle interactions and lithospheric thinning of the eastern North China Craton显示文摘A section from the Linglong gold deposit on the northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula,East China,containing Late Mesozoic magmatic rocks from mafic and intermediate dikes and felsic intrusions,was chosen to investigate the lithospheric evolution of the eastern North China Craton(NCC).Zircon U-Pb data showed that low-Mg adakitic monzogranites and granodiorite intrusions were emplaced during the Late Jurassic(~145 Ma) and late Early Cretaceous(112-107 Ma),respectively;high-Mg adakitic diorite and mafic dikes were also emplaced during the Early Cretaceous at^139 Ma and ~118 Ma,and 125-145 Ma and 115-120 Ma,respectively.The geochemical data,including whole-rock major and trace element compositions and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopes,imply that the mafic dikes originated from the partial melting of a lithospheric mantle metasomatised through hydrous fluids from a subducted oceanic slab.Low-Mg adakitic monzogranites and granodiorite intrusions originated from the partial melting of the thickened lower crust of the NCC,while high-Mg adakitic diorite dikes originated from the mixing of mafic and felsic melts.Late Mesozoic magmatism showed that lithosphere-derived melts showed a similar source depth and that crust-derived felsic melts originated from the continuously thickened lower crust of the Jiaodong Peninsula from the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous.We infer that the lower crust of the eastern NCC was thickened through compression and subduction of the Palaeo-Pacific plate beneath the NCC during the Middle Jurassic.Slab rollback of the plate from ~160 Ma resulted in lithospheric thinning and accompanied Late Mesozoic magmatism.Yayun Liang Xuefei Liu Qingfei Wang Rui Zhao Yao Ma 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,3:5
4GPP(composition of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides and Polyporus umbellatus polysaccharides) protects against DSS-induced murine colitis by enhancing immune function and regulating intestinal flora显示文摘Previous study have demonstrated that a compound composed of water-soluable Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides(GLP)and Polyporus umbellatus polysaccharides(PUP)in a ratio of 3:1 named GPP enhances innate immune function in mice through enhancing the function of macrophage cells and activity of natural killer(NK)cells.Here in our research,we further investigated the effect of GPP on the diversity and composition of intestinal flora,and explored its effect on colitis model mice.The immunoregulatory verification experiments of GPP were conducted in both normal and DSS-induced mice model.Our research showed that GPP increased the diversity of intestinal microorganisms in mice with the extension of administration time.Daily GPP intake attenuated DSS-induced colon injury,protected the splenic lymphocyte proliferation ability,enhanced the serum hemolysin synthesis,and increased peripheral phagocytes and NK cell activity in model mice.Comparisons of the predominant gene pathways of the bacterial microbiota showed that DNA repair and recombination,base mismatch repair pathways was stronger in GPP-treatment group than in control group,indicating the possible molecular mechanisms of immune function regulation.Our study showed that GPP regulated immune function in both health and colitis model,and had a positive effect on maintaining intestinal flora homeostasis.Liyuan Li Yannan Guo Qing Huang Xiaojin Shi Qingqing Liu Fang Wang Qingfei Liu Kang Yu Zhao Wang 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,4:2

9Ample dietary fat reduced the risk of primary vesical calculi by inducing macrophages to engulf budding crystals in mice显示文摘Although primary vesical calculi is an ancient disease,the mechanism of calculi formation remains unclear.In this study,we established a novel primary vesical calculi model with D,L-choline tartrate in mice.Compared with commonly used melamine and ethylene glycol models,our model was the only approach that induced vesical calculi without causing kidney injury.Previous studies suggest that proteins in the daily diet are the main contributors to the prevention of vesical calculi,yet the effect of fat is overlooked.To assay the relationship of dietary fat with the formation of primary vesical calculi,D,L-choline tartrate-treated mice were fed a high-fat,low-fat,or normal-fat diet.Genetic changes in the mouse bladder were detected with transcriptome analysis.A high-fat diet remarkably reduced the morbidity of primary vesical calculi.Higher fatty acid levels in serum and urine were observed in the high-fat diet group,and more intact epithelia in bladder were observed in the same group compared with the normal-and low-fat diet groups,suggesting the protective effect of fatty acids on bladder epithelia to maintain its normal histological structure.Transcriptome analysis revealed that the macrophage differentiation-related gene C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14(Cxcl14)was upregulated in the bladders of high-fat diet-fed mice compared with those of normal-or low-fat diet-fed mice,which was consistent with histological observations.The expression of CXCL14 significantly increased in the bladder in the high-fat diet group.CXCL14 enhanced the recruitment of macrophages to the crystal nucleus and induced the transformation of M2 macrophages,which led to phagocytosis of budding crystals and prevented accumulation of calculi.In human bladder epithelia(HCV-29)cells,high fatty acid supplementation significantly increased the expression of CXCL14.Dietary fat is essential for the maintenance of physiological functions of the bladder and for the prevention of primary vesical calculi,which provides new ideas for the reduction of morbidity of primary vesical calculi.Huiling Chen Kaiqiang Hu Yaru Liang Yuqi Gao Chenye Zeng Kang Xu Xiaojin Shi Liyuan Li Yuemiao Yin Yi Qiao Ying Qiu Qingfei Liu Zhao Wang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:1
10Evaluation of the physiochemical and metabolite of different region coffee beans by using UHPLC-QE-MS untargeted-metabonomics approaches显示文摘Coffee is one of the most important agricultural commodities and has the unique organoleptic characteristics such as strong but not bitter taste,fragrant,oily,and fruity.In this study,an untargeted metabolomics approach based on UHPLC-QE-MS was used to investigate the differences in terms of components of precursor metabolites in coffee beans from 18 producing regions worldwide.Fingerprint analysis,principal component analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis revealed a neat separation among coffee beans.Compounds with high relevance to variance in the projection values in supervised multivariate analysis were selected as important metabolites for the discrimination of coffee samples.In total,10 different families of compounds were considered as potential markers of the coffee beans:3-hydroxycoumarin,4,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic,cryptochlorogenic acid,palmitic amide,linoleamide,arachidic acid,petroselinic acid,trehalose,L-glutamic acid,L-malic acid.The findings presented herein serve as a suitable framework for the design of novel discrimination strategies in food origin tracing.Yue Miao Qingfei Zou Qiuping Wang Jiashun Gong Chao Tan Chunxiu Peng Chunyan Zhao Zelin Li 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:1

14Ellagic acid ameliorates cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury by regulating inflammation and SIRT6/TNF-α signaling显示文摘De spite cisplatin has been widely used in the treatment of various cancers,the noteworthy nephrotoxicity greatly constrained its clinical value.For this reason,finding novel targeted therapies to attenuate the nephrotoxicity of cisplatin should be pretty significant.Our previous study found that histone deacetylase sirtuin 6(SIRT6)could be an ideal target for the treatment of cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury.In this study,we explored the protective effects of ellagic acid,a natural polyphenol compound that activates SIRT6,on cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity.Pre-treatment of ellagic acid attenuated cytotoxicity of cisplatin in primary renal cells and TCMK-1 cells.Moreover,ellagic acid ameliorated renal dysfunction,apoptosis and fibrosis induced by cisplatin in mice.Furthermore,ellagic acid reduced nephrotoxicity-associated inflammatory factor interleukin(IL)-1βand IL-6 expression both in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistically,ellagic acid reversed cisplatin-reduced SIRT6 expression and diminished cisplatin-induced tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αexpression.And SIRT6 knockdown abrogated the protective effects of ellagic acid on cisplatin-induced cell apoptosis,indicating the renal-protective effects of ellagic acid are mainly dependent on ellagic acid-mediated SIRT6 activation.Our results provide preclinical rationale for using ellagic acid as a feasible and promising agent to ameliorate cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury,and support ellagic acid as a potential adjunctive therapy for future cancer treatment.Yuqi Gao Kezheng Peng Yida Wang Yannan Guo Chenye Zeng Rui Hua Qingfei Liu Xue Li Ying Qiu Zhao Wang 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,6:1

17Sinopec Promotes Effective Development of Proven Undeveloped Reserves显示文摘Proven undeveloped reserves (PUDs) refers to discovered proven reserves that are difficult to develop, require high costs for production, have low commercial value or are temporarily not put into commercial development under the existing technological and economic conditions. Sinopec’s PUDs are dominated by deep-and ultra-deep reservoirs with ultra-low permeability, high-density, low-pressure coefficient and low abundance. These oil reservoirs have narrow storage space and complex storage status, leading to difficulties in predicting effective reservoirs, low single-well production, high production cost and difficulties in benefit generation. 19Tuning the structures of two-dimensional cuprous oxid econfined on Au(111)显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) cuprous oxide (Cu20) nanostructures (NSs) of monolayerthickness were synthesized on Au(111) and characterized using atomic-resolutionscanning tunneling microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and densityfunctional theory (DFT) calculations. The surface and edge structures of 2DCu20 were resolved at the atomic level and found to exhibit a graphene-like latticestructure. Cu20 NSs grew preferentially at the face centered cubic (fcc) domains ofAu(111). Depending on the annealing temperature, the shapes and structuresof Cu20 NSs were found to vary from elongated islands with a defectivehexagonal lattice (mostly topological 5-7 defects) to triangular NSs with analmost-perfect hexagonal lattice. The edge structures of Cu20 NSs also variedwith the annealing temperature, from predominantly the arm-chair 56 structureat 400 K to almost exclusively the zig-zag structure at 600 K. DFT calculationssuggested that the herringbone ridges of Au(111) confined the growth andstructure of Cu20 NSs on Au(111). As such, the arm-chair edges of Cu20 NSs,which are less stable than the zig-zag edges, could be exposed preferentially at400 K.
