| 2 | A Modeling Study of Effective Radiative Forcing and Climate Response Due to Tropospheric Ozone显示文摘This study simulates the effective radiative forcing(ERF) of tropospheric ozone from 1850 to 2013 and its effects on global climate using an aerosol–climate coupled model, BCC AGCM2.0.1 CUACE/Aero, in combination with OMI(Ozone Monitoring Instrument) satellite ozone data. According to the OMI observations, the global annual mean tropospheric column ozone(TCO) was 33.9 DU in 2013, and the largest TCO was distributed in the belts between 30°N and 45°N and at approximately 30°S; the annual mean TCO was higher in the Northern Hemisphere than that in the Southern Hemisphere;and in boreal summer and autumn, the global mean TCO was higher than in winter and spring. The simulated ERF due to the change in tropospheric ozone concentration from 1850 to 2013 was 0.46 W m^(-2), thereby causing an increase in the global annual mean surface temperature by 0.36℃, and precipitation by 0.02 mm d^(-1)(the increase of surface temperature had a significance level above 95%). The surface temperature was increased more obviously over the high latitudes in both hemispheres, with the maximum exceeding 1.4?C in Siberia. | 4 | Influences of the Internal Mixing of Anthropogenic Aerosols on Global Aridity Change显示文摘Influences of the mixing treatments of anthropogenic aerosols on their effective radiative forcing(ERF) and global aridity are evaluated by using the BCC_AGCM2.0_CUACE/Aero, an aerosol–climate online coupled model. Simulations show that the negative ERF due to external mixing(EM, a scheme in which all aerosol particles are treated as independent spheres formed by single substance) aerosols is largely reduced by the partial internal mixing(PIM, a scheme in which some of the aerosol particles are formed by one absorptive and one scattering substance) method.Compared to EM, PIM aerosols have much stronger absorptive ability and generally weaker hygroscopicity, which would lead to changes in radiative forcing, hence to climate. For the global mean values, the ERFs due to anthropogenic aerosols since the pre-industrial are –1.02 and –1.68 W m^(–2) for PIM and EM schemes, respectively. The variables related to aridity such as global mean temperature, net radiation flux at the surface, and the potential evaporation capacity are all decreased by 2.18/1.61 K, 5.06/3.90 W m^(–2), and 0.21/0.14 mm day^(–1) since 1850 for EM and PIM schemes, respectively. According to the changes in aridity index, the anthropogenic aerosols have caused general humidification over central Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia, but great aridification over eastern China and the Tibetan Plateau since the pre-industrial in both mixing schemes. | 6 | Crystal structure and photoelectricity property of Fe(Ⅱ/Ⅲ) coordination supermolecules显示文摘Three new mixed-ligand Fe(Ⅱ/Ⅲ) complexes [Fe2(μ2–btec)( μ2–H2btec)(phen)2(H2O)2]n (1), [Fe2(btec) (phen)2(H2O)4] (2), and {[Fe(o-pha)(phen)(H2O)]·H2O}n (3) (phen=1,10-phenanthroline, o-H2pha=o-phthalic acid, H4btec=1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid) have been hydrothermally synthesized and detected by single crystal X-ray diffraction, showing that complexes (1) and (2) are both bridged by the betc4? ligands to form 1D chain and dinuclear structure and complex (3) is bridged by the o-pha groups to form 1D chain structure. The coordinated modes of the carboxyl groups adopt μ2-η1η1ηη1η1 and μ2-η2η1 respectively in complexes (2) and (3). The betc groups in complex (1) show two different coordinated modes: μ2-η1η1η1η1 and μ2-η1η1. In addition, the hydrogen bonds and π…π type interactions make the complex molecule further connect to three-dimensional and two-dimensional networks respectively. These complexes are detected by IR, UV-Vis-NIR and surface photovoltage spectrum (SPS). The SPS of complexes (1)–(3) indicate that there are positive SPV responses in the range of 300–600 nm and show p-type semiconductor characteristic. Because the structure, the valence and the coordinative environment of the Fe ions are all different in the three complexes, the intensity, position and the number of the response bands are different obviously. Surface models include point clouds,meshes and textured models. Previous work mainly focused on the encryption of solid models, point clouds and meshes. This work focuses on the most complicated 3 D textured model. We propose a 3 D Lu chaotic mapping based encryption method for 3 D textured models. We encrypt the vertices, polygons, and textures of3 D models separately using the 3 D Lu chaotic mapping. Then the encrypted vertices, polygons and textures are composited together to form the final encrypted 3 D textured model. The experimental results reveal that our method can encrypt and decrypt 3 D textured models correctly. | 11 | Crossover from 2D metal to 3D Dirac semimetal in metallic PtTe2 films with local Rashba effect显示文摘PtTe2 and PtSe2 with trigonal structure have attracted extensive research interests since the discovery of type-II Dirac fermions in the bulk crystals. The evolution of the electronic structure from bulk 3D topological semimetal to 2D atomic thin films is an important scientific question. While a transition from 3D type-II Dirac semimetal in the bulk to 2D semiconductor in monolayer(ML) film has been reported for PtSe2, so far the evolution of electronic structure of atomically thin PtTe2 films still remains unexplored.Here we report a systematic angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES) study of the electronic structure of high quality PtTe2 films grown by molecular beam epitaxy with thickness from 2 ML to 6 ML.ARPES measurements show that PtTe2 films still remain metallic even down to 2 ML thickness, which is in sharp contrast to the semiconducting property of few layer PtSe2 films. Moreover, a transition from 2D metal to 3D type-II Dirac semimetal occurs at film thickness of 4–6 ML. In addition, Spin-ARPES measurements reveal helical spin textures induced by local Rashba effect in the bulk PtTe2 crystal, suggesting that similar hidden spin is also expected in few monolayer PtTe2 films. | 16 | In situ formation of fluorescent silicon-containing polymer dots for alkaline phosphatase activity detection and immunoassay显示文摘The discovery and application of analyte-triggered fluorophore generation or fluorogenic reaction are significant and beneficial to the development of novel fluorescence(FL) analysis method. In this study, for the first time, we have reported a fluorogenic reaction to prepare fluorescent silicon-containing polymer dots(Si-PDs) by simply mixing N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediamine(DAMO) and hydroquinone(HQ) in aqueous solution at ambient temperature. Inspired by the alkaline phosphatase(ALP)-catalyzed hydrolysis of the substrate sodium 4-hydroxyphenyl phosphate(4-HPP) into HQ and the resultant HQcontrolled intense green Si-PDs generation, we have established a straightforward ALP activity assay by innovatively employing commercially available 4-HPP as the substrate. More significantly, the specific preparation method, clear formation mechanism and excellent performance enable the Si-PDs as well as its generation process to develop facile and attractive FL immunoassay.With the help of the universal ALP-based enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) platform and corresponding antibody, a convenient and conceptual ALP-based fluorescent ELISA has been constructed and applied in sensing cardiac troponin Ⅰ(cTnI),a well-known biomarker of acute myocardial infarction. | 17 | Improving Representation of Tropical Cloud Overlap in GCMs Based on Cloud-Resolving Model Data显示文摘The decorrelation length(Lcf) has been widely used to describe the behavior of vertical overlap of clouds in general circulation models(GCMs); however, it has been a challenge to associate Lcf with the large-scale meteorological conditions during cloud evolution. This study explored the relationship between Lcf and the strength of atmospheric convection in the tropics based on output from a global cloud-resolving model. Lcf tends to increase with vertical velocity in the mid-troposphere(w500) at locations of ascent, but shows little or no dependency on w500 at locations of descent. A representation of Lcf as a function of vertical velocity is obtained, with a linear regression in ascending regions and a constant value in descending regions. This simple and dynamic-related representation of Lcf leads to a significant improvement in simulation of both cloud cover and radiation fields compared with traditional overlap treatments. | 18 | Advancing drug delivery to articular cartilage:From single to multiple strategies显示文摘Articular cartilage(AC) injuries often lead to cartilage degeneration and may ultimately result in osteoarthritis(OA) due to the limited self-repair ability. To date, numerous intra-articular delivery systems carrying various therapeutic agents have been developed to improve therapeutic localization and retention, optimize controlled drug release profiles and target different pathological processes. Due to the complex and multifactorial characteristics of cartilage injury pathology and heterogeneity of the cartilage structure deposited within a dense matrix, delivery systems loaded with a single therapeutic agent are hindered from reaching multiple targets in a spatiotemporal matched manner and thus fail to mimic the natural processes of biosynthesis, compromising the goal of full cartilage regeneration. Emerging evidence highlights the importance of sequential delivery strategies targeting multiple pathological processes. In this review, we first summarize the current status and progress achieved in single-drug delivery strategies for the treatment of AC diseases. Subsequently, we focus mainly on advances in multiple drug delivery applications, including sequential release formulations targeting various pathological processes, synergistic targeting of the same pathological process, the spatial distribution in multiple tissues, and heterogeneous regeneration.
