1Low side lobe pattern synthesis using projection method with genetic algorithm for truncated cone conformal phased arrays显示文摘A hybrid method for synthesizing antenna's three dimensional(3D) pattern is proposed to obtain the low sidelobe feature of truncated cone conformal phased arrays. In this method,the elements of truncated cone conformal phased arrays are projected to the tangent plane in one generatrix of the truncated cone. Then two dimensional(2D) Chebyshev amplitude distribution optimization is respectively used in two mutual vertical directions of the tangent plane. According to the location of the elements,the excitation current amplitude distribution of each element on the conformal structure is derived reversely, then the excitation current amplitude is further optimized by using the genetic algorithm(GA). A truncated cone problem with 8×8 elements on it, and a3 D pattern desired side lobe level(SLL) up to 35 dB, is studied. 3Output-feedback Dynamic Surface Control for a Class of Nonlinear Non-minimum Phase Systems显示文摘In this paper, an output-feedback tracking controller is proposed for a class of nonlinear non-minimum phase systems.To keep the unstable internal dynamics bounded, the method of output redefinition is applied to let the stability of the internal dynamics depend on that of redefined output, thus we only need to consider the new external dynamics rather than internal dynamics in the process of designing control law. To overcome the explosion of complexity problem in traditional backstepping design, the dynamic surface control(DSC) method is firstly used to deal with the problem of tracking control for the nonlinear non-minimum phase systems. The proposed outputfeedback DSC controller not only forces the system output to asymptotically track the desired trajectory, but also drives the unstable internal dynamics to follow its corresponding bounded and causal ideal internal dynamics, which is solved via stable system center method. 4A fast,edge-preserving,distance-regularized model with bilateral filtering for oil spill segmentation of SAR images显示文摘Marine oil spills are among the most significant sources of marine pollution.Synthetic aperture radar(SAR)has been used to improve oil spill observations because of its advantages in oil spill detection and identification.However,speckle noise,weak boundaries,and intensity inhomogeneity often exist in the oil spill regions of SAR imagery,which will seriously aff ect the accurate identification of oil spills.To enhance marine oil spill segmentation of SAR images,a fast,edge-preserving framework based on the distance-regularized level set evolution(DRLSE)model was proposed.Specifically,a bilateral filter penalty term is designed and incorporated into the DRLSE energy function(BF-DRLSE)to preserve the edges of oil spills,and an adaptive initial box boundary was selected for the DRLSE model to reduce the operation time complexity.Two sets of RadarSat-2 SAR data were used to test the proposed method.The experimental results indicate that the bilateral filtering scheme incorporated into the energy function during level set evolution improved the stability of level set evolution.Compared with other methods,the proposed improved BF-DRLSE algorithm displayed a higher overall segmentation accuracy(97.83%).In addition,using an appropriate initial box boundary for the DRLSE method accelerated the global search process,improved the accuracy of oil spill segmentation,and reduced computational time.Therefore,the results suggest that the proposed framework is eff ective and applicable for marine oil spill segmentation.Wandi WANG Hui SHENG Yanlong CHEN Shanwei LIU Jijun MAO Zhe ZENG Jianhua WAN 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:3
5Development of a hydrodynamic model and the corresponding virtual software for dual-loop circulating fluidized beds显示文摘Dual-loop circulating fluidized bed(CFB)reactors have been widely applied in industry because of their good heat and mass transfer characteristics and continuous handling ability.However,the design of such reactors is notoriously difficult owing to the poor understanding of the underlying mechanisms,meaning it has been heavily based on empiricism and stepwise experiments.Modeling the gas-solid CFB system requires a quantitative description of the multiscale heterogeneity in the sub-reactors and the strong coupling between them.This article proposed a general method for modeling multiloop CFB systems by utilizing the energy minimization multiscale(EMMS)principle.A full-loop modeling scheme was implemented by using the EMMS model and/or its extension models to compute the hydrodynamic parameters of the sub-reactors,to achieve the mass conservation and pressure balance in each circulation loop.Based on the modularization strategy,corresponding interactive simulation software was further developed to facilitate the flexible creation and fast modeling of a customized multi-loop CFB reactor.This research can be expected to provide quantitative references for the design and scale-up of gas-solid CFB reactors and lay a solid foundation for the realization of virtual process engineering.Shanwei Hu Xinhua Liu 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3:3

7Catalytic fast pyrolysis of walnut shell for alkylphenols production with nitrogen-doped activated carbon catalyst显示文摘Alkylphenols are a group of valuable phenolic compounds that can be derived from lignocellulosic biomass.In this study,three activated carbons(ACs)were prepared for catalytic fast pyrolysis(CFP)of walnut shell to produce alkylphenols,including nitrogen-doped walnut shell-derived activated carbon(N/WSAC),nitrogen-doped rice husk-derived activated carbon(N/RHAC)and walnut shell-derived activated carbon(WSAC).Pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS)experiments were carried out to reveal the influences of AC type,pyrolytic temperature,and AC-to-walnut shell(AC-to-WS)ratio on the product distributions.Results showed that with nitrogen doping,the N/WSAC possessed stronger capability than WSAC toward the alkylphenols production,and moreover,the N/WSAC also exhibited better effects than N/RHAC to prepare alkylphenols.Under the catalysis of N/WSAC,yields of alkylphenols were significantly increased,especially phenol,cresol and 4-ethylphenol.As the increase of pyrolytic temperature,the alkylphenols yield first increased and then decreased,while high selectivity could be obtained at low pyrolytic temperatures.Such a trend was also observed as the AC-to-WS ratio continuously increased.The alkylphenols production achieved a maximal yield of 44.19 mg/g with the corresponding selectivity of 34.7%at the pyrolytic temperature of 400℃and AC-to-WS ratio of 3,compared with those of only 4.67 mg/g and 6.1%without catalyst.In addition,the possible formation mechanism of alkylphenols was also proposed with the catalysis of N/WSAC.Shanwei Ma Hang Li Guan Zhang Tahir Iqbal Kai Li Qiang Lu 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,2:1
8A Textural and Mineralogical Study of the Shanzhuang Banded Iron Formation, Southeastern Margin of the North China Craton: Implications for the Overprint History of Hydrothermal Alteration and Supergenesis after Mineralization显示文摘The newly discovered Shanzhuang BIF is hosted in the Shancaoyu Formation of the Taishan Group within the Eastern Block,southeastern margin of the North China Craton.The ores can be subdivided into three types in terms of mineral assemblages,corresponding to three types(Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ).The element concentration of the type Ⅰ magnetite is similar to that of the type Ⅱ magnetite,while the type Ⅲ magnetite is similar to that of the schist.In general,magnetite and hemat ite grains from the ores show high concentrations of Mn(1317,1162 ppm),Co(787,1023 ppm),Al(2224,2435 ppm)and Ti(540,300 ppm),Whereas magnetite is depleted in Si(420 ppm)and hematite enriched in Si(1690 ppm).Detailed petrographic and mineral chemical analysis of magnetite,hematite,amphibole/hornblende and pyroxene,reveals that almost all the minerals occur as subhedral-anhedral grains with pits and fractures,and the BIF is recrystallized to metamorphic assemblages of high amphibolite facies.Hornblende is highly enriched in Fe,Mg and Ca,but depleted in K and Na,mostly belonging to magnesiohornblende.In addition,the ratios of Mg/(Mg+Fe^2+),Fe^3+/(Fe^3++Fe^2+),Si/(Si+Ti+Al)and Al/Si are 0.48-0.64,0.17-0.36,0.79-0.88 and 0.14-0.27,respectively.It is suggested that hornblende is neither a typical magmatic origin nor a typical metamorphic.Pyroxene has the characteristics of high Ca and Fe,but low Ti and Al,with end-member components En,Wo and Fs in the ranges of 25.22-28.64 wt%,43.71-46.40 wt%and 24.51-27.62 wt%,respectively,belonging to clinopyroxene,and mostly diopside,might be formed during the prograde metamorphism in the absence of H2 O.The carbonate such as dolomite-ankerite series is probably a precursor mineral of the BIF deposit.Mass mineral chemical and structural characteristics indicate that the Shanzhuang iron deposit has been subjected to varying degrees of oxidized hydrothermal superimposed reformation,metamorphism,and supergenesis after mineralization,during which some elements have been migrated in some degree.ZHANG Yan YU Xuefeng PENG Qiming LI Dapeng LI Xiaowei SHEN Kun ZHANG Shangkun SHANWei 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:1

10A SIZE-REDUCED LOG PERIODIC DIPOLE ANTENNA显示文摘A rectangle capacity patch was adopted as the resonance unit of the Log Periodic Dipole Antenna (LPDA) so as to realize the miniaturization of this aerial in this paper. Fifteen rectangle capacity patch units of different parameters were analyzed in this paper and three design laws of size-reduction were found. Accord-ing to these design laws, a 70% miniaturization ratio LPDA was designed and fabricated. The Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and pattern of the fabricated LPDA were measured. 14Performance Improvement of Single Screw Compressor by Meshing Clearance Adjustment Used in Refrigeration System显示文摘The single screw compressor(SSC)is widely used in air compression and refrigeration systems due to its many advantages.The meshing clearance between the screw groove and gate rotor teeth flank has a significant influence on the compressor performance.In this paper,mathematical calculation models describing the internal working process of the SSC are established in order to evaluate the thermal dynamic characteristics of the compressor under varying meshing clearance heights.The refrigerating capacity,volume efficiency and adiabatic efficiency of the SSC are calculated and discussed.Three prototypes,with different meshing clearance heights,were manufactured to study the internal influence mechanisms.The theoretical model was verified using experimental data and the calculation results strongly agreed with the experimental results.Results demonstrate that comparisons of volume efficiency and adiabatic efficiency between the measured and calculated results exhibited deviations of 3.64%-7.98%and 5.92%-9.4%,respectively.Based on the models,analysis under varying meshing clearance heights and working conditions was performed.Taking into account working performance,actual manufacturing conditions and manufacturing cost limitations,a meshing clearance height range from 0.01 mm to 0.08 mm is suggested.This study can provide important theoretical data and experimental support for the design,manufacturing and optimization of single screw compressors.LU Yuanwei LIU Shanwei WU Yuting LEI Biao ZHI Ruiping WEN Qiangyu MA Chongfang 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,1:1

20Design of continuous long slot leaky-wave antenna for millimeter wave application显示文摘A simple and efficient design scheme of the continuous long slot leaky-wave antenna is developed. The key steps involved in the scheme are summarized. First, the cut-off frequencies of slot waveguides with different slot offsets are obtained by 3D finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Second, the attenuation functionαra is estimated by the aperture distribution, and the attenuation functionαrs is determined by the slot radiation. Finally, the attenuation functionαra is combined with the attenuation functionαrs by the coefficient K. And an example in Ka band is presented. Moreover, the return loss of the E-plane Tee-junction (ET) and the radiation pattern of leaky-wave antenna are simulated.
