1“文化适应”对消费者购买行为的影响显示文摘文化是影响消费者购买行为的重要因素。本文从'文化适应'的角度研究消费者购买行为,选取语言、民族认同、文化认同以及新环境中居住时间为指标,通过Logit模型对美国西班牙裔和亚裔的四个少数民族购买民族蔬菜的行为进行了验证。结果表明,'文化适应'的语言、民族认同和文化认同指标均显著影响少数民族消费者的购买行为,其中民族认同对购买行为具有显著正影响,语言和文化认同对购买行为具有显著负影响,而在新环境中居住时间指标的影响并不显著。在此基础上,针对如何理解多民族消费者的购买行为并满足其购买需求,本文从语言、居住环境、民族认同和消费习惯等方面给出了相应的对策建议。张晶 Ramu Govindasamy 张利庠 2013经济理论与经济管理2013,33,12:16

3Studies on the effect of weld defect on the fatigue behavior of welded structures显示文摘Structural integrity isstated as the science and technology of margin between safety and disaster. Systematic prediction of structural integrity of critical structures such ascombustion chambers,pressure vessels,nuclear reactor components,boilers etc.,ensures the human safety,environmental protection,and the economical considerations.The present work aims at prediction of fatigue behaviour of symmetric structures like pressure vessels in the presence of common welding defects such as lack of fusion( LOF),lack of penetration( LOP) and porosity.A ring type specimen which replicates the stress pattern in thepressure vessel is considered for the study of severity of weld imperfections. 4Optimized design of collector topology for offshore wind farm based on ant colony optimization with multiple travelling salesman problem显示文摘A layout of the offshore wind farm(OSWF)plays a vital role in its capital cost of installation. One of the major contributions in the installation cost is electrical collector system(ECS). ECS includes: submarine cables,number of wind turbines(WTs), offshore platforms etc. By considering the above mentioned problem having an optimized design of OSWF provides the better feasibility in terms of economic considerations. This paper explains the methodology for optimized designing of ECS. The proposed methodology is based on combined elitist ant colony optimization and multiple travelling salesman problem.The objective is to minimize the length of submarine cable connected between WTs and to minimize the wake loss in the wind farm in order to reduce the cost of cable and cable power loss. 6Comparative evaluation of roundabout capacities under heterogeneous traffic conditions显示文摘In heterogeneous traffic conditions, roundabout capacity is described by vehicle and driver characteristics which are different from traffic conditions in homogeneous conditions. In the present study, the capacity of the roundabout is determined using various capacity formulas such as gap acceptance models given by Highway Capacity Manual 2010(US), German model(2001); empirical regression models given by TRRL(UK) and weaving models given by IRC: 65–1976(India). In addition,microscopic simulation model like VISSIM(PTV Germany) is also used to derive capacity values. Unlike the other capacity estimation models, VISSIM is helpful in estimating capacity values using geometric and driver characteristics and it can also simulate heterogeneous traffic condition accurately. Capacity is estimated after calibrating the simulation model(VISSIM) developed for the roundabout. This is achieved by incorporating different vehicle classes to represent the heterogeneous traffic environment, driver gap acceptance, and lane changeparameters. All the required inputs were extracted from the video using semi-automatic data collection methods. Data are used for the estimation of capacity values from different methods mentioned above and for the calibration and validation of simulation model. The capacity values estimated form various formulas except German model are distinctly different from the field values and they are either overestimating or underestimating. 7Chrysoeriol ameliorates hyperglycemia by regulating the carbohydrate metabolic enzymes in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats显示文摘The present study aimed to evaluate the effects of chrysoeriol from Cardiospermum halicacabum in streptozotocin induced Wistar rats.Thirty rats were categorized as control,diabetic control supplemented with 0,20 mg/kg chrysoeriol and 600μg/kg BW of glibenclamide for 45-day trial period.Our results indicated that the inclusion of chrysoeriol(20 mg/kg)showed a significant reduction in plasma glucose,hemoglobin and glycosylated hemoglobin level with a rising of plasma insulin sensitivity.Further,downregulated enzymes including glucose 6-phosphatase,fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase,and glycogen phosphorylase as well upregulated enzymes such as hexokinase,glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase,pyruvate kinase,and hepatic glycogen content.There was a diminish action found in liver glycogen synthase of tested rat with a rise in gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase,towards normal levels upon treatment with chrysoeriol.The histopathological study confirmed that renewal of the beta cells of pancreatic of chrysoeriol and glibenclamide treated rats.In addition,the molecular docking of chrysoeriol against glycolytic enzymes including hexokinase,glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase,pyruvate kinase,using Argus software shows chrysoeriol had greatest ligand binding energy as equivalent to glibenclamide,as a standard drug.Thus,chrysoeriol found to be non-toxic with potential regulation on glycemic control and upregulation of the carbohydrate metabolic enzymes.Baskaran Krishnan Abirami Ramu Ganesan Ravindran Balasubramani Dinh Duc Nguyen Soon Woong Chang Shaoyun Wang Jianbo Xiao Balamuralikrishnan Balasubramanian 2020Food Science and Human Wellness2020,9,4:3
