2Wide-steering-angle high-resolution optical phased array显示文摘Optical phased array(OPA)technology is considered a promising solution for solid-state beam steering to supersede the traditional mechanical beam steering.As a key component of the LIDAR system for long-range detection,OPAs featuring a wide steering angle and high resolution without beam aliasing are highly desired.However,a wide steering range requires a waveguide pitch less than half of the wavelength,which is easily subjected to cross talk.Besides,high resolution requires a large aperture,and it is normally achieved by a high count number of waveguides,which complicates the control system.To solve the mentioned issues,we design two high-performance 128-channel OPAs fabricated on a multilayered SiN-on-SOI platform.Attributed to the nonuniform antenna pitch,only 128 waveguides are used to achieve a 4 mm wide aperture.Besides,by virtue of innovative dual-level silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4))waveguide grating antennas,the fishbone antenna OPA achieves a 100°×19.4°field of view(FOV)with divergence of 0.021°×0.029°,and the chain antenna OPA realizes a 140°×19.23°FOV with divergence of 0.021°×0.1°.To our best knowledge,140°is the widest lateral steering range in two-dimensional OPA,and 0.029°is the smallest longitudinal divergence.Finally,we embed the OPA into a frequency-modulated continuous-wave system to achieve 100 m distance measurement.The reflected signal from 100 m distance is well detected with 26 dBm input transmitter power,which proves that OPA serves as a promising candidate for transceiving optical signal in a LIDAR system.YINGZHI LI BAISONG CHEN QUANXIN NA QIJIE XIE MIN TAO LANXUAN ZHANG ZIHAO ZHI YUXUAN LI XIAOBIN LIU XIANSHU LUO GUOQIANG LO FENGLI GAO XUEYAN LI JUNFENG SONG 2021Photonics Research2021,9,12:7

4Dynamic changes in cerebral microcirculation and hypoxia in the early stages of diffuse axonal injury显示文摘This study demonstrated that damage to the cerebral microvasculature,the formation of microthrombi and swelling of vascular endothelial cells occur early and peak 12 hours after injury in a rat model of diffuse axonal injury.Moreover,these pathological changes were most evident in the cerebral cortex.Cerebral microcirculatory dysfunction peaked later and had a shorter duration than axonal injury.In addition,the radioactive imaging agent,99Tcm-4,9-diaza-2,3,10,10-tetramethyldodecan-2,11-dione dioxime,was used to visualize the dynamic changes that occur in tissue with cerebral hypoxia.The results demonstrated that cerebral hypoxia occurs at an early stage in diffuse axonal injury.Cerebral hypoxia was evident 12 hours after injury and declined slightly 24 hours after injury,but was significantly higher than in the control group.The pathological changes that underpin microcirculatory dysfunction did not occur at the same time as axonal injury,but did occur simultaneously with neuronal injury.Cerebral hypoxia plays a key role in promoting the secondary brain injury that occurs after diffuse axonal injury.Jinning Song Xiaobin Liu Jingyu Chen Fenru Zhang Lei Xi 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,20:5
5Theoretical analysis of the limiting rate of phreatic evaporation for aeolian sandy soil in Taklimakan Desert显示文摘Phreatic evaporation is a great lose for shallow groundwater in the Taklimakan Desert. Given soil type and groundwater table, the limiting rate of phreatic evaporation is defined as the maximum of water transferred from groundwater to soil surface per unit time, which is a key parameter and control condition for phreatic evaporation model developing. The soil water characteristic curve for the aeolian sandy soil in the Taklimakan Desert was fitted with the least square method based on the formula of soil moisture characteristics curve proposed by Van Genuchten, using observed soil moisture and soil water suction data. The unsaturated hydraulic conductivity was determined by the instantaneous profile method in situ and the calculation formula for unsaturated hydraulic conductivity was established. According to the steady flow theory, the quasi-analytical solution of limiting rate of phreatic evaporation was derived on the basis of generalization of the formula of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity. 6高能聚束微波热疗联合沙培林胸腔注射治疗恶性胸水(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of high power focused-beam microwave hyperthermia with intrapleural injection of Shapeilin for patients with malignant hydrothorax.Methods:Fifty-eight patients with malignant hydrothorax were divided into group A and group B randomly.All patients underwent indwelling pleural catheter and were treated by intrapleural injection of Shapeilin once three days.Treatment was composed of 3 times injection.Patients of group B received high power focused-beam microwave hyperthermia after injection of Shapeilin.Results:The response rate of group B(79.3%) was higher than that of group A(48.3%)(P < 0.05).Incidence of main adverse reactions,associated with Shapeilin,of two groups including fever and thoracodynia were similar(P > 0.05).Patients of group B didn't encounter severe toxicities of microwave hyperthermia.Conclusion:High power focused-beam microwave hyperthermia combined with intrapleural injection of Shapeilin is effective and tolerable for patients with malignant hydrothorax.Lingqin Song Jianjun He Xijing Wang Hongbing Ma Shuqun Zhang Zhijun Dai Baofeng Wang Xiaobin Ma 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,2:2
7Effect of oxymatrine on interferon-gamma and tumor necrosis factor-alpha serum levels in an experimental rat model of autoimmune encephalomyelitis显示文摘BACKGROUND:Studies have demonstrated that experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE) onset correlates with increased interferon-γ(IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) expression.Oxymatrine(OM) has been shown to inhibit autoimmune responses,but there are no reports showing that it could prevent the development of EAE.OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of OM on serum levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α in a rat model of EAE.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal study was performed at the Experimental Animal Center of Henan Academy of Chinese Medicine and at the Key Disciplines Laboratory Clinical Medicine of Henan Province between July and December 2008.MATERIALS:OM was purchased from Chia-tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical,China;complete Freund's adjuvant was purchased from Sigma,USA.METHODS:Forty female Wistar rats were randomly assigned to four groups:EAE model(M),low-dose OM treatment(OM-L),high-dose OM treatment(OM-H),and normal control(N,no immunization),with 10 rats in each group.EAE was established in the M,OM-L,and OM-H groups following immunization with Guinea pig spinal cord homogenate and complete Freund's adjuvant.The M and N groups were intraperitoneally injected with normal saline(6.7 mL/kg per day),the OM-L group received an intraperitoneal injection of OM(100 mg/kg per day),and the OM-H group received OM(150 mg/kg per day).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:At 16 days after immunization,the degree of histopathological changes in the spinal cord was assessed by hematoxylin-eosin stanining.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serum levels of IFN-γ,and radioimmunoassay was utilized to determine serum TNF-α level.Neurological scores were measured on a daily basis according to a 0-5 scale.RESULTS:Daily injections of OM,both high and low doses,resulted in decreased neurological scores in EAE rats(P < 0.01),as well as reduced cellular infiltration in the spinal cord and decreased levels of serum IFN-γ and TNF-α(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:OM reduced the onset and severity of EAE,which correlated with decreased IFN-γ and TNF-α expression.Xiaobin Guo Quancheng Kan Yifan Song Lin Zhu Xiang Li Haiying Hua GuangxianZhang 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,10:2

9Impaired Parahippocampal Gyrus-Orbitofrontal Cortex Circuit Associated with Visuospatial Memory Deficit as a Potential Biomarker and Interventional Approach for Alzheimer Disease显示文摘The parahippocampal gyrus-orbitofrontal cortex(PHG-OFC)circuit in humans is homologous to the postrhinal cortex(POR)-ventral lateral orbitofrontal cortex(vlOFC)circuit in rodents.Both are associated with visuospatial malfunctions in Alzheimer’s disease(AD).However,the underlying mechanisms remain to be elucidated.In this study,we explored the relationship between an impaired POR-vlOFC circuit and visuospatial memory deficits through retrograde tracing and in vivo local field potential recordings in 5XFAD mice,and investigated alterations of the PHG-OFC circuit by multi-domain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in patients on the AD spectrum.We demonstrated that an impaired glutamatergic POR-vlOFC circuit resulted in deficient visuospatial memory in 5XFAD mice.Moreover,MRI measurements of the PHG-OFC circuit had an accuracy of 77.33%for the classification of amnestic mild cognitive impairment converters versus non-converters.Thus,the PHG-OFC circuit explains the neuroanatomical basis of visuospatial memory deficits in AD,thereby providing a potential predictor for AD progression and a promising interventional approach for AD.Lin Zhu Zan Wang Zhanhong Du Xinyang Qi Hao Shu Duan Liu Fan Su Qing Ye Xuemei Liu Zheng Zhou Yongqiang Tang Ru Song Xiaobin Wang Li Lin Shijiang Li Ying Han Liping Wang Zhijun Zhang 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,8:2
10Unsupervised hyperspectral unmixing based on robust nonnegative dictionary learning显示文摘Considering the sparsity of hyperspectral images(HSIs),dictionary learning frameworks have been widely used in the field of unsupervised spectral unmixing.However,it is worth mentioning here that existing dictionary learning method-based unmixing methods are found to be short of robustness in noisy contexts.To improve the performance,this study specifically puts forward a new unsupervised spectral unmixing solution.For the reason that the solution only functions in a condition that both endmembers and the abundances meet non-negative con-straints,a model is built to solve the unsupervised spectral un-mixing problem on the account of the dictionary learning me-thod.To raise the screening accuracy of final members,a new form of the target function is introduced into dictionary learning practice,which is conducive to the growing robustness of noisy HSI statistics.Then,by introducing the total variation(TV)terms into the proposed spectral unmixing based on robust nonnega-tive dictionary learning(RNDLSU),the context information under HSI space is to be cited as prior knowledge to compute the abundances when performing sparse unmixing operations.Ac-cording to the final results of the experiment,this method makes favorable performance under varying noise conditions,which is especially true under low signal to noise conditions.LI Yang JIANG Bitao LI Xiaobin TIAN Jing SONG Xiaorui 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,2:1
11QNE1 is a key flowering regulator determining the length of the vegetative period in soybean cultivars显示文摘The soybean E1 gene is a major regulator that plays an important role in flowering time and maturity.However,it remains unclear how cultivars carrying the dominant E1 allele adapt to the higher latitudinal areas of northern China.We mapped the novel quantitative trait locus QNE1(QTL near E1) for flowering time to the region proximal to E1 on chromosome 6 in two mapping populations.Positional cloning revealed Glyma.06G204300,encoding a TCP-type transcription factor,as a strong candidate gene for QNE1.Association analysis further confirmed that functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) at nucleotides 686 and 1,063 in the coding region of Glyma.06G204300 were significantly associated with flowering time.The protein encoded by the candidate gene is localized primarily to the nucleus.Furthermore,soybean and Brassica napus plants overexpressing Glyma.06G204300 exhibited early flowering.We conclude that despite their similar effects on flowering time,QNE1 and E4 may control flowering time through different regulatory mechanisms,based on expression studies and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of flowering time-related genes.Deciphering the molecular basis of QNE1 control of flowering time enriches our knowledge of flowering gene networks in soybean and will facilitate breeding soybean cultivars with broader latitudinal adaptation.Zhengjun Xia Hong Zhai Yanfeng Zhang Yaying Wang Lu Wang Kun Xu Hongyan Wu Jinglong Zhu Shuang Jiao Zhao Wan Xiaobin Zhu Yi Gao Yingxiang Liu Rong Fan Shihao Wu Xin Chen Jinyu Liu Jiayin Yang Qijian Song Zhixi Tian 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,12:1

15On-chip generation of Bessel–Gaussian beam via concentrically distributed grating arrays for long-range sensing显示文摘Bessel beam featured with self-healing is essential to the optical sensing applications in the obstacle scattering environment.Integrated on-chip generation of the Bessel beam outperforms the conventional structure by small size,robustness,and alignment-free scheme.However,the maximum propagation distance(Z_(max))provided by the existing approaches cannot support long-range sensing,and thus,it restricts its potential applications.In this work,we propose an integrated silicon photonic chip with unique structures featured with concentrically distributed grating arrays to generate the Bessel-Gaussian beam with a long propagation distance.The spot with the Bessel function profile is measured at 10.24m without optical lenses,and the photonic chip’s operation wavelength can be continuously performed from 1500 to 1630 nm.To demonstrate the functionality of the generated Bessel-Gaussian beam,we also experimentally measure the rotation speeds of a spinning object via the rotational Doppler Effect and the distance through the phase laser ranging principle.The maximum error of the rotation speed in this experiment is measured to be 0.05%,indicating the minimum error in the current reports.By the compact size,low cost,and mass production potential of the integrated process,our approach is promising to readily enable the Bessel-Gaussian beam in widespread optical communication and micro-manipulation applications.Zihao Zhi Quanxin Na Qijie Xie Baisong Chen Yingzhi Li Xiaobin Liu Xuetong Li Lijun Wang Guoqiang Lo Junfeng Song 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,5:1

19Elevated ZIPK is required for TNF-α-induced cell adhesion molecule expression and leucocyte adhesion in endothelial cells显示文摘Leucocyte adhesion to the vascular endothelium is a critical event in the early inflammatory response to infection and injury.This process is primarily regulated by the expression of cell adhesion molecules(CAMs)in endothelial cells.It has been well documented that tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)is a key regulator of CAM expression within this process,but its regulatory mechanism remains controversial.To investigate the scenario within this process,we assessed the role of zipper-interacting protein kinase(ZIPK),a serine/threonine kinase with multiple substrates,in CAM expression.We used TNF-αas inflammatory stimulator and found that ZIPK was integrated into the signaling regulation of TNF-α-mediated CAM expression.In human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs),TNF-αexposure led to significantly increased expression of both intercellular CAM-1(ICAM-1)and vascular CAM-1(VCAM-1),along with an increase in the adhesion of THP-1 monocytes to HUVECs.Simultaneously,ZIPK gene was also up-regulated at the transcription level.These effects were clearly inhibited by the ZIPK-specific inhibitor Tc-DAPK6 or small interfering RNA(siRNA)capable of specifically inhibiting ZIPK expression.We thus suggest that both ZIPK activation and ZIPK gene expression are necessary for TNF-α-mediated CAM expression and leucocyte adhesion.Interestingly,ZIPK inhibition also significantly suppressed TNF-α-induced nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)activation,indicating that TNF-α-mediated ZIPK expression functions upstream of NF-κB and CAM expression.We thus propose a TNF-α/ZIPK/NF-κB signaling axis for CAM expression that is necessary for leucocyte adhesion to endothelial cells.Our data in this study revealed a potential molecular target for exploring anti-inflammation drugs.Weiwei Zeng Zhiyuan Sun Tengxiang Ma Xiaobin Song Shuai Li Qianqian Zhang Wen Yuan Jing Li Li Liu Minsheng Zhu Huaqun Chen 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,5:1
