| 1 | Generation of 33 fs pulses directly from a Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:CaYAlO4 laser显示文摘We experimentally demonstrated a diode-pumped Kerr-lens mode-locked femtosecond laser with a Yb:CaYAlO4 crystal as the gain medium. Pulse duration as short as 33 fs was obtained directly from the oscillator at a repetition rate of 115 MHz. The central wavelength was at 1059 nm with a spectral bandwidth of 49 nm. | 2 | Bismuth nanosheets as a Q-switcher for a mid-infrared erbium-doped SrF_2 laser显示文摘Bismuth nanosheets(Bi-NSs) were successfully prepared and employed as saturable absorbers to generate a diodepumped dual-wavelength Er^(3+):SrF_2 laser in the mid-infrared region. Q-switched pulses with a maximum output power of 0.226 W were obtained at an absorbed pump power of 1.97 W. A repetition rate of 56.20 kHz and a minimum pulse duration of 980 ns were achieved. To the best of our knowledge, we present the first application of Bi-NSs in a mid-infrared all-solid-state laser. | 4 | Optical and scintillation properties of Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fibers grown by laser heated pedestal growth method显示文摘The single crystal scintillating optical fibers acting as the scintillators and light conductors show potential application in scintillating fiber array detectors with high spatial resolution.In this paper we report the growth of 0.2 at%Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fiber.The crystalline phase,surface morphology of the axialsection and cro ss-section,optical and scintillation properties of the as-grown fiber were investigated.The Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) single crystal fiber has a pure YAG phase,a uniform distribution of cerium in the axialsection and cross-section surface.Emission spectrum is composed of broad bands ranging from 440 to700 nm.In addition,the single crystal fiber has a high light yield of 26115±2000 photons/MeV,low energy resolution of 9.44%@662 keV and decay time of a fast component of 78 ns and a slow component of 301 ns.The intensity ratio of fast to slow components is roughly 8:1. | Xibin Wang Yun Dai Zhonghan Zhang Liangbi Su Huamin Kou Yangxiao Wang Anhua Wu | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12: | 2 |
| 5 | Natural variation of H3K27me3 modification in two Arabidopsis accessions and their hybrid显示文摘Histone modifications affect gene expression, but hthe mechanism and biological consequence of natural variation igin histone modifications remain unclear. Here, we generated Hgenome-wide integrated maps of H3K27me3 modification and transcriptome for Col, C24 and their F1 hybrid. A total of 1,828 genomic regions showing variation in H3K27me3 modification between Col and C24 were identified, most of which were associated with genic regions. Natural variation of H3K27me3 modification between parents could result in allelic bias of H3K27me3 in hybrids. Furthermore, we found that H3K27me3 variation between Col and C24 was negatively correlated with gene expression differences between two accessions, especially with those arising from the cis-effect. | 8 | Study on photoluminescence of thermally treated Bi_(12)GeO_(20) and Mo:Bi_(12)GeO_(20) crystals显示文摘Photoluminescence (PL) of Bi12GeO20 and Mo doped Bi12GeO20 (Mo: Bi12GeO20) crystals in visible and near-infrared (NIR) spectral regions were studied. X-ray diffraction analysis, absorption and Raman scattering spectra of these crystals were also measured. Pure Bi12GeO20 after annealing in N2 atmosphere at 450 oC and 550 °C show predominant emissions at about 745 and 1250 nm bands, while the emission peaks of Mo:Bi12GeO20 crystals untreated or after annealing in Ar at 300 °C are at around 538 and 1165 nm. The results suggest that annealing induces intrinsic luminescence of Bi in pure Bi12GeO20 at room temperature and Mo influences the luminescence centers of Bi12GeO20.
