1A Pricing Model for Big Personal Data显示文摘Big Personal Data is growing explosively. Consequently, an increasing number of internet users are drowning in a sea of data. Big Personal Data has enormous commercial value; it is a new kind of data asset. An urgent problem has thus arisen in the data market: How to price Big Personal Data fairly and reasonably. This paper proposes a pricing model for Big Personal Data based on tuple granularity, with the help of comparative analysis of existing data pricing models and strategies. This model is put forward to implement positive rating and reverse pricing for Big Personal Data by investigating data attributes that affect data value, and analyzing how the value of data tuples varies with information entropy, weight value, data reference index, cost, and other factors. The model can be adjusted dynamically according to these parameters. 2Biosorption of Cu(Ⅱ) on extracellular polymers from Bacillus sp.F19显示文摘Biosorption can be an effective process for the removal of heavy metals from aqueous solutions.The adsorption of Cu(Ⅱ) from aqueous solution on the extracellular polymers (EPS) from Bacillus sp.(named MBFF19) with respect to pH,incubation time,concentration of initial Cu(Ⅱ),and biosorbent dose was studied.Biosorption of Cu(Ⅱ) is highly pH dependent.The maximum uptake of Cu(Ⅱ) (89.62 mg/g) was obtained at pH 4.8.Biosorption equilibrium was established in approximately 10 min.The correlation coeffcient of more than 0.90 turned out that the adsorption process of Cu(Ⅱ) on MBFF19 was in accordance with both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms.The pseudo-first and second order models were applied to examine the kinetics of the adsorption,whereas the latter was found to be in harmony with the kinetic data better.Because of the outstanding uptake capacity of Cu(Ⅱ),MBFF19 produced by Bacillus sp.was proved to be an excellent biosorbent for removing Cu(Ⅱ) from aqueous solutions.ZHENG Yan,FANG Xuliang,YE Zhilong,LI Yahong,CAI weimin School of Environmental Science and Engineering,Shanghai Jiao Tong University,Shanghai 200240,China. 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,11:15
3Effect of Trichoderma viride biofertilizer on ammonia volatilization from an alkaline soil in Northern China显示文摘Ammonia(NH3) volatilization is one of the primary pathways of nitrogen(N) loss from soils after chemical fertilizer is applied, especially from the alkaline soils in Northern China, which results in lower efficiency for chemical fertilizers. Therefore, we conducted an incubation experiment using an alkaline soil from Tianjin(p H 8.37–8.43) to evaluate the suppression effect of Trichoderma viride(T. viride) biofertilizer on NH3 volatilization, and compared the differences in microbial community structure among all samples. The results showed that viable T. viride biofertilizer(T) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 42.21% compared with conventional fertilizer((CK), urea), while nonviable T. viride biofertilizer(TS) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 32.42%. NH_3 volatilization was significantly higher in CK and sweet potato starch wastewater(SPSW) treatments during the peak period. T. viride biofertilizer also improved the transfer of ammonium from soil to sweet sorghum. Plant dry weights increased 91.23% and 61.08% for T and TS, respectively, compared to CK. Moreover, T. viride biofertilizer enhanced nitrification by increasing the abundance of ammonium-oxidizing archaea(AOA) and ammonium-oxidizing bacteria(AOB). The results of high-throughput sequencing indicated that the microbial community structure and composition were significantly changed by the application of T. viride biofertilizer. 4Haze insights and mitigation in China: An overview显示文摘The present article provides an overview of the chemical and physical features of haze in China, focusing on the relationship between haze and atmospheric fine particles, and the formation mechanism of haze. It also summarizes several of control technologies and strategies to mitigate the occurrence of haze. The development of instruments and the analysis of measurements of ambient particles and precursor concentrations have provided important information about haze formation. Indeed, the use of new instruments has greatly facilitated current haze research in China. Examples of insightful results include the relationship between fine particles and haze, the chemical compositions and sources of particles, the impacts of the aging process on haze formation, and the application of technologies that control the formation of haze. 5The intrinsic mechanism of corrosion resistance for FCC high entropy alloys显示文摘The concept of high entropy alloys(HEAs) or multi-principal component alloys has inspired a great progress of physical metallurgy along with several unusual phenomena. The high corrosion resistance of HEAs was frequently mentioned but without convincing explanations. In this paper, the intrinsic mechanism of corrosion resistance in FCC HEAs was revealed by designing equal atomic alloys with single solid solution phase. 6Long-and short-chain AHLs affect AOA and AOB microbial community composition and ammonia oxidation rate in activated sludge显示文摘Quorum sensing(QS)regulation of the composition of ammonia-oxidising archaea(AOA)and ammonia-oxidising bacteria(AOB)communities and functions in wastewater treatment was investigated.Specifically,we explored the role of N-acyl-L-homoserine lactones(AHLs)in microbial community dynamics in activated sludge.On average,the specific ammoniaoxidising-rate increased from 1.6 to 2.8 mg NH_4^+-N/g MLSS/hr after treatment with long-chain AHLs for 16 days,and the addition of AHLs to sludge resulted in an increased number of AOA/AOB amoA genes.Significant differences were observed in the AOA communities of control and AHL-treated cultures,but not the AOB community.Furthermore,the dominant functional AOA strains of the Crenarchaeota altered their ecological niche in response to AHL addition.These results provide evidence that AHLs play an important role in mediating AOA/AOB microbial community parameters and demonstrate the potential for application of QS to the regulation of nitrogen compound metabolism in wastewater treatment.Jie Gao Yu Duan Ying Liu Xuliang Zhuang Yichen Liu Zhihui Bai Wenlin Ma Guoqiang Zhuang 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,4:11
7Substrate-induced changes in microbial community-level physiological profiles and their application to discriminate soil microbial communities显示文摘The addition of simple substrates could affect the microbial respiration in soils. This substrate-induced respiration is widely used to estimate the soil microbial biomass, but little attention has been paid to its influence on the changes of community-level physiological profiles. In this study, the process of microbial communities responding to the added substrate using sole-carbon-source utilization (BIOLOG) was investigated. BIOLOG is biased toward fast-growing bacteria; this advantage was taken to detect the prompt response of the active microbial communities to the added substrate. Four soil samples from agricultural fields adjacent to heavy metal mines were amended with L-arginine, citric acid, or D-glucose. Substrate amendments could, generally, not only increase the metabolic activity of the microbial communities, but also change the metabolic diverse patterns compared with no-substrate control. By tracking the process, it was found that the variance between substrate-induced treatment and control fluctuated greatly during the incubation course, and the influences of these three substrates were different. In addition, the application of these induced changes to discriminate soil microbial communities was tested. The distance among all samples was greatly increased, which further showed the functional variance among microbial communities in soils. 9Restoration of electrical microenvironment enhances bone regeneration under diabetic conditions by modulating macrophage polarization显示文摘Macrophage-mediated inflammation compromises bone repair in diabetic patients.Electrical signaling cues are known to regulate macrophage functions.However,the biological effects of electrical microenvironment from charged biomaterials on the immune response for regulating osteogenesis under diabetic conditions remain to be elucidated.Herein the endogeneous electrical microenvironment of native bone tissue was recapitulated by fabricating a ferroelectric BaTiO_(3)/poly(vinylidene fluoridetrifluoroethylene)(BTO/P(VDF-TrFE))nanocomposite membrane.In vitro,the polarized BaTiO_(3)/poly(vinylidene fluoridetrifluoroethylene)(BTO/P(VDF-TrFE))nanocomposite membranes inhibited high glucose-induced M1-type inflammation,by effecting changes in cell morphology,M1 marker expression and pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion in macrophages.This led to enhanced osteogenic differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BM-MSCs).In vivo,the biomimetic electrical microenvironment recapitulated by the polarized nanocomposite membranes switched macrophage phenotype from the pro-inflammatory(M1)into the pro-healing(M2)phenotype,which in turn enhanced bone regeneration in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Mechanistic studies revealed that the biomimetic electrical microenvironment attenuated pro-inflammatory M1 macrophage polarization under hyperglycemic conditions by suppressing expression of AKT2 and IRF5 within the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway,thereby inducing favorable osteo-immunomodulatory effects.Our study thus provides fundamental insights into the biological effects of restoring the electrical microenvironment conducive for osteogenesis under DM conditions,and offers an effective strategy to design functionalized biomaterials for bone regeneration therapy in diabetic patients.Xiaohan Dai Boon Chin Heng Yunyang Bai Fuping You Xiaowen Sun Yiping Li Zhangui Tang Mingming Xu Xuehui Zhang Xuliang Deng 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:9

11Effects of exogenous short-chain N-acyl homoserine lactone on denitrifying process of Paracoccus denitrificans显示文摘N-acyl-homoserine lactones(AHLs) serve as quorum-sensing signals, which control a number of bacterial processes in many proteobacteria. Here we report the effects of exogenous short-chain AHL on the denitrifying process of Paracoccus denitrificans, which are capable of aerobic and anaerobic growth by utilizing nitrate. The denitrification activity of these cells was monitored by measuring denitrification products(including nitrate, nitrite,and nitrous oxide), and the individual messenger ribonucleic acid(m RNA) levels of nitrate,nitrite, nitric oxide and nitrous oxide reductases. The results indicated that 2 μmol/L C6-homoserine lactone(HSL) has little effect on cell density under either anaerobic or aerobic culture conditions, and the nitrate reduction activity appeared slightly affected by N-hexanoyl-DL-homoserine lactone(C6-HSL). However, exogenous C6-HSL significantly affected the transcription of nitrite reductase and nitric oxide reductase genes in P.denitrificans regardless of the presence of oxygen, and N_2O accumulation activity in P. denitrificans was suppressed by C6-HSL under aerobic condition. 14A model for predicting bubble rise velocity in a pulsed gas solid fluidized bed显示文摘Bed stability, and especially the bed density distribution, is affected by the behavior of bubbles in a gas solid fluidized bed. Bubble rise velocity in a pulsed gas-solid fluidized bed was studied using photographic and computational fluid dynamics methods. The variation in bubble rise velocity was investigated as a function of the periodic pulsed air flow. A predictive model of bubble rise velocity was derived: ub=ψ(Ut+Up-Umf)+kp(gdb)(1/2). The software of Origin was used to fit the empirical coefficients to give ψ = 0.4807 and kp = 0.1305. Experimental verification of the simulations shows that the regular change in bubble rise velocity is accurately described by the model. 15Effects of sintered metal distributor on fluidization quality of the air dense medium fluidized bed显示文摘Dry coal beneficiation using an air dense medium fluidized bed (ADMFB) requires the formation of a sta- ble and uniform bed from the dense medium. Others have shown that the structure and geometric parameters of the air distributor have a significant influence on the experimentally observed fluidization quality. In this study we used a sintered metal distributor (SMD) in the ADMFB separator and study its effect on the fluidization quality. The results show that for the same open area ratio (OAR), a smaller aper- ture in the SMD will provide improved fluidization quality. If aperture size is held constant bigger open area ratios result in improved fluidization quality. And, the fluidization quality also improves when the pressure drop across the SMD increases. 16Matrix stiffness modulates tip cell formation through the p-PXN-Rac1-YAP signaling axis显示文摘Endothelial tip cell outgrowth of blood-vessel sprouts marks the initiation of angiogenesis which is critical in physiological and pathophysiological procedures.However,how mechanical characteristics of extracellular matrix(ECM)modulates tip cell formation has been largely neglected.In this study,we found enhanced CD31 expression in the stiffening outer layer of hepatocellular carcinoma than in surrounding soft tissues.Stiffened matrix promoted sprouting from endothelial cell(EC)spheroids and upregulated expressions of tip cell-enriched genes in vitro.Moreover,tip cells showed increased cellular stiffness,more actin cytoskeleton organization and enhanced YAP nuclear transfer than stalk and phalanx ECs.We further uncovered that substrate stiffness regulates FAK and Paxillin phosphorylation in focal adhesion of ECs promoting Rac1 transition from inactive to active state.YAP is subsequently activated and translocated into nucleus,leading to increased tip cell specification.p-Paxillin can also loosen the intercellular connection which also facilitates tip cell specification.Collectively our present study shows that matrix stiffness modulates tip cell formation through p-PXN-Rac1-YAP signaling axis,shedding light on the role of mechanotransduction in tip cell formation.This is of special significance in biomaterial design and treatment of some pathological situations.Yaru Guo Feng Mei Ying Huang Siqin Ma Yan Wei Xuehui Zhang Mingming Xu Ying He Boon Chin Heng Lili Chen Xuliang Deng 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,1:4
17Watt-level broadly wavelength tunable mode-locked solid-state laser in the 2 μm water absorption region显示文摘We report on broadly wavelength-tunable passive mode-locking with high power operating at the 2 μm water absorption band in a Tm:CYA crystal laser. With a simple quartz plate, stable mode-locking wavelengths can be tuned from 1874 to 1973 nm, with a tunable wavelength range up to ~100 nm and maximum output power up to 1.35 W. The bandwidth is narrow as ~6 GHz, corresponding to a high coherence. 18Chemical Synthesis Residual Pyrolysis and Combustion: Kinetics and Evolved Gases Investigated by TG-FTIR显示文摘Chemical synthetic residual is one of the solid wastes generated from pharmaceutical industry.The pyrolysis and combustion characteristics of chemical synthesis residual were investigated using a thermogravimetric analyser coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(TG-FTIR)in this study.The processes of pyrolysis and combustion can be divided into three stages.The average weight loss rate of pyrolysis process at low temperature was higher than that of combustion.The kinetic parameters of chemical synthesis residual during pyrolysis and combustion were calculated based on the TG results.Acetic acid and 4-aminophenol were the main evolved matter observed in the pyrolysis process.The emission characteristics of combustion at low temperature were similar to that of the pyrolysis,while CO2 was found as the major gaseous product at high temperature.A high temperature about 850°C is needed to make sure the complete combustion of chemical synthesis residual.FANG Chunqi JIANG Xuguang LV Guojun YAN Jianhua LIN Xuliang SONG Huibo CAO Junjun 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,1:3
19Dielectric and Ferroelectric Properties of BaTiO_3 Nanofibers Prepared via Electrospinning显示文摘BaTiO3 nanofibers of about 400 nm in diameter were synthesized via electrospinning.The evolution of the morphology and phase composition of the BaTiO3 nanofibers was studied by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction within the annealing temperature of 750-1050 ℃.Higher annealing temperature led to rougher surface and better crystallization of the BaTiO3 nanofibers.Below 1050 ℃,the BaTiO3 nanofibers maintained its large aspect ratios and could still be regarded as individual nanofiber.The dielectric permittivities of the BaTiO3 nanofibers(εr 820) were calculated with the MG equation by considering the porous bulk specimens as composites of BaTiO3 nanofibers and air.The ferroelectric properties of the BaTiO3nanofibers were measured by using a ferroelectric analyzer coupled with an atomic force microscope.P-E loop measured for the BaTiO3 nanofiber exhibits small hysteresis.Yan Wei Yu Song Xuliang Deng Bing Han Xuehui Zhang Yang Shen Yuanhua Lin 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,8:3
