1Changes in China’s lakes: climate and human impacts显示文摘Lakes have played a critical role in providing water and ecosystem services for people and other organisms in China for millennia.However,accelerating climate change and economic boom have resulted in unprecedented changes in these valuable lakes.Using Landsat images covering the entity of the country,we explored the changes in China’s lakes and the associated driving forces over the last 30 years(i.e.mid-1980 s to 2015).We discovered that China’s lakes have changed with divergent regional trends:in the sparsely populated Tibetan Plateau,lakes are abundant and the lake area has increased dramatically from 38596 to46831 km^2(i.e.increased by 8235 km^2,or 21.3%),whereas,in the densely populated northern and eastern regions,lakes are relatively scarce and the lake area has decreased from 36659 to 33657 km^2(i.e.decreased by 3002 km^2,or 8.2%).In particular,severe lake decreases occurred in the Mongolia-Xinjiang Plateau and the Eastern Plain(-2151 km^2).Statistical analyses indicated that climate was the most important factor controlling lake changes in the Tibetan Plateau,the Yun-Gui Plateau and the Northeast Plain.However,the strength of climatic control on lake changes was low in the Eastern Plain and the Mongolia-Xinjiang Plateau,where human activities,e.g.impoldering,irrigation and mining,have caused serious impacts on lakes.Further lake changes will exacerbate regional imbalances between lake resources and population distribution,and thus may increase the risk of water-resource crises in China.Shengli Tao Jingyun Fang Suhui Ma Qiong Cai Xinyu Xiong Di Tian Xia Zhao Leqi Fang Heng Zhang Jiangling Zhu Shuqing Zhao 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:14
2Improved Hybrid Robust Control Method for the Electromechanical Actuator in Aircrafts显示文摘In the flight process of aircrafts, their electromechanical actuators(EMA) must have the ability of enduring uncertainties caused by factors such as load disturbance, the variation of work temperature and the EMA’s nonlinearity. At present, in order to increase the EMA’s robustness on the uncertainties, the H∞ control method has been applied in aircrafts. The major problems with standard H∞ control lie in the large overshoot of step response and the high orders of the controller. For the purpose of addressing the two problems, this paper investigates several kinds of robust control strategies of the EMA. A mathematical model of the EMA is first built, and then with MATLAB software a H∞ controller and an improved hybrid robust controller composed of a reduced order H∞ controller and a lead compensator are designed. In order to make a scientific comparison of the control effects of H∞ controller, hybrid controller and classic proportion-integral-differential(PID) controller, a simulation research is made in respect of the open loop frequency response and the closed loop step response of the three controllers. For comparing the robustness of the three controllers, the load torque is entered as a disturbance and the disturbance response of error and control input are thus obtained. The experiments with the three controllers are also conducted. Through giving the EMA a command and a disturbance torque successively, the transient response and disturbing process of EMA are recorded. The simulation and experiment results show that with the help of the hybrid controller, the EMA not only guarantees good dynamic characteristics, but also has strong robustness of disturbance rejection. 6Two novel terpyridine-based chromophores with donor-acceptor structural model containing modified triphenylamine moiety: Synthesis, crystal structures and two-photon absorption properties显示文摘Two novel terpyridine-based chromophores with D-A (D = donor, A = acceptor) structural model containing modified triphenylamine moiety (L1 and L2 ) have been conveniently synthesized via formylation and reduction in satisfactory yields, and fully characterized. The single crystals of them were obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The relationships between structure and photophysical properties of the two chromophores were investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The measured maximum TPA cross-sections per molecular weight (δmax /MW) of the chromophores are 0.63 GM/(g mol) (L1) and 0.72 GM/(g mol) (L2), respectively, in DMF as a high polar solvent. 7Effect of reduced energy density of close-up diets on dry matter intake,lactation performance and energy balance in multiparous Holstein cows显示文摘Energy intake prepartum is critically important to health,milk performance,and profitability of dairy cows.The objective of this study was to determine the effect of reduced energy density of close-up diets on dry matter intake(DMI),lactation performance and energy balance(EB) in multiparous Holstein cows which were housed in a free-stall bam and fed for ad libitum intake.Thirty-nine dry cows were blocked and assigned randomly to three groups fed a high energy density diet[HD,n = 13;6.8 MJ of net energy for lactation(NE_L)/kg;14.0%crude protein(CP)],or a middle energy density diet(MD,n = 13;6.2 MJ NE_L/kg;14.0%CP),or a low energy density diet(LD,n = 13;5.4 MJ NE_L/kg;14.0%CP) from d 21 before expected day of calving.After parturition,all cows were fed the same lactation diet to d 70 in milk(DIM).The DMI and NE_L intake prepartum were decreased by the reduced energy density diets(P< 0.05).The LD group consumed 1.3 kg/d(DM) more diet compared with HD group in the last 24 h before calving.The milk yield and the postpartum DMI were increased by the reduced energy density diet prepartum(P< 0.05).The changes in BCS and BW prepartum and postpartum were not affected by prepartum diets.HD group had higher milk fat content and lower lactose content compared with LD group during the first 3 wk of lactation(P< 0.05).The energy consumption for HD,MD and LD groups were 149.8%,126.2%and 101.1%of their calculated energy requirements prepartum(P< 0.05),and 72.7%,73.1%and 75.2%during the first 4 wk postpartum,respectively.In conclusion,the low energy density prepartum diet was effective in controlling NE_L intake prepartum,and was beneficial in increasing DMI and milk yield,and alleviating negative EB postpartum.Wenming Huang Yujia Tian Yajing Wang Aminamu Simayi Amingguli Yasheng Zhaohai Wu Shengli Li Zhijun Cao 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,1:1

12Cloning and Bioinformatics Analysis of PsSFBB Gene in Xinjiang Pear显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to clone the PsSFBB gene from Xinjiang pear for bioinformatics analysis.[Method] PsSFBB gene was cloned from anthers of Qipan pear by using RT-PCR and RACE technologies for bioinformatics analysis.[Result] A SFBB6-α gene with a full-length of 1 231 bp was cloned and named PsSFBB6-α(Genbank accession number:EU909685).PsSFBB6-α gene encodes a protein of 378 amino acids,with an F-box motif composed of about 50 amino acids in the N-terminal.According to the bioinformatics analysis,the molecular formula of PsSFBB6-α protein is C2000H3034N517O558S23,with relative molecular mass of 43 987.5 and isoelectric point of 6.02,and the secondary structure is dominated by α-helices;theoretically,the half life period is 30 h and the instability parameter is 55.21,so PsSFBB6-α protein is an instable protein;in addition,it is predicted that PsSFBB6-α protein is a hydrophilic and non-secreted protein with lyases activity and specifically recognized substrates,which was consistent with the function of F-box protein.[Conclusion] This study laid the foundation for further research on SFBB proteins and the mechanism of self-incompatibility and provided theoretical basis for breeding of self-compatible cultivars of Xinjiang pear and scientific arrangement of pollination trees in production to increase the yield and quality.Shengli XU Xiaoqing CHEN Minjuan LIN Jiangbo WANG Jianping BAO Danna LIANG Jingjing WANG Beibei TIAN 2012Agricultural Biotechnology2012,1,1:1

16Synergistic lubricating effect of graphene/ionic liquid composite material used as an additive显示文摘We prepared a graphene/ionic liquid(G/IL)composite material by the hybridization of G and an IL for use as a lubricating oil additive.The friction coefficient and wear volume of a base oil containing 0.04 wt%of the G/IL composite was reduced by 45%and 90%,respectively.Furthermore,the base oil containing the G/IL composite exhibited better lubricating properties than the base oil containing G,IL,or a mixture of IL and G at the same mass fraction.A synergistic lubrication mechanism was also revealed.The G/IL composite was adsorbed and deposited on the wear surface,forming a more ordered protective film and a unique tribochemical reaction film during rubbing.Therefore,the G/IL composite exhibited the synergistic lubricating effects of G and IL,which significantly improved the lubricating performance of the base oil.This study also suggested a way to limit the out-of-plane puckering of G at the macroscale.Lincong LIU Ming ZHOU Youtang MO Pengpeng BAI Qilin WEI Long JIN Shengli YOU Mingyue WANG Liangchuan LI Xin CHEN Xiao LI Yu TIAN 2021Friction2021,9,6:1
