1A Highly Pathogenic Strain of Porcine Deltacoronavirus Caused Watery Diarrhea in Newborn Piglets显示文摘Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV) is a newly identified virus that causes watery diarrhea in newborn piglets and results in significant economic losses to the pig industry. Since first reported in Hong Kong in 2012, PDCoV has been subsequently detected in USA, South Korea, Thailand, and China's Mainland. Here we isolated a strain of PDCoV, named CHN-GD-2016,from the intestinal content of a diseased newborn piglet with severe diarrhea in a pig farm in Guangdong, China. PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 could be identified by immunofluorescence with PDCoV specific rabbit antisera, and typical crown-shaped particles with spiky surface projections of this PDCoV were observed with electron microscopy. Genomic analysis showed that the PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 was closely related to other Chinese PDCoV strains, with the highest sequence similarity with the strain CHN/Tianjin/2016. Importantly, inoculation of newborn piglets with 1×10~5 TCID_(50) of CHN-GD-2016 by oral feeding successfully reproduced clear clinical symptoms, including vomiting, dehydration, and severe diarrhea in piglets. In addition, the virus RNA in rectal swabs from 1 to 7 days post inoculation was detected, macroscopic and microscopic lesions in small intestine were observed, and viral antigen was also detected in the small intestines with immunohistochemical staining. 2Effect of chronic corticosterone-induced depression on circadian rhythms and age-related phenotypes in mice显示文摘Disrupted circadian rhythms are a recognized effect of depression,and our previous article demonstrated an association between depression and premature aging,but the underlying mechanisms are not well understood.In the present study,we used a mouse model of chronic corticosterone (CORT)-treated depression to elucidate a mechanism by which depression may be associated with the circadian clock and mediate age-related phenotypes.Mice received a daily injection of 20 mg/kg CORT for 21 consecutive days,and the depression-like behaviors of mice were identified by the sucrose intake test,tail suspension test and open field test.Our findings indicated that CORT injection may be correlatedwith the circadian clock by impairing circadian rhythms or shifting the phase values of clock genes.We also showed that CORT-treated mice exhibited a significant gradual reduction in body weight gain with increased oxidative stress, including reduced activity of antioxidant-related enzymes,reduced glutathione:glutathione disulfide ratio and cytochrome (Cyt)-C level,and elevated reactive oxygen species content.Moreover, chronic CORT injection affected inflammatory responses,the production of mitochondrial ATP and telomere shortening,which may be associated with the Sirtuin 3 (SIRT3)signaling pathway. 3Ordered mesoporous NiFe_2O_4 with ultrathin framework for low-ppb toluene sensing显示文摘Highly sensitive and selective detection against specific target gases,especially at low-ppb(part per billion)level,remain a great number of challenges in gas sensor applications.In this paper,we first present an ordered mesoporous NiFe_2O_4 for highly sensitive and selective detection against low-ppb toluene.A series of mesoporous NiFe_2O_4 materials were synthesized by templating from mesoporous silica KIT-6 and its framework thickness was reduced from 8.5 to 5 nm by varying the pore size of KIT-6 from 9.4 to 5.6 nm,accompanied with the increase of the specific surface area from 134 to 216 m^2g^(-1).The ordered mesoporous NiFe_2O_4 with both ultrathin framework of 5 nm and large specific surface area of up to 216 m^2g^(-1)exhibits a highest response(R_(gas)/R_(air)-1=77.3)toward 1,000 ppb toluene at 230℃ and is nearly 7.3 and 76.7 times higher than those for the NiFe_2O_4 replica with thick framework and its bulk counterpart respectively,which also possesses a quite low limit of detection(<2 ppb),and good selectivity.Xiaoyong Lai Kun Cao Guoxin Shen Ping Xue Dan Wang Fang Hu Jianli Zhang Qingfeng Yang Xiaozhong Wang 2018Science Bulletin2018,63,3:3

7Recent changes in ground surface thermal regimes in the context of air temperature warming over the Heihe River Basin, China显示文摘Changes in ground surface thermal regimes play a vital role in surface and subsurface hydrology, ecosystem diversity and productivity, and global thermal, water and carbon budgets as well as climate change. Estimating spring, summer, autumn and winter air temperatures and mean annual air temperature(MAAT) from 1960 through 2008 over the Heihe River Basin reveals a statistically significant trend of 0.31 °C/decade, 0.28 °C/decade, 0.37 °C/decade, 0.50 °C/decade, and 0.37 °C /decade, respectively. The averaged time series of mean annual ground surface temperature(MAGST) and maximum annual ground surface temperature(MaxAGST) for 1972–2006 over the basin indicates a statistically significant trend of 0.58 °C/decade and 1.27 °C/decade, respectively. The minimum annual ground surface temperature(MinAGST) in the same period remains unchanged as a whole. 8A novel blue-purple Ce^(3+) doped whitlockite phosphor:Synthesis,crystal structure,and photoluminescence properties显示文摘At present,the rare earth(RE) ions doped phosphors have attracted more and more attention because of their excellent properties.In this paper,a series of novel blue-purple β-Ca_(3)(PO_(4))_(2):Ce^(3+) phosphors were synthesized by a high temperature solid phase method.The X-ray diffraction(XRD),infrared spectrum,energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra were used to investigate the crystal structure,composition and the luminescent properties of the resulting samples.The phosphor shows a strong absorption in the ultraviolet band.Under the excitation of 269 nm,the phosphor emits a strong purple fluorescence ranging from 360 to 520 nm.When Ce^(3+) doping content is 0.07 mol,the strongest luminescence intensity is reached,and the concentration quenching mechanism is dipole-dipole(d-d)interaction for Ce^(3+) based on Dexter theory.Yuli Yuan Haoran Lin Jing'ao Cao Qingfeng Guo Fei Xu Libing Liao Lefu Mei 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:1
9A de novo missense mutation in MPP2 confers an increased risk of Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada disease as shown by trio-based whole-exome sequencing显示文摘Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada(VKH)disease is a leading cause of blindness in young and middle-aged people.However,the etiology of VKH disease remains unclear.Here,we performed the first trio-based whole-exome sequencing study,which enrolled 25 VKH patients and 50 controls,followed by a study of 2081 VKH patients from a Han Chinese population to uncover detrimental mutations.A total of 15 de novo mutations in VKH patients were identified,with one of the most important being the membrane palmitoylated protein 2(MPP2)p.K315N(MPP2-N315)mutation.The MPP2-N315 mutation was highly deleterious according to bioinformatic predictions.Additionally,this mutation appears rare,being absent from the 1000 Genome Project and Genome Aggregation Database,and it is highly conserved in 10 species,including humans and mice.Subsequent studies showed that pathological phenotypes and retinal vascular leakage were aggravated in MPP2-N315 mutation knock-in or MPP2-N315 adeno-associated virus-treated mice with experimental autoimmune uveitis(EAU).In vitro,we used clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR‒Cas9)gene editing technology to delete intrinsic MPP2 before overexpressing wild-type MPP2 or MPP2-N315.Levels of cytokines,such as IL-1β,IL-17E,and vascular endothelial growth factor A,were increased,and barrier function was destroyed in the MPP2-N315 mutant ARPE19 cells.Mechanistically,the MPP2-N315 mutation had a stronger ability to directly bind to ANXA2 than MPP2-K315,as shown by LC‒MS/MS and Co-IP,and resulted in activation of the ERK3/IL-17E pathway.Overall,our results demonstrated that the MPP2-K315N mutation may increase susceptibility to VKH disease.Xianyang Liu Jiayu Meng Xingyun Liao Yusen Liu Qian Zhou Zongren Xu Shuming Yin Qingfeng Cao Guannan Su Siyuan He Wanqian Li Xiaotang Wang Guoqing Wang Dali Li Peizeng Yang Shengping Hou 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,11:0
10Study on the growth of platinum nanowires as cathode catalysts in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘The platinum nanowires have been verified to be a promising catalyst to promote the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells.In this paper,accurately controlled growth of nanowires in a carbon matrix is achieved for reducing Pt loading.The effects of formic acid concentration and reaction temperature on the morphology and size of the Pt nanowires,as well as their electrochemical performances in a single cell,are investigated.The results showed that the increase in the formic acid concentration results in a volcano trend with the length of Pt nanowires.With increasing reduction temperature,the diameter of Pt nanowires increases while Pt particles evolve from one-dimensional to zero-dimensional up to 40°C.A mechanism of the Pt nanowires growth is proposed.The optimized Pt nanowires electrode exhibits a power density(based on electrochemical active surface area)79%higher than conventional Pt/C one.The control strategy obtained contributes to the design and control of novel nanostructures in nano-synthesis and catalyst applications.Ruiqing Wang Xiaolan Cao Sheng Sui Bing Li Qingfeng Li 2022Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,3:0
11Estimation of Hammerstein nonlinear systems with noises using filtering and recursive approaches for industrial control显示文摘This paper discusses a strategy for estimating Hammerstein nonlinear systems in the presence of measurement noises for industrial control by applying filtering and recursive approaches.The proposed Hammerstein nonlinear systems are made up of a neural fuzzy network(NFN)and a linear state`-space model.The estimation of parameters for Hammerstein systems can be achieved by employing hybrid signals,which consist of step signals and random signals.First,based on the characteristic that step signals do not excite static nonlinear systems,that is,the intermediate variable of the Hammerstein system is a step signal with different amplitudes from the input,the unknown intermediate variables can be replaced by inputs,solving the problem of unmeasurable intermediate variable information.In the presence of step signals,the parameters of the state-space model are estimated using the recursive extended least squares(RELS)algorithm.Moreover,to effectively deal with the interference of measurement noises,a data filtering technique is introduced,and the filtering-based RELS is formulated for estimating the NFN by employing random signals.Finally,according to the structure of the Hammerstein system,the control system is designed by eliminating the nonlinear block so that the generated system is approximately equivalent to a linear system,and it can then be easily controlled by applying a linear controller.The effectiveness and feasibility of the developed identification and control strategy are demonstrated using two industrial simulation cases.Mingguang ZHANG Feng LI Yang YU Qingfeng CAO 2024Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2024,25,2:0
12The Influence of Housing Prices on Urban Competitiveness:Review and Prospects显示文摘To examine the impact of housing prices on urban competitiveness, we first sort out the relevant literature on the compositions and performances of urban competitiveness. The internal compositions of urban competitiveness include factor endowments and industrial development. The external manifestations include market size, economic growth and productivity. Additionally,from the perspectives of urban economics and new economic geography, the theoretical basis of housing price’s impact on urban competitiveness is analyzed. On this basis, we analyze the mechanism and direction of housing price’s impact on urban competitiveness. The results show that most of the existing researches pay attention to the impact of housing prices on urban competitiveness through economic growth, industrial structure or production factors. 15Multifunctionalized carbon-fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone implant for rapid osseointegration under infected environment显示文摘Carbon fiber reinforced polyetheretherketone(CFRPEEK)possesses a similar elastic modulus to that of human cortical bone and is considered as a promising candidate to replace metallic implants.However,the bioinertness and deficiency of antibacterial activities impede its application in orthopedic and dentistry.In this work,titanium plasma immersion ion implantation(Ti-PⅢ)is applied to modify CFRPEEK,achieving unique multi-hierarchical nanostructures and active sites on the surface.Then,hybrid polydopamine(PDA)@ZnO-EDN1 nanoparticles(NPs)are introduced to construct versatile surfaces with improved osteogenic and angiogenic properties and excellent antibacterial properties.Our study established that the modified CFRPEEK presented favorable stability and cytocompatibility.Compared with bare CFRPEEK,improved osteogenic differentiation of rat mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)and vascularization of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)are found on the functionalized surface due to the zinc ions and EDN1 releasing.In vitro bacteriostasis assay confirms that hybrid PDA@ZnO NPs on the functionalized surface provided an effective antibacterial effect.Moreover,the rat infected model corroborates the enhanced antibiosis and osteointegration of the functionalized CFRPEEK.Our findings indicate that the multilevel nanostructured PDA@ZnO-EDN1 coated CFRPEEK with enhanced antibacterial,angiogenic,and osteogenic capacity has great potential as an orthopedic/dental implant material for clinical application.Xiao Wang Lisha Pan Ao Zheng Lingyan Cao Jin Wen Tingshu Su Xiangkai Zhang Qingfeng Huang Xinquan Jiang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,6:0
16Hyperbranched phthalocyanine enabling black-phase formamidinium perovskite solar cells processing and operating in humidity open air显示文摘The extreme instability of pureα-phase FAPbI_(3) under high humidity conditions restricts the highthroughput fabrication in unmodified air environments,resulting in poor performance ofα-phase FAPbI_(3) perovskite devices obtained by scalable fabrication methods.Here we synthesized hyperbranched copper phthalocyanine(HCuPc)as a supramolecular additive with twisted phthalocyanine units to realize the molecular-level encapsulation at the grain boundaries through supramolecular interaction,which greatly broadened the processing window of FAPbI_(3) under high humidity.At the same time,unlike traditional encapsulation layer that carrier can only be collected by tunneling effect,the twisted phthalocyanine ring of HCu Pc in perovskite films is more conducive to hole extraction.Finally,a record efficiency was achieved in pure FAPbI_(3) based inverted structured solar cell by blade-coating to the best of our knowledge,even under unmodified humid air conditions(relative humidity of 65%–85%).The best operational stability of 3D pure FAPbI_(3) devices can also be achieved at the same time and unencapsulated HCuPc-FAPbI_(3) device can even operate with negligible degradation for 100 h in the open air(RH 30%–40%).Rong Li Jiale Ding Xijiao Mu Yifei Kang Anran Wang Weihui Bi Yunhe Zhang Jing Cao Qingfeng Dong 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:0
17Aeromagnetic Compensation Algorithm Based on Levenberg-Marquard Neural Network显示文摘The magnetic compensation of aeromagnetic survey is an important calibration work,which has a great impact on the accuracy of measurement.In an aeromagnetic survey flight,measurement data consists of diurnal variation,aircraft maneuver interference field,and geomagnetic field.In this paper,appropriate physical features and the modular feedforward neural network(MFNN)with Levenberg-Marquard(LM)back propagation algorithm are adopted to supervised learn fluctuation of measuring signals and separate the interference magnetic field from the measurement data.LM algorithm is a kind of least square estimation algorithm of nonlinear parameters.It iteratively calculates the jacobian matrix of error performance and the adjustment value of gradient with the regularization method.LM algorithm’s computing efficiency is high and fitting error is very low.The fitting performance and the compensation accuracy of LM-MFNN algorithm are proved to be much better than those of TOLLES-LAWSON(T-L)model with the linear least square(LS)solution by fitting experiments with five different aeromagnetic surveys’data.Li LIU Qingfeng XU Hui GU Lei ZHOU Zhenfu LIU Lili CAO 2021Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2021,4,4:0
