| 1 | Upconversion nanoparticles:Recent strategies and mechanism based applications显示文摘Upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)doped with lanthanides can convert near-infrared excitation into UV and visible emissions.Because of their relatively high emission efficiency,UCNPs are appealing materials for use in a variety of sectors.UCNPs are known for low auto-fluorescence,excellent chemical and thermal photo-stability,deep tissue penetration,exceptional biocompatibility,low toxicity,color purity,and ease of surface functionalization.In this review,we explain a few recent strategies to boost the efficiency and luminescence of upconversion nanoparticles and minimize quenching by fabricating them as core/shell,nanofibers,or heavily doped lanthanides.Applications of UCNPs in drug delivery,Photodynamic therapy(PDT),biosensors,bioimaging,and optogenetics are also discussed along with their mechanism of action.Our motivation for this review is to understand the working mechanism of UCNPs and their applications in various fields. | Neha Dubey Sudeshna Chandra | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9: | 2 |
| 2 | 对ASC-H的妇女行高危人乳头状瘤病毒DNA检测的临床意义显示文摘目的探讨高危人乳头瘤病毒DNA(hrHPV DNA)辅助检测对宫颈非典型鳞状上皮,不除外高度鳞状上皮内病变(ASC-H)女性疾病的风险评估。方法对1187例ASC-H妇女进行hrHPV感染的流行病学和组织病理学资料调查及分析。结果在277,400例宫颈细胞学检查中判读为ASC-H的1187例中,589例(49.6%)hrHPV DNA检测结果为阳性。对其中505例的组织病理学随访,32.7%hrHPV DNA阳性者系宫颈高度鳞状上皮内病变(CIN2/3),hrHPV DNA阴性妇女仅有1.2%呈CIN2/3改变。hrHPV DNA检测结果提示CIN2/3改变的阳性预测值(PPV)、阴性预测值(NPV)、敏感性和特异性分别是32.7%、98.8%、96.6%和58.6%。该PPV约是单纯细胞学结果ASC-H预测CIN改变的2倍。宫颈/移行区(EC/TZS)样本的存在与否并不影响hrHPV DNA或CIN2/3级的检出率。结论对细胞学判为ASC-H的妇女行hrHPV DNA检测具有较高的临床价值。对hrHPV DNA阴性患者可单纯行常规细胞学随访和hrHPV DNA检测,而不需要进行阴道镜检查,尤其是对40岁以上妇女。 | Sudeshna Bandyopadhyay R.Marshall Austin David Dabbs Chengquan Zhao 白雪娟 杨敏 赵澄泉 傅新文 | 2010 | 实验与检验医学2010,28,1: | 2 |
| 3 | Endosymbiotic pathogen-inhibitory gut bacteria in three Indian Major Carps under polyculture system: A step toward making a probiotics consortium显示文摘The gastrointestinal(GI)microbiome in fish plays significant roles in health and disease resistance.This investigation was accomplished to enumerate,characterize and identify the potential probiotic bacteria from three Indian Major Carps(IMCs),viz.,rohu(Labeo rohita),catla(Catla catla)and mrigal(Cirrhinus mrigala)using culture dependent methods.Altogether,105 pathogen-inhibitory bacteria(out of 1216 isolates)were detected from three IMCs by double layer assay.16S rRNA partial gene sequence analyses and BLAST search in the NCBI GenBank unveiled that 94.29%of the pathogen inhibitory bacteria were bacilli(99 strains)and Bacillus licheniformis by far the most common(28%).The primarily selected 27 pathogen-inhibitory strains(cumulative inhibition score≥13)produced extracellular enzymes,while 15 of them produced all the six exo-enzymes studied(amylase,protease,lipase,cellulase,phytase and xylanase).Gut stability of the strains became apparent by their ability to grow in fish mucus and tolerance to diluted bile-juice.Finally,14 strains were noticed asγ-hemolytic and susceptible to the commonly used antibiotics.Further,intra-peritoneal injection withγ-hemolytic strains did not induce any pathological signs or mortalities in fish,and thus were considered as safe.These 14γ-hemolytic isolates were represented by the genus Bacillus(13)and Stenotrophomonas(1),which might form probiotic consortia for prospective use in carp culture. | Koushik Ghosh Anjan Mukherjee Dipanjan Dutta Sudeshna Banerjee Eva Marie Breines Ellinor Hareide Einar Ringø | 2021 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Li-ion battery material under high pressure:amorphization and enhanced conductivity of Li_4Ti_5O_(12)显示文摘Lithium titanium oxide(Li_4Ti_5O_(12),LTO),a‘zero-strain’anode material for lithium-ion batteries,exhibits excellent cycling performance.However,its poor conductivity highly limits its applications.Here,the structural stability and conductivity of LTO were studied using in situ high-pressure measurements and first-principles calculations.LTO underwent a pressure-induced amorphization(PIA)at 26.9 GPa.The impedance spectroscopy revealed that the conductivity of LTO improved significantly after amorphization and that the conductivity of decompressed amorphous LTO increased by an order of magnitude compared with its starting phase.Furthermore,our calculations demonstrated that the different compressibility of the Li O_6 and Ti O_6 octahedra in the structure was crucial for the PIA.The amorphous phase promotes Li^+ diffusion and enhances its ionic conductivity by providing defects for ion migration.Our results not only provide an insight into the pressure depended structural properties of a spinel-like material,but also facilitate exploration of the interplay between PIA and conductivity. | Yanwei Huang Yu He Howard Sheng Xia Lu Haini Dong Sudeshna Samanta Hongliang Dong Xifeng Li Duck Young Kim Ho-kwang Mao Yuzi Liu Heping Li Hong Li Lin Wang | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,2: | 2 |
