The flux-E_p relation within GRB060218 in comparison with typical GRB pulses显示文摘The prompt gamma-ray/X-ray emission of gamma-ray burst(GRB) 060218 was simultaneously observed by the Burst Alert Telescope(BAT) and X-ray Telescope(XRT) onboard Swift. Its peak energy of the joint νfν spectrum(Ep) clearly evolves with time from tens of keV to-1 keV,crossing both the BAT and XRT bands. The best fit yields log Ep=(4.61± 0.23)+(-1.29±0.08) log t,with a correlation coefficient of 0.98 and a chance probability of p<10-4.We derive its bolometric flux(F)in the 0.01-10 4 keV band, and find that its F-Ep relation, with a power-law index of 0.37,is much shallower than that observed in typical GRB pulses.Discussion of this shallowness is presented. | DONG Wei,LIANG EnWei & LU RuiJing Physical Science & Technology College,Guangxi University,Nanning 530004,China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,S1: | 3
Carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus stoichiometry in Japanese anchovy (Engraulis japonicus) from the Huanghai Sea, China显示文摘Generally, nutrient cycle is closely related to the element distribution in biomass and the population dynamics in ecosystems. Carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus in Japanese anchovy (Engraulis japonicus) of different body lengths from the Huanghai Sea (Yellow Sea) were determined to better understand their variability and reasons during its life history. The mean content was 45.12%, 10.12% and 2.02% for C, N and P, respectively. Significant differences in C, N and P elemental composition were found among different sizes, which could be explained by varying proportions of storage compounds in whole body fish, and varying degrees of ossification. Considering abundant resources in Japanese anchovy, it was an important P-pool in the cycle of P. Moreover, the excreted N/P ratio was significantly different in fishes of different sizes, especially at high gross growth efficiency. In the past two decades, overexploitation tended to cause smaller body length in the community structure of anchovy, which presumably changed the nutrient cycle in food webs of the Huanghai Sea. Exptrapolation of the results indicates that Japanese anchovy may be important for conveying nutrient in the Huanghai Sea. | HUANG Liang WU Ying WAN Ruijing ZHANG Jing | 2012 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,4: | 1

Transcriptional addiction in mixed lineage leukemia: new avenues for target therapies显示文摘Mixed lineage leukemia(MLL)is an aggressive and refractory blood cancer that predominantly occurs in pediatric patients and is often associated with poor prognosis and dismal outcomes. Thus far,no effective target therapy for the treatment of MLL leukemia is available.MLL leukemia is caused by the rearrangement of MLL genes at 11q23,which generates various MLL chimeric proteins that promote leukemogenesis through transcriptional misregulation of MLL target genes.Biochemical studies on MLL chimeras have identified that the most common partners exist in the superelongation complex(SEC)and DOT1L complex, which activate or sustain MLL target gene expression through processive transcription elongation. The results of these studies indicate a transcription-related mechanism for MLL leukemogenesis and maintenance. In this study,we first review the history of MLL leukemia and its related clinical features. Then,we discuss the biological functions of MLL and MLL chimeras, significant cooperating events, and transcriptional addiction mechanisms in MLL leukemia with an emphasis on potential and rational therapy development.Collectively,we believe that targeting the transcriptional addiction mediated by SEC and the DOT1L complex will provide new avenues for target therapies in MLL leukemia and serve as a novel paradigm for targeting transcriptional addiction in other cancers. | Ruijing Xiao Honghong Wang Kaiwei Liang | 2019 | Blood Science2019,1,1: | 1
Luminosity-peak energy relation in the decay phases of gamma-ray burst pulses显示文摘Using time-resolved spectral data for a sample of 30 pulses in 27 bright GRBs detected with CGRO/BATSE, we investigate the luminosity-peak energy relation (L-E p relation) in the decay phases of these pulses. A tight L-E p relation is found for most of the pulses, but its power law index is various among pulses, which is normally distributed at 1.84±0.60(1σ) for the pulses in our sample, roughly consistent with the L-E p relation within a GRB and the isotropic gamma-ray energy-E p relation among GRBs. The large scatter of the power law index cannot be explained with both the statistical or observational effects and it may be an intrinsic feature, indicating that no universal L-E p relation would be expected among GRBs/pulses. This may strongly weaken the cosmological use of this relation. | LU RuiJing & LIANG EnWei Physical Science & Technology College, Guangxi University, Nanning 530004, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1: | 1

Fate of organophosphate esters from the Northwestern Pacific to the Southern Ocean:Occurrence, distribution, and fugacity model simulation显示文摘Eleven organophosphate esters(OPEs)in the air and seawater were investigated from the northwestern Pacific Ocean to the Southern Ocean during the 2018 Chinese 34th Antarctic Scientific Expedition. The concentration of total OPEs ranged from 164.82 to 3501.79 pg/m~3in air and from 4.54 to 70.09 ng/L in seawater. Two halogenated OPEs,tri(chloropropyl)phosphate(TCPP)and tri(2-chloroethyl)phosphate(TCEP),were generally more abundant than the non-halogenated OPEs.A levelⅢfugacity model was developed to simulate the transfer and fate of seven OPEs in the air and seawater regions of the central Ross Sea.The model results indicate that OPEs are transferred from the air to the seawater in the central Ross Sea in summer, during which the Ross Sea acts as a final OPE sink.Dry and wet deposition dominated the processes involving OPE transfer to seawater. The OPE degradation process was also found to be more pervasive in the atmosphere than in the seawater region. These findings highlights the importance of long-range transport of OPEs and their air–seawater interface behavior in the Antarctic. | Tengda Shi Ruijing Li Jie Fu Chao Hou Hui Gao Guanjie Cheng Haibo Zhang Shuaichen Jin Liang Kong Guangshui Na | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 0
Hepatic retinaldehyde deficiency is involved in diabetes deterioration by enhancing PCK1-and G6PC-mediated gluconeogenesis显示文摘Type 2 diabetes(T2D) is often accompanied with an induction of retinaldehyde dehydrogenase 1(RALDH1 or ALDH1A1) expression and a consequent decrease in hepatic retinaldehyde(Rald)levels. However, the role of hepatic Rald deficiency in T2D progression remains unclear. In this study, we demonstrated that reversing T2D-mediated hepatic Rald deficiency by Rald or citral treatments, or liverspecific Raldh1 silencing substantially lowered fasting glycemia levels, inhibited hepatic glucogenesis, and downregulated phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1) and glucose-6-phosphatase(G6PC)expression in diabetic db/db mice. Fasting glycemia and Pck1/G6pc mRNA expression levels were strongly negatively correlated with hepatic Rald levels, indicating the involvement of hepatic Rald depletion in T2D deterioration. A similar result that liver-specific Raldh1 silencing improved glucose metabolism was also observed in high-fat diet-fed mice. In primary human hepatocytes and oleic acidtreated HepG2 cells, Rald or Rald + RALDH1 silencing resulted in decreased glucose production and downregulated PCK1/G6PC mRNA and protein expression. Mechanistically, Rald downregulated direct repeat 1-mediated PCK1 and G6PC expression by antagonizing retinoid X receptor a, as confirmed by luciferase reporter assays and molecular docking. These results highlight the link between hepatic Rald deficiency, glucose dyshomeostasis, and the progression of T2D, whilst also suggesting RALDH1 as a potential therapeutic target for T2D. | Hanyu Yang Mengxiang Su Ming Liu Yun Sheng Liang Zhu Lu Yang Ruijing Mu Jianjun Zou Xiaodong Liu Li Liu | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9: | 0
Click CAR-T cell engineering for robustly boosting cell immunotherapy in blood and subcutaneous xenograft tumor显示文摘The adoptive transfer of chimeric antigen receptor-T(CAR-T)cells has shown remarkable clinical responses in hematologic malignancies. However, unsatisfactory curative results and side effects for tumor treatment are still unsolved problems.Herein we develop a click CAR-T cell engineering strategy via cell glycometabolic labeling for robustly boosting their antitumor effects and safety in vivo.Briefly, paired chemical groups(N3/BCN)are separately incorporated into CAR-T cell and tumor via nondestructive intrinsic glycometabolism of exogenous Ac4GalNAz and Ac4ManNBCN,serving as an artificial ligand-receptor.Functional groups anchored on cell surface strengthen the interaction of CAR-T cell and tumor via bioorthogonal click chemistry, further enhancing specific recognition, migration and selective antitumor effects of CAR-T cells. In vivo, click CAR-T cell completely removes lymphoma cells and minimizes off-target toxicity via selective and efficient bioorthogonal targeting in blood cancer.Surprisingly, compared to unlabeled cells, artificial bioorthogonal targeting significantly promotes the accumulation, deep penetration and homing of CAR-T cells into tumor tissues, ultimately improving its curative effect for solid tumor.Click CAR-T cell engineering robustly boosts selective recognition and antitumor capabilities of CAR T cells in vitro and in vivo, thereby holding a great potential for effective clinical cell immunotherapy with avoiding adverse events in patients. | Hong Pan Wenjun Li Ze Chen Yingmei Luo Wei He Mengmeng Wang Xiaofan Tang Huamei He Lanlan Liu Mingbin Zheng Xin Jiang Ting Yin Ruijing Liang Yifan Ma Lintao Cai | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,4: | 0
