1Phylogenetic Analyses Reveal a Unique Species of Elaphe(Serpentes,Colubridae)New to Science显示文摘The snakes comprising the monophyletic group referred to as ratsnakes are found throughout Asia,Europe and the New World.Recently,three snake samples likely belonging to the ratsnakes were collected in Zoige County,Sichuan Province,China.Species identity was difficult to delimit morphologically because the specimens were juveniles and partially damaged.Subsequently,a molecular phylogenetic approach was used.Portions of three mitochondrial genes(cyt b,ND4 and 12S rRNA) were sequenced and analyzed.The results showed that they were sister to the genus Elaphe.Very little genetic variation was found among the three samples.The minimum genetic distances between these samples and those within Elaphe were greater than any currently recognized species within the genus.We conclude that this likely represents a new species within the genus Elaphe.Adult specimens and a morphologic description are needed for further study.LING Chen LIU Shaoying HUANG Song Frank T.Burbrink GUO Peng SUN Zhiyu ZHAO Jie 2010Asian Herpetological Research2010,1,2:4
2Therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘The time window in which a drug is effective varies between drugs. The present study investigated the therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in mice. Animals underwent middle cerebral artery occlusion and were injected with Qingkailing (1.5, 3, 6 mL/kg). Infarct volume and neurological function were assessed after 24 hours of ischemia. In addition, to establish the therapeutic time window, mice were injected with 3 mL/kg Qingkailing at 0, 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12 hours after occlusion. Results revealed that Qingkailing injection significantly reduced infarct volume and improved neurological function in model mice after cerebral infarction for up to 9 hours, demonstrating that the therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection can extend to 9 hours for cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in mice.Fafeng Cheng Wenting Song Xianggen Zhong Yi Lu Shaoying Guo Dong Wang Weipeng Zhao Qingguo Wang 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,21:3

4Palmprint Phenotype Feature Extraction and Classification Based on Deep Learning显示文摘Palmprints are of long practical and cultural interest.Palmprint principal lines,also called primary palmar lines,are one of the most dominant palmprint features and do not change over the lifespan.The existing methods utilize filters and edge detection operators to get the principal lines from the palm region of interest(ROI),but can not distinguish the principal lines from fine wrinkles.This paper proposes a novel deep-learning architecture to extract palmprint principal lines,which could greatly reduce the influence of fine wrinkles,and classify palmprint phenotypes further from 2D palmprint images.This architecture includes three modules,ROI extraction module(REM)using pre-trained hand key point location model,principal line extraction module(PLEM)using deep edge detection model,and phenotype classifier(PC)based on ResNet34 network.Compared with the current ROI extraction method,our extraction is competitive with a success rate of 95.2%.For principal line extraction,the similarity score between our extracted lines and ground truth palmprint lines achieves 0.813.And the proposed architecture achieves a phenotype classification accuracy of 95.7%based on our self-built palmprint dataset CAS_Palm.Fan Jinxi Li Shaoying Song Haiguo Zhang Sijia Wang Guangtao Zhai 2022Phenomics2022,2,4:1
5Tibetan Plateau Relict Snakes of the Genus Thermophis and Their Relationship to New World Relict Snakes显示文摘The complete mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2(ND2) gene sequences of two species of Thermophis, T. baileyi and T. zhaoermii, were sequenced and compared to those of 86 sequences from other snakes(74 from Caenophidia and 12 from Henophidia). By using Bayesian inference(BI) and maximum likehood(ML) approaches, Thermophis was demonstrated as the sister group to the North American relicts of Dipsadinae, and rooted in Central and South American members of this subfamily. The results suggest that the closest relatives of Thermophis are the North American relicts, and thus support the hypothesis for an Asian-North American origin of xenodontine snakes as suggested by Vidal et al.(2000). 6HierarSearch:Enhancing Performance of Search Engines by Mining Semantic Relationships Among Results显示文摘Web has a plethora of information.Modern search engines(such Google,Bing)can retrieve web pages based on keywords and return them in a ranking list.However,users with little knowledge in a certain domain would have difficulty in finding appropriate keywords to retrieve the web pages they intend to find.What’s more,little interaction with search engine restrains users to do further investigation among the results.If users want to refine their queries,no assistance about potential related concepts/instances is provided.In this paper,we introduce a new search engine:HierarSearch,which enhances performance of search engines by providing an interactive keyword hierarchy generated from webpages retrieved.Users can interact with the tag cloud keyword hierarchy to know the semantic relationships among results,and also refine queries by selecting keywords in tag cloud.HierarSearch would generate refined keywords query“intelligently”with the help of a very large database,which understands human world.Qian Liu Hongzhi Wang Shaoying Song 2016国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2016,,2:0
