1Mechanical,corrosion and magnetic behavior of a CoFeMn_(1.2)NiGa_(0.8) high entropy alloy显示文摘In this study,a magnetic high entropy alloy(HEA)of CoFeMn_(1.2)NiGa_(0.8)was designed and prepared by arc melting in order to investigate its mechanical,corrosion and magnetic behavior.The results show that the alloy mainly possesses body-centered cubic(BCC)phase and face-centered cubic(FCC)phase.A high compressive strength of 1450 MPa,a strain of 18.5%and a relatively low yield strength of 303MPa in as-cast condition at room temperature can be achieved in the present alloy.In-situ high-energy X-ray diffraction technique was employed to reveal the deformation mechanism of Co Fe Mn_(1.2)Ni Ga_(0.8)under uniaxial compression and the results show that the competition between BCC phase and FCC phase plays a significant role during the compressive process.The corrosion behavior of Co Fe Mn_(1.2)Ni Ga_(0.8)was investigated in 3.5 wt%Na Cl solution and it turned out that the alloy possessed good corrosion resistance.At last,the magnetic behavior of the Co Fe Mn_(1.2)Ni Ga_(0.8)alloy was studied and it can present a high saturation magnetization of 94.5 emu/g and a coercivity of 26.4 Oe at 4 K.This work indicates that the present Co Fe Mn_(1.2)Ni Ga_(0.8)HEA has promising applications as future magnetic functional materials.Xiaoming Sun Lingzhong Du Hao Lan Jingyi Cui Liang Wang Runguang Li Zhiang Liu Junpeng Liu Weigang Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,14:2
2Mixed alkaline phosphatase/sphingomyelin monolayer at the air-buffer interface: phase behavior and morphology显示文摘The glycosylphosphatidyl inositol(GPI)-anchored proteins are localized on the outer of the plasma membrane and clustered in membrane microdomain known as lipid rafts. Among them, mammalian alkaline phosphatase(AP) is an enzyme widely distributed. So, it has important biological significance to study the combination of AP with lipid monolayer. In our work, the interaction between AP and sphingomyelin has been studied at the air-buffer interface as a biomimetic membrane system by the Langmuir film technique and atomic force microscopy. The surface pressure-area isotherm for the mixed alkaline phosphatase/sphingomyelin monolayer shown the presence of a transition from a liquid-expanded phase to the liquid-expanded/liquidcondensed coexist phase. And the surface compressional modulus suggested the mixed alkaline phosphatase/sphingomyelin monolayer has larger compressibility compared with the pure sphingomyelin monolayer. Besides, according to the micrographs, we inferred when combined with lipid monolayer at the air-buffer interface, the AP molecules formed polymer not multilayer or micelle. 7Regulation of cell morphology and viability using anodic aluminum oxide with custom-tailored structural parameters显示文摘Anodic aluminum oxide(AAO)with independently controlled period,porosity,and height is used as the model surface to study the single structural parameter effect on breast cancer cell behaviors,including cell polarity and cell viability.It is found that the quantity of multipolar cells and cell viability increases as the nanodent period increases from 100 to 300 nm,while the number of bipolar cells has almost no change until there is a dramatic decrease as the period increases to 3oo nm.After anodizing nanodents into nanopores,the numbers of both bipolar cells and the cell viability increase significantly with the porosity increase.However,as the porosity further increases and the nanopore changes into a nanocone pillar,most of the cells become nonpolar spheres and the cell viability decreases.Increasing the height of the nanocone pillar has little effect on the cell polarity;the cell viability increases slightly with the increase of the nanocone pillar height.These results reveal the influence of individual nanostructure parameters on the cell behavior,especially the cell polarity and the cell viability,which can help to design the surface to make the cell grow as desired.Zhiying ZHANG Ting LIU Juan LI Yiyan GUO Ruiqing LIANG Jiangbo LU Runguang SUN Jun DONG 2022Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,4:0
8Thermodynamic behavior of D-sphingosine/cholesterol monolayers and the topography observed by AFM显示文摘Lipid rafts are of a dynamic microdomain structure found in recent years,enriched in sphingolipids,cholesterol and particular proteins.The change of structure and function of lipid rafts could result in many diseases.In this work,the monolayer behavior of mixed systems of D-sphingosine with choles-terol was investigated in terms of the mean surface area per molecule(Am),excess molecular area(Aex),surface excess Gibbs energy(Gex),interaction parameter(ω),activity coefficients(1 and 2) as well as elasticity(Cs1) of formed films.The deposited Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) monolayers were inves-tigated with atomic force microscopy(AFM).Thermodynamic analysis indicates Aex and Gex in the binary systems with negative deviations from the ideal behavior,suggesting attractive interaction be-tween molecules.The stability,elasticity and activity coefficients show a marked dependence on the mole faction of D-sphingosine.The results of observation by AFM show that the single D-sphingosine molecular film took on small granule structure.When mixing the D-sphingosine and cholesterol at dif-ferent ratios,the mixed films transform from the chains structure to larger slice and net coexisting structure with the increasing of the cholesterol content.In the end,pure cholesterol forms more ag-gregated structure.AFM experiments effectively support the above findings and interpretation.HAO ChangChun SUN RunGuang ZHANG Jing CHANG YiGuang NIU ChunLing 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,2:0
