4Cervical Infection of Oncogenic Human Papillomavirus(HPV) Types in Beijing,China显示文摘Objective This study was designed to determine the prevalence of oncogenic human papillomavirus(HPV) in cervical infections in Beijing,China,and to investigate the odds ratio(OR) of HPV single and multiple infections in abnormal cytology.Methods A total of 19,018 specimens from outpatients in the department of obstetric and gynecology were collected.They were detected using high-risk HPV genotyping real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR) kit and analyzed by ThinP rep cytology test for cervical pathological diagnosis.HPV prevalence,age-specific prevalence,and OR of each type of HPV in abnormal cytology were analyzed.Results Overall,19.1%(3,623/19,018) of the individuals were positive for HPV infection,14.9%(2,833/19,018) were positive for a single HPV type,and 4.2%(790/19,018) were positive for multiple types.Among the 3,623 HPV-positive individuals,the most predominant HPV types were HPV52(4.4%,834/19,018),HPV16(3.7%,710/19,018),and HPV58(3.4%,644/19,018).The OR of multiple infections and single infection differed significantly among disease severities.The OR of dual infection was higher than that of each of the two single infection types,respectively.Conclusion HPV prevalence in the outpatients was 19.1%,and the most predominant HPV types in the study were HPV52,HPV16,and HPV58.Women with multiple infectionswere more likely to have abnormal cytology.LI Ying HUANG Ke JI Pei Li SONG Lei LIU Hong Tu 2016Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2016,29,10:22

6Deep Structural Framework and Genetic Analysis of Gold Concentration Areas in the Northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula, China: A New Understanding based on High-Resolution Reflective Seismic Survey显示文摘The gold concentration areas in the northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula constituted an important gold metallogenetic region in Eastern China during the Mesozoic. The deep geological bodies' texture characteristic is important for exploring the resources thoroughly and understanding the metallogenic process. The detailed textures were revealed using high-resolution seismic profiles through the three major ore-controlling structures-Sanshandao fault zone, Jiaojia fault zone and Zhaoping fault zone. This study aims to establish a deep structural framework of this area. Based on their formation mechanism, the fault structures developed in the area can be divided into regional and local fault structures. The structural styles are characterised by superimposing their compressional, strike-slip and extensional multi-stage activities. The crust is cut by vertical structures corresponding to a left-lateral strike-slip fault system on the surface. Nearby these structures are the arc-shape structures formed by multi-stage magma intrusions into the upper crust. Bounded by the Tancheng–Lujiang and Muping–Jimo fault zones, the current Jiaodong block, developed a series of NE-trending strike-slip fault systems, was probably formed by the assemblage of several obliquely aligned blocks. The intensive magmatism and hydrothermal activity between the blocks induced large-scale mineralisation. 8Magnetostratigraphy and Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility of the Lulehe Formation in the Northeastern Qaidam Basin显示文摘The timing of onset of deposition of the Lulehe Formation is a significant factor in understanding the genesis of the Qaidam basin and the evolution of the Tibetan Plateau. Here, we describe a detailed magnetostratigraphic and magnetic fabric study of the middle and lower parts of the Lulehe Formation. A total of 234 samples were collected from 117 sites throughout a thickness of almost 460 m of fluvial and lacustrine deposits at the Xitieshan section in the northeastern Qaidam basin. Out of these sites, 94 sites yielded well-defined characteristic remanent magnetization components by stepwise thermal demagnetization and were used to establish the magnetostratigraphy of the studied section. Based on correlation with the geomagnetic polarity timescale, the studied section spans the period from 53.8 Ma to 50.7 Ma. Our results show a three-fold decrease in sedimentation rates as well as marked change in facies from braided river to delta and shore-shallow lake around 52.6 Ma, which suggests tectonic uplift of the northeastern Qaidam basin margin ridge was rapid at the onset of formation of the Qaidam basin and subsequently weakened after 52.6 Ma. The anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility results indicate that tectonic compression stress had reached the northeastern Tibetan Plateau by the early stages of Indo-Eurasian plate collision and that the direction of stress in the study area was NE-SW. Furthermore, a weakening of tectonic compression stress around 52.6 Ma is consistent with sedimentary records. 10Radiofrequency ablation for hepatic hemangiomas: A consensus from a Chinese panel of experts显示文摘Recent studies have shown that radiofrequency(RF) ablation therapy is a safe, feasible, and effective procedure for hepatic hemangiomas, even huge hepatic hemangiomas. RF ablation has the following advantages in the treatment of hepatic hemangiomas: minimal invasiveness, definite efficacy, high safety, fast recovery, relatively simple operation, and wide applicability. 12GGE biplot analysis of yield stability and test location representativeness in proso millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) genotypes显示文摘The experiments were conducted for three consecutive years across 14 locations using 9 non-waxy proso millet genotypes and 16 locations using 7 waxy proso millet genotypes in China. The objectives of this study were to analyze yield stability and adaptability of proso millets and to evaluate the discrimination and representativeness of locations by analysis of variance(ANOVA) and genotype and genotype by environment interaction(GGE) biplot methods. Grain yields of proso millet genotypes were significantly influenced by environment(E), genotype(G) and their interaction(G×E)(P<0.1%). G×E interaction effect was six times higher than G effect in non-waxy group and seven times in waxy group. N04-339 in non-waxy and Neimi 6(NM6) in waxy showed higher grain yields and stability compared with other genotypes. Also, Neimi 9(NM9, a non-waxy cultivar) and 90322-2-33(a waxy cultivar) showed higher adaptability in 7 and in 11 locations, respectively. For non-waxy, Dalat, Inner Mongolia(E2) and Wuzhai, Shanxi(E5) were the best sites among all the locations for maximizing the variance among candidate cultivars, and Yanchi, Ningxia(E10) had the best representativeness. Wuzhai, Shanxi(e9) and Yanchi, Ningxia(e14) were the best representative locations, and Baicheng, Jilin(e2) was better discriminating location than others for waxy genotypes. 14CYP2E1-dependent hepatotoxicity and oxidative damage after ethanol administration in human primary hepatocytes显示文摘AIM: To observe the relationship between ethanol-induced oxidative damage in human primary cultured hepatocytes and cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) activity, in order to address if inhibition of CYP2E1 could attenuate ethanolinduced cellular damage. METHODS: The dose-dependent (25-100 mmol/L) and time-dependent (0-24 h) exposures of primary human cultured hepatocytes to ethanol were carried out. CYP2E1 activity and protein expression were detected by spectrophotometer and Western blot analysis respectively. Hepatotoxicity was investigated by determination of Iactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and aspartate transaminase (AST) level in hepatocyte culture supernatants, as well as the intracellular formation of malondialdehyde (MDA). RESULTS: A dose-and time-dependent response between ethanol exposure and CYP2E1 activity in human hepatocytes was demonstrated. Moreover, there was a time-dependent increase of CYP2E1 protein after 100 mmol/L ethanol exposure. Meanwhile, ethanol exposure of hepatocytes caused a time-dependent increase of cellular MDA level, LDH, and AST activities in supernatants. Furthermore, the inhibitor of CYP2E1, diallyl sulfide (DAS) could partly attenuate the increases of MDA, LDH, and AST in human hepatocytes. 16Identification of ferroptosis as a novel mechanism for antitumor activity of natural product derivative a2 in gastric cancer显示文摘Ferroptosis is a type of cell death accompanied by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation,thus stimulating ferroptosis may be a potential strategy for treating gastric cancer,therapeutic agents against which are urgently required.Jiyuan oridonin A(JDA) is a natural compound isolated from Jiyuan Rabdosia rubescens with anti-tumor activity,unclear anti-tumor mechanisms and limited water solubility hamper its clinical application.Here,we showed a2,a new JDA derivative,inhibited the growth of gastric cancer cells.Subsequently,we discovered for the first time that a2 induced ferroptosis.Importantly,compound a2 decreased GPX4 expression and overexpressing GPX4 antagonized the anti-proliferative activity of a2.Furthermore,we demonstrated that a2 caused ferrous iron accumulation through the autophagy pathway,prevention of which rescued a2 induced ferrous iron elevation and cell growth inhibition.Moreover,a2 exhibited more potent anti-cancer activity than 5-fluorouracil in gastric canc er cell line-derived xenograft mice models.Patient-derived tumor xenograft models from different patients displayed varied sensitivity to a2,and GPX4 downregulation indicated the sensitivity of tumors to a2.Finally,a2 exhibited well pharmacokinetic characteristic s.Overall,our data suggest that inducing ferroptosis is the major mechanism mediating anti-tumor activity of a2,and a2 will hopefully serve as a promising compound for gastric cancer treatment.Ying Liu Zan Song Yajie Liu Xubin Ma Wang Wang Yu Ke Yichao Xu Dequan Yu Hongmin Liu 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:10
17Modified FOLFIRINOX for unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gallbladder cancer,a comparison with GEMOX regimen显示文摘Background:The first-line chemotherapy regimen for advanced gallbladder cancer(GBC)is gemcitabine plus platinum(GP),despite its efficacy is limited.The current investigation is a retrospective study to compare the safety and efficacy between the modified FOLFIRINOX(mFOLFIRINOX)and gemcitabine plus oxaliplatin(GEMOX)as the first-line chemotherapy for unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC.Methods:The data of patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC,who were treated with mFOLFIRINOX or GEMOX as the first-line therapy between April 2014 and April 2018 at Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine,were retrieved.This retrospective study evaluated the clinical characteristics,survival outcomes and adverse events.Results:A total of 44 patients(n=25 in mFOLFIRINOX,n=19 in GEMOX)were included.There were no significant differences between groups in baseline characteristics.The median progression free survival(mPFS)was 5.0 months in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 2.5 months in the GEMOX group[P=0.021;hazard ratio(HR),0.499;95%CI,0.266 to 0.937].The median overall survival(mOS)was 9.5 months in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 7.0 months in the GEMOX group(P=0.019;HR,0.471;95%CI,0.239 to 0.929).Disease control rate(DCR)was 76.0%in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 47.4%in the GEMOX group(P=0.051).The rate of grade 3-4 adverse events was 48%in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 36.8%in the GEMOX group(P=0.459).The incidence of grade 3-4 neutropenia and diarrhea were more common in the mFOLFIRINOX group,while the incidence of grade 3-4 thrombocytopenia and peripheral neuropathy were more common in the GEMOX group.Conclusions:mFOLFIRINOX might improve the poor prognosis of unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC,and the results need to be further verified by prospective clinical studies.Xu-Ya Cui Xue-Chuan Li Jiu-Jie Cui Xiang-Song Wu Lu Zou Xiao-Ling Song Tai Ren Yi-Di Zhu Huai-Feng Li Yang Yang Ke Liu Xu-Sheng Han Zi-Yao Jia Wen-Guang Wu Xu-An Wang Wei Gong Li-Wei Wang Mao-Lan Li Ying-Bin Liu 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,4:10

20Influence of coarse tailings on flocculation settlement显示文摘The composition of tailings particles in mines plays a key role in the flocculation settlement of slurries.To study the influence of coarse particle tailings(CPTs)on the flocculation settlement of tailings slurries(TSs),static flocculent settling tests,scanning electron microscopy observations,and laser particle size analyses were conducted using the tailings obtained from a copper mine.The results demonstrate that(i)in the accelerated and free settling process,CPTs did not directly settle at the bottom of graduated cylinders;instead,they were netted by the flocculent structures(FSs)and settled together more quickly.The CPTs accelerate the rapid settlement of TSs;the acceleration effect is more obvious when the CPTs content is greater than 50 wt%.(ii)The most appropriate flocculant unit consumption(FUC)is 20 g·t-1,and no substantial increase is observed in the flocculant settling velocity with an increase in the flocculant because the effective FSs did not substantially change and thus did not lead to a notable increase in the settling velocity of the solid–liquid interface(SLI).(iii)In the effective settling space of the thickening facility,free water quickly flowed from the pores of FSs,which is reflected in the period from 0 to 1 min.Shi Wang Xue-peng Song Xiao-jun Wang Qiu-song Chen Jian-chun Qin Yu-xian Ke 2020International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2020,27,8:9
