| 1 | Relationship between the later strong gas-charging and the improvement of the reservoir capacity in deep Ordovician carbonate reservoir in Tazhong area, Tarim Basin显示文摘Some large-scale oil-gas fields have recently been discovered in marine carbonate in China, especially the significant discoveries in deep reservoir that reveals a favorable exploration prospect. Tazhong area is the first-order tectonic unit in Tarim Basin, where there are nearly trillion cubic meters of natural gas resources in the Ordovician limestone reef flat complex in Lianglitage Formation. The reservoir is shelf edge reef flat complex, characterized by ultra-low porosity, low permeability and strong heterogeneous, with a current burial depth of 4500―6500 m. Studies find that the formation and distribution of deep reservoir of the Lianglitage Formation were controlled not only by the early high-energy sedimentary facies and corrosion, but the fracture network formed by the strong gas-charging process since the Himalayan epoch, which played an important role in optimizing and improving reservoir properties. | 2 | Symbiosis of Marshes and Permafrost in Da and Xiao Hinggan Mountains in Northeastern China显示文摘Recently,the degradation of permafrost and marsh environments in the Da and Xiao Hinggan Mountains has become a great concern as more human activities and pronounced climate warming were observed during the past 30 years and projected for the near future.The distribution patterns and development mechanisms of the permafrost and marshes have been examined both in theories and in field observations,in order to better understand the symbiosis of permafrost and marshes.The permafrost and marshes in the Da and Xiao Hinggan Mountains display discernible zonations in latitude and elevation.The marsh vegetation canopy,litter and peat soil have good thermal insulation properties for the underlying permafrost,resulting in a thermal offset of 3℃ to 4℃ and subsequently suppressing soil temperature.In addition,the much higher thermal conductivity of frozen and ice-rich peat in the active layer is condu-cive to the development or in favor of the protection of permafrost due to the semi-conductor properties of the soils overlying the permafrost.On the other hand,because permafrost is almost impervious,the osmosis of water in marsh soils can be effectively reduced,timely providing water supplies for helophytes growth or germination in spring.In the Da and Xiao Hinggan Mountains,the permafrost degradation has been accelerating due to the marked climate warming,ever increasing human activities,and the resultant eco-environmental changes.Since the permafrost and marsh envi-ronments are symbiotic and interdependent,they need to be managed or protected in a well-coordinated and integrated way. | JIN Huijun SUN Guangyou YU Shaopeng JIN Rui HE Ruixia | 2008 | Chinese Geographical Science2008,18,1: | 13 |
| 3 | Comparison of labeling methods and time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death in mice显示文摘BACKGROUND:Various molecular mechanisms of cell death following traumatic brain injury have been previously described.However,the time course of cell death remains unclear.TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B labeling have been widely used to label apoptotic cells and neuronal degeneration.Propidium iodide (PI) functions as a biomarker of cell death in vivo.OBJECTIVE:To explore the role of PI labeling compared to TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B staining for detecting neural cell death,and to observe time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death in mice.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Aging and Nervous Diseases,Soochow University from September 2007 to December 2008.MATERIALS:PI (B1221) was purchased from Sigma,USA.TUNEL kit was purchased from Roche Molecular Biochemicals,USA.Fluoro-Jade B was purchased from Chemicon,USA.METHODS:A total of 70 healthy,male,Kunming mice were randomly assigned to sham-surgery (n=5) and model (n=65) groups.Traumatic brain injury was established using the controlled cortical impact method.PI was intraperitoneally injected at 1 hour prior to animal sacrifice.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:TUNEL,Fluoro-Jade B,and PI-positive cells were quantified using a double-labeling method to determine the time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death.RESULTS:PI labeled cells in an earlier phase of cell death than TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B labeling.PI-positive cells were observed immediately following injury,and the numbers rapidly increased in injured brain areas at 1 hour,peaked at 24-48 hours,and subsequently decreased at 3-21 days post-injury.TUNEL-labeled cells were significantly increased at 12 hours,while Fluoro-Jade B-labeled cells were increased at 6 hours after injury,with cells still visible at 6-48 hours post-injury.Moreover,a greater number of PI-positive cells were observed compared to TUNEL-and Fluoro-Jade B-labeled cells.CONCLUSION:PI labeling is more sensitive and reliable than TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B staining for detecting cell death following traumatic brain injury.Moreover,PI labeling can function as a reliable marker to estimate the entire time course of cell death. | Chengliang Luo Xiping Chen Hong Ni Qianqian Li Rui Yang Yuxia Sun Guangyou Zhu Luyang Tao | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,9: | 6 |

| 10 | Discovery of Precambrian thick black mudstones and its implication for hydrocarbon exploration in the southwest Tarim Basin显示文摘Due to deep burial of Precambrian in Tarim Basin,no breakthrough in the hydrocarbon exploration has been achieved from these strata,and development of high-quality source rocks is also uncertain.More than 30 exploratory wells have been drilled in the southwest Tarim Basin and the pediment region of Kunlun Mountains with a total area of more than 100103 km2.Though some marine oil/gas fields such as Hetianhe,Bashituopu,Yubei and Luosi 2 have been discovered,the Cambrian or Ordovician source rocks have not been drilled,and hydrocarbon source still remain controversial.Recently,a set of thick black shales and mudstones has been found in the southwest Tarim Basin.The total thickness of mudstones is more than 140 m,and the total organic carbon mainly ranges from 0.6%to 1.9%with an average of 1.0%.Tmax is from 490C to 520C,equivalent to Ro from 1.99%to 2.99%.Pyrites are very rich in mudstone.According to stratigraphic contact relationship and isotopic chronology,this mudstone may have the age of more than 517 Ma,and is tentatively named as the“Western Kunlun black rock series”.Through the plate tectonic analysis,this set of thick black mudstones is possibly distributed widely in the southwest Tarim Basin,and its formation may be controlled by the aulacogen.This set of black mudstones may be an important source rocks in the southwest Tarim Basin,which suggest that the Precambrian-Cambrian strata in Tarim Basin has geological conditions for hydrocarbon accumulations.This discovery of the black thick mudstones in the southwest Tarim Basin will promote hydrocarbon exploration in the deep and ultra-deep strata of the Tarim Basin. | Guangyou Zhu Dedao Du Weiyan Chen Qisen Sun Tingting Li Zhiyao Zhang Zhiyong Chen | 2018 | Petroleum Research2018,3,2: | 1 |

| 12 | An ultra-sensitive metasurface biosensor for instant cancer detection based on terahertz spectra显示文摘Metasurface biosensors have become the core label-free and rapid-detection technology in bioanalysis.Lung cancer and brain cancer are the first leading causes of cancer death among adults and adolescents,respectively,where poor early diagnosis results from expensive detection costs and time consumption.To tackle the above problems,here,we introduce a terahertzdomain metasurface biosensor for cancer diagnosis,relying on a perfectly symmetrical periodic surface structure,which significantly exhibits polarization-insensitivity at 2.05 THz and the high-sensitivity of 504 GHz/RIU(RIU=refractive index unit).According to the frequency shifts and transmittance variations,four cell types are successfully distinguished from each other.The minimum number of cells is required for thousands of cells to display the differences of spectra,which is 1/30 of clinical methods.Furthermore,the results were consistent with pathological results(the gold standard in clinic)by Gaussian curve fitting.The proposed biosensor has really achieved the characterization of cells in normal and cancerous state.This detection strategy dramatically reduced the cost of detection by reuse and time consumption was reduced to 1/20 of the pathology testing.In addition,it is flexible to set samples and easy to realize automatic operation due to the great polarization-insensitivity of the proposed biosensor,which can further reduce labor costs in the future.It is envisioned that the proposed biosensor will present immense potential in the fields of cancer detection,distinguishing different cancers,identifying primary lesion cancer or metastatic cancer. | Peiliang Wang Jing Lou Yun Yu Lang Sun Lan Sun Guangyou Fang Chao Chang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0 |
