1Fast reconstructed and high-quality ghost imaging with fast Walsh-Hadamard transform显示文摘In this paper, we propose a ghost imaging scheme with fast Walsh–Hadamard transform, named GIFWHT. In the scheme, Walsh–Hadamard pattern pairs are used to illuminate an object to generate pairs of detection results, and the corresponding differential detection result is used as the result as that from the conventional bucket detector.By performing the fast Walsh–Hadamard transform on 2~k(k is a positive integer) differential detection results,the image of the object can be recovered. The experimental and numerical simulation results show that the reconstruction time of GIFWHT is greatly reduced, and the quality of the recovered image is noticeably improved. 3Efficient separating orbital angular momentum mode with radial varying phase显示文摘It is shown that orbital angular momentum(OAM) is a promising new resource in future classical and quantum communications. However, the separation of OAM modes is still a big challenge. In this paper, we propose a simple and efficient separation method with a radial varying phase. In the method, specific radial varying phases are designed and modulated for different OAM modes. The resultant beam is focused to the spots with different horizontal and vertical positions after a convex lens, when the coordinate transformation, including two optical elements with coordinate transformation phase and correct phase, operates on the received beam.The horizontal position of the spot is determined by the vortex phases, and the vertical position of the spot is dependent on the radial varying phases. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible both for separation of two OAM modes and separation of three OAM modes. The proposed separation method is available in principle for any neighboring OAM modes because the radial varying phase is controlled. 4Localization and characterization of the hypothetical protein CT440 in Chlamydia trachomatis-infected cells显示文摘The inclusion membrane proteins play potentially important roles in chlamydial biology and pathogenesis.Here we localized and characterized the hypothetical protein CT440 in Chlamydia trachomatis-infected cells.The open reading frame(ORF) encoding the CT440 protein from the C.trachomatis serovar D genome was cloned into the prokaryotic expression vector pGEX-6p and expressed as a glutathione-S-transferase(GST) fusion protein in E.coli XL1-Blue.The CT440 fusion protein was used to immunize mice to raise antigen-specific antibody.After verification by Western blot and immunofluorescence assay(IFA),the specific antibody was used to localize the endogenous CT440 protein and to detect its expression pattern in Chlamydia-infected cells.Cytosolic expression of CT440 in HeLa cells was also carried out to evaluate the effect of the CT440 protein on the subsequent chlamydial infection.The results showed that the hypothetical protein CT440 was localized in the C.trachomatis inclusion membrane,and was detectable 12 h after chlamydial infection.Expression of CT440 in the cytoplasm did not inhibit the subsequent chlamydial infection.In summary,we have identified a new inclusion membrane protein that may be an important candidate for understanding C.trachomatis pathogenesis.LI ZhongYu HUANG QiuLin SU ShengMei ZHOU Zhou CHEN ChaoQun ZHONG GuangMing WU YiMou 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,11:5
5Sequential auto-reclosing strategy for hybrid HVDC breakers in VSC-based DC grids显示文摘The use of overhead lines for power transmission in the future high-voltage and large-capacity voltagesource converter(VSC)-based direct current(DC) grid will significantly increase the probability of temporary faults.To eliminate potential adverse impacts such as erroneous protection, line-insulation failure, and even damage to power electronic devices resulting from a DC breaker reclosing operation with the traditional sequential autoreclosing strategy, a new sequential auto-reclosing strat-egy for hybrid HVDC breakers(HHBs) in VSC-based DC grids is proposed. This strategy is based on the step-by-step operation of the transfer branch in the HHB. As a result,du/dt resulting from the HHB reclosing operation is greatly reduced, and therefore those potential negative impacts can be eliminated. 6Multiple CRC-aided variable successive cancellation list decoder of polar codes显示文摘In order to change the path candidates, reduce the average list size, and make more paths pass cyclic redundancy check(CRC), multiple CRC-aided variable successive cancellation list(SCL) decoding algorithm is proposed. In the decoding algorithm, the whole unfrozen bits are divided into several parts and each part is concatenated with a corresponding CRC code, except the last part which is concatenated with a whole unfrozen CRC code. Each CRC detection is performed, and only those satisfying each part CRC become the path candidates. A variable list is setup for each part to reduce the time complexity. Variable list size is setup for each part to reduce the time complexity until one survival path in each part can pass its corresponding CRC. 10An On-Demand Security Mechanism for Cloud-Based Telecommunications Services显示文摘As cloud computing gains in popularity, data migrated off premises is exposed to more threats than ever before. This is because data is out of control of the owner while floating in the cloud. Traditional device-centric security systems are not efficient enough and need to be evolved to data-centric protection systems. Cloud telecommunications services require security measures in three domains: data storage, processing, and transmission. Data stored in the cloud requires a mechanism to protect it; data in transit needs to be protected either at the service or transmission level; and data being processed needs to be protected during the processing stage. 11Effects of propofol on ammonium chloride-exposed astrocyte morphology and aquaporin-4 expression显示文摘Ammonia induces astrocyte swelling, which is strongly associated with overexpression of aquaporin-4. However, the mechanisms by which ammonia induces astrocyte swelling, and subsequently upregulating aquaporin-4 expression, remain unknown. In the present study, astrocytes were cultured in vitro and exposed to ammonium chloride (NH4Cl), followed by propofol, protein kinase C agonist, or antagonist, respectively. Astrocyte morphology was observed by light microscopy, and aquaporin-4 expression was detected by western blot analysis. Results showed that propofol or protein kinase C agonist significantly attenuated the degree of NH4Cl-induced astrocyte swelling and inhibited increased aquaporin-4 expression. 12Aqueous Zinc Batteries with Ultra‑Fast Redox Kinetics and High Iodine Utilization Enabled by Iron Single Atom Catalysts显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous zinc iodine(ZnǀǀI_(2))batteries have been promising energy storage technologies due to low-cost position and constitutional safety of zinc anode,iodine cathode and aqueous electrolytes.Whereas,on one hand,the low-fraction utilization of electrochemically inert host causes severe shuttle of soluble polyiodides,deficient iodine utilization and sluggish reaction kinetics.On the other hand,the usage of high mass polar electrocatalysts occupies mass and volume of electrode materials and sacrifices device-level energy density.Here,we propose a“confinement-catalysis”host composed of Fe single atom catalyst embedding inside ordered mesoporous carbon host,which can effectively confine and catalytically convert I_(2)/I^(−)couple and polyiodide intermediates.Consequently,the cathode enables the high capacity of 188.2 mAh g^(−1)at 0.3 A g^(−1),excellent rate capability with a capacity of 139.6 mAh g^(−1)delivered at high current density of 15 A g^(−1)and ultra-long cyclic stability over 50,000 cycles with 80.5%initial capacity retained under high iodine loading of 76.72 wt%.Furthermore,the electrocatalytic host can also accelerate the I^(+)↔I_(2)conversion.The greatly improved electrochemical performance originates from the modulation of physicochemical confinement and the decrease of energy barrier for reversible I−/I_(2)and I_(2)/I^(+)couples,and polyiodide intermediates conversions.Xueya Yang Huiqing Fan Fulong Hu Shengmei Chen Kang Yan Longtao Ma 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:2

14Analysis of Differences in Biochemical Components Between Yunnan and Kenya Tea Tree Varieties显示文摘With 16 Yunnan tea tree varieties and 5 Kenya tea tree varieties as test materials,the differences in biochemical components between Yunnan and Kenya tea tree varieties were compared and analyzed.The results showed that the coefficients of variation of tea polyphenols,amino acids,caffeine,water extract,gallic acid(GA),catechin(C),epicatechin(EC),epicatechin gallate(ECG),epigallocatechin(EGC),epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)and total catechins in Yunnan tea tree varieties were greater than those in Kenyan tea trees.The contents of tea polyphenols,amino acids,caffeine,water extract,C,EC,EGC,EGCG and total catechins in Yunnan tea tree varieties had no significant differences from those in Kenyan tea trees varieties(P>0.05),while there were significant differences in the contents of GA and ECG between Yunnan tea tree varieties and Kenya tea tree varieties(P<0.05).Therefore,it could be predicted that GA and ECG might be one of the main characteristics of the differences in biochemical components between Yunnan tea tree varieties and Kenyan tea tree varieties.The cluster analysis results showed that when the genetic distance was 15,the 21 tested tea varieties could be divided into three groups with obvious biochemical differences.Shengmei YANG Youyong LI Zhifen DUAN Yunxiu BAO Weiqiong SHANG Benying LIU Yichun TANG 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,4:2
