1Experimental studies on the P-T stability conditions and influencing factors of gas hydrate in different systems显示文摘The P-T stability conditions of gas hydrate in different systems (i.e., solution, silica sand, and marine sediment) were studied using multi-step decomposition method with our experimental equipment. The effects of different ions with various concentrations and sediment grains on the P-T stability conditions of gas hydrate were investigated. The results show that different ions have different influences on the phase equilibrium of gas hydrate. However, the influence of ions is in a similar trend: the larger the concentration, the bigger the P-T curve shifts to the left. For the silica sand, the influence of pore capillarity of coarse particles (> 460 μm) can be negligible. The P-T curve measured in coarse silica is in agreement with that in pure water. However, the influence of pore capillarity of fine particles (< 35 μm) is significant. The maximum reduction value of temperature is 1.5 K for methane hydrate under stable state. The sediment from the South China Sea significantly affects the P-T stability conditions of methane hydrate, with an average reduction value of 1.9 K within the experimental conditions. This is mainly the result of both the pore water salinity and the pore capillarity of sediment. 2MicroRNA-26a inhibits osteosarcoma cell proliferation by targeting IGF-1显示文摘There are still controversies about the roles of microRNA-26a(miR-26a)in human malignancies,as it is a tumor suppressor in breast cancer,gastric cancer,and hepatocellular carcinoma,but is an oncogene in glioma and cholangiocarcinoma.Until now,the function of miR-26a in osteosarcoma remains largely elusive.Here,we found that miR-26a was downregualted in osteosarcoma tissues.Using in vitro and in vivo assays,we confirmed that miR-26a could inhibit the abilities of in vitro proliferation and suppress in vivo tumor growth in mouse model.Furthermore,we identified insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1)as a novel and direct target of miR-26a and revealed that miR-26a exerted its tumor-suppressor function,at least in part,by inhibiting IGF-1expression.These findings contribute to our understanding of the functions of miR-26a in osteosarcoma.Xinyu Tan Shicai Fan Wen Wu Yin Zhang 2015Bone Research2015,3,4:8
3Preparation and hydrogen gas sensitive characteristics of highly ordered titania nanotube arrays显示文摘In this paper, we report the growth and characteristics of titania nanotube arrays prepared by anodic oxidation and then annealed in an oxygen atmosphere at 500℃. The titania nanotube arrays presented high sensitivity to hydrogen gas. The crystalline phase of the samples was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The differences in the nanotubes morphology attributed to the etched samples due to anodiza- tion potential, reaction time and the electrolyte concentration were analyzed by scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM). 7P-T stability conditions of methane hydrate in sediment from South China Sea显示文摘For reasonable assessment and safe exploitation of marine gas hydrate resource, it is important to determine the stability conditions of gas hydrates in marine sediment. In this paper, the seafloor water sample and sediment sample (saturated with pore water) from Shenhu Area of South China Sea were used to synthesize methane hydrates, and the stability conditions of methane hydrates were investigated by multi-step heating dissociation method. Preliminary experimental results show that the dissociation temperature of methane hydrate both in seafloor water and marine sediment, under any given pressure, is depressed by approximately -1.4 K relative to the pure water system. 8Qinling Orogenic Belt:Its Palaeozoic-Mesozoic Evolution and Metallogenesis显示文摘The formation, development and evolution of the Qinling erogenic belt can be divided into three stages: (1) formation and development of Precambrian basement in the Late Archaean-Palaeoproterozoic (3.0-1.6 Ga), (2) plate evolution (0.8-0.2 Ga), and (3) intracontinental orogeny and tectonic evolution in the Mesozoic.The Devonian (D) and Triassic (T) were the key transition period of the tectonic evolution of the Qinling orogenic belt. That is to say, in the Devonian, the Qinling micro-plate was separated from the northern margin of the Yangtze plate (passive continental margin). This period witnessed transition of the micro-plate from the compressional to ex-tensional state, and consequently three types of sedimentary basins were formed, namely, the rift hydrothermal basin in the micro-plate, restricted ocean basin in the south, and residual ocean basin resulting from collision on the northern margin. 9Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Au and Pb-Zn Mineralization:Phenomenon,Mechanism and Implication显示文摘In the 1990s, some median-large gold deposits have been discovered in several lead-zinc metalloge-netic belts (e.g. the Qinling lead-zinc metallogenetic belt, Shanxi Province and Gansu Province and the Qingchengzi lead-zinc ore field, Liaoning Province) in China. Gold deposits and lead-zinc deposits spatially co-exist in the same tectonic setting; lead-zinc orebodies are commonly located below gold ore bodies. The host rocks of lead-zinc ore-bodies are conformably overlain by those of gold ore bodies. The age of gold mineralization is obviously younger than that of lead-zinc mineralization. Preliminary geochemical research has demonstrated the following: lead-zinc mineralization took place in a marine sedimentary-exhalative system, which had the characteristics of a high fluid/rock ratio, a high salinity and a high halide activity; meanwhile, most of gold was transported into the low-temperature hydrothermal plume and primarily enriched in sediments. 10Predicted methylation landscape of all CpG islands on the human genome显示文摘CpG island methylation plays important role in various biological processes. To investigate methylation landscape of all CpG islands on the human genome, we develop a model for predicting the CpG island methylation status. This model outperforms other existing methods. We apply the model on the whole human genome and predict the landscape of DNA methylation of all CpG islands. Based on the methylation profile, we find that about 31% of CpG islands are methylation-prone and CpG islands located in promoter regions are seldom methylated. There is no significant difference in the CpG island methylation level between R and G bands among the chromosomes. 11Pore capillary pressure and saturation of methane hydrate bearing sediments显示文摘To better understand the relationship between the pore capillary pressure and hydrate saturation in sediments, a new method was proposed. First, the phase equilibria of methane hydrate in fine-grained silica sands were measured. As to the equilibrium data, the pore capillary pressure and saturation of methane hydrate were calculated. The results showed that the phase equilibria of methane hydrates in fine-grained silica sands changed due to the depressed activity of pore water caused by the surface group and negatively charged characteristic of silica particles as well as the capillary pressure in small pores together. The capillary pressure increased with the increase of methane hydrate saturation due to the decrease of the available pore space.
