1Porous Pt nanoframes decorated with Bi(OH)3 as highly efficient and stable electrocatalyst for ethanol oxidation reaction显示文摘High-quality Pt-based catalysts are highly desirable for ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR),which is of critical importance for the commercial applications of direct ethanol fuel cells(DEFCs).However,most of the Pt-based catalysts have suffered from high cost and low operation durability.Herein a two-step method has been developed to synthesize porous Pt nanoframes decorated with Bi(OH)3,which show excellent catalytic activity and operation durability in both alkaline and acidic media.For example,the nanoframes show a mass activity of 6.87 A·mgPt−1 in alkaline media,which is 13.5-fold higher than that of commercial Pt/C.More importantly,the catalyst can be reactivated simply,which shows negligible activity loss after running for 180,000 s.Further in situ attenuated total reflection-infrared(ATR-IR)absorption spectroscopy and CO-stripping experiments indicate that surface Bi(OH)3 species can greatly facilitate the formation of adsorbed OH species and subsequently remove carbonaceous poison,resulting in a significantly enhanced stability towards EOR.This work may favor the tailoring of desired electrocatalysts with high activity and durability for future commercial application of DEFCs.Xiaolei Yuan Bei Jiang Muhan Cao Congyang Zhang Xiaozhi Liu Qinghua Zhang Fenglei Lyu Lin Gu Qiao Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:3

3Biophysical studies of the interaction between a triazole derivative and bovine serum albumin by multi-spectroscopic and molecular modeling methods显示文摘The interaction between 3-thiol-4-(2,4-dichlorobenzylideneamino)-5-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole (CBTZ) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) under physiological conditions was investigated by fluorescence,UV-vis absorption and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy as well as molecular modeling methods. The result of fluorescence experiment indicates the static quenching as a result of the formation of the CBTZ-BSA complex. The binding constants (Ka) at different temperatures were calculated according to the modified Stern-Volmer equation. The enthalpy change (-H) and entropy change (-S) were determined based on the van′t Hoff equation. Both negative-H and-S indicated that van der Waals and hydrogen-bonding forces were the dominant intermolecular forces to stabilize the CBTZ-BSA complex. Site marker competitive replacement experiments demonstrated that binding of CBTZ to BSA primarily took place in sub-domain IIA (Sudlow's site I). The binding distance (r = 7.2 nm) between CBTZ and the tryptophan residue of BSA was estimated according to the theory of fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). The conformational studies by circular dichroism (CD) and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy showed that the presence of CBTZ induced minor changes of the secondary structure of BSA. 4Multi-level modulation scheme based on PAK algorithm for optical camera communications显示文摘In an optical camera communication(OCC) system, multi-level modulation is essential for data rate enhancement with the finite frame rate of the receiving camera constraint, where the K-means algorithm is widely used as a thresholding scheme. The result of K-means clustering is sensitive to initial cluster centers. In this paper, we propose a multi-level modulation scheme utilizing the pilot-aided K-means(PAK) algorithm. PAK algorithm innovates in both obtaining the state of the stripes propagated through the optical channel under different environments and overcoming the susceptibility of K-means. Our scheme could prompt data rate and improve the performance of OCC. 5SHOCK INITIATION OF EXPLOSIVES INVESTIGATED WITH SMALL PARTITION EXPERIMENT AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION显示文摘In order to investigate the shock ignition of high energy solid explosives by shock waves,we carry out Lagrangian experiments with 2-D Lagrangian technique which uses composite manganin-constantan(CMC).The efects of the shock sensitivity of pressed solid high explosives,TNT,and the efect of the lateral rarefaction wave were studied.Based on the measured pressure histories and the radial displacements,we formulate the Ignition and Growth reactive flow models for the pressed TNT.The shock initiation process simulated by Ignition and Growth model agreed well with experimental data.This pressed TNT model can be applied to shock initiation scenarios which are highly unpredictable and have not been or cannot be tested experimentally.Weijun Tao Shi Huan Fenglei Huang Guoping Jiang 2013Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,4:2

8Distribution pattern and geochemical analysis of rare earth elements in deep-ocean sediments显示文摘The content and distribution pattern of rare earth elements(REEs)in surface sediments from the Eastern and Western Pacifi c Ocean,the Northern and Southern Atlantic Ocean,and the Southwestern Indian Ocean were explored and the resources and geochemical characteristics of REEs in deep-ocean sediments from diff erent oceans were studied.The total REE abundances(ΣREE)in the diff erent oceans ranged as follows:Eastern Pacifi c,56.88–500.02μg/g;Western Pacifi c,290.68–439.94μg/g;Northern Atlantic,55.33–154.90μg/g;Southern Atlantic,40.83–69.30μg/g;and Southwestern Indian Ocean,20.24–64.76μg/g.Their corresponding LREE(La-Eu)/HREE(Gd-Lu)average values were 5.18,5.86,9.01,5.21,and 4.59,which indicated that the light REEs were all evidently enriched.δEu andδCe showed slight Eu-negative anomalies and signifi cant Ce-positive anomalies in all sediments.Although the contents of REEs in the sediments varied among the diff erent oceans,the distribution patterns of REEs were similar,and the correlation coeffi cient was greater than 0.9290.In the Eastern Pacifi c sediments,ΣREE showed a signifi cantly positive correlation with Co,Cu,Zn,Mn,Mo and a weak correlation with Fe.In the Western Pacifi c and Southern Atlantic sediments,ΣREE presented no obvious correlation and a weakly negative correlation with Co,Cu,Zn,Mn,Mo and Fe,respectively.ΣREE in the Southwestern Indian Ocean sediments positively correlated with Cu,Zn,Mn,Mo,Fe,and had a weakly negative correlation with Co.Jingxi LI Chengjun SUN Fenghua JIANG Fenglei GAO Yifan ZHENG 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,1:1

10In situ surface-confined fabrication of single atomic Fe-N_(4) on N-doped carbon nanoleaves for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Controllable fabrication of Fe-N-C based single-atom catalysts(SACs)for enhanced electrocatalytic performance is highly desirable but still challenging.Here,an in situ surface-confined strategy was demonstrated for the synthesis of single atomic Fe-N_(4))on N-doped carbon nanoleaves(L-FeNC).The in situ generated Zn3[Fe(CN)6]2 could not only serve as a protection layer against collapse of nanoleaves but also provide abundant Fe source for the formation of Fe-N moieties during pyrolysis,leading to high surface area and high graphitization degree of L-FeNC simultaneously.Benefiting from abundant Fe-N_(4))active sites,enhanced mass and charge transfer,the as-prepared L-FeNC manifested a half-wave potential of 0.89 V for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in 0.1 M KOH.A maximum power density of 140 m W cm^(-2)and stable discharge voltage even after operation for 50,000 s have been demonstrated when the L-FeNC was used as air cathode for Zn-air battery.This work not only provided a unique surfaceconfined strategy for the synthesis of two-dimensional nanocarbons,but also demonstrated the significant benefit from rational design and engineering of Fe-N-C SACs,thus offering great opportunities for fabrication of efficient energy conversion and storage devices.Xiaojing Jiang Jianian Chen Fenglei Lyu Chen Cheng Qixuan Zhong Xuchun Wang Ayaz Mahsud Liang Zhang Qiao Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:0
11Immobilization of Escherichia coli for detection of phage T4 using surface plasmon resonance显示文摘Phage contamination is a very serious and unavoidable problem in modern fermentation industry.It is necessary to develop sensitive and rapid phage detection methods for the early detection of phage contamination.In the present work,a real-time,rapid,specific and quantitative phage T4 detection method based on surface plasmon resonance(SPR) technique has been introduced.Escherichia coli was immobilized onto the preformed MPA self-assembled monolayer(SAM) through the widely used EDC/NHS cross-linking reaction as the recognition element.The bacteria immobilization was verified efficiently through the electrochemical measurements and fluorescence microscopy observations.The specific adsorption was much stronger than the non-specific adsorption of phage T4 binding to the biosensor surface modified by E.coli,and the latter could be neglected.The detection sensitivity reached 1×10 7 PFU/mL within 10 min.Within the experimental phage concentrations,the linear correlation between the SPR response and the phage concentration was good.The results suggest that the SPR technique is a potentially powerful tool for the phage or other virus detections,as a label-free,real-time,and rapid method.XIAO ChangQing JIANG FengLei ZHOU Bo LI Ran LIU Yi 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,9:0
12Research on mobile phone swaying and receiving position in optical camera communication显示文摘Optical camera communication(OCC) is gaining increasing attention in researches. However, applying it to a real-world scenario may encounter many practical problems, such as the communication device may sway or there may be a position offset between the camera and the light source, which may distort the stripes and make the message unreceivable. To this end, we propose pilot-based stripe area estimation(P-SAE) decoding algorithm, and design a pixels rearrangement(PR) scheme and stripes separation logic decision method(SSLD) to improve the decoding performance under sway or receiving position offset. Finally, we build a practical OCC system and carry out experiments to verify the effectiveness of the decoding algorithm. 13Applicability of nonmetric multidimensional scaling to noise quality research显示文摘With loudness-equalized car interior noise as sound stimuli, the work focused on applicability of nonmetric multidimensional scaling (NMDS) to sound quality research. It is presented that NMDS is an effective tool for subjective assessment research of sound quality, when listeners are clustered through correlation between listeners. With this key clustering process, the perceptual structure of car interior noise with strong consistency is revealed.
