1p16 gene methylation in colorectal cancers associated with Duke's staging显示文摘AIM To explore the association of methylation of the CpG island in the promotor of the p16 tumor suppressor gene with the clinicopathological characteristics of the colorectal cancers.``METHODS Methylation-specific PCR (MSP) was used to detect p16 methylation of 62 sporadic colorectal cancer specimens.``RESULTS pi6 methylation was detected in 42% of the tumors. 2Preparation and characterization of chitosan porous microcarriers for hepatocyte culture显示文摘BACKGROUND: The bioartificial liver (BAL) is considered a possible alternative method for treating liver failure. The core of the BAL system is culturing liver cells in vitro with high density and activity. Microcarrier culture is a mode of high-density culture. We set out to prepare a novel porous microcarrier to improve the activity of liver cells in vitro. METHODS: Chitosan was used to prepare a novel porous spherical microcarrier with interconnected structure. The chitosan porous microcarriers (CPMs) were modified with gelatin to improve their biocompatibility. CPMs were co-cultured with liver cells, HL-7702 (L-02), to evaluate their effect on cell culture. RESULTS: The average size of the CPMs was about 400 μm in diameter and their apertures were less than 30 μm. The pores of the microcarrier were interconnected. After fixation by sodium tripolyphosphate, the structure of the first freeze-dried CPMs was stable. To further improve the biocompatibility, the surface of CPMs was modified with gelatin through chemical crosslinking (GM-CPMs). Comparing the proliferation curves of L-02 cells cultured on simple CPMs, GM-CPMs and tissue culture polystyrene (TCPS, a mode of planar cell culture), the proliferation rates were similar in the first 5 days and the cells proliferated until day 8 in culture with microcarriers. The OD value of liver cells cultured on GM-CPMs was 1.97-fold higher than that on TCPS culture at day 8. Levels of urea and albumin in supernatants of cells cultured on GM-CPMs increased steadily for 8 days, and were clearly higher than those of cells cultured on TCPS (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The novel CPMs were promising microcarriers for hepatocyte culture and the GM-CPM seemed better. 3Color Doppler ultrasonographic assessment of the risk of injury to major branch of the midddle hepatic vein during laparoscopic cholecystectomy显示文摘OBJEGTIVE: To investigate the causes of hemorrhage from the gallbladder bed during laparoscopiccholecystectomy.METHODS: 617 patients who had received laparoscopic cholecystectomy from September, 2000 to March,2001 at this hospital were reviewed retrospectively. Ninety-one of these patients were selected randomly forprospective observation. Color Doppler ultrasound was used to examine the cause of venous hemorrhage fromthe gallbladder bed during laparoscopic cholecystectomy and to examine the anatomic relationship betweenthe gallbladder bed and the branches of the middle hepatic vein in 91 patients preoperatively.RESULTS: A large branch of the middle hepatic vein extended closely behind the gallbladder bed in all91 patients. The mean distance between the closest point (C point) of this branch to the gallbladderbed was 5.0±4.6 mm. The branch of the middle hepatic vein was completely adherent to the gallbladderbed in 14 (15.38%) of the 91 patients. The distance between this branch and the gallbladder bed waswithin I mm in 10 (10.99%) of the 91 patients. The inside diameter at C point of this branch was3.2±1.1 mm. The C point was found on the left side of the longitudinal axis of the gallbladder in 31(34.66%) of the 91 patients, on the right side in 39 patients (42.86%), just on the axis in 21 patients(23.08%). The venous blood flow rate at the C point was 9.9±3.3 cm/s.CONCLUSIONS: A large branch of the middle hepatic vein passes behind the gallbladder. The insidediameter of this branch is relatively larger. The bleeding of this branch during operation can only bestopped by transfixion. The closest point of this vein to the gallbladder is mostly situated on the rightside of the longitudinal axis of the gallbladder. 4A potential red-emitting phosphor Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+):Luminescence properties,thermal stability and applications for white LEDs显示文摘A novel red-emitting phosphor tantalate Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction.The purity and surface morphology of the phosphors were characterized.The Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)phosphors show a sharp emission peak at 612 nm under near-ultraviolet(n-UV) at 395 nm because of the ^(5)D0→^(7)F_(2) transition of Eu^(3+).The optimal Eu^(3+)doping concentration in Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) is 40 mol% and the critical energy-transfer distance of Eu^(3+)ions was calculated to be 0.9 nm.The emission spectra of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu_(3+)from 300 to 480 K were investigated.The thermal-quenching temperature(T_(0.5)) of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)is above 480 K.The color purity of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)is as high as 99.8%.The luminescence lifetime of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)was also discussed.The high color purity and high thermal stability of Eu^(3+)-doped Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) phosphors contribute to its application value in white lightemitting diodes(w-LEDs).Ka Ding Siru A Shuo Pang Leyan Shan Yaqi Zhang Pengfei Sun Bin Deng Ruijin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7:4
5Photoluminescence properties and thermal stability of Eu^(3+)-activated La_(7)Ta_(3)W_(4)O_(30) red-emitting phosphors for near-UV-excited w-LEDs显示文摘Novel trivalent europium(Eu^(3+))-activated La_(7)Ta_(3)W_(4)O_(30):xEu^(3+)(x=0.5 mol%-40 mol%) red-emitting phosphors were synthesized by means of a high-temperature solid-state reaction.The structure,morphology,photoluminescence,thermal-stability properties,lifetime,and color-rendering of the prepared phosphors were investigated in detail.The La_(7)Ta_(3)W_(4)O_(30):Eu^(3+) phosphors show five emission peaks under near-ultraviolet(n-UV) at 397 nm,and these peaks are ascribed to the transitions of ^(5)D0-^(7)Fj(j=0,1,2,3 and 4) by Eu^(3+) ions.The optimal doping concentration of Eu^(3+) is 20 mol%,and the critical distance of the energy transfer between the Eu^(3+)ions was calculated to be 1.768 nm.The quenching temperature(T_(0.5)) of La_(7)Ta_(3)W_(4)O_(30):20 mol%Eu^(3+) is about 440 K.The quantum yield(QY) was measured to be 85.85%.The fabricated white-light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs) possess high color-rendering index(R_(a)) of 90,and high correlated color temperature(CCT) of 5810 K,respectively.The Commission Internationale de L’Eclairage(CIE) coordinates are(0.311,0.322).Therefore,the prepared phosphor has a promising application for w-LEDs.Yu Ren Bin Deng Ting Liang Shuang Shu Junlan Guo Shoucheng Zhao Ruijin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8:1
6Multi-site occupancies and luminescence properties of cyan-emitting Ca_(9-x)NaGd_(2/3)(PO_(4))_(7):Eu^(2+)phosphors for white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Cyan-emitting Ca_(9)NaGd_(2/3)(PO_(4))_(7):Eu^(2+)phosphors were synthesized via high temperature solid-state route.X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to verify the phase and morphology of the Ca_(9)NaGd_(2/3)(PO_(4))_(7):Eu^(2+)(CNGP:Eu^(2+))phosphors.The as-obtained phosphor exhibits a broad excitation band of 250-420 nm,which is near the ultraviolet region.An intense asymmetric cyan emission at 496 nm corresponds to the 5 d-4 f transition of Eu^(2+).The multiplesite luminescent properties of Eu^(2+)ions in CNGP benefit from versatile structure ofβ-Ca3(PO4)2 compounds.The effective energy transfer distance is 5.46 nm(through the spectral overlap calculation),validating that the resonant energy migration type is via dipole-dipole interaction mechanism.Compared to the initial one at room temperature,the luminescent intensity of CNGP:Eu^(2+)phosphor can maintain 77%as it is heated up to 420 K.A white light-emitting diode(WLED)with excellent luminesce nt properties was successfully fabricated.Moreover,the CIE chromaticity coordinates of fabricated WLED driven by changing current just change slightly.Shihua Liu Bin Deng Junhui Yang Jinhua Liu Jun Chen Fanhua Zeng Huanyou Wang Ruijin Yu Gongguo Zhang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,2:1
7Spectral properties and Judd-Ofelt analysis of novel red phosphors Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):Eu^(3+)with high color purity for white LEDs显示文摘Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):Eu^(3+)red phosphors we re successfully synthesized via high-temperature solid-state reactio n.The phase purity,particle size,and luminescence properties of obtained phosphors were measured and analyzed in detail.The Gd_(2)InSbO_(7)lattice possesses cubic structure with F_(d-3 m)(227)space group.The phosphors emit bright red emission at 628 nm under 393 nm excitation,and this phenomenon is attributed to the^(5)D0-^(7)F_(2)transition.The Judd-Ofelt parameters(Ω_(2),Ω_(4)),transition ratio,and branching ratios(β)of Eu^(3+)-doped Gd_(2)InSbO_(7)phosphor were calculated on the basis of the emission spectra and decay lifetimes.The optimal content in Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):xEu^(3+)is identified to be 15 mol%.The thermal quenching of Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):Eu^(3+)is found to be over 500 K,and its activation energy is 0.26 eV.The Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates of Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):15%Eu^(3+)are(0.629,0.371),which are close to ideal red chromaticity coordinates(0.670,0.330).The fabricated w-LED exhibits good color rendering index(Ra)(86),correlated color temperature(CCT)(6997 K),and CIE chromaticity coordinates(0.302,0.330).The obtained results demonstrate that Gd_(2)InSbO_(7):Eu^(3+)phosphors have potential applications in white LEDs.Yu Wang Baokui Zhao Bin Deng Shanshan Chen Yuanyuan Liu a Guodong Wang Ruijin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,11:1

11Synthesis and optical properties of novel double perovskite Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6):Dy^(3+),Na^(+) phosphors for white LEDs显示文摘Novel yellow-emitting phosphors of Dy^(3+)-doped double perovskite Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6) were synthesized by using a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction.The phase purity,particle morphology,size distribution,elemental composition,luminescence properties,and luminescence decay curves of the resulting products were then analyzed in detail.The Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6):Dy^(3+),Na^(+) phosphors show three emission peaks after near-ultraviolet excitation at 350 nm,which correspond to ^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(11/2),^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2),and ^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2) transitions,respectively.Among them,the strongest peak is observed at 573 nm.The best doping content of Dy^(3+)in Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6):xDy^(3+),xNa^(+) phosphors is x=5 mol%.The calculated critical distance of energy transfer between Dy^(3+) ions is 1.6 nm.Luminescence quenching is confirmed to be due to dipole-dipole interactions among Dy^(3+) ions.The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy(0.27 eV).The Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE) chromaticity coordinates of the Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6) Dy^(3+),Na^(+) phosphors are located in the yellow region.White light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs) were fabricated with a high color rendering index(R_(a)) of 88 and a good correlated color temperature(CCT) of 5440 K.All observed properties indicate that Ca_(2)MgTeO_(6):Dy^(3+),Na^(+) phosphors have potential applications in display and photonic devices.Junzhi Che Bin Deng Qinyang Song Jianxu Wang Tao Wang Shoucheng Zhao Ruijin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:1
12Preparation of Ln_(3-x)Eu_xS_4 (Ln=Ce,Pr,and Nd) ceramics by pressureless sintering显示文摘The preparation of ternary rare earth sulfides of Ln3-xEuxS4 (Ln = Ce, Pr, and Nd) ceramics was investigated, and the effect of Eu substitution on Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics was also studied. Ln3-xEuxS4 powders were synthesized by the sulfurization of their oxide powders using carbon disulfide gas. Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics were sintered by pressure-less sintering method. All pressureless sintered Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics crystallized in γ-phase. It was found that Eu substitution could improve the density of Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics. 13Physicochemical properties and antibacterial application of silver nanoparticles stabilized by whey protein isolate显示文摘Nano metal materials have been widely explored to be applied in medical,environmental,and material science.Among these nanoparticles,especially silver nanoparticles(AgNPs),have drawn increasing attention for antimicrobial applications.Most researchers are keen on the development of the biologically friendly capping reagents for the synthesis of AgNPs,instead of unfriendly organic polymers.In this study,the liquid chemical reduction method was used to synthesize AgNPs with edible whey protein isolate(WPI)as a capping reagent.These WPI-AgNPs had a broad size distribution(average diameter of 138.6 nm),and their dimensions could be readily controlled in the range of 22.5-149.6 nm by introducing different concentrations of chloride.Subsequently,it was confirmed that WPI-AgNPs were formed through two mechanisms,which were respectively reduced in situ(without the addition of NaCl)and ex situ(in presence of NaCl)to yield silver nanoparticles.The WPI-AgNPs synthesized in presence of 10 mM of NaCl as mediation reagent were stable at room temperature or 4℃ up to 3 months.Furthermore,the synthesized WPI-AgNPs had a good antibacterial activity toward pathogens including Gram-negative E.coli and Gram-positive S.aureus.The results shed light on method and capping reagent to stabilize silver nanoparticles,which highlighted the potential of WPI and chloride in metal nanoparticle synthesis.Aoqiong Zeng Beibei Wang Cheng Zhang Ruijin Yang Shuhuai Yu Wei Zhao 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:0
14HSA-MIR-203/MyD88 axis mediates the protective effect of hispidulin on LPS-induced apoptosis in a human renal tubular epithelial line,HK-2显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI),commonly occurring as complications of sepsis,cardiac surgery,and liver or kidney transplantation,is a critical care syndrome.It is well known that lipopolysaccharide(LPS)shock is a common triggering factor for AKI.This study is aimed to examine the effect of flavonoid compound hispidulin on LPS-induced AKI.For this,renal tubular epithelial cell HK-2 was treated with LPS to establish an in vitro model of AKI.The effect of hispidulin on HK-2 cell viability was examined using CCK-8 assay.Cell apoptosis was determined by TUNEL and flow cytometry.Apoptosis marker proteins were determined by using western blot.The levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines were determined by ELISA assay and qRT-PCR.The translocation of NF-κB was determined by western blot.The effect of MyD88 on the cytoprotective activities of hispidulin was examined by overexpressing MyD88 in HK-2 cells.Our results showed that hispidulin was not able to produce a cytotoxic effect on HK-2 cells at tested concentrations.However,hispidulin could protect HK-2 cells from LPS-induced cell injury.Our results also showed that hispidulin was able to attenuate LPS-induced HK-2 cell apoptosis.In addition,LPS led to an inflammatory response in HK-2 cells,evidenced by NF-κB p65 activation as well as increased expression and release of inflammatory cytokine IL-6 and TNF-α,which could be reversed by pretreatment with hispidulin.Overexpression MyD88 was found to significantly dampen the cytoprotective activities of hispidulin against LPS insult.More importantly,MyD88 was identified as a direct target of hsa-miR-203,and hispidulin was found to regulate the expression of MyD88 via upregulating hsa-miR-203.Our results showed that hispidulin attenuates LPS-induced HK-2 damage via regulating hsa-miR-203/MyD88 axis.SICONG WANG RUIJIN LIU QIUYUAN HAN KAIJIANG YU 2022BIOCELL2022,46,1:0

16Synthesis and optical properties of novel apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)yellow-emitting fluorophosphate phosphors for white LEDs显示文摘In this study,novel yellow-emitting fluorophosphate NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F phosphors doped with different concentrations of Dy^(3+)ions were first obtained via high-temperature solid-state reaction.The crystal structure,phase purity,particle morphology,photoluminescence(PL)properties,thermal stability,and luminescence decay curves of the resulting phosphors were then characterized in detail.Under the excitation of 349 nm,the three dominant peaks of the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)are centered at 480 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(15/2)),577 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(13/2)),and 662 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(11/2)).The optimal doping concentration of Dy^(3+)ions in the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:xDy^(3+)phosphors is x=5 mol%.The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy(Ea=0.32 eV).Eventually,the synthesized white lightemitting diode(w-LED)demonstrates the Commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates of(0.341,0.334),a good correlated color temperature(CCT)of 5083 K,and a high color rendering index(Ra)of 92.Revealing its potential as yellow-emitting phosphors,the feasibility of the fabricated apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)fluorophosphate phosphors was confirmed for wLEDs.Yuan Wang Guangliang Lu Yang Qiu Wen Sun Siqi Qin Yifang Lin Bin Deng Dan zhang Ruijin Yu 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,12:0

19Orange-red emitting Sr_3LaTa_3O_(12):Sm^(3+) phosphors with perovskite structure and high thermal stability for w-LEDs显示文摘A novel layered perovskite tantalate phosphor Sr_(3)LaTa_(3)O_(12):Sm^(3+)(SLTO:Sm^(3+)) with orange-red emission was obtained for the first time via the solid-phase synthetic method. The phase purity, surface morphology,element distribution and luminescent properties of the SLTO:xSm^(3+)(x= 0.01 mol%-0.30 mol%) phosphors were investigated. Under 408 nm excitation, the optimum doped SLTO:0.10Sm^(3+) phosphor emits orangered light at 598 nm with the highest emission peak(4G_(5/2)→6H_(7/2)). The critical energy transfer distance is 1.687 nm. The prepared SLTO:0.10Sm^(3+)phosphor has excellent thermal stability with temperature quenching temperature(T_(0.5)> 500 K) and high activation energy(E_(a)= 0.25 e V). Through calculation, the chromaticity coordinates of all samples are concentrated in the orange-red area, and the color purity reaches 99%. The fabricated white light-emitting diode(w-LED) has a good correlated color temperature(5132 K), a high R_(a)(89), and the CIE chromaticity coordinates(0.340, 0.327). 20Geometric and defects engineering collaboration for enhanced cascade enzymatic nanoreactors显示文摘Highly evolved multi-enzyme cascade catalytic reactions in organisms facilitate rapid transfer of substrates and efficient conversion of intermediates in the catalytic unit,thus rationalizing their efficient biocatalysis.In this study,pore-ordered mesoporous single-atom(Fe)nitrogen-doped carbon nanoreactors(Mp-Fe-CN)were designed,in which a reasonable pore size was designed as a natural enzyme trap coupled to a simulated enzyme center.A polarity-mediated strategy was developed to obtain atomically dispersed nanoporous substrates,with the finding that polarity-guided engineering of the nitrogen-ligand environment and vacancy cluster defects clearly affects nanoporous activity,accompanied by appreciable mesoporous pore size elevation.The active center and distal N atom coordination of Fe-N_(4) affect the catalytic process of the nanozyme exposed by density functional theory(DFT),determining the contribution of hybridized orbitals to electron transfer and the decisive step.A cascade nanoreactor-based domain-limited sarcosine oxidase developed for non-invasive monitoring of sarcosine levels in urine for evaluation of potential prostate carcinogenesis as a proof of concept.Based on the design of surface mesoporous channels of nanocatalytic units,a bridge was built for the interaction between nanozymes and natural enzymes to achieve cascade nanocatalysis of natural enzymatic products.Zhichao Yu Ruijin Zeng Hexiang Gong Yuan Gao Shuyun Chen Yunsen Wang Dianping Tang 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
