1Wear properties of potassium titanate whiskers-reinforced Al-12Si alloy composites显示文摘Potassium titanate(K2O·6TiO2) whiskers-reinforced Al-12Si alloy composites were prepared by the squeeze casting technique.Wear properties of the composites were investigated by pin-on-disc tests under dry conditions.The experimental results showed that K2O·6TiO2 whiskers can effectively reinforce the matrix alloy and improve the wear resistance of the composite when the volume fraction of whiskers is low at 10 vol%.However,the composites with a high volume fraction of whiskers showed lower wear resistance than the Al-12Si alloy.The main wear mechanism of the composites is clarified as de-lamination and abrasive wear.Wei Zhongshan Wu Shenqing 2010China Foundry2010,7,1:7
2Grain Growth Behavior of 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N Steel Micro-Alloyed by Rare Earth显示文摘Grain growth behavior of 5Cr21Mn9Ni4NRE steel was experimentally studied at various solid solution treatment temperatures and holding for different times. The experimental results show that the 5Cr21Mn9Ni4NRE steel has the feature of sharp austenite grain coarsening after solid solution treatment at the temperature above 1150 ℃. RE added in the steel has the benefit to restrain grain growth and increase grain growth activation energy. Grain growth mechanism is self-diffusion controlling process. The dispersed carbo-nitride in the steel greatly restrains grain growth. Solid solution treatment at the temperature below 1100 ℃ leads to little increase of grain size and little decrease of Rockwell hardness for mass carbo-nitride undissolved, whereas solid solution treatment at the temperature above 1150 ℃ leads to rapid grain coarsening and Rockwell hardness decrease. 3Application of ceramic short fiber reinforced Al alloy matrix composite on piston for internal combustion engines显示文摘The preparation and properties of ceramic short fiber reinforced Al-Si alloy matrix composite and it's application on the piston for internal combustion engines are presented. Alumina or aluminosilicatefiibers reinforced Al-Si alloy matrix composite has more excellent synthetical properties at elevated temperature than the matrix alloys. A partially reinforced Al-Si alloy matrix composite piston produced by squeeze casting technique has a firm interface between reinforced and unreinforced areas, low reject rate and good technical tolerance. As a new kind of piston material, it has been used for mass production of about 400,000 pieces of automobile engines piston. 4SARS-CoV-2 impairs the disassembly of stress granules and promotes ALS-associated amyloid aggregation显示文摘The nucleocapsid(N)protein of SARS-CoV-2 has been reported to have a high ability of liquid-liquid phase separation,which enables its incorporation into stress granules(SGs)of host cells.However,whether SG invasion by N protein occurs in the scenario of SARS-CoV-2 infection is unknow,neither do we know its con-sequence.Here,we used SARS-CoV-2 to infect mam-malian cells and observed the incorporation of N protein into SGs,which resulted in markedly impaired self-dis-assembly but stimulated cell cellular clearance of SGs.NMR experiments further showed that N protein binds to the SG-related amyloid proteins via non-specific tran-sient interactions,which not only expedites the phase transition of these proteins to aberrant amyloid aggre-gation in vitro,but also promotes the aggregation of FUS with ALS-associated P525L mutation in cells.In addition,we found that ACE2 is not necessary for the infection of SARS-CoV-2 to mammalian cells.Our work indicates that SARS-CoV-2 infection can impair the dis-assembly of host SGs and promote the aggregation of SG-related amyloid proteins,which may lead to an increased risk of neurodegeneration.Yichen Li Shuaiyao Lu Jinge Gu Wencheng Xia Shengnan Zhang Shenqing Zhang Yan Wang Chong Zhang Yunpeng Sun Jian Lei Cong Liu Zhaoming Su Juntao Yang Xiaozhong Peng Dan Li 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,8:1

18High-Temperature Oxidation Behavior of 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N Steel Micro-Alloyed by Rare Earth显示文摘The oxidation resistance of 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N steel micro-alloying by RE at 700~900 ℃ was investigated. The results indicate that oxidation exponent n and oxidation activation energy are increased, and oxidation velocity constant k_p is decreased when 0.2% RE is added in 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N steel. The addition of RE elements does not alter phase constitution of oxidation scale, however it improves the configuration of oxidation scale, and increases thermal stability and adhesivity of oxidation scale, which results in the raise of oxidation resistance of 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N steel at high temperature. The oxidation scale constitutes of refractory steel transfer from manganic oxide mostly to ferric oxide mostly with the increase of temperature, which leads to descend of compactness and desquamation resistance of oxidation scale.
