Extraction and separation of heavy rare earths from chloride medium byα-aminophosphonic acid HEHAPP显示文摘The extraction and separation of heavy rare earths(REs) using newly synthesized a-aminophosphonic acid extractant 2-ethylhexyl-3-(2-ethylhexylamino)pentan-3-yl phosphonic acid(HEHAPP, HA) in nheptane were investigated from chloride medium. The extraction stoichiometries of lanthanum, gadolinium, yttrium and lutetium are determined to be REA3 by the slope analysis method. The favorable separation factors of adjacent heavy REs(Ⅲ),i.e. β_(Y/Ho), β_(Er/Y),β_(Tm/Er),β_(Yb/Tm) and β_(Lu/Yb), are determined to be1.87,1.36, 3.21,3.22 and 1.93, respectively, when extracted from a binary system at proper condition. The loading capacities of HA for Ho, Er, Yb and Lu increase in the order Ho < Er < Yb < Lu with the values being 0.201, 0.205, 0.216 and 0.229 mol/L, respectively. So HA would be a potential extractant for the separation of heavy REs(Ⅲ). Among inorganic acids such as H_2 SO_4, HNO_3 and HCl, HCl is tested to be the most effective stripping agent. | Shengting Kuang Zhifeng Zhang Yanling Li Haiqin Wei Wuping Liao | 2018 | Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,3: | 6
Synergistic extraction of heavy rare earths by mixture of α-aminophosphonic acid HEHAMP and HEHEHP显示文摘Synergistic extraction of heavy rare earths(REs) were investigated in chloride media by the mixture of(2-ethylhexylamino)methyl phosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester(HEHAMP) and 2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester(HEHEHP). The maximum synergistic enhancement coefficients(R) of Lu, Yb, Tm, Er, Y and Ho are 2.89, 2.76, 2.54, 2.14, 2.14 and 2.06, respectively, when the mole fraction X_(HEHAMP) is 0.5. The synergistic separation factors of the heavy REs are obtained(β_(Y/Ho)=1.31,β_(Er/Y)= 1.61,β_(Tm/Er)= 1.78, β_(Yb/Tm)= 1.76, β_(Lu/Yb) = 1.20). The extracted complex is determined to be RE[H(EHAMP)_2][H(EHEHP)_2]_2 by the slope analysis method. The loading capacities of the mixtures consisting of 15% HEHAMP and 15% HEHEHP for Y and Lu are about 26.59 g/L(Yb_2 O_3) and 27.25 g/L(Lu_2 O_3),respectively. | Qi Zhao Yanling Li Shengting Kuang Zhifeng Zhang Xue Bian Wuping Liao | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,4: | 5
An Estimation of Ground Ice Volumes in Permafrost Layers in North- eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China显示文摘The ground ice content in permafrost serves as one of the dominant properties of permafrost for the study of global climate change, ecology, hydrology and engineering construction in cold regions. This paper initially attempts to assess the ground ice volume in permafrost layers on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by considering landform types, the corresponding lithological composition, and the measured water content in various regions. An approximation demonstrating the existence of many similarities in lithological composition and water content within a unified landform was established during the calculations. Considerable knowledge of the case study area, here called the Source Area of the Yellow(Huanghe) River(SAYR) in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has been accumulated related to permafrost and fresh water resources during the past 40 years. Considering the permafrost distribution, extent, spatial distribution of landform types, the ground ice volume at the depths of 3.0–10.0 m below the ground surface was estimated based on the data of 101 boreholes from field observations and geological surveys in different types of landforms in the permafrost region of the SAYR. The total ground ice volume in permafrost layers at the depths of 3.0–10.0 m was approximately(51.68 ± 18.81) km^3, and the ground ice volume per unit volume was(0.31 ± 0.11) m^3/m^3. In the horizontal direction, the ground ice content was higher in the landforms of lacustrine-marshland plains and alluvial-lacustrine plains, and the lower ground ice content was distributed in the erosional platforms and alluvial-proluvial plains. In the vertical direction, the volume of ground ice was relatively high in the top layers(especially near the permafrost table) and at the depths of 7.0–8.0 m. This calculation method will be used in the other areas when the necessary information is available, including landform type, borehole data, and measured water content. | WANG Shengting SHENG Yu LI Jing WU Jichun CAO Wei MA Shuai | 2018 | Chinese Geographical Science2018,28,1: | 4
Hd1,Ghd7,and DTH8 synergistically determine the rice heading date and yield-related agronomic traits显示文摘Heading date determines the seasonal and regional adaptation of rice(Oryza sativa L.)varieties and is mainly controlled by photoperiod sensitivity(PS).The core heading date genes Hd1,Ghd7,DTH8,and PRR37 act synergistically in regulating the PS.In this study,we systematically analyze the heading date,PS,and agronomic traits of eight homozygous lines with various combinations of Hd1,Ghd7,and DTH8 alleles in the prr37 background under long-day(LD)and short-day(SD)conditions,respectively.We find that Hd1 alone promotes heading, regardless of the day length. However, under LDs,Hd1 suppresses flowering,in coordination with functional Ghd7 or with Ghd7 and DTH8.These loci cooperate to negatively regulate the Ehd1-Hd3 a/RFT1 pathway and delay heading.Under SDs,Hd1 competes with various heading suppressors to promote heading. Therefore, the dual function of Hd1 is vital for PS.The lines carrying Hd1 alone show reduced plant height with fewer primary and secondary branches in panicles.Lines carrying Ghd7 and DTH8(with hd1)show delayed heading and improve agronomic traits.Overall, our results reveal the regulation of rice PS flowering by the core heading date genes and their effects on agronomic traits, providing valuable information for the selection of rice varieties for adaptation to different light and temperature conditions. | Kangli Sun Minghui Huang Wubei Zong Dongdong Xiao Chen Lei Yanqiu Luo Yingang Song Shengting Li Yu Hao Wanni Luo Bingqun Xu Xiaotong Guo Guangliang Wei Letian Chen Yao-Guang Liu Jingxin Guo | 2022 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,5: | 4
Correlation between Different Morus alba L. Leaf Nodes and the Change in Leaf Size or Mass显示文摘This paper aimed to explore the correlation between Morus alba L. leaf node and its size or mass change and provide a theoretical basis for the development of scientific Morus alba L. cultivation technology. During 2016-2017,the correlation between Morus alba L. leaf node and its size or mass change was investigated and researched. Results showed that through the correlation coefficient analysis, there was a weakly positive correlation between the leaf node and some indicators such as( leaf length ÷ leaf width) and petiole length, there was a weakly negative correlation between the leaf node and some indicators such as leaf width,( leaf length + leaf width),( leaf length × leaf width) and leaf mass, and there was a weakly negative correlation between the leaf node and the other indicators; there was a highly positive correlation between the leaf mass and some indicators such as Morus alba L. leaf length, leaf width,( leaf length + leaf width) and( leaf length × leaf width),there was a significantly positive correlation between the leaf mass and some indicators such as petiole transverse diameter in width and petiole mass, and there was a weakly positive correlation between the leaf mass and some indicators such as petiole transverse diameter in thickness. In terms of significant level of difference,it was found that there was no significant difference in the correlation coefficients between the leaf nodes on the Morus alba L. shoots and some indicators such as leaf length, leaf width,( leaf length + leaf width),( leaf length × leaf width) and leaf mass; there was an extremely significant difference in the correlation coefficients between the leaf mass and some indicators such as Morus alba L. leaf length, leaf width,( leaf length + leaf width),( leaf length × leaf width),petiole transverse diameter in width and petiole mass; there was no significant difference in the correlation coefficients between the leaf mass and the other indicators. The regression analysis was performed on the leaf node and leaf length, leaf width,( leaf length + leaf width),( leaf length × leaf width),( leaf length ÷ leaf width),petiole length, petiole diameter in width, petiole diameter in thickness, petiole mass and leaf mass. Significance F values were0. 4864,0. 1995,0. 2888,0. 3004,0. 2350,0. 2407,0. 8925,0. 5227,0. 7022 and 0. 2000,respectively,that is,there was an extremely significant difference between Morus alba L. leaf node and petiole diameter in width, there was a significant difference between Morus alba L.leaf node and petiole mass, and there was no significant difference between Morus alba L. leaf node and the other indicators. The comparative analysis of quadratic curve regression equation and linear regression equation was performed on some indicators such as leaf length, and it was found that the R value between the leaf node and petiole diameter in width was in line with the logarithmic curve regression equation, and the other R values of quadratic curve regression equation was larger than the other R values of linear regression equation, indicating that different Morus alba L. leaf nodes, leaf length, leaf mass and other indicators were in line with the quadratic curve regression equation. It was concluded that by investigating the leaf node on the Morus alba L. shoots and regression equation,we could predict the leaf size, leaf mass and other indicators, and we could take the leaf node on the Morus alba L. shoots as a main factor affecting the Morus alba L. leaf size and mass. | Fanglun JIN Shengte YANG Chaobin LUO Ming LI Shiye HU Fawei ZHANG Xian YUE Wenxue WANG | 2017 | Asian Agricultural Research2017,9,11: | 2

Development of a target capture sequencing SNP genotyping platform for genetic analysis and genomic breeding in rapeseed显示文摘Rapeseed(Brassica napus)is an oil crop grown worldwide, making it a key plant species in molecular breeding research. However, the complexity of its polyploid genome increases sequencing costs and reduces sequencing accuracy.Target capture coupled with high-throughput sequencing is an efficient approach for detecting genetic variation at genomic regions or loci of interest. In this study,588 resequenced accessions of rapeseed were used to develop a target capture sequencing SNP genotyping platform named BnaPan50T.The platform comprised 54,765,with 54,058 resequenced markers from the pan-genome,and 855 variant trait-associated markers for 12 agronomic traits. The capture quality of BnaPan50T was demonstrated well in 12 typical accessions.Compared with a conventional genotyping array,BnaPan50T has a high SNP density and a high proportion of SNPs in unique physical positions and in annotated functional genes, promising wide application.Target capture sequencing and wholegenome resequencing in 90 doubled-haploid lines yielded 60%specificity,78%uniformity within tenfold coverage range, and 93%genotyping accuracy for the platform.BnaPan50T was used to construct a genetic map for quantitative trait loci(QTL)mapping, identify 21 unique QTL,and predict several candidate genes for yield-related traits in multiple environments.A set of 132 core SNP loci was selected from BnaPan50T to construct DNA fingerprints and germplasm identification resources. This study provides genomics resources to support target capture sequencing, genetic analysis and genomic breeding of rapeseed. | Xiaodong Li Xumei Liu Yonghai Fan Shengting Li Mengna Yu Mingchao Qian Yuling Chen Hongqiao Chen Xinchun Li Bei Liu Xinfu Xu Cunmin Qu Jiana Li Kun Lu | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,2: | 1
Genome-wide association study identifies novel loci and candidate genes for drought stress tolerance in rapeseed显示文摘Rapeseed(Brassica napus)is one of the most important oil crops worldwide;however, drought seriously curtails its growth and productivity.Identifying drought-tolerant germplasm is an efficient strategy for addressing water shortages. Here,we phenotyped a panel of 264 B.napus accessions at full-bloom stage using water loss ratio(WLR)as drought-tolerant index. It identified 8 low-WLR and 6 high-WLR accessions, regarded as droughttolerant and drought-sensitive,respectively.Comparing with drought-sensitive accessions at the seedling stage,drought-tolerant accessions had shown better performance in maintaining fresh and dry weights, and performed the higher expression of drought-induced marker genes under drought stress.Subsequently,a total of 139 SNPs(single nucleotide polymorphisms)were identified associated with the WLR using a genome-wide association study(GWAS)among 264 B.napus accessions, with the largest number SNPs at chromosome A10,and 13 SNPs significantly were associated with the WLR(-log_(10)(p-value)>6).Furthermore,4 putative candidate genes(BnaC09.RPS6,BnaC09.MATE,BnaA10.PPD5 and BnaC09.Histone)were screened involving in drought tolerance in B.napus.Together,our results highlight the WLR's importance in drought tolerance and establish the foundation for improving WLR-associated drought tolerance in rapeseed. | Ali Shahzad Minchao Qian Bangyang Sun Umer Mahmood Shengting Li Yonghai Fan Wei Chang Lishi Dai Hong Zhu Jiana Li Cunmin Qu Kun Lu | 2021 | Oil Crop Science2021,6,1: | 1
Screening of abiotic stress-responsive cotton genes using a cotton full-length cDNA overexpressing Arabidopsis library显示文摘Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)is a major crop and the main source of natural fiber worldwide.Because various abiotic and biotic stresses strongly influence cotton fiber yield and quality, improved stress resistance of this crop plant is urgently needed. In this study,we used Gateway technology to construct a normalized full-length cDNA overexpressing(FOX)library from upland cotton cultivar ZM12 under various stress conditions. The library was transformed into Arabidopsis to produce a cotton-FOX-Arabidopsis library.Screening of this library yielded 6,830 transgenic Arabidopsis lines,of which 757 were selected for sequencing to ultimately obtain 659 cotton ESTs.GO and KEGG analyses mapped most of the cotton ESTs to plant biological process, cellular compo-nent,and molecular function categories.Next,156potential stress-responsive cotton genes were identified from the cotton-FOX-Arabidopsis library under drought, salt,ABA,and other stress conditions.Four stress-related genes identified from the library, designated as GhCAS,GhAPX,GhSDH,and GhPOD,were cloned from cotton complementary DNA,and their expression patterns under stress were analyzed.Phenotypic experiments in-dicated that overexpression of these cotton genes in Arabidopsis affected the response to abiotic stress. The method developed in this study lays a foundation for high-throughput cloning and rapid identification of cotton functional genes. | Shengting Li Hao Chen Zhi Hou Yu Li Cuiling Yang Daojie Wang Chun-Peng Song | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7: | 0
Evolutionary Transients in the Rice Transcriptome显示文摘In the canonical version of evolution by gene duplication, one copy is kept unaltered while the other is free to evolve. This process of evolutionary experimentation can persist for millions of years. Since it is so short lived in comparison to the lifetime of the core genes that make up the majority of most genomes, a substantial fraction of the genome and the transcriptome may-in principle-be attributable to what we will refer to as 'evolutionary transients', referring here to both the process and the genes that have gone or are undergoing this process. Using the rice gene set as a test case, we argue that this phenomenon goes a long way towards explaining why there are so many more rice genes than Arabidopsis genes, and why most excess rice genes show low similarity to eudicots. | Jun Wang Jianguo Zhang Ruiqiang Li Hongkun Zheng Jun Li Yong Zhang Heng Li Peixiang Ni Songgang Li Shengting Li Jingqiang Wang Dongyuan Liu Jason McDermott Ram Samudrala Siqi Liu Jian Wang Huanming Yang Jun Yu Gane Ka-Shu Wong | 2010 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2010,8,4: | 0

GLUL stabilizes N-Cadherin by antagonizing β-Catenin to inhibit the progresses of gastric cancer显示文摘Glutamate-ammonia ligase(GLUL, also known as glutamine synthetase) is a crucial enzyme that catalyzes ammonium and glutamate into glutamine in the ATP-dependent condensation. Although GLUL plays a critical role in multiple cancers, the expression and function of GLUL in gastric cancer remain unclear. In the present study, we have found that the expression level of GLUL was significantly lower in gastric cancer tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues, and correlated with N stage and TNM stage, and low GLUL expression predicted poor survival for gastric cancer patients. Knockdown of GLUL promoted the growth, migration, invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, and vice versa, which was independent of its enzyme activity. Mechanistically, GLUL competed with β-Catenin to bind to N-Cadherin, increased the stability of N-Cadherin and decreased the stability of β-Catenin by alerting their ubiquitination. Furthermore, there were lower N-Cadherin and higher β-Catenin expression levels in gastric cancer tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues. GLUL protein expression was correlated with that of N-Cadherin, and could be the independent prognostic factor in gastric cancer. Our findings reveal that GLUL stabilizes N-Cadherin by antagonizing β-Catenin to inhibit the progress of gastric cancer. | Qiwei Jiang Yong Li Songwang Cai Xingyuan Shi Yang Yang Zihao Xing Zhenjie He Shengte Wang Yubin Su Meiwan Chen Zhesheng Chen Zhi Shi | 2024 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,2: | 0
DNA Copy Number Aberrations in Breast Cancer by Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization显示文摘Array comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) has been popularly used for analyzing DNA copy number variations in diseases like cancer. In this study, we investigated 82 sporadic samples from 49 breast cancer patients using 1-Mb resolution bacterial artificial chromosome CGH arrays. A number of highly frequent genomic aberrations were discovered, which may act as 'drivers' of tumor progression. Meanwhile, the genomic profiles of four 'normal' breast tissue samples taken at least 2 cm away from the primary tumor sites were also found to have some genomic aberrations that recurred with high frequency in the primary tumors, which may have important implications for clinical therapy. Additionally, we performed class comparison and class prediction for various clinicopathological parameters, and a list of characteristic genomic aberrations associated with different clinicopathological phenotypes was compiled. Our study provides clues for further investigations of the underlying mechanisms of breast carcinogenesis. | Jian Li Kai Wang Shengting Li Vera Timmermans-Wielenga Fritz Rank Carsten Wiuf Xiuqing Zhang Huanming Yang Lars Bolund | 2009 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2009,7,1: | 0
