36-8 Volume Production of HWR010 Cavities in IMP显示文摘The development of the Half Wave Resonator (HWR010) is based on the China ADS project. The HWR010 operates at 162.5 MHz and can provide more than 0.78 MV of accelerating voltage per cavity for proton with opt=0.10. The goal of the RF properties is to get a lower heat load and a higher accelerating gradient, which are determined by a higher R/Q0 and lower peak surface fields (Bpk/Eacc and Epk/Eacc). In order to optimize the HWR geometry parameters, CST-MWS is used to conduct the RF simulation. 46-10 Beam Commissioning Activities of CADS Superconducting Demo Facility显示文摘The demo facility of china ADS injector II was installed in the tunnel in 2014. The on-site layout of demo facility is shown in the Fig. 1. The demo faclity mainly includes ECRIS, LEBT, RFQ acclerator, MEBT and TCM6. The TCM6 is composed by six SC HWR cavity,six SC soleniods and five BPMs. The TCM6 will be the prototype for the future 2025 MeV CADS superconducting linac. The beam commissioning of CADS Injector II started in June 2015. 86-12 Study of IMP Superconducting CH Cavity显示文摘The cross bar H mode (CH) cavity is suitable to accelerate the low energy and medium energy proton. Theoperating mode in the CH cavity is H210. Compared with other low-beta superconducting cavities, the CH cavitywith multi-cell structure has high real acceleration gradient. In superconducting CH cavity, the cross bar is helpfulto rigidize the cavity mechanically. Since the year of 2011, IMP have involved into the research of superconductingCH cavity for the ADS project[1]. 176-8 Electropolishing of Niobium from Choline Chloride Based Ionic Liquid显示文摘The BCP solutions use mixed acids based on HF acid,which carry significant potential safety hazard during operation.Developing a safe and green polishing solution without HF is an important research subject for cavity’s surface treatment[1].We adopt green ionic liquids for polishing solution of electropolish niobium samples.In the experiment,niobium samples were electropolished from a 1:2:1 Choline chloride–urea-ammonium fluoride ionic liquid under different conditions(Fig.1).The surface of Nb sample without any treatment is dark and uneven(1#of Fig.1).After electropolished at 50℃,the surface of Nb sample become smooth,but the glossiness is not good(2#of Fig.1).Improving the electropolishing temperature to 80℃,the glossiness of Nb becomes good and the surface becomes even(3#of Fig.1).In order to compare the electropolishing effect intuitively,put a ruler before the treated samples.Chu Qingwei He Yuan Zhang Shenghu You Zhiming Guo Hao Xiong Pingran 2016IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2016,,1:0
