1Preliminary Scientific Results of Chang'E-1 Lunar Orbiter:Based on Payloads Detection Data in the First Phase显示文摘Chang'E-1 lunar Orbiter was launched by Long March 3A rocket from Xichang Satel-lite Launch Center at 18:05BT(Beijing Time) Oct.24,2007.It is the first step of its ambitious three-stage moon program,a new milestone in the Chinese space exploration history.The primary science objectives of Chang'E-1 lunar orbiter are to obtain three-Dimension(3D) stereo images of the lunar surface,to analyze the distribution and abundance of elements on the surface,to investigate the thickness of lunar soil,evaluate helium-3 resources and other characteristics,and to detect the space environment around the moon.To achieve the above four mission objectives,eight sets of scientific instruments are chosen as the payloads of the lunar orbiter,including a CCD stereo camera(CCD),a Sagnac-based interferometer spectrometer(ⅡM),a Laser Altimeter(LAM),a Microwave Radiometer(MRM),a Gamma-Ray Spectrometer(GRS),an X-ray spectrometer(XRS),a High-Energy Particle Detector(HPD),and two Solar Wind Ion Detectors(SWID).The detected data of the payloads show that all payloads work well.This paper introduces the status of payloads in the first phase and preliminary scientific results.OUYANG Ziyuan JIANG Jingshan LI Chunlai SUN Huixian ZOU Yongliao LIU Jianzhong LIU Jianjun ZHAO Baochang REN Xin YANG Jianfeng ZHANG Wenxi WANG Jianyu MOU Lingli CHANG Jin ZHANG Liyan WANG Huanyu LI Yongquan ZHANG Xiaohui ZHENG Yongchun WANG Shijin BIAN Wei 2008空间科学学报2008,28,5:24

5Clinical applications of MARSALA for preimplantation genetic diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy显示文摘Conventional PCR methods combined with linkage analysis based on short tandem repeats(STRs) or Karyomapping with single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) arrays, have been applied to preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD) for spinal muscular atrophy(SMA), an autosome recessive disorder. However, it has limitations in SMA diagnosis by Karyomapping, and these methods are unable to distinguish wildtype embryos with carriers effectively. Mutated allele revealed by sequencing with aneuploidy and linkage analyses(MARSALA) is a new method allowing embryo selection by a one-step next-generation sequencing(NGS) procedure, which has been applied in PGD for both autosome dominant and X-linked diseases in our group previously. In this study, we carried out PGD based on MARSALA for two carrier families with SMA affected children. As a result, one of the couples has given birth to a healthy baby free of mutations in SMA-causing gene. It is the first time that MARSALA was applied to PGD for SMA, and we can distinguish the embryos with heterozygous deletion(carriers) from the wild-type(normal) ones accurately through this NGS-based method. In addition, direct mutation detection allows us to identify the affected embryos(homozygous deletion), which can be regarded as probands for linkage analysis, in case that the affected family member is absent. 7Prognostic implications of epidermal growth factor receptor variant Ⅲ expression and nuclear translocation in Chinese human gliomas显示文摘Objective: To determine the prognostic implications and clinical significance of epidermal growth factor receptor variant Ⅲ(EGFRvⅢ) expression and EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation in Chinese human gliomas.Methods: We retrospectively examined EGFRvⅢ expression and EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation using immunohistochemistry in specimens of 240 Chinese patients with glioma, including 84 World Health Organization(WHO) II gliomas, 84 WHO Ⅲ gliomas and 72 glioblastomas(WHO IV). Factors that correlated with EGFRvⅢ and EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation expression were analyzed by the Chi-square test. Kaplan-Meier methodology and Cox regression were used for the survival analysis.Results: Log-rank tests showed that patient age, Karnofsky performance scale(KPS) score, tumor grade,EGFRvⅢ expression, EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation, 1 p/19 q codeletion, isocitrate dehydrogenase(IDH)mutation, Ki-67 labeling index and O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase(MGMT) status(P<0.05) were significantly correlated with overall survival(OS) time. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that patient age, tumor grade, EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation, 1 p/19 q codeletion, and IDH mutation(P<0.05) were significantly correlated with OS. Patients with a high level of EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation(≥7%) had both significantly shorter OS [hazard ratio(HR): 1.920, 95% confidence interval(95% CI): 1.228-3.003, P=0.004] and progression-free survival(PFS) times(HR: 1.661, 95% CI: 1.116-2.471, P=0.012) than those with a low level of EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation(<7%).Conclusions: A high level of EGFRvⅢ nuclear translocation in glioma is an independent factor indicating a poor prognosis, but EGFRvⅢ expression is not an independent clinical prognostic factor. 9Comparison of viral RNA-host protein interactomes across pathogenic RNA viruses informs rapid antiviral drug discovery for SARS-CoV-2显示文摘In contrast to the extensive research about viral protein–host protein interactions that has revealed major insights about how RNA viruses engage with host cells during infection,few studies have examined interactions between host factors and viral RNAs(vRNAs).Here,we profiled vRNA–host protein interactomes for three RNA virus pathogens(SARS-CoV-2,Zika,and Ebola viruses)using ChIRP-MS.Comparative interactome analyses discovered both common and virus-specific host responses and vRNA-associated proteins that variously promote or restrict viral infection.In particular,SARS-CoV-2 binds and hijacks the host factor IGF2BP1 to stabilize vRNA and augment viral translation.Our interactome-informed drug repurposing efforts identified several FDA-approved drugs(e.g.,Cepharanthine)as broad-spectrum antivirals in cells and hACE2 transgenic mice.A co-treatment comprising Cepharanthine and Trifluoperazine was highly potent against the newly emerged SARS-CoV-2 B.1.351 variant.Thus,our study illustrates the scientific and medical discovery utility of adopting a comparative vRNA-host protein interactome perspective.Shaojun Zhang Wenze Huang Lili Ren Xiaohui Ju Mingli Gong Jian Rao Lei Sun Pan Li Qiang Ding Jianwei Wang Qiangfeng Cliff Zhang 2022Cell Research2022,32,1:5

11A Novel Framework for Object-Based Coding and Compression of Hyperspectral Imagery显示文摘A novel object-based framework is proposed for HSI compression, where targets of interest are extracted and separately coded. With objects removed,the holes are filled with the background average to form a new but more homogenous background for better compression. An improved sparse representation with adaptive spatial support is proposed for target detection. By applying the proposed framework to 2D/3D DCT approaches,reconstructed images from conventional and proposed approaches are compared. Six criteria in three groups are employed for quantitative evaluations to measure the degree of data reduction, the distortion of reconstructed image quality and accuracy in target detection, respectively. Comprehensive experiments on two datasets are used for performance evaluation. 13Endoplasmic reticulum stress contributed to β1-adrenoceptor autoantibody-induced reduction of autophagy in cardiomyocytes显示文摘Autophagy reduction has been confirm ed as an im portant mechanism in apoptosis induction.Our previous study showed that decreased autophagy induced by Pi-adrenoceptor autoantibodies(Pi-AAs)enhanced cardiom yocyte apoptosis and contributed to heart failure progression.Endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)is known to be an im portant mechanism in intracellular homeostasis and is closely related to autophagy.However,ERS in pi-AA-induced autophagy dysfunction of cardiom yocytes remains unclear.In this study,we used an active im m unization rat model and H9c2 cardiom yocytes to study the role of ERS in Pi-AA-induced autophagy.Results showed that prolonged action of Pi-AAs significantly reduced the autophagy of myocardial tissues and H9c2 cardiom yocytes,and ERS and its related apoptotic pathways were significantly activated.Moreover,mRFP-GFP-LC3 double-labeled adenoviruses were used to detect cardiom yocyte autophagic flux to confirm that Pi-AAs caused a significant decrease in autophagic flux in H9c2 cardiom yocytes.The ERS inhibitor,4-phenylbutyrate(4-PBA),partially attenuated the β1-AA-induced reduction of cardiom yocyte autophagy,consistent w ith the effect of the m am m alian target of rapam ycin inh ibito r rapamycin(Rapa).Compared to the pretreatm ent with 4-PBA or Rapa alone,pretreatm ent w ith the com bination of 4-PBA and Rapa had a greater effect on attenuating the pi-AA-induced decrease in autophagy and Pi-AA-induced apoptosis in cardiomyocytes.This study provides an experim ental basis fo r the role of Pi-AAs in the homeostatic maintenance of cardiom yocytes in patients w ith heart failure w ith respect to autophagy and ERS.Li Wang Na Ning Changtu Wang Xiaohong Hou Yuan Yuan Yanan Ren Cong Sun Zi Yan Xiaohui Wang Huirong Liu 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,10:3

15Overexpression of angiopoietin-1 reduces doxorubicin-induced apoptosis in cardiomyocytes显示文摘Doxorubicin(Dox) is a major anticancer chemotherapeutic agent.However,it causes cardiomyopathy due to the side effect of cardiomyocyte apoptosis.We have previously reported that angiopoietin-1 significantly reduced myocardial infarction after ischemic injury and protected cardiomyocytes from oxidative stress-induced apoptosis.It is hypothesized that angiopoietin-1 may protect cardiomyocytes from Dox-induced apoptosis.Cardiomyocytes H9C2 were transfected with adenovirus expressing angiopoietin-1(Ad5-Ang-1) 24 h before the cells were challenged with Dox at a concentration of 2 μmol/L.Ad5-GFP served as the vector control.Cardiomyocyte apoptosis was evaluated using Annexin V-FITC staining and caspase-3 and caspase-8 activity was determined by Western blotting.The results showed that Dox treatment significantly induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis as evidenced by the greater number of Annexin V-FITC stained cells and increases in caspase-3 and caspase-8 activity.In contrast,overexpression of angiopoietin-1 significantly prevented Dox-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis.To elucidate the mechanisms by which angiopoietin-1 protected cells from Dox-induced apoptosis,we analyzed both extrinsic and intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathways.We observed that angiopoietin-1 prevented Dox-induced activation of both extrinsic and intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathways.Specifically,angiopoietin-1 prevented DOX-induced increases in FasL and Bax levels and cleaved caspase-3 and caspase-8 levels in H9C2 cells.In addition,overexpression of angiopoietin-1 also activated the pro-survival phosphoinositide-3 kinase(PI3K)/Akt signaling pathway and decreased Dox-induced nuclear factor-kappaB(NF-κB) activation.Our data suggest that promoting the expression of angiopoietin-1 could be a potential approach for reducing Dox-induced cardiomyocyte cytoxicity.Danyang Ren Quan Zhu Jiantao Li Tuanzhu Ha Xiaohui Wan Yuehua Li 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,6:3
16Normal, degenerated, and anomalous-dispersion-like Cerenkov sum-frequency generation in one nonlinear medium显示文摘We report on the experimental realization of Cerenkov sum-frequency generation across the material dispersion in a one-dimensional, periodically poled ferroelectric crystal. Three schemes of sum-frequency generation, confined only in the vicinity of domain walls and in the form of nonlinear Cerenkov radiation, are demonstrated in normal,degenerated, and anomalous-dispersion-like configurations. We exploit their phase-matching geometries, which exhibit a whole scenario of the evolution of Cerenkov radiation varying with the dispersion relationship among the interaction waves. 17Biochar-based Solid Acids as Catalysts for Carbohydrate Hydrolysis: A Critical Review显示文摘Recently, increasing interest has been focused on the hydrolysis of carbohydrates to monosaccharides, among which, glucose and xylose as typical platform sugars can be used to produce chemicals and biofuels. As heterogeneous catalysts, solid acids have gained extensive attention for biomass biorefinery and could replace the conventional process owing to their excellent properties, including acceptable acidity and easy separation. In particular, biochar-based solid acids derived from biomass are promising for biomass conversion owing to the low-cost of feedstocks and the simple preparation procedure. Herein, we attempt to provide a critical overview of biochar-based solid acids for hydrolysis of carbohydrates into glucose and xylose. The preparation methods and properties of biochar-based catalysts as well as the influence of their properties on catalytic performance were discussed in detail. 18Family structure and support for the oldest old:A cross-sectional study in Dujiangyan,China显示文摘Objective:In China,adult children have traditionally provided support for their aged parents.This model of care is increasingly challenged by the decline of the extended family.Recently,China’s decades-long one-child policy has eased.We examine the association of family size and composition with family support for nonagenarians and centenarians.Methods:Data were obtained through a questionnaire survey of 619 nonagenarians and cen-tenarians in Dujiangyan and were analyzed by chi-square tests,Student t tests,and multivariate logistic regression models.Results:This study revealed that an increased number of offspring might provide financial support for older people,but this does not necessarily translate into physical and emotional care.Conclusion:It is clear that although alternative sources of support for older people are in-creasingly needed,in China the family will continue to play an important role in supporting older people.Xiaohui Ren Hongdao Meng Chaojie Liu Jinhui Wu Birong Dong Ningxiu Li 2015Family Medicine and Community Health2015,3,4:2
