| 1 | Additive manufacturing technology for porous metal implant applications and triple minimal surface structures: A review显示文摘Recently,the fabrication methods of orthopedic implants and devices have been greatly developed.Additive manufacturing technology allows the production of complex structures with bio-mimicry features,and has the potential to overcome the limitations of conventional fabrication methods.This review explores open-cellular structural design for porous metal implant applications,in relation to the mechanical properties,biocompatibility,and biodegradability.Several types of additive manufacturing techniques including selective laser sintering,selective laser melting,and electron beam melting,are discussed for different applications.Additive manufacturing through powder bed fusion shows great potential for the fabrication of high-quality porous metal implants.However,the powder bed fusion technique still faces two major challenges:it is high cost and timeconsuming.In addition,triply periodic minimal surface(TPMS)structures are also analyzed in this paper,targeting the design of metal implants with an enhanced biomorphic environment. | Li Yuan Songlin Ding Cuie Wen | 2019 | Bioactive Materials2019,4,1: | 24 |
| 2 | Non-coding RNAs as Emerging Regulators of Neural Injury Responses and Regeneration显示文摘Non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs) are a large cluster of RNAs that do not encode proteins,but have multiple functions in diverse cellular processes.Mounting evidence indicates the involvement of nc RNAs in the physiology and pathophysiology of the central and peripheral nervous systems.It has been shown that numerous ncRNAs,especially micro RNAs and long non-coding RNAs,are differentially expressed after insults such as acquired brain injury,spinal cord injury,and peripheral nerve injury.These ncRNAs affect neuronal survival,neurite regrowth,and glial phenotype primarily by targeting specific mRNAs,resulting in translation repression or degradation of the mRNAs.An increasing number of studies have investigated the regulatory roles of micro RNAs and long non-coding RNAs in neural injury and regeneration,and thus a new research field is emerging.In this review,we highlight current progress in the field in an attempt to provide further insight into post-transcriptional changes occurring after neural injury,and to facilitate the potential use of ncRNAs for improving neural regeneration.We also suggest potential directions for future studies. | Songlin Zhou Fei Ding Xiaosong Gu | 2016 | Neuroscience Bulletin2016,32,3: | 12 |

| 5 | Effect of chicken haemoglobin powder on growth, feed utilization, immunity and haematological index of largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides)显示文摘A 12-week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of replacing fish meal by chicken haemoglobin powder in largemouth bass diets.Four isonitrogenous(48%)and isolipidic(12%)diets were formulated to replace 0%(control),9.80%,19.61%and 29.41%of fish meal with chicken haemoglobin powder.Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of fish(initial weight:49.50±0.07 g)twice daily.The fish specific growth rate was significantly reduced when diet replacement level was up to 19.61%,which may be related to the feed intake and apparent digestibility coefficient of protein and amino acids.Meanwhile,the feed efficiency ratio and protein efficiency ratio were not significantly decreased until the replacement level up to 29.41%.The activity of CCP was significantly reduced when 19.61%of fish meal was replaced.Meanwhile,the activity of lysozyme and serum protein content was significantly altered in fish fed with the diets up to 29.41%replacement.Additionally,the red blood cell count and haemoglobin content was significantly decreased when the replacement level was up to 19.61%.In overall,the diet with 9.80%of chicken haemoglobin powder was more suitable for largemouth bass. | Guitao Ding Songlin Li An Wanga Naisong Chen | 2020 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2020,5,4: | 4 |

| 11 | Highly electro-conductive B_(4)C-TiB_(2) composites with threedimensional interconnected intergranular TiB_(2) network显示文摘To achieve lightweight B_(4)C-based composite ceramics with high electrical conductivities and hardness,B_(4)C-TiB_(2) ceramics were fabricated by reactive spark plasma sintering(SPS)using B_(4)C,TiC,and amorphous B as raw materials.During the sintering process,fine B_(4)C-TiB_(2) composite particles are firstly in situ synthesized by the reaction between TiC and B.Then,large raw B_(4)C particles tend to grow at the cost of small B_(4)C particles.Finally,small TiB_(2) grains surround large B_(4)C grains to create a three-dimensional interconnected intergranular TiB_(2) network,which is beneficial for an electro-conductive network and greatly improves the conductivity of the ceramics.The effect of the B_(4)C particle size on the mechanical and electrical properties of the ceramics was investigated.When the particle size of initial B_(4)C powders is 10.29µm,the obtained B_(4)C-15 vol%TiB_(2) composite ceramics exhibit an electrical conductivity as high as 2.79×10^(4) S/m and a density as low as 2.782 g/cm^(3),together with excellent mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness(HV),and fracture toughness(KIC)of 676 MPa,28.89 GPa,and 5.28 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively. | Jun ZHAO Dong WANG Xing JIN Xiang DING Jianhua ZHU Songlin RAN | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,1: | 1 |

| 14 | Application of heat-activated peroxydisulfate process for the chemical cleaning of fouled ultrafiltration membranes显示文摘Na Cl O has been widely used to restore membrane flux in practical membrane cleaning processes,which would induce the formation of toxic halogenated byproducts.In this study,we proposed a novel heatactivated peroxydisulfate(heat/PDS)process to clean the membrane fouling derived from humic acid(HA).The results show that the combination of heat and PDS can achieve almost 100%recovery of permeate flux after soaking the HA-fouled membrane in 1 mmol/L PDS solution at 50℃ for 2 h,which is attributed to the changes of HA structure and enhanced detachment of foulants from membranes.The properties of different treated membranes are characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscope(AFM),attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(ATRFTIR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),demonstrating that the reversible and irreversible foulants could be effectively removed by heat/PDS cleaning.The filtration process and fouling mechanism of the cleaned membrane were close to that of the virgin membrane,illustrating the good reusability of the cleaned membrane.Additionally,heat/PDS which can avoid the generation of halogenated byproducts shows comparable performance to Na Cl O on membrane cleaning and high performance for the removal of fouling caused by sodium alginate(SA),HA-bovine serum albumin(BSA)-SA mixture and algae,further suggesting that heat/PDS would be a potential alternative for membrane cleaning in practical application. | Jiaqi Ding Haoliang Xiao Xiaolong Huang Yujia Zou Zhimin Ye Songlin Wang Pengchao Xie Yongsheng Chen Jun Ma | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,10: | 0 |
