1Characterization of a Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3)alloy both containing W phase and LPSO phase with or without heat treatment显示文摘The influence of solid solution treatment on the microstructure and corrosion resistance of as-cast Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) alloy is characterized.The microstructure of the as-cast Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) alloy mainly consisted ofα-Mg,W(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2))phase,and the long period stacking ordered(LPSO)(Mg_(12)ZnY)phase.After solid solution treatment,most of the W phase disappears gradually with increasing solution treatment time,with only a small amount of W phase distributed as particle.The LPSO phase slightly dissolved into substrate,and its morphology transitions from blocky shape to rod shape.Solid solution treatment of Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) exhibits excellent corrosion resistance,because the Y and Zn atoms became enriched in the matrix and the changed morphologies of the LPSO and W phases were modified through heat treatment.The alloy created with solid solution treatment at 520 ℃ for 10 hours exhibits corrosion potential of−1.419 V,suggesting a significant improvement in corrosion performance.Li Zhumin Wan Diqing Huang Yi Ye Shuting Hu Yinglin 2017Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2017,5,2:8
2Preparation, characterization, antimicrobial and cytotoxicity studies of copper/zincloaded montmorillonite显示文摘Background: A series of modified montmorillonites(Mt) including zinc-loaded Mt(Zn-Mt), copper-loaded Mt(Cu-Mt), copper/zinc-loaded Mt with different Cu/Zn ratio(Cu/Zn-Mt-1, Cu/Zn-Mt-2, Cu/Zn-Mt-3) were prepared by an ion-exchange reaction, and characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD), fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The specific surface areas, antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity of the modified Mt were investigated.Results: In the modified Mt, hydrated Cu ions and Zn ions were exchanged in the interlayer space of Mt and the particles were irregular shapes. The results showed that Cu/Zn-Mt enhanced antibacterial and antifungal activity compared with Zn-Mt and Cu-Mt possibly due to the synergistic effect between Cu and Zn. Among the Cu/Zn-Mt with different Cu/Zn raitos, Cu/Zn-Mt with a Cu/Zn ratio of 0.98 or 0.51 showed higher antimicrobial activity against gram-negative bacteria(Escherichia coli), gram-positive bacteria(Staphylococcus aureus), fungi(Candida albicans).Moreover, the antimicrobial activity of Cu/Zn-Mt was correlated with its specific surface area. 3A Distributed Approach of Big Data Mining for Financial Fraud Detection in a Supply Chain显示文摘Supply Chain Finance(SCF)is important for improving the effectiveness of supply chain capital operations and reducing the overall management cost of a supply chain.In recent years,with the deep integration of supply chain and Internet,Big Data,Artificial Intelligence,Internet of Things,Blockchain,etc.,the efficiency of supply chain financial services can be greatly promoted through building more customized risk pricing models and conducting more rigorous investment decision-making processes.However,with the rapid development of new technologies,the SCF data has been massively increased and new financial fraud behaviors or patterns are becoming more covertly scattered among normal ones.The lack of enough capability to handle the big data volumes and mitigate the financial frauds may lead to huge losses in supply chains.In this article,a distributed approach of big data mining is proposed for financial fraud detection in a supply chain,which implements the distributed deep learning model of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)on big data infrastructure of Apache Spark and Hadoop to speed up the processing of the large dataset in parallel and reduce the processing time significantly.By training and testing on the continually updated SCF dataset,the approach can intelligently and automatically classify the massive data samples and discover the fraudulent financing behaviors,so as to enhance the financial fraud detection with high precision and recall rates,and reduce the losses of frauds in a supply chain.Hangjun Zhou Guang Sun Sha Fu Xiaoping Fan Wangdong Jiang Shuting Hu Lingjiao Li 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8:3
4Effects of dietary tributyrin on intestinal mucosa development,mitochondrial function and AMPK-mTOR pathway in weaned pigs显示文摘Background:The objective of this experiment was to investigate the influence of dietary tributyrin on intestinal mucosa development,oxidative stress,mitochondrial function and AMPK-mTOR signaling pathway.Methods:Seventy-two pigs were divided into two treatments and received either a basal diet or the same diet supplemented with 750 mg/kg tributyrin.Each treatment has six replicates of six pigs.After 14 days,6 pigs from each treatment were selected and the jejunal samples were collected.Results:Results showed that supplemental tributyrin increased(P<0.05)villus height and villus height:crypt depth of weaned pigs.Pigs fed tributyrin had greater(P<0.05)RNA/DNA and protein/DNA ratios than pigs on the control group.The mRNA levels of sodium glucose transport protein-1 and glucose transporter-2 in the jejunum were upregulated(P<0.05)in pigs fed the tributyrin diet.Dietary tributyrin supplementation lowered(P<0.05)the malondialdehyde and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)content in jejunum,enhanced(P<0.05)the mitochondrial function,as demonstrated by decreased(P<0.05)reactive oxygen species level and increased(P<0.05)mitochondrial membrane potential.Furthermore,tributyrin increased(P<0.05)mitochondrial DNA content and the mRNA abundance of genes related to mitochondrial functions,including peroxisomal proliferator-activated receptor-γcoactivator-1α,mitochondrial transcription factor A,nuclear respiratory factor-1 in the jejunum.Supplementation with tributyrin elevated(P<0.05)the phosphorylation level of AMPK and inhibited(P<0.05)the phosphorylation level of mTOR in jejunum compared with the control group.Conclusions:These findings suggest that dietary supplementation with tributyrin promotes intestinal mucosa growth,extenuates oxidative stress,improves mitochondrial function and modulates the AMPK-mTOR signal pathway of weaned pigs.Chunchun Wang Shuting Cao Zhuojun Shen Qihua Hong Jie Feng Yan Peng Caihong Hu 2020Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2020,11,2:3
5How delaying post-silking senescence in lower leaves of maize plants increases carbon and nitrogen accumulation and grain yield显示文摘Planting maize at high densities leads to early leaf senescence,and the resulting reduction in the number of lower leaves affects the plant’s root function and lowers its grain yield.However,the nature of the process by which lower leaf senescence affects biomass accumulation and grain yield formation in maize is not clear.This study aimed to shed light on how these factors are related by investigating the effects of the plant growth regulator 6-benzyladenine(6-BA)on the senescence of lower leaves of maize plants.In two maize cultivars planted at densities of 67,500(low density,LD)and 90,000(high density,HD)plants ha^(-1),plants treated with 6-BA maintained a high green leaf area index(LAI)longer than control(CK)plants,enabling them to maintain a higher photosynthetic rate for a longer period of time and produce more biomass before reaching physiological maturity.Spraying the lower leaves of maize plants with a 6-BA solution increased the distribution of;C-photosynthates to their roots,lower leaves and bracts,a result that can be ascribed to a decreased retention of;C-photosynthates in the stem and grain.In both seasons of the experiment,maize plants treated with 6-BA accumulated more N in grain and maintained a higher N content in roots and leaves,especially in lower leaves,than CK.Increased C assimilation in the lower leaves may explain why N uptake in plants subjected to the 6-BA treatment exceeded that in CK plants and why both photosynthesis rate and dry matter accumulation were maintained throughout grain filling.Our results suggest that a suitable distribution of C and N in leaves post-silking may maintain plant root function,increase N use efficiency,maximize the duration of high LAI,and increase grain yield.Rongfa Li Dandan Hu Hao Ren Qinglong Yang Shuting Dong Jiwang Zhang Bin Zhao Peng Liu 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,3:2
6Conserved and differentiated functions of CIK receptor kinases in modulating stem cell signaling in Arabidopsis显示文摘The shoot apical meristem(SAM)and root apical meristem(RAM)act as pools of stem cells that give rise to aboveground and underground tissues and organs in higher plants,respectively.The CLAVATA3(CLV3)-WUSCHEL(WUS)negative-feedback loop acts as a core pathway controlling SAM homeostasis,while CLV3/EMBRYO SURROUNDING REGION(ESR)40(CLE40)and WUSCHEL-RELATED HOMEOBOX5(WOX5),homologs of CLV3 and WUS,direct columella stem cell fate.Moreover,CLV3 INSENSITIVE KINASES(CIKs)have been shown to be essential for maintaining SAM homeostasis,whereas whether they regulate the distal root meristem remains to be elucidated.Here,we report that CIKs are indispensable for transducing the CLE40 signal to maintain homeostasis of the distal root meristem.We found that the cik mutant roots displayed disrupted quiescent center and delayed columella stem cell(CSC)differentiation.Biochemical assays demonstrated that CIKs interact with ARABIDOPSIS CRINKLY4(ACR4)in a ligand-independent manner and can be phosphorylated by ACR4 in vitro.In addition,the phosphorylation of CIKs can be rapidly induced by CLE40,which partially depends on ACR4.Although CIKs act as conserved and redundant regulators in the SAM and RAM,our results demonstrated that they exhibit differentiated functions in these meristems.Yafen Zhu Chong Hu Yanwei Cui Li Zeng Sunjingnan Li Mingsong Zhu Fanhui Meng Shuting Huang Li Long Jing Yi Jia Li Xiaoping Gou 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,7:2
7Occurrence and impact of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins/dibenzofurans in the air and soil around a municipal solid waste incinerator显示文摘To assess the influence of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs) on the environment in the vicinity of municipal solid waste incinerators(MSWIs), we determined the levels of PCDD/Fs in air and soil samples collected around a MSWI, which is the largest in China. The International Toxicity Equivalency Quantity(I-TEQ) concentrations of PCDD/Fs in air samples were from 0.0300 to 1.03 pg I-TEQ/m^3(0.445–13.6 pg/m^3), with an average of 0.237 pg I-TEQ/m^3, while in soil samples they ranged from 0.520 to 3.40 pg I-TEQ/g(2.41–88.7 pg/g) with an average of1.49 pg I-TEQ/g. The concentrations of PCDD/Fs in air and soil samples were comparable to other areas, and Pe CDFs were the dominant contributors, which was different from stack gas homologue patterns. Multivariate statistical analysis showed that PCDD/Fs emission from the MSWI did not directly affect the profiles of PCDD/Fs in air and soils, so that vehicles and unidentified emission sources should be considered. The daily inhalation levels of PCDD/Fs for children(0.0110 to 0.392 pg I-TEQ/(kg·day) and adults(0.00600 to 0.221 pg I-TEQ/(kg·day) near the MSWI were lower than the tolerable daily intake of 1.00 to 4.00 pg WHO-TEQ/(kg·day), but in winter the values were higher than in summer. 8Poor development of spike differentiation triggered by lower photosynthesis and carbon partitioning reduces summer maize yield after waterlogging显示文摘Stable yield of staple grains must be ensured to satisfy food demands for daily dietary energy requirements against the backdrop of global climate change. Summer maize, a staple crop, suffers severe yield losses due to extreme rainfall events, threatening food security. A randomized block experiment with four treatments: control, no water stress(CK);waterlogging for 6 days at the third leaf, sixth leaf stage,and 10 th day after tasseling, was conducted to investigate the mechanism of waterlogging-induced yield losses of summer maize. Waterlogging delayed plant growth and impaired tassel and ear differentiation,leading to high grain yield losses of Denghai 605(DH605). Waterlogging at third leaf(V3) stage reduced the photosynthesis of DH605, reducing total dry matter weight. Waterlogging at V3 stage reduced sucrose-cleaving enzymes activities in spike nodes and ears, reducing the carbon partitioned to ears(–53.1%), shanks(–46.5%), and ear nodes(–71.5%) but increasing the carbon partitioned to ear leaves(9.6%) and tassels(43.9%) in comparison with CK. 9Spatial patterns of residents’ daily activity space and its influencing factors based on the CatBoost model: A case study of Nanjing, China显示文摘The complexity and fragmentation of people’s activity space are challenging to planners.However,the relevant studies are mostly concerned on the relationship between the social attributes and the activity space of residents in a single or several communities,or the spatiotemporal laws of activity space on a macro scale.The research on the spatial characteristics of residents’activity space still needs to be strengthened.The present study analyses the spatial patterns of residents’activity space based on mobile phone signaling data to fill the gap of previous studies that assessed residents’activity space across small geographic areas.First,according to the spatial scope and direction of an activity space and residents’activity coverage rate,spatial patterns can be divided into three types:compact,extended,and directional extension patterns.The CatBoost method is then used to statistically analyze the influencing variables of spatial patterns,and the order of importance of the following influencing factors is determined:the built environment is more influential than social and economic situations.This study aims to strengthen the understanding of residents’activity space at the spatial level and provide a basis for the optimization of communities with different spatial patterns.Jiemin Zheng Mingxing Hu Chenghui Wang Shuting Wang Bing Han Hui Wang 2022Frontiers of Architectural Research2022,11,6:1

11Improvement of a highly sensitive and specific whole-cell biosensor by adding a positive feedback amplifier显示文摘In this study,we designed a Cd^(2+)whole-cell biosensor with both positive and negative feedback cascade am-plifiers in Pseudomonas putida KT2440(LTCM)based on our previous design with only a negative feedback amplifier(TCM).The results showed that the newly developed biosensor LTCM was greatly improved compared to TCM.Firstly,the linear response range of LTCM was expanded while the maximum linear response range was raised from 0.05 to 0.1μM.Meanwhile,adding a positive feedback amplifier further increased the fluorescence output signal of LTCM 1.11–2.64 times under the same culture conditions.Moreover,the response time of LTCM for detection of practical samples was reduced from 6 to 4 h.At the same time,LTCM still retained very high sensitivity and specificity,while its lowest detection limit was 0.1 nM Cd^(2+)and the specificity was 23.29(compared to 0.1 nM and 17.55 in TCM,respectively).In summary,the positive and negative feedback cascade amplifiers effectively improved the performance of the biosensor LTCM,resulting in a greater linear response range,higher output signal intensity,and shorter response time than TCM while retaining comparable sensitivity and specificity,indicating better potential for practical applications.Shuting Hu Guangbao Zhang Xiaoqiang Jia 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,2:0
12Cytarabine delivered by CD44 and bone targeting redox-sensitive liposomes for treatment of acute myelogenous leukemia显示文摘Acute myelogenous leukemia(AML)remains a serious fatal disease for the patients and effective treatment strategies are urgently needed.Based on the characteristics of the AML,we developed the CD44 and bone targeting liposomes delivery system decorated with the redox-cleavable polymer.First,ALN-HA was obtained by amination between alendronate(ALN)and hyaluronic acid(HA),and cholesterol(Chol)was coupled by a disulfide linker(-SS-)with biological reducibility to obtain the goal polymer,ALN-HA-SS-Chol,decorated the liposomes loaded with the Cytarabine(AraC).ALN-HA-SS-AraC-Lip exhibited a spherical morphology with the diameter of 117.5nm and expanded at the environment of 10mM dithiothreitol.Besides,compared with other groups,ALN-HA-SS-AraC-Lip showed benign hydroxyapatite affinity in vitro and bone targeting in C57/BL6 mice,also,ALN-HA-SS-AraC-Lip exhibited encouraging antitumor which significantly reduced the white blood cell amount in bone marrow and blood smear caused by AML model,besides,the dual targeting liposomes also prolong the survival time of mice.In conclusion,the bone and CD44 dual targeting liposomes with redox sensitivity could target to the leukemia stem cells regions and then uptake by the tumor cells,which would be a valuable target for the treatment of the AML.Hao Wu Yuan Gao Jia Ma Maosong Hu Jing Xia Shuting Bao Yuxi Liu Kai Feng 2022Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1:0
13De novo transcriptome assembly and metabolomic analysis of three tissue types in Cinnamomum cassia显示文摘Objective:The barks,leaves,and branches of Cinnamomum cassia have been historically used as a traditional Chinese medicine,spice,and food preservative,in which phenylpropanoids are responsible compounds.However phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathways are not clear in C.cassia.We elucidated the pathways by descriptive analyses of differentially expressed genes related to phenylpropanoid biosynthesis as well as to identify various phenylpropanoid metabolites.Methods:Chemical analysis,metabolome sequencing,and transcriptome sequencing were performed to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the difference of active components content in the barks,branches and leaves of C.cassia.Results:Metabolomic analysis revealed that small amounts of flavonoids,coumarine,and cinnamaldehyde accumulated in both leaves and branches.Transcriptome analysis showed that genes associated with phenylpropanoid and flavonoid biosynthesis were downregulated in the leaves and branches relative to the barks.The observed differences in essential oil content among the three tissues may be attributable to the differential expression of genes involved in the phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolic pathways.Conclusion:This study identified the key genes in the phenylpropanoid pathway controling the flavonoid,coumarine,and cinnamaldehyde contents in the barks,branches and leaves by comparing the transcriptome and metabolome.These findings may be valuable in assessing phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolites and identifying specific candidate genes that are related to the synthesis of phenylpropanoids and flavonoids in C.cassia.Hongyang Gao Huiju Zhang Yuqing Hu Danyun Xu Sikai Zheng Shuting Su Quan Yang 2023Chinese Herbal Medicines2023,15,2:0
14Vertical graphene-coated Cu wire for enhanced tolerance to high current density in power transmission显示文摘Cu wires(CuWs)are widely used as electric transmission lines.However,their limited thermal and chemical stabilities become challenges under the high-power and harsh environment.Graphene is regarded as an ideal protective barrier for CuW benefiting from its impermeability to all atoms and molecules.Particularly,the excellent hydrophobicity of vertical graphene(VG)will strengthen its protective capability as a corrosion and oxidation barrier.Herein,VG is directly synthesized on CuW by plasmaenhanced chemical vapor deposition method.The hydrophobic VG coating with a high water contact angle can effectively exclude the corrosive liquid and moisture from CuW surface and prevent their further penetration.Consequently,the electrochemical corrosion rate of VG-CuW is reduced by~13,8,and 2 times,compared with bare CuW,VG-CuW with hydrophilic treatment,and CuW coated with thick horizontal graphene layers,respectively.Negligible oxidation occurs on VGCuW after the long-time exposure to humid air at~200℃ along with the largely enhanced tolerance under high-current operating condition.This study reveals the impressive potentials of hydrophobic VG as a robust corrosion and oxidation barrier for metal wires used in high-power cables and electronic devices in harsh environment.Kun Wang Shuting Cheng Qingmei Hu Feng Yu Yi Cheng Kewen Huang Hao Yuan Jun Jiang Wenjuan Li Junliang Li Shichen Xu Jianbo Yin Yue Qi Zhongfan Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,11:0

16Few-Atom Copper Catalyst for the Electrochemical Reduction of CO to Acetate:Synergetic Catalysis between Neighboring Cu Atoms显示文摘Single-atom catalysts(SACs)are gaining increasing recognition because of their superior catalytic properties for various reactions.However,the performance of SACs is often limited by the lack of neighboring metal centers to cooperate in catalysis.Herein,a synergetic interaction between neighboring Cu atoms of a few-atom catalyst(FAC)on graphdiyne(GDY)is found to greatly enhance the production of acetate in the CO electroreduction reaction relative to Cu SACs.In a 1.0 M KOH electrolyte,this Cu FAC exhibits an acetate Faradaic efficiency of 53.8±1.5%,an ultrahigh relative purity of up to 97 wt%for liquid products,and excellent stability over 23 h continuous electrolysis at–0.8 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode.Theoretical studies suggest that the intersite catalytic communication between two neighboring metal atoms confined in each pore of GDY facilitates the formation of acetic acid through either stepwise hydrogenation of CH_(2)CO^(*)or the direct reaction of H_(2)Owith CH_(2)CO^(*).Our study demonstrates the unprecedented synergetic catalysis of Cu FAC in promoting the selective CO electroreduction toward acetate production.Weifeng Rong Haiyuan Zou Sha Tan Enyuan Hu Fan Li Chao Tang Hao Dai Shuting Wei Yongfei Ji Lele Duan 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,5:0
17Protection of Geographical Indication and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Chrysanthemum Resources显示文摘We conduct an analysis on the current protection of geographical indication intellectual property and intangible cultural heritage of chrysanthemum resources. 19Obstacle-circumventing adaptive control of a four-wheeled mobile robot subjected to motion uncertainties显示文摘To achieve the collision-free trajectory tracking of the four-wheeled mobile robot(FMR),existing methods resolve the tracking control and obstacle avoidance separately.Guaranteeing the synergistic robustness and smooth navigation of mobile robots subjected to motion uncertainties in a dynamic environment using this non-cooperative processing method is difficult.To address this challenge,this paper proposes an obstacle-circumventing adaptive control(OCAC)framework.Specifically,a novel anti-disturbance terminal slide mode control with adaptive gains is formulated,incorporating specified control laws for different stages.This formulation guarantees rapid convergence and simultaneous chattering elimination.By introducing sub-target points,a new sub-target dynamic tracking regression obstacle avoidance strategy is presented to transfer the obstacle avoidance problem into a dynamic tracking one,thereby reducing the burden of local path searching while ensuring system stability during obstacle circumvention.Comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed OCAC method can strengthen the convergence and obstacle avoidance efficiency of the concerned FMR system.Yiming YAN Shuting WANG Yuanlong XIE Hao WU Shiqi ZHENG Hu LI 2023Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2023,18,3:0
