2A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 3Preparation and Characterization of High-Strength Geopolymer Based on BH-1 Lunar Soil Simulant with Low Alkali Content显示文摘The construction of a lunar base and habitation on the Moon has always been on researchers’minds.Building materials used in in situ lunar resources are of great significance for saving expensive space freight.In this study,a new type of lunar soil simulant named Beihang(BH)-1 was developed.The chemical mineral composition and microstructure of BH-1 closely resemble those of real lunar soil,as verified by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy(XRF),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and reflectance spectra.This research also synthesized a geopolymer based on BH-1 cured at simulated lunar atmospheric conditions.We also investigated the effect of supplementing aluminum(Al)sources on the enhancement of geopolymer strength based on BH-1.The rheological behavior of alkali-activated BH-1 pastes was determined for workability.XRF,XRD,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,SEM coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy,and 27Al magic angle spinningnuclear magnetic resonance were used to characterize resulting geopolymers.Rheological test findings showed that the rheology of BH-1 pastes fits the Herschel–Bulkley model,and they behaved like a shear-thinning fluid.The results showed that the 28-day compressive strength of the BH-1 geopolymer was improved by up to 100.8%.Meanwhile,the weight of additives required to produce per unit strength decreased,significantly reducing the mass of materials transported from the Earth for the construction of lunar infrastructure and saving space transportation costs.Microscopic analyses showed that the mechanism to improve the mechanical properties of the BH-1 geopolymer by adding an additional Al source enhances the replacement of silicon atoms by Al atoms in the silicon–oxygen group and generates a more complete and dense amorphous gel structure.Siqi Zhou Chenghong Lu Xingyi Zhu Feng Li 2021Engineering2021,7,11:6
4Synthesis and characterization of geopolymer from lunar regolith simulant based on natural volcanic scoria显示文摘In this study,a new GVS(Ground Volcanic Scoria)lunar regolith simulant was produced.The similarity between GVS and lunar soil was proved by comparison with Apollo lunar soil samples and other commercial lunar soil simulants.Then,GVS lunar regolith simulant was investigated as the source material for preparing geopolymer to produce building material for lunar colony construction.To study the possibility of preparing geopolymer from GVS lunar regolith simulant and the optimum activator formulation as well as the optimum curing conditions,alkaline activated GVS slurries with different mixing ratios based on an orthogonal test scheme were prepared.The geopolymer products based on GVS were characterized by flexural strength test,compressive strength test,X-ray fluorescence(XRF),X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR),Scanning Electron Microscope coupled with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),29Si magic angle spinning-nuclear magnetic resonance(29Si MAS-NMR),and 27Al MAS-NMR.The experimental results indicate that changes in the mass ratio of sodium hydroxide and GVS and curing temperature have the most significant influence on the flexural strength and compressive strength,respectively.The GVS-based geopolymer can obtain the highest 28-day compressive strength and 28-day flexural strength up to 75.6 MPa and 6.3 MPa.Microstructural results imply that the changes of Si occurring in a variety of environments that explaining preliminarily about the reaction mechanism of GVS-based geopolymer.This study approves the feasibility of making a geopolymer derived from the GVS lunar regolith simulant and the potential utilization of geopolymer based on lunar regolith for construction of the lunar colony in future space exploration.Siqi ZHOU Xingyi ZHU Chenghong LU Feng LI 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1:6

6Identification of Differentially-expressed Genes in Intestinal Gastric Cancer by Microarray Analysis显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC) is one of the most frequent malignant tumors. In order to systematically characterize the cellular and molecular mechanisms of intestinal GC development,in this study, we used 22 K oligonucleotide microarrays and bioinformatics analysis to evaluate the gene expression profiles of GC in 45 tissue samples, including 20 intestinal GC tissue samples,20 normal appearing tissues(NATs) adjacent to tumors and 5 noncancerous gastric mucosa tissue samples. These profiles allowed us to explore the transcriptional characteristics of GC and determine the change patterns in gene expression that may be of clinical significance. 1519 and 1255 differentially-expressed genes(DEGs) were identified in intestinal GC tissues and NATs, respectively,as determined by Bayesian analysis(P < 0.001). 7Influences of multiphoton absorption and freecarrier effects on frequency-comb generation in normal dispersion silicon microresonators显示文摘We investigate frequency-comb generation in normal dispersion silicon microresonators from the near-infrared to mid-infrared wavelength range in the presence of multiphoton absorption and free-carrier effects. It is found that parametric oscillation is inhibited in the telecom wavelength range resulting from strong two-photon absorption.On the contrary, beyond the wavelength of 2200 nm, where three-and four-photon absorption are less detrimental,a comb can be generated with moderate pump power, or free-carriers are swept out by a positive-intrinsic-negative structure. In the temporal domain, the generated combs correspond to flat-top pulses, and the pulse duration can be easily controlled by varying the laser detuning. The reported comb generation process shows a high conversion efficiency compared with anomalous dispersion regime, which can guide and promote comb formation in materials with normal dispersion. 8A Distributed Feedforward Control Method for Power Electronic Transformers显示文摘Because of its advantages such as small size and light weight,power electronic transformers(PET)are increasingly used in power transmission and distribution systems.The traditional centralized control method requires each cascaded power module to communicate with the central controller through a high-speed communication link,which increases the computational and communication burden of the central controller and reduces the expandability and modularity of a PET system.In this paper,a distributed feedforward control method for a cascaded H-bridge(CHB)converter-based PET is proposed.The pulse width modulation,input current regulation,voltage balance control,power balance control,output voltage regulation and output current regulation are assigned to the distributed local controllers.Therefore,the computational and communication burden of the central controller can be significantly reduced.The number of fibers connected to the central controller can be significantly reduced.Meanwhile,the proposed control method can greatly improve the dynamic response of the load disturbance,and a smooth start-up process of the PET system can be achieved.Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.Sizhao Lu Di Zhao Kai Li Siqi Li 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,4:3

10Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells for psoriasis:a phase 1/2a,single-arm study显示文摘Psoriasis is a common,chronic immune-mediated systemic disease that had no effective and durable treatment.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have immunomodulatory properties.Therefore,we performed a phase 1/2a,single-arm clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of human umbilical cord-derived MSCs(UMSCs)in the treatment of psoriasis and to preliminarily explore the possible mechanisms.Seventeen patients with psoriasis were enrolled and received UMsC infusions.Adverse events,laboratory parameters,PASl,and PGA were analyzed.We did not observe obvious side effects during the treatment and 6-month follow-up.A total of 47.1%(8/17)of the psoriasis patients had at least 40%improvement in the PASl score,and 17.6%(3/17)had no sign of disease or minimal disease based on the PGA score.And the efficiency was 25%(2/8)for males and 66.7%(6/9)for females.After UMSC transplantation(UMSCT),the frequencies of Tregs and CD4^(+)memory T cells were significantly increased,and the frequencies of T helper(Th)17 and CD4^(+)naive T cells were significantly decreased in peripheral blood(PB)of psoriasis patients.And all responders showed significant increases in Tregs and CD4^(+)memory T cells,and significant decreases in Th17 cells and serum IL-17 level after UMsCT.And baseline level of Tregs in responders were significantly lower than those in nonresponders.In conclusion,allogeneic UMSCT is safe and partially effective in psoriasis patients,and level of Tregs may be used as a potent biomarker to predict the clinical efficacy of UMSCT.Trial registration Clinical Trials NCT03765957.Lamei Cheng Siqi Wang Cong Peng Xiao Zou Chao Yang Hua Mei Chuang Li Xian Su Na Xiao Qi Ouyang Mi Zhang Qiaolin Wang Yan Luo Minxue Shen Qun Qin Honglin Wang Wu Zhu Guangxiu Lu Ge Lin Yehong Kuang Xiang Chen 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9:2
11Single stain hyperspectral imaging for accurate fungal pathogens identification and quantification显示文摘The most widely used method of identification of microbial morphology and structure is microscopy,but it can be difficult to distinguish between pathogens with a similar appearance.Existing fluorescent staining methods require a combination of a variety of fluorescent materials to meet this demand.In this study,unique concentration-dependent fluorescent carbon dots(CDs)were synthesized for the identification and quantification of pathogens.The emission wavelength of the CDs could be tuned spanning the full visible region by virtue of aggregation-induced narrowing of bandgaps.This tunable emission wavelength of the specific concentration response to diverse microbes can be used to distinguish microorganisms with a similar appearance,even in a same genus.A hyperspectral microscopy system was demonstrated to distinguish Aspergillus flavus and A.fumigatus based on the results above.The identification accuracy of the two similar-looking pathogens can be close to 100%,and the relative proportions and spatial distributions can also be profiled from the mixture of the pathogens.This technique can provide a solution to the fast detection of microorganisms and is potentially applicable to a wide range of problems in areas such as healthcare,food preparation,biotechnology,and health emergency.Yongqiang Zhang Kunxing Liu Jingkun Yu Haifeng Chen Rui Fu Siqi Zhu Zhenqiang Chen Shuangpeng Wang Siyu Lu 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:1
12Cu-clusters nodes of 2D metal-organic frameworks as a cost-effective noble-metal-free cocatalyst with high atom-utilization efficiency for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Several 2D nanosheets of porphyrin MOFs with various transition-metal clusters as metal nodes were prepared via a simple solvothermal method to apply in the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution,in which the hydrogen production rate of the optimal NS-Cu was as high as 15.39 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).A series of experimental technologies especially cyclic voltammetry(CV)and Mott-Schottky(M-S)had been adopted to investigate the charge-transfer property of photo-generated electron-hole pairs,it was found that the uniformly dispersed Cu-clusters nodes in the original 2D MOFs played a key role in the electron transfer process,that was,the photo-generated electron transferred from excited state eosin-Y to the Cu-clusters nodes for the efficient hydrogen evolution.The excellent photocatalytic performance could be attributed to the reversible oxidation-–reduction process of Cu^(Ⅱ)/Cu^(Ⅰ),which had excellent electron-receiving and electron-outputting capabilities.Our results provided a novel avenue to adapt the uniformly dispersed metal nodes in the original MOFs as cost-effective noble-metal-free cocatalysts with very high atomutilization efficiency to improve the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance in dye-sensitized system.Guangmei Jiang Xingyan Liu Huilong Jian Peng Lu Jinwu Bai Guizhi Zhang Wen Yun Siqi Li Youzhou He 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:1
13Atom-economic synthesis of an oligomeric P/N-containing fire retardant towards fire-retarding and mechanically robust polylactide biocomposites显示文摘Renewable and biodegradable polylactide (PLA) has excellent mechanical strength but is highly flammable which restricts its practical applications. Many phosphorus/nitrogen (P/N)-based flame retardants are ef- fective in PLA, but their high addition loading usually decreases the mechanical strength of the PLA bulk. For polyphosphoramides, despite high fire-retardant efficiency, their chemical synthesis often generates chemical wastes as byproducts. Herein, we report an atom-economic and highly efficient oligomeric P/N fire retardant (APN) prepared using a mild Michael addition polymerization with no byproducts. Using only 3 wt% APN, the resulting PLA exhibits desired fire retardancy including a UL-94 V-0 rating and a limiting oxygen index of 37.6%. Furthermore, the toughness of the fire-retardant PLA increases by 85% compared to pure PLA, with both tensile strength and thermal stability preserved. 183D Printing of Nacre-Inspired Structures with Exceptional Mechanical and Flame-Retardant Properties显示文摘Flame-retardant and thermal management structures have attracted great attention duc to the requirement of high-temperature exposure in industrial,aerospace,and thermal power fields,but the development of protoctive fire-retardant structures with complex shapes to fit arbitrary surfaces is still challenging.Herein,we reported a rotation-blade casting-assisted 3D printing process to fabricate nacre-inspired structures with exceptional mechanical and flame-retardant properties,and the relatedi fundamental mechanisms are studied.3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate(TMSPMA)modified boron nitride nanoplatelets(BNs)were aligned by rotation-blade casting during the 3D printing process to build the'hrick and mortar'architecture.The 3D printed structures are more lightweight,while having higher fracture toughness than the natural nacre,which is attributed to the crack deflection,aligned BN(a-BNs)bridging,and pull-outs reinforced structures by the covalent bonding between TMSPMA grafted a-BNs and polymer matrix.Thermal conductivity is enhanced by 25.5 times compared with pure polymer and 5.8 times of anisotropy due to the interconnection of a-BNs.3D printed heat-exchange structures with vertically aligned BNs in complex shapes were demonstrated for efficient thermal control of high-power light-emitting diocles.3D printed helmet and armor with a-BNs show exceptional mechanical and fire-retardant properties,demonstrating integrated mechanical and thermal protection.Yang Yang Ziyu Wang Qingqing He Xiangjia Li Gengxi Lu Laiming Jjiang Yushun Zeng Brandon Bethers Jie Jin Shuang Lin Siqi Xiao Yizhen Zhu Xianke Wu Wenwu Xu Qiming Wang Yong Chen 2022Research2022,,2:1

20Computational insights into the ionic transport mechanism and interfacial stability of the Li_(2)OHCl solid-state electrolyte显示文摘Lithium-rich antiperovskites are promising solid-state electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries because of their high structural tolerance and good formability.However,the experimentally reported proton-free Li_(3)OCl is plagued by its inferior interfacial compatibility and harsh synthesis conditions.In contrast,Li_(2)OHCl is a thermodynamically favored phases and is easier to achieve than Li_(3)OCl.Due to the proton inside this material,it exhibits interesting lithium diffusion mechanisms.Herein,we present a systematic investigation of the ionic transport,phase stability,and electrochemicalchemical stability of Li_(2)OHCl using first-principles calculations.Our results indicate that Li_(2)OHCl is thermodynamically metastable and is an electronic insulator.The wide electrochemical stability window and high chemical stability of Li_(2)OHCl against various electrodes are confirmed.The charged defects are the dominant conduction mechanism for Li-transport,with a low energy barrier of~0.50 eV.The Li-ion conductivity estimated by ab initio molecular dynamics simulations is about 1.3×10^(-4) S cm^(-1) at room temperature.This work identifies the origin of the high interfacial stability and ionic conductivity of Li_(2)OHCl,which can further lead to the design of such as a cathode coating.Moreover,all computational methods for calculating the properties of Li_(2)OHCl are general and can guide the design of highperformance solid-state electrolytes.Bo Liu Qianglin Hu Tianyu Gao Peiguang Liao Yufeng Wen Ziheng Lu Jiong Yang Siqi Shi Wenqing Zhang 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,1:1
