| 1 | A Review on Graphene-Based Gas/Vapor Sensors with Unique Properties and Potential Applications显示文摘Graphene-based gas/vapor sensors have attracted much attention in recent years due to their variety of structures, unique sensing performances, room-temperature working conditions, and tremendous application prospects, etc.Herein, we summarize recent advantages in graphene preparation, sensor construction, and sensing properties of various graphene-based gas/vapor sensors, such as NH_3, NO_2, H_2, CO, SO_2, H_2S, as well as vapor of volatile organic compounds.The detection mechanisms pertaining to various gases are also discussed. In conclusion part, some existing problems which may hinder the sensor applications are presented. | 2 | A unified approach to type synthesis of both rigid and flexure parallel mechanisms显示文摘Type synthesis of both rigid and compliant parallel mechanisms has become a hot issue in the field of mechanisms and robotics research in recent years. A unified approach to type synthesis of the two classes of mechanisms, however, has not been referred and investigated up to date. Based on the state-of-art analysis for several major type synthesis approaches related to rigid and compliant mechanisms, respectively, it proves feasible to establish a unified methodology for type synthesis of these two classes of mechanisms. That is a synthesis philosophy in terms of the hierarchy mapping between mathematic, physical, and mechanical building blocks in the framework of screw theory, as addressed in this paper. The key point of the proposed method lies in establishing the mapping among three different building blocks (i.e. geometric building block, kinematic or constraint building block, and mechanical building block). As a result, it makes the whole type synthesis process simple and visible. By using the proposed method, two examples are taken to verify the effectiveness for the type synthesis of both rigid and flexure mechanisms. | 3 | Time-varying fault-tolerant formation tracking based cooperative control and guidance for multiple cruise missile systems under actuator failures and directed topologies显示文摘This paper studies time-varying fault-tolerant formation tracking problems for the multiple cruise missile system under directed topologies subjected to actuator failures. Firstly, the timevarying fault-tolerant formation tracking process for the multiple cruise missile system is divided into the guidance loop and the control loop. Then protocols are constructed to accomplish distributed fault-tolerant formation tracking in the guidance loop with the adaptive updating mechanism, in the condition where neither the knowledge about actuator malfunctions nor any global information of the communication topology remains available. Moreover, sufficient conditions to accomplish formation tracking are presented, and it is shown that the multiple cruise missile system can carry on the predefined time-varying fault-tolerant control (FTC) formation tracking through the active disturbances rejection controller (ADRC) and the proportion integration (PI) controller by the way of the fault-tolerant protocol utilizing the designed strategies, in the event of actuator failures. | 5 | Geochronology and Petrochemistry of Volcanic Rocks in the Xaignabouli Area, NW Laos显示文摘An integrated study of zircon U-Pb geochronology and petrochemistry, together with zircon Lu-Hf isotopes, has been carried out on the basaltic-andesitic tuff and volcanic breccia from the Nam Hang Formation and andesitic tuff from the Muang-Nan Formation in the Xaignabouli area, which had been mapped as the Permian–Early Triassic on the 1 : 1 000 000 geological map or Late Carboniferous on the 1 : 200 000 geological maps. Zircon U-Pb dating of three samples yielded weighted mean ages of 235±2.6, 232±1.4 and 278±2.8 Ma, respectively, suggesting a Late Triassic origin for the Nam Hang Formation and an Early Permian origin for the Muang-Nan Formation. Geochemically, they are characterized by depletions in HFSEs(e.g., Nb, Ta, Ti) and high LILE/HFSE ratios, and they have positive zircon ε_(Hf)(t) values of 8.7–15.9, which exhibits the continental arc volcanic affinity and partial melting of subducting oceanic slab in the magma source. Combined with spatial occurrence of the volcanic rock and existing geochronological and geochemical data, we suggest that the Xaignabouli-Luang Prabang volcanic belt can be linked to the Loei-Phetchabun belt. | 6 | Atomic Fe-Zn dual-metal sites for high-efficiency pH-universal oxygen reduction catalysis显示文摘An effective electrocatalyst being highly active in all pH range for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is crucial for energy conversion and storage devices.However,most of the high-efficiency ORR catalysis was reported in alkaline conditions.Herein,we demonstrated the preparation of atomically dispersed Fe-Zn pairs anchored on porous N-doped carbon frameworks(Fe-Zn-SA/NC),which works efficiently as ORR catalyst in the whole pH range.It achieves high half-wave potentials of 0.78,0.85 and 0.72 V in 0.1 M HClO4,0.1 M KOH and 0.1 M phosphate buffer saline(PBS)solutions,respectively,as well as respectable stability.The performances are even comparable to Pt/C.Furthermore,when assembled into a Zn-air battery,the high power density of 167.2 mWcm−2 and 120 h durability reveal the feasibility of Fe-Zn-SA/NC in real energy-related devices.Theoretical calculations demonstrate that the superior catalytic activity of Fe-Zn-SA/NC can be contributed to the lower energy barriers of ORR at the Fe-Zn-N6 centers.This work demonstrates the potential of Fe-Zn pairs as alternatives to the Pt catalysts for efficient catalytic ORR and provides new insights of dual-atom catalysts for other energy conversion related catalytic reactions. | Jie Xu Shuhua Lai Defeng Qi Min Hu Xianyun Peng Yifan Liu Wei Liu Guangzhi Hu Heng Xu Fan Li Chao Li Jia He Longchao Zhuo Jiaqiang Sun Yuan Qiu Shusheng Zhang Jun Luo Xijun Liu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,5: | 6 |
| 7 | Upregulation of Spinal Voltage-Dependent Anion Channel 1 Contributes to Bone Cancer Pain Hypersensitivity in Rats显示文摘Voltage-dependent anion channel 1(VDAC1) is thought to contribute to the progression of tumor development. However, whether VDAC1 contributes to bone cancer pain remains unknown. In this study, we found that the expression of VDAC1 was upregulated in the L2–5 segments of the spinal dorsal horn at 2 and 3 weeks after injection of tumor cells into the tibial cavity. Intrathecal injection of a VDAC1 inhibitor significantly reversed the pain hypersensitivity and reduced the over-expression of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4). | 9 | Beta-and Novel Delta-Coronaviruses Are Identified from Wild Animals in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘Outbreaks of severe virus infections with the potential to cause global pandemics are increasingly concerning. One type of those commonly emerging and re-emerging pathogens are coronaviruses(SARS-Co V, MERS-Co V and SARS-Co V-2).Wild animals are hosts of different coronaviruses with the potential risk of cross-species transmission. However, little is known about the reservoir and host of coronaviruses in wild animals in Qinghai Province, where has the greatest biodiversity among the world's high-altitude regions. Here, from the next-generation sequencing data, we obtained a known beta-coronavirus(beta-Co V) genome and a novel delta-coronavirus(delta-Co V) genome from faecal samples of 29 marmots, 50 rats and 25 birds in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China in July 2019. According to the phylogenetic analysis, the beta-Co V shared high nucleotide identity with Coronavirus HKU24. Although the novel delta-Co V(Mt Co V) was closely related to Sparrow deltacoronavirus ISU42824, the protein spike of the novel delta-Co V showed highest amino acid identity to Sparrow coronavirus HKU17(73.1%). Interestingly, our results identified a novel host(Montifringilla taczanowskii) for the novel delta-Co V and the potential cross-species transmission. The most recent common ancestor(t MRCA) of Mt Co Vs along with other closest members of the species of Coronavirus HKU15 was estimated to be 289 years ago. | 10 | Design of Compliant Straight-line Mechanisms Using Flexural Joints显示文摘Straight-line compliant mechanisms are important building blocks to design a linear-motion stage,which is very useful in precision applications.However,only a few configurations of straight-line compliant mechanisms are applicable.To construct more kinds of them,an approach to design large-displacement straight-line flexural mechanisms with rotational flexural joints is proposed,which is based on a viewpoint that the straight-line motion is regarded as a compromise of rigid and compliant parasitic motion of a rotational flexural joint.An analytical design method based on the Taylor series expansion is proposed to quickly obtain an approximate solution.To illustrate and verify the proposed method,two kinds of flexural joints,cross-axis hinge and leaf-type isosceles-trapezoidal flexural(LITF)pivot are used to reconstruct straight-line flexural mechanisms.Their performances are obtained by analytic and FEA method respectively.The comparisons of the results show the accuracy of the approach.Both examples show that the proposed approach can convert a large-deflection flexural joint into approximate straight-line mechanism with a high linearity that is higher than 5 000within 5 mm displacement.This can lead to a new way to design,analyze or optimize straight-line flexure mechanisms. | PEI Xu YU Jingjun ZONG Guanghua BI Shusheng | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1: | 3 |
| 11 | Geology, Geochronology, and Hf Isotopic Composition of the Pha Lek Fe Deposit, Northern Laos: Implications for Early Permian Subduction-Related Skarn Fe Mineralization in the Truong Son Belt显示文摘The Truong Son metallogenic belt in central Laos and Vietnam is an important Fe-Cu-Sn-Au polymetallic ore district. The Pha Lek Fe deposit is closely related to Late Carboniferous– Early Permian I-type granitic magmatism, and contains >50 Mt @ 45% to 50% of Fe ore. Ore minerals occur mainly as magnetite and hematite in the skarn alteration zone between a granitic pluton and metamorphosed Middle–Upper Devonian carbonates. The granitic pluton comprises granodiorite and granite, with zircon U-Pb dating indicating synchronous emplacement at 288.2±1.3 and 284.9±1.2 Ma, respectively. Zircons from these granitoids have ε_(Hf)(t) values of 2.9–11.2 and relatively young TDM2 ages(<1.0 Ga), indicating an origin by partial melting of depleted mafic crust or magma mixing. Previous studies have shown that these granitoids have high Y, Yb, and K_2O contents, and low Sr and Na_2O contents, which are interpreted as the melting of mafic continental crust. Pyrite of the main mineralization stage yields an ^(187)Re/^(188)Os-^(187)Os/^(188)Os isochron age of 287±17 Ma, indicating that mineralization is associated with Pha Lek granitic magmatism. A Late Carboniferous–Early Permian subduction-related skarn-type Fe mineralization model is proposed for the Pha Lek deposit. | 17 | Trimetallic synergistic optimization of 0D NiCoFe-P QDs anchoring on 2D porous carbon for efficient electrocatalysis and high-energy supercapacitor显示文摘Developing multi-functional and low-cost noble-metal-free catalysts such as transition metal phosphides(TMPs)to replace noble-metal is of practical significance for energy conversion and storage.However,the low-durability and the agglomeration phenomenon during the electrochemical process limit their practical applications.Herein,using metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)as the precursor and a combined strategy of gradient temperature calcination and thermal phosphorization,a 0D/2D heterostructure of NiCoFe-P quantum dots(QDs)anchored on porous carbon was successfully developed as highly efficient electrode materials for overall water splitting and supercapacitors.Owing to this distinctive 0D/2D heterostructure and the synergistic effect of multi-metallic TMPs,the NiCoFe-P/C exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity and durability of HER(87 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2))and OER(257 mV at 100 mA cm^(-2))in the KOH electrolyte.When NiCoFe-P/C is used as the two electrodes of electrolyzed water,only 1.55 V can drive the current density to 10 m A cm^(-2).At the same time,our NiCoFe-P/C possessed extraordinary property for charge storage.In particular,an ultra-high energy density of 100.8 Wh kg^(-1) was achieved at a power density of 900.0 W kg^(-1) for our assembled hybrid supercapacitor device NiCoFe-P/C(2:1)//activated carbon(AC).This work may open a potential way for the design of 0D/2D hybrid multifunctional nanomaterials based on TMPs QDs. | Ruiqi Liu Xue-Rong Shi Yi Wen Xiaoxuan Shao Chen Su Jing Hu Shusheng Xu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11: | 1 |
| 18 | DFT-assisted rational design of CoM_(x)P/CC(M=Fe,Mn,and Ni) as efficient electrocatalyst for wide pH range hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution显示文摘Rational design of highly active transition-metal phosphides for electrocatalyzing overall water splitting in a wide pH range assisted by first-principle calculations can efficiently save the developing cost and hence is quite attractive.Under the guidance of density-functional theory(DFT)calculations that the introduction of dopants(Fe,Mn,and Ni)into CoP could promote the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performances,a series of binder-free CoM_(x)P/carbon cloth(CC;M=Fe,Mn,and Ni;x=0,0.05,0.2,0.5,and 1)were fabricated.Both experimental measurements and DFT calculations confirm the electronic modulation of dopants.DFT calculations further reveal that the modulated electronic structure promotes the electronic conductivity,favors the adsorption of key species,and consequently promotes the electrochemical performances.As predicted,the bimetallic phosphides demonstrate excellent HER performances in alkaline,acidic,and alkaline simulated seawater solutions and also deliver excellent oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performances,overwhelming the commercial RuO_(2).Benefiting from the modulated electronic structure and the hierarchical structure with massive CoFe0.05P zero-dimensional(0D)quantum dots anchored on two-dimensional(2D)N-doped porous carbon,CoFe0.05P delivered the best HER in four kinds of electrolytes(ƞ10 of 73 mV in an alkaline simulated seawater solution)and OER in two kinds of electrolytes(ƞ10 of 264 mV in an alkaline solution)with excellent stability of 45 h in the alkaline solution.The assembled CoFe0.05P/CC//CoFe0.05P/CC with the electrodes folded by 180°can still maintain a low cell potential of 1.62 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2).This work proves the feasibility of the reported rational design strategy of developing efficient electrocatalysts for overall water splitting in a wide pH range. | Xiangrui Zhang Chunyan Sun Shusheng Xu Mengru Huang Yi Wen Xue-Rong Shi | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,10: | 1 |
