| 2 | SURFACE METALLIZATION OF CENOSPHERES AND PRECIPITATORS BY ELECTROLESS PLATING显示文摘This paper reports the use of a colloidal Pd0 catalysis system to metallize the surface of precipitators separated from coal fly-ash, and metals such as Cu, Ni etc. are deposited on the precipitators surface. Alternatively, according to the characteristic surface of cenospheres, an Ag coating catalysis system is adopted to first deposit Ag on the cenospheres surface, followed, if necessary, by the deposition of other metals such as Cu, Ni, etc. on the Ag coating to produce monolayer and multilayer metal-coated cenospheres. The surface characteristics and the morphologies of the metal coatings are examined in detail with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) techniques. | 3 | Study on Electrokinetic Remediation of Cadmium-contaminated Soil显示文摘In order to improve electrokinetic remediation efficiency of cadmium-contaminated soil,the effects of electric field intensity,remediation time and electrolyte on removal rate of total Cd in Cd-contaminated soil by electrokinetic remediation were studied through the preparation of Cd-contaminated soil and the construction of electrokinetic remediation equipment. The results showed that under the same condition,with the electric field intensity increasing from 2. 5 to 3 V/cm,the total Cd removal rate increased by 10. 62%,and with the increase of the electric field intensity from 3 to 3. 5 V/cm,the removal rate increased by 1. 87%;when the remediation time was prolonged from 72 to 96 h,the removal rate of total Cd increased by 6. 68%,and with the remediation time prolonged from 96 to120 h,the removal rate of total Cd increased by 8. 75%; and with the remediation time prolonged from 120 to 144 h,the removal rate of total Cd only increased by1. 07%. Compared with citric acid as the electrolyte,the acetic acid group improved the remediation efficiency by 12. 14% and the total energy consumption by62. 13%,while the hydrochloric acid group improved the remediation efficiency by 18. 04% and the total energy consumption by 187. 9%. | 10 | Study on CeO_2/CuFe_2O_4 Catalytic Ozonation of Resorcinol显示文摘In order to improve the catalytic ozonation effect of resorcinol, the spinel CuFe_2O_4 was modified by doped CeO_2, and X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) were used for characterization analysis. The effects of composite catalyst CeO_2/CuFe_2O_4 dosage, ozone dosage, initial pH and reaction temperature on degradation were studied, and the stability of the catalyst was tested. The results showed that the composite effect of CeO_2/CuFe_2O_4 prepared by combustion method was good, and the catalyst presented a laminated structure, in which 30 wt% CeO_2/CuFe_2O_4 degradation effect was significant. The removal rate of resorcinol using CeO_2/CuFe_2O_4 composite catalyst was higher than that using ozone or CuFe_2O_4 separately by 41.8% and 11.9%, respectively. In a reaction with resorcinol concentration of 100 mg/L, the catalyst dosage of 1.0 g/L, the ozone dosage of 2.5 mg/(L·min), at pH=9, temperature of 20 ℃, for reaction time of 40 min, the resorcinol removal rate was 88.5%. Cultivars Revealed by ISSR Analysis显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to investigate the genetic diversity of 20 lotus( Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn) samples. [Methods]On this optimal ISSR amplification system,16 primers were screened with good polymorphism,and the DNA was used to amplify the 20 plant samples. [Results] The 16 primers produced 225 loci,of which 170 were polymorphic,and the polymorphic loci percentage was up to 75. 56%. The genetic similarity coefficients between the 20 varieties ranged from 0. 577 8 to 0. 951 1,which were calculated by POPGENE32. The 20 varieties by UPMGA analysis could be clustered into 2 groups,the first of which included Baiyangdian red lotus and Donggua lotus,and other varieties was included in the second group. | 14 | Preparation of Nanolignocellulose/Chitin Composites with Superior Mechanical Property and Thermal Stability显示文摘To resolve the issues of special processing equipment, cumbersome process flow and high cost of thecomposite material. The poplar wood fiber was used as the raw material, which were effectively crosslinked with chitin bythe simple mechanical thermal rubber milling method, then the high performance nanolignocellulose/chitin compositewere obtained by the binderless hot-press method. The nanostructure, chemical structure, surface composition, andthermal stability of nanolignocellulose/chitin composites were investigated by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and thermogravimetric/differential thermogravimetric (TG-DTG), respectively. Results turned out that the nanolignocellulose was laminated bythe grinding and the composite material appeared layered structure after the binderless hot-pressing. Chitin/chitosan fromcrab shell powder can be effectively crosslinked with nanofibrillarized lignocellulose to increase the contact area ofsurface hydroxyl groups. The static bending strength (MOR), modulus of elasticity (MOE) and internal bonding strengthof the nanolignocellulose/chitin composite were 34.13 MPa, 7072 MPa and 0.97 MPa, respectively. Meanwhile, theswelling value of thickness after water absorption was only 9.27%, demonstrating the dimensional stability. According tothe profile density distribution, the density of nano-lignocellulose/chitin composites was relatively uniform, whichindicates that the preparation process is reasonable. The nanolignocellulose/chitin composite has excellent thermalstability, since the mass loss of pyrolysis process is lower than the untreated binderless fiberboard. | 15 | Experimental study on a designed jet cavitation device for producing two-dimensional nanosheets显示文摘In this study,a jet cavitation device aimed at producing two-dimensional nanosheets was designed.The effects of cavitation generator type and jet pressure on the cavitation inception and intensity were examined by monitoring the changes of sound pressure level(SPL).As such,the optimized cavitation generator with the best cavitation capability under the same ambient condition was determined.Further,BN and MoS 2,two kinds of layered materials,were exfoliated into individual flakes in aqueous solutions by this jet cavitation device.By investigating the morphology of these exfoliated flakes via scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscope,it was found that these pristine materials were mostly exfoliated into two-dimensional nanosheets,among which even monolayers were generally presented.This exfoliation process happened mainly due to the cavitation-induced intensive tensile stress acting on the layered materials.As graphene has been produced by this device successfully,it is anticipated that this jet cavitation device is suitable for producing other various two-dimensional nanosheets. | LI JinZhi YI Min SHEN ZhiGang MA ShuLin ZHANG XiaoJing XING YuShan | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,10: | 0 |
