| 4 | Innovations in marine technology and potential needs for Arctic governance显示文摘The Arctic is a region of major significance in the Earth system,particularly important for global climate and international maritime governance.As human activity,relying on manufactured equipment,steadily increases in the Arctic,technological innovations for marine equipment must support the gradually more stringent requirements for future Arctic governance.In this review,four categories of innovations are analyzed,namely:innovations driven by traditional thinking,innovations for environmental protection,innovations for practical application,and innovations for observing information systems.Two examples of international regulations,the Polar Code(adopted in 2014)and the International Standard for Arctic offshore structures of the International Organization for Standardization(ISO 19906,first published in 2010),are selected to illustrate successful international cooperation efforts for Arctic marine innovation.This work provides a basis for discussion on technology development,governance efficiency,and international cooperation in the Arctic. | YANG Jian SHI Guijie | 2022 | Advances in Polar Science2022,33,4: | 0 |
| 5 | Study on the interaction between β-carotene and gut microflora using an in vitro fermentation model显示文摘β-Carotene,a typical non-oxygenated carotenoid,is the most efficient source of retinol(VA).The low bio-availability ofβ-carotene lead to large accumulation in colon;however,the relationship betweenβ-carotene and gut microflora remains unclear.This study intends to explore the interaction betweenβ-carotene and gut microflora using an in vitro fermentation model.After 24 h fermentation,the degradation rate ofβ-carotene was(64.28±6.23)%,which was 1.46 times that of the group without gut microflora.Meanwhile,the production of VA was nearly 2 times that of the group without gut microflora,indicating that the gut microflora can metabolizeβ-carotene into VA.β-Carotene also influences the production of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),the production of total SCFAs in 0.5 mg/mLβ-carotene(BCM)group was(44.00±1.16)mmol/L,which was 2.26 times that of the blank control(BLK)group.Among them,the production of acetic acid in BCM group was(19.06±0.82)mmol/L,which was 2.64 time that of the BLK group.Furthermore,β-carotene significantly affected the structure and composition of gut microflora,increasing the abundance of Roseburia,Parasutterella and Lachnospiraceae,and decreasing the abundance of Dialister,Collinsella and Enterobacter(P<0.05).This study provides a new way to understand howβ-carotene works in human body with gut microflora. | Zhixian Li Zhuqing Dai Enjuan Shi Peng Wan Guijie Chen Zhongyuan Zhang Yayuan Xu Ruichang Gao Xiaoxiong Zeng Dajing Li | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Distribution Characteristics of Methylmercury in Eriocheir sinensis Produced in Zhejiang Province and the Risk of Eating It显示文摘Based the detection of content of methylmercury in the meat and butter of Eriocheir sinensis cultured in Zhejiang Province by liquid chromatography-atomic fluorescence spectroscopy,the distribution characteristics of methylmercury were analyzed,and the exposure risk of methylmercury to consumers was evaluated. The results showed that the content of methylmercury in the crab meat was higher than that of the crab butter. According to China's national standard and industry standard,the content of methylmercury in the crab meat was lower than the limit and accorded with relevant regulations.
