1Heterogeneous parallel computing accelerated iterative subpixel digital image correlation显示文摘Parallel computing techniques have been introduced into digital image correlation(DIC) in recent years and leads to a surge in computation speed. The graphics processing unit(GPU)-based parallel computing demonstrated a surprising effect on accelerating the iterative subpixel DIC, compared with CPU-based parallel computing. In this paper, the performances of the two kinds of parallel computing techniques are compared for the previously proposed path-independent DIC method, in which the initial guess for the inverse compositional Gauss-Newton(IC-GN) algorithm at each point of interest(POI) is estimated through the fast Fourier transform-based cross-correlation(FFT-CC) algorithm. Based on the performance evaluation, a heterogeneous parallel computing(HPC) model is proposed with hybrid mode of parallelisms in order to combine the computing power of GPU and multicore CPU. A scheme of trial computation test is developed to optimize the configuration of the HPC model on a specific computer. 2Establishment and validation of standardized animal models of spinal cord injury by normal external force-caused fracture dislocation显示文摘The duplication of animal models plays a key role in spinal cord injury research; however, there has been limited study into normal, external force-derived fracture dislocation. This study adopted experimental devices, designed in-house, to construct standardized ventral and dorsal spinal cord injury animal models of 6 g and 17 g falling from a height of 2, 4, and 10 cm, and 15, 30 or 50 g transversal compression on the spinal cord. The results showed that gradual increases in the degree of histopathological injury led to decreased Tarlov and Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan scores for the behavioral test, and increased Ashworth scores for the hind limb. Furthermore, there was a gradual decline in the slope test in the rats with dorsal spinal cord injury that correlated to increases in the falling substance weight or falling height. Similar alterations were observed in the ventral spinal cord injured rats, proportional to the increase in compression weight. 5Serum mitochondrial tsRNA serves as a novel biomarker for hepatocarcinoma diagnosis显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),which makes up the majority of liver cancer,is induced by the infection of hepatitis B/C virus.Biomarkers are needed to facilitate the early detection of HCC,which is often diagnosed too late for effective therapy.The tRNA-derived small RNAs(tsRNAs)play vital roles in tumorigenesis and are stable in circulation.However,the diagnostic values and biological functions of circulating tsRNAs,especially for HCC,are still unknown.In this study,we first utilized RNA sequencing followed by quantitative reverse-transcription PCR to analyze tsRNA signatures in HCC serum.We identified tRF-Gln-TTG-006,which was remarkably upregulated in HCC serum(training cohort:24 HCC patients vs.24 healthy controls).In the validation stage,we found that tRF-Gln-TTG-006 signature could distinguish HCC cases from healthy subjects with high sensitivity(80.4%)and specificity(79.4%)even in the early stage(Stage I:sensitivity,79.0%;specificity,74.8%;155 healthy controls vs.153 HCC patients from two cohorts).Moreover,in vitro studies indicated that circulating tRF-Gln-TTG-006 was released from tumor cells,and its biological function was predicted by bioinformatics assay and validated by colony formation and apoptosis assays.In summary,our study demonstrated that serum tsRNA signature may serve as a novel biomarker of HCC.Shoubin Zhan Ping Yang Shengkai Zhou Ye Xu Rui Xu Gaoli Liang Chenyu Zhang Xi Chen Liuqing Yang Fangfang Jin Yanbo Wang 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2:2

9Temporal-spatial distributions of road silt loadings and fugitive road dust emissions in Beijing from 2019 to 2020显示文摘Road silt loading(sL)is an important parameter in the fugitive road dust(FRD)emissions.In this study,the improved Testing Re-entrained Aerosol Kinetic Emissions from Roads(TRAKER)combined with the AP-42 method was firstly developed to quickly measure and estimate the sLs of paved roads in Beijing,China.The annual average sLs in Beijing was 0.59±0.31 g/m^(2)in 2020,and decreased by 22.4%compared with that in 2019.The seasonal variations of sLs followed the order of spring>winter>summer>autumn in the two years.The seasonal mean road sLs on the same type road in the four seasons presented a decline trend from^(2)019 to 2020,especially on the Expressway,decreasing 47.4%-72.7%.The road sLs on the different type roads in the same season followed the order of Major arterial∼Minor arterial∼Branch road>Express road,and Township road∼Country highway>Provincial highway∼National highway.The emission intensities of PM10 and PM_(2.5)from FRD in Beijing in 2020 were lower than those in 2019.The PM10 and PM_(2.5)emission intensities at the four planning areas in the two years all presented the order of the capital functional core area>the urban functional expansion area>the urban development new area>the ecological conservation and development area.The annual emissions of PM10 and PM_(2.5)from FRD in Beijing in 2020 were 74,886 ton and 18,118 ton,respectively,decreasing by∼33.3%compared with those in 2019.Haibin Wang Lihui Han Tingting Li Song Qu Yuncheng Zhao Shoubin Fan Tong Chen Haoran Cui Junfang Liu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,10:1
10Migration routes,behavior and protection status of Eurasian Spoonbills(Platalea leucorodia)wintering in China显示文摘Background:The Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia)occurs throughout Eurasia and North and sub-Saharan Africa,with three recognized subspecies and six geographically distributed populations.However,in China,we knew almost nothing about migration routes,habitat use and effectiveness of current site protection measures for this species.Methods:We deployed Global Positioning System/Global System for Mobile Communications(GPS/GSM)satellite trackers on 29 Eurasian Spoonbills captured in summer in Mongolia and northeastern China,to obtain complete migration routes data from 10 individuals from 19 complete migration episodes.Results:Tracking data showed no geographical overlap during the annual cycle in Eurasian Spoonbills marked in the two main summering areas.Birds marked in the Naoli River Basin in Heilongjiang Province,China,wintered along the Jiangsu coastline in China,while Eurasian Spoonbills from two discrete summering areas(in Inner and western Mon-golia)overwintered inland in the Yangtze River floodplain of China.Excluding the single Inner Mongolian bird,spring migration was significantly faster than autumn migration in the other two groups of birds.Eurasian Spoonbills mainly used water,wetland and grassland habitats in summer,but almost exclusively water in winter.Lack of protection of staging sites used by all the birds in spring and poor levels of protection throughout the annual cycle for western Mongolian birds(5-22%)gives considerable cause for concern,although sites used in other time by East Mongolian and Naoli River birds in the rest of their annual life cycle enjoyed good levels of protection(49-95%).Conclusions:These results revealed previously unknown relationships between summering and wintering areas,migration routes and stopover sites for Eurasian Spoonbills wintering in China,suggesting the existence of discrete biogeographical population units.They also identified winter habitat use of Eurasian Spoonbills in China,confirming open water habitats as being critical throughout the annual cycle,although based on small sample size,gaps in cur-rent site safeguard networks for these populations.Jire Xi Xueqin Deng Gerelt Zhao Nyambayar Batbayar Iderbat Damba Qingshan Zhao Shoubin Cui Chao Jiang Yiwen Chen Yat-tung Yu Lei Cao Anthony David Fox 2021Avian Research2021,12,4:1
11Effect of substrate temperature on microstructural and optical properties of ZnO films grown by pulsed laser deposition显示文摘ZnO thin films were deposited on n-Si (111) at various substrate temperatures by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence (PL), Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to analyze the structure, morphology, and optical property of the ZnO thin films. An optimal crystallized ZnO thin film was obtained at the substrate temperature of 600°C. A blue shift was found in PL spectra due to size confinement effect as the grain sizes decreased. 19Peutz-Jeghers综合征相关性小肠腺癌:5例个案报道及文献综述(英文)显示文摘Peutz-Jeghers syndrome(PJS) is a rare autosomal dominant inherited disorder, manifested as multiple hamartomatous polyps of gastrointestinal tract, mucocutaneous pigmentations and increased risk of cancers. In this manuscript, we reported five cases of small intestinal carcinoma associated with the PJS. All the five patients have a history of PJS and postoperative pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of small intestinal carcinoma.
