| 1 | Preparation of Diamond-like Carbon Films on the Surface of Ti Alloy by Electro-deposition显示文摘In this paper, diamond-like carbon (DLC) fi[ms were deposited on Ti alloy by electro-deposition. DLC films were brown and composed of the compact grains whose diameter was about 400 nm. Examined by XPS, the main composition of the films was carbon. | 3 | Solvothermal synthesis of magnetic Fe_3O_4 microparticles via self-assembly of Fe_3O_4 nanoparticles显示文摘Ferromagnetic Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles were synthesized and then self-assembled into microparticles via a solvothermal method,using FeCl 3 ·6H 2 O as the iron source,sodium oleate as the surfactant,and ethylene glycol as the reducing agent and solvent.The obtained Fe 3 O 4 microparticles were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),Raman spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).The size and morphology of the particles were examined using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The Fe 3 O 4 microparticles of nearly monodisperse diameters,controllable in the range of 120-400 nm,consist of assemblies of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles with a diameter of 22 nm.The effects of reaction time,amount of surfactant and NaAc on the products were discussed.Interestingly,by using the pre-synthesized Fe 3 O 4 microparticles as the growth substrates,spherical and smooth-looking Fe 3 O 4 microparticles with average diameter of 1 m were obtained.A plausible formation process was discussed. | Wei Zhang Fenglei Shen Ruoyu Hong | 2011 | Particuology2011,9,2: | 2 |

| 7 | Galangin mitigates glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis by activating autophagy of BMSCs via triggering the PKA/CREB signaling pathway显示文摘Glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis(GIOP),one of the most common and serious adverse effects associated with glucocorticoid administration,manifests as decreased bone formation and increased bone resorption,eventually culminating in bone loss.Galangin(GAL)is a flavonoid extracted from the medicinal herbal galangal that possesses a variety of pharmacological activities and can inhibit osteoclastogenesis.However,the effects of GAL on GIOP remain unclear.Our study aims to explore the effects of GAL on GIOP in mice and the underlying mechanism.Our results show that GAL markedly mitigates the severity of dexamethasone(Dex)-induced osteoporosis in mice and potentiates osteogenic differentiation in mouse bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).Furthermore,GAL also significantly counteracts Dex-mediated suppression of osteogenic differentiation and autophagy in human BMSCs.GAL augments PKA/CREB-mediated autophagic flux in BMSCs and the bones of osteoporotic mice.GAL-mediated osteogenic differentiation in Dex-treated BMSCs is significantly decreased by the PKA inhibitor H89 and autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine.Collectively,our data indicate that GAL can ameliorate GIOP,partly by augmenting the mineralization of BMSCs by potentiating PKA/CREB-mediated autophagic flux,highlighting its potential therapeutic use in treating glucocorticoid-related osteoporosis. | Chenying Zeng Shan Wang Huimin Gu Fenglei Chen Ziming Wang Jinteng Li Zhongyu Xie Pei Feng Huiyong Shen Yanfeng Wu | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,8: | 0 |
