1Dynamically controlling terahertz wavefronts with cascaded metasurfaces显示文摘Dynamically controlling terahertz(THz)wavefronts in a designable fashion is highly desired in practice.However,available methods working at microwave frequencies do not work well in the THz regime due to lacking suitable tunable elements with submicrometer sizes.Here,instead of locally controlling individual meta-atoms in a THz metasurface,we show that rotating different layers(each exhibiting a particular phase profile)in a cascaded metadevice at different speeds can dynamically change the effective Jonesmatrix property of the whole device,thus enabling extraordinary manipulations on the wavefront and polarization characteristics of a THz beam impinging on the device.After illustrating our strategy based on model calculations,we experimentally demonstrate two proof-of-concept metadevices,each consisting of two carefully designed all-silicon transmissive metasurfaces exhibiting different phase profiles.Rotating two metasurfaces inside the fabricated devices at different speeds,we experimentally demonstrate that the first metadevice can efficiently redirect a normally incident THz beam to scan over a wide solid-angle range,while the second one can dynamically manipulate both the wavefront and polarization of a THz beam.Our results pave the way to achieving dynamic control of THz beams,which is useful in many applications,such as THz radar,and bio-and chemical sensing and imaging.Xiaodong Cai Rong Tang Haoyang Zhou Qiushi Li Shaojie Ma Dongyi Wang Tong Liu Xiaohui Ling Wei Tan Qiong He Shiyi Xiao Lei Zhou 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,3:8
2Amorphous M0S2 confined in nitrogen-doped porous carbon for improved electrocatalytic stability toward hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Developing non-precious metal catalysts with high activity and stability for electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is of great significance in both scie nee and tech no logy.In this work,N-doped CMK-3,which was prepared with a casting method using SBA-15 as thehard template and ammonia as the nitrogen source,has been utilized to hold MoS2 and restrict its growth to form MoS2@N-CMK-3 composite.As a result,M0S2 was found to have poorly crystallized and the limited space of porous N-CMK-3 made its size much small.Then there are moreactive sites in MoS2.Accordingly,MoS2@N-CMK-3 has exhibited good electrocatalytic performance toward HER in acids with a quite small Tafelslope of 32 mV·dec^-1.And more importantly,compared to MoS2@CMK-3,its stability has been greatly improved,which can be attributedto the interaction between M0S2 and nitrogen atoms avoiding aggregation and mass loss.This work provides an idea that doping a porouscarbon support with nitrogen is an effective way to enhance the stability of the catalyst.Shaojie Lu Wenjing Wang Shengshuang Yang Wei Chen Zhongbin Zhuang Wenjing Tang Caihong He Jiajing Qian Dekun Ma Yun Yang Shaoming Huang 2019Nano Research2019,12,12:2

11Acoustic Goos-H?nchen effect显示文摘We report two models of the lateral displacement of acoustic-wave scattering on a fluid-solid interface that reveal an acoustic analog of the Goos-H?nchen effect in optics. This acoustic analog is called the acoustic Goos-H?nchen effect. Using newly proposed models, we made numerical calculations for the system of a water-Perspex interface. Specifically, in the post-critical-angle region,we observed a lateral displacement(and transition time) of the reflected P-wave with respect to the incident P-wave. The first arrival of the acoustic signal from the interface is found to be a reflected P-wave rather than the sliding-refraction P-wave usually described in traditional acoustic-logging sliding P-wave theory. 20Key techniques for predicting the uncertain trajectories of moving objects with dynamic environment awareness显示文摘Emerging technologies of wireless and mobile communication enable people to accumulate a large volume of time-stamped locations,which appear in the form of a continuous moving object trajectory.How to accurately predict the uncertain mobility of objects becomes an important and challenging problem.Existing algorithms for trajectory prediction in moving objects databases mainly focus on identifying frequent trajectory patterns,and do not take account of the effect of essential dynamic environmental factors.In this study,a general schema for predicting uncertain trajectories of moving objects with dynamic environment awareness is presented,and the key techniques in trajectory prediction arc addressed in detail.In order to accurately predict the trajectories,a trajectory prediction algorithm based on continuous time Bayesian networks(CTBNs) is improved and applied,which takes dynamic environmental factors into full consideration.Experiments conducted on synthetic trajectory data verify the effectiveness of the improved algorithm,which also guarantees the time performance as well.Shaojie QIAO Xian WANG Lu'an TANG Liangxu LIU Xun GONG 2011Journal of Modern Transportation2011,19,3:1
