1An Ensemble Approach for Emotion Cause Detection with Event Extraction and Multi-Kernel SVMs显示文摘In this paper, we present a new challenging task for emotion analysis, namely emotion cause extraction.In this task, we focus on the detection of emotion cause a.k.a the reason or the stimulant of an emotion, rather than the regular emotion classification or emotion component extraction. Since there is no open dataset for this task available, we first designed and annotated an emotion cause dataset which follows the scheme of W3 C Emotion Markup Language. We then present an emotion cause detection method by using event extraction framework,where a tree structure-based representation method is used to represent the events. Since the distribution of events is imbalanced in the training data, we propose an under-sampling-based bagging algorithm to solve this problem. Even with a limited training set, the proposed approach may still extract sufficient features for analysis by a bagging of multi-kernel based SVMs method. 3Engineered neutrophil apoptotic bodies ameliorate myocardial infarction by promoting macrophage efferocytosis and inflammation resolution显示文摘Inflammatory response plays a critical role in myocardial infarction(MI)repair.The neutrophil apoptosis and subsequent macrophage ingestion can result in inflammation resolution and initiate regeneration,while the therapeutic strategy that simulates and enhances this natural process has not been established.Here,we constructed engineered neutrophil apoptotic bodies(eNABs)to simulate natural neutrophil apoptosis,which regulated inflammation response and enhanced MI repair.The eNABs were fabricated by combining natural neutrophil apoptotic body membrane which has excellent inflammation-tropism and immunoregulatory properties,and mesoporous silica nanoparticles loaded with hexyl 5-aminolevulinate hydrochloride(HAL).The eNABs actively targeted to macrophages and the encapsulated HAL simultaneously initiated the biosynthesis pathway of heme to produce anti-inflammatory bilirubin after intracellular release,thereby further enhancing the anti-inflammation effects.In in vivo studies,the eNABs efficiently modulated inflammation responses in the infarcted region to ameliorate cardiac function.This study demonstrates an effective biomimetic construction strategy to regulate macrophage functions for MI repair.Lili Bao Geng Dou Ran Tian Yajie Lv Feng Ding Siying Liu Ruifeng Zhao Lu Zhao Jun Zhou Lin Weng Yan Dong Bei Li Shiyu Liu Xin Chen Yan Jin 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:3
4Salivary microbiota may predict the presence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘The aim is to explore the predictive value of salivary bacteria for the presence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Saliva samples were obtained from 178 patients with ESCC and 101 healthy controls, and allocated to screening and verification cohorts, respectively. In the screening phase, after saliva DNA was extracted, 16S rRNA V4 regions of salivary bacteria were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with high-throughput sequencing. Highly expressed target bacteria were screened by Operational Taxonomic Units clustering, species annotation and microbial diversity assessment. In the verification phase, the expression levels of target bacteria identified in the screening phase were verified by absolute quantitative PCR (Q-PCR). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were plotted to investigate the predictive value of target salivary bacteria. LEfSe analysis revealed higher proportions of Fusobacterium, Streptococcus and Porphyromonas, and Q-PCR assay showed significantly higher numbers of Streptococcus salivarius, Fusobacterium nucleatum and Porphyromonas gingivalis in patients with ESCC, when compared with healthy controls (all P < 0.05). The areas under the ROC curves for Streptococcus salivarius, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Porphyromonas gingivalis and the combination of the three bacteria for predicting patients with ESCC were 69%, 56.5%, 61.8% and 76.4%, respectively. The sensitivities corresponding to cutoff value were 69.3%, 22.7%, 35.2% and 86.4%, respectively, and the matched specificity were 78.4%, 96.1%, 90.2% and 58.8%, respectively. 8Alleviating experimental pulmonary hypertension via co-delivering FoxO1 stimulus and apoptosis activator to hyperproliferating pulmonary arteries显示文摘Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is an insidious pulmonary vasculopathy with high mortality and morbidity and its underlying pathogenesis is still poorly delineated.The hyperproliferation and apoptosis resistance of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)contributes to pulmonary vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension,which is closely linked to the downregulation of forkhead box transcriptional factor O1(FoxO1)and apoptotic protein caspase 3(Cas-3).Here,PA-targeted co-delivery of a FoxO1 stimulus(paclitaxel,PTX)and Cas-3 was exploited to alleviate monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension.The co-delivery system is prepared by loading the active protein on paclitaxel-crystal nanoparticles,followed by a glucuronic acid coating to target the glucose transporter-1 on the PASMCs.The co-loaded system(170 nm)circulates in the blood over time,accumulates in the lung,effectively targets the PAs,and profoundly regresses the remodeling of pulmonary arteries and improves hemodynamics,leading to a decrease in pulmonary arterial pressure and Fulton's index.Our mechanistic studies suggest that the targeted co-delivery system alleviates experimental pulmonary hypertension primarily via the regression of PASMC proliferation by inhibiting cell cycle progression and promoting apoptosis.Taken together,this targeted co-delivery approach offers a promising avenue to target PAs and cure the intractable vasculopathy in pulmonary hypertension.Bingbing Li Chao Teng Huiling Yu Xiaohong Jiang Xuyang Xing Qi Jiang Chenshi Lin Zongmin Zhao Ruifeng Zhang Wei He 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6:1

12Discharge rate consistency of each channel for UAV-based pneumatic granular fertilizer spreader显示文摘Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are widely being used to spread granular fertilizer in China.Granular fertilizer spreaders equipped with UAVs are mainly centrifugal disc-type and pneumatic.The multichannel pneumatic granular fertilizer spreaders(MPGFSs)have a banded fertilizer deposition distribution pattern,which are more suitable for variable rate fertilization with high precision requirement than the circular deposition distribution pattern of disc-type granular fertilizer spreaders(DGFSs).However,the existing MPGFS has the disadvantage of inconsistent discharge rate of each channel,which affects the uniformity of fertilization.In order to explore the causes of inconsistent discharge rate of each channel,the discrete element method(DEM)and bench test were performed to analysis the discharge process of the fluted roller fertilizing apparatus and distribution of fertilizer in axial direction of fluted roller.The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)was used to simulate the airflow field of pneumatic system to analyze the influence of airflow on the movement of fertilizer particles.The simulation results of the discharge process of the fluted roller fertilizing apparatus showed that the filling velocity at the axial ends of the fluted roller fertilizing apparatus was lower than that of the middle.The reason was that the filling capacity was weak near the wall.The simulated results of the airflow field without partitions showed that the airflow provided by the axial flow fan was rotational,and this caused the particles to move irregularly in the throat,resulting in inconsistency discharge rate of each channel.Based on the analysis of reasons of inconsistent discharge rate of each channel,a MPGFS with partitions in the throat was developed.The discharge rate bench tests were carried out to optimize the partition spacing parameters,and fertilization test was performed to test the performance of the improved MPGFS.The discharge rate test results showed better consistency with partition.The coefficient of variation(CV)of the discharge rate of each channel was 20.16%without the partition and 7.70%with the optimal partition.The fertilizer spreading uniformity bench test results shown that the CV of spreading uniformity of MPGFS without partitions was 15.32%,and that MPGFS with partitions was 8.69%.The partitions design was beneficial to improve the consistency of each channel discharge rate and the uniformity of fertilization.The finding can provide a strong reference to design the MPGFS.Xunwei Wang Rui Jiang Zhiyan Zhou Cancan Song Xiwen Luo Ruifeng Bao Zichen Lyu Junhao Huang Jianqin Lin 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,4:1

15Integrative Analysis of Genome,3D Genome,and Transcriptome Alterations of Clinical Lung Cancer Samples显示文摘Genomic studies of cancer cell alterations,such as mutations,copy number variations(CNVs),and translocations,greatly promote our understanding of the genesis and development of cancers.However,the 3D genome architecture of cancers remains less studied due to the complexity of cancer genomes and technical difficulties.To explore the 3D genome structure in clinical lung cancer,we performed Hi-C experiments using paired normal and tumor cells harvested from patients with lung cancer,combining with RNA sequenceing analysis.We demonstrated the feasibility of studying 3D genome of clinical lung cancer samples with a small number of cells(1×10^(4)),compared the genome architecture between clinical samples and cell lines of lung cancer,and identified conserved and changed spatial chromatin structures between normal and cancer samples.We also showed that Hi-C data can be used to infer CNVs and point mutations in cancer.By integrating those different types of cancer alterations,we showed significant associations between CNVs,3D genome,and gene expression.We propose that 3D genome mediates the effects of cancer genomic alterations on gene expression through altering regulatory chromatin structures.Our study highlights the importance of analyzing 3D genomes of clinical cancer samples in addition to cancer cell lines and provides an integrative genomic analysis pipeline for future larger-scale studies in lung cancer and other cancers.Tingting Li Ruifeng Li Xuan Dong Lin Shi Miao Lin Ting Peng Pengze Wu Yuting Liu Xiaoting Li Xuheng He Xu Han Bin Kang Yinan Wang Zhiheng Liu Qing Chen Yue Shen Mingxiang Feng Xiangdong Wang Duojiao Wu Jian Wang Cheng Li 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,5:1

19Biodegradable porous Zn-1Mg-3βTCP scaffold for bone defect repair:In vitro and in vivo evaluation显示文摘Zn-based materials are promising as bone repair materials,but their poor mechanical property and bioactivity as well as low degradation rate render the potential application.Rational structural and material design can address the concerns.In this study,porous Zn-1 wt.%Mg-3 vol.%β-TCP scaffolds with 40%and 60%preset porosities were fabricated via heating-press sintering using NaCl particles as space holders,and their mechanical properties,in vitro degradation behavior,cytotoxicity and in vivo osteogenic activities were evaluated.The results showed that the actual porosities of the scaffolds were 22%and 50%.Mg exists in the form of Zn 2 Mg and Zn 11 Mg 2,whileβ-TCP evenly distributed in the matrix.The compressive yield strength of scaffolds ranges from approximately 58.46 to 71.04 MPa,which is close to that of cancellous bone.The in vitro degradation tests showed that the corrosion rate of the scaffolds was in the range of about 2.73-4.28 mm y^(-1).Moreover,the scaffolds not only provided great space for osteoblasts adhesion and proliferation in vitro but also possessed favorable degradability and osteogenic activity in vivo.The porous Zn-1 wt.%Mg-3 vol.%β-TCP scaffolds manifest reliable mechanical properties,desirable degradability,and osteogenic activity,which are promising as next-generation bone repair materials.Runhua Yao Hui Wang Ruifeng Shan Lin Liu Yuyu Zhao Yonghua Sun Xiaohong Yao Di Huang Ruiqiang Hang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,31:0
20Synergy of I-Cl co-occupation on halogen-rich argyrodites and resultant dual-layer interface for advanced all-solid-state Li metal batteries显示文摘The(electro)chemical stability and Li dendrite suppression capability of sulfide solid electrolytes(SEs)need further improvement for developing all-solid-state Li batteries(ASSLBs).Here,we report advanced halogen-rich argyrodites via I and Cl co-occupation on the crystal lattice.Notably,a proper I content forms a single phase,whereas an excessive I causes precipitation of two argyrodite phases like a superlattice structure.The resultant synergistic effect of the optimized composition allows to gain high ionic conductivities at room temperature and-20℃,and enhances the(electro)chemical stability against Li and Li dendrite suppression capability.The Li|argyrodite interface is very sensitive to the ratio of I and Cl.A LiCl-and LiI-rich double-layer interface is observed from the cell using the SE with optimized composition,whereas too high I content forms only a single interface layer with a mixture of Lil and LiCl.This double-layer interface is found to effectively mitigate the Li/SE reaction.The proper designed argyrodite enables ASSLBs to achieve good electrochemical properties at a broad temperature range regardless of the electrode materials.This co-occupation strategy provides a novel exploration for advanced halogen-rich argyrodite system.Han Yan Ruifeng Song Ruonan Xu Shulin Li Qiaoquan Lin Xinlin Yan Zhenyu Wang Chuang Yu Long Zhang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11:0
