1Natural Variation in CCD4 Promoter Underpins Species-Specific Evolution of Red Coloration in Citrus Peel显示文摘Carotenoids and apocarotenoids act as phytohormones and volatile precursors that influence plant development and confer aesthetic and nutritional value critical to consumer preference.Citrus fruits display considerable natural variation in carotenoid and apocarotenoid pigments.In this study,using an integrated genetic approach we revealed that a 5;c/s-regulatory change at CCD4b encoding CAROTENOID CLEAVAGE DIOXYGENASE 4b is a major genetic determinant of natural variation in C3 0 apocarotenoids responsible for red coloration of citrus peel.Functional analyses demonstrated that in addition the known role in synthesizing 3-citraurin,CCD4b is also responsible for the production of another important C3 0 apocarotenoid pigment,p-citraurinene.Furthermore,analyses of the CCD4b promoter and transcripts from various citrus germplasm accessions established a tight correlation between the presence of a putative 5'c/s-regulatory enhancer within an MITE transposon and the enhanced allelic expression of CCD4b in C3 0 apocarotenoid-rich red-peeled accessions.Phylogenetic analysis provided further evidence that functional diversification of CCD4b and naturally occurring variation of the CCD4b promoter resulted in the stepwise evolution of red peels in mandarins and their hybrids.Taken together,our findings provide new insights into the genetic and evolutionary basis of apocarotenoid diversity in plants,and would facilitate breeding efforts that aim to improve the nutritional and aesthetic value of citrus and perhaps other fruit crops.Xiongjie Zheng Kaijie Zhu Quan Sun Weiyi Zhang Xia Wang Hongbo Cao Meilian Tan Zongzhou Xie Yunliu Zeng Junli Ye Lijun Chai Qiang Xu Zhiyong Pan Shunyuan Xiao Paul D.Fraser Xiuxin Deng 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,9:18

5Synthesis and anticonvulsant activity of 1-substituted benzyl- N-substituted-1, 2, 3-triazole-4-formamides显示文摘Substituted benzyl azids were synthesized through the reaction of substituted benzyl chloride and sodium azid, which subsequently underwent cyclization with ethyl propiolate and amidation to give thirteen 1-substituted benzyl-N-substituted-1, 2, 3-triazole-4-formamide derivatives (3a-3m) . The structure of the synthesized compounds was confirmed by IR, 1H-NMR, MS and elemental analysis. Their ant icon vulsant activity against maximal electrolshock (MES) induced seizure was tested and the result showed that all these compounds possess anticonvulsant activity in different degrees. Among those, the compounds containing chloro atoms on the phenyl ring were less potent in anticonvulsant activity, while introducing one or two fluorin atoms on benzyl system increased its activity. 14Prosodic Modification of Chinese Speech Based on Sinusoidal Model显示文摘Modification on time scale and pitch scale of Chinese syllable based on sinusoidal model is presented in this paper. Firstly, the short term speech is decomposed into a sum of sinusoidal waves of different magnitudes and phases. Then vocal tract system and excitation are obtained using a homomophic technique. Lastly, the speech with desired time scale and pitch scale is obtained through the change of frequency and phase of excitation while the parameters of vocal tract system are changed accordingly. 16Ultrafast growth of high-quality large-sized GaSe crystals by liquid metal promoter显示文摘Growth of high-quality large-sized crystals using the traditional chemical vapor transport(CVT)or vertical Bridgman(VB)technique is costly and time-consuming,limiting its practical industrial application.Here,we propose an ultrafast crystal growth process with low energy consumption and capability of producing crystals of excellent quality,and demonstrate that large-sized GaSe crystals with a lateral size of 0.5 to 1 cm can be obtained within a short period of 5 min.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)studies clearly indicate that the as-grown crystals have a good crystallinity.To further show the potential application of the resulting GaSe crystals,we fabricate the few-layer GaSe-based photodetector,which exhibits low dark current of 21 pA and fast response of 34 ms under 405 nm illumination.Our proposed technique for rapid crystal growth could be further extended to other metallenes with low-melting point,such as Bi-,Sn-,In-,Pb-based crystals,opening up a new avenue in fulfilling diverse potential optoelectronics applications of two-dimensional(2D)crystals.Zuxin Chen Quan Chen Zebing Chai Bin Wei Jun Wang Yanping Liu Yumeng Shi Zhongchang Wang Jingbo Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:1
17Ultrasmall Nanoparticles Diluted Chain Entanglement in Polymer Nanocomposites显示文摘Nanoparticle-polymer composites exhibit unusual mechanical properties and chain dynamics when the nanoparticle size is smaller than the entanglement mesh size of the matrix polymer chains, corresponding to the ultrasmall regime defined by de Gennes.However, the mechanism is still ambiguous due to the lack of suitable model systems. Here, we develop an ultrasmall nanoparticle system by using a bimodal grafting strategy to graft both short alkyl chains and long polystyrene chains onto the polyoxometalate molecular nanoparticles with a tunable repulsive potential between the nanoparticles, thus facilitating their uniform dispersion in polystyrene matrices. Linear viscoelasticity of the resultant nanocomposites changes with increasing the filler content, which shows a decrease in both plateau modulus and terminal relaxation time, indicative of a dilution effect of the nanoparticles. 18Nanoliter liquid refractive index sensing using a silica V-groove fiber interferometer显示文摘A unique all-fiber interferometric sensor was proposed and successfully demonstrated efficient low-refractiveindex liquid sensing in the range from 1.33 to 1.37, which is compatible with those of bio-liquids.A special silica coreless optical fiber with an open V-groove was used as an optical sensing medium, which provided a high sensitivity for a minute liquid volume in the nanoliter scale.The V-groove fiber (VGF) was serially concatenated between two single-mode fibers (SMFs).The LPOi mode guided along the input SMF excited the higherorder inodes in the VGF to generate multimode interference,whose spectrum was transmitted through the output SMF. A single liquid droplet with volume of ~80 nanoliters wet the entire hydrophilic surface of the VGF, and the transmission spectra shifted corresponding to its refractive index in a very linear manner. The sensor also showed a negligible temperature cross-sensitivity in the range 25℃-75℃, which overlaps with the biological temperature window such that the sensitivity of 159.696 nm per refractive index unit(nm/RIU) remained independent of the temperature variation. 19Deformation Behaviors of an Additive-Manufactured Ni_(32)Co_(30)Cr_(10)Fe_(10)Al_(18)Eutectic High Entropy Alloy at Ambient and Elevated Temperatures显示文摘Eutectic high-entropy alloys(EHEAs)that have superior formability are attractive for direct laser deposition technology.In this study,a regular-shaped bulk Ni_(32)Co_(30)Cr_(10)Fe_(10)Al_(18)EHEA without apparent pores and micro-cracks was successfully fabricated by direct laser deposition.The as-deposited alloy showed a high tensile strength of 1.3 GPa with a ductility of 35%at ambient temperature and a tensile strength of 320 MPa at 760℃.The deformation mechanisms of the as-deposited alloy at ambient and elevated temperatures were investigated by coupling the in-situ tensile test with a scanning electron microscope.It is revealed that the excellent combination of strength and ductility originated from the synergic effects of the FCC and B2 phases in eutectic lamellae.And the generation of cracks along phase boundaries restricted its high-temperature strength above 760℃.Zishu Chai Kexuan Zhou Qingfeng Wu Zhijun Wang Quan Xu Junjie Li Jincheng Wang 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,10:0
20Degradation Dynamics of Pyrethroids in Cigarette Production Environment显示文摘[Objective] In order to provide a reference for safe and reasonable use of pyrethroids in cigarette production,the degradation behaviors of three kinds of pyrethroids in cigarette production environment were studied. [Method]Three kinds of pyrethroids( permethrin,cyfluthrin and cis-cypermethrin) were administrated to two media( cut tobacco and iron sheet surface) in cigarette production environment at MRLs concentration,and the first sampling was conducted at 24 d post administration. Afterwards,sampling was performed once every 7 d,with a total of six times. The degradation rates of insecticides in different media were calculated,and degradation models were established. [Result] The contents of three kinds of insecticides in two media gradually declined with the prolongation of time,and degradation rates presented the trend of fast-slow-fast; the degradation rates of permethrin,cyfluthrin and cis-cypermethrin in cut tobacco at 36 d post administration were 97. 14%,88. 89% and 95. 38%,respectively; the degradation rates on iron sheet surface were 29. 95%,48. 99% and 40. 24%,respectively.The half lives of three kinds of insecticides in cut tobacco were 1- 2 d,while those on iron sheet surface were 6- 10 d.
