| 4 | The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. | 6 | 3D Lamellar-Structured Graphene Aerogels for Thermal Interface Composites with High Through-Plane Thermal Conductivity and Fracture Toughness显示文摘Although thermally conductive graphene sheets are efficient in enhancing in-plane thermal conductivities of polymers,the resulting nanocomposites usually exhibit low through-plane thermal conductivities,limiting their application as thermal interface materials.Herein,lamellarstructured polyamic acid salt/graphene oxide(PAAS/GO)hybrid aerogels are constructed by bidirectional freezing of PAAS/GO suspension followed by lyophilization.Subsequently,PAAS monomers are polymerized to polyimide(PI),while GO is converted to thermally reduced graphene oxide(RGO)during thermal annealing at 300℃.Final graphitization at 2800℃ converts PI to graphitized carbon with the inductive effect of RGO,and simultaneously,RGO is thermally reduced and healed to high-quality graphene.Consequently,lamellar-structured graphene aerogels with superior through-plane thermal conduction capacity are fabricated for the first time,and its superior through-plane thermal conduction capacity results from its vertically aligned and closely stacked high-quality graphene lamellae.After vacuum-assisted impregnation with epoxy,the resultant epoxy composite with 2.30 vol% of graphene exhibits an outstanding through-plane thermal conductivity of as high as 20.0 W m^−1 K^−1,100 times of that of epoxy,with a record-high specific thermal conductivity enhancement of 4310%.Furthermore,the lamellar-structured graphene aerogel endows epoxy with a high fracture toughness,~1.71 times of that of epoxy. | Pengfei Liu Xiaofeng Li Peng Min Xiyuan Chang Chao Shu Yun Ding Zhong-Zhen Yu | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,2: | 7 |
| 7 | Development of the triazole-fused pyrimidine derivatives as highly potent and reversible inhibitors of histone lysine specific demethylase1(LSD1/KDM1A)显示文摘Histone lysine specific demethylase 1(LSD1) has been recognized as an important modulator in post-translational process in epigenetics. Dysregulation of LSD1 has been implicated in the development of various cancers. Herein, we report the discovery of the hit compound 8 a(IC50=3.93 μmol/L) and further medicinal chemistry efforts, leading to the generation of compound 15 u(IC50=49 nmol/L, and Ki= 16 nmol/L), which inhibited LSD1 reversibly and competitively with H3 K4 me2, and was selective to LSD1 over MAO-A/B. Docking studies were performed to rationalize the potency ofcompound 15 u. Compound 15 u also showed strong antiproliferative activity against four leukemia cell lines(OCL-AML3, K562, THP-1 and U937) as well as the lymphoma cell line Raji with the IC50 values of 1.79, 1.30, 0.45, 1.22 and 1.40 μmol/L, respectively. In THP-1 cell line, 15 u significantly inhibited colony formation and caused remarkable morphological changes. | 8 | Two regimes of Atlantic multidecadal oscillation: cross-basin dependent or Atlantic-intrinsic显示文摘The Atlantic Multidedal Oscillation(AMO) is a prominent mode of sea surface temperature variability in the Atlantic and incurs significant global influence. Most coupled models failed to reproduce the observed 50–80-year AMO, but were overwhelmed by a 10–30-year AMO. Here we show that the 50–80-year AMO and 10–30-year AMO represent two different AMO regimes. The key differences are:(1) the 50–80-year AMO involves transport of warm and saline Atlantic water into the Greenland-Iceland-Norwegian(GIN)Seas prior to reaching its maximum positive phase, while such a transport is weak for the 10–30-year AMO;(2) the zonality of atmospheric variability associated with the 50–80 year AMO favors the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas;(3) the disappearance of Pacific variability weakens the zonality of atmospheric variability and the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas, leading to the weakening of the 50–80-year AMO. In contrast, the 10–30-year AMO does not show dependence on the variability in Pacific and in the GIN Seas and may be an Atlantic-intrinsic mode. | 9 | In vitro and in vivo biocompatibility of Mg–Zn–Ca alloy operative clip显示文摘At present,titanium(Ti)and its alloys are most commonly use in hemostasis clip clinical applications.However,the Ti Clip cannot be absorbed in human body and produce artifacts on computed tomography(CT),and induce clinically relevant hypersensitivity in patients.In order to overcome the drawbacks of the non-degradable Ti clips,an Mg-Zn-Ca alloy operative clip was fabricated by combining hot extrusion and blanking processing.In vitro and in vivo biocompatibility of Mg-Zn-Ca alloy operative clip were evaluated by L-929 Cells and SD rat model respectively.It was found that Mg-Zn-Ca alloy exhibited non-cytotoxic to L929 cells.In vivo implantation showed that the newly designed Mg-Zn-Ca clip can successfully ligated carotid artery and no blood leakage occurred post-surgery.During the period of the clip degradation,a small amount of H2 gas formation and no tissue inflammation around the clips were observed.The degradation rate of the clip near the heart ligated the arteries faster than that of clip far away the heart due do the effect of arterial blood.Histological analysis and various blood biochemical parameters in rat serum samples collected at different times after clip implantation showed no tissue inflammation around the clips. | Pengfei Ding Yuanchao Liu Xianghui He Debao Liu Minfang Chen | 2019 | Bioactive Materials2019,4,1: | 5 |
| 10 | Diabetes fuels periodontal lesions via GLUT1-driven macrophage inflammaging显示文摘Hyperglycemia induces chronic low-grade inflammation(inflammaging),which is a newly identified contributor to diabetes-related tissue lesions,including the inflammatory bone loss in periodontitis.It is also a secondary senescent pattern mediated by an increased burden of senescent cells and senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP).Macrophage is a key SASPspreading cell and may contribute to the maintenance of SASP response in the periodontal microenvironment.Using a transgenic diabetic model(BLKS/J-Lepr^(db)/lepr^(db)mice)we identified striking senescence of the periodontium in young(18-wk)-diabetic mice accompanied by amassed p16^(+)-macrophages and enhanced early SASP response.Exposed to high glucose in vitro,bone marrow-derived macrophage(BMDM)revealed a strong GLUT1 m RNA response driving the elevated-glucose uptake.GLUT1 is a representative and facilitative glucose transporter in macrophages with potential roles in hyperglycemia-induced inflammation.In this study,both GLUT1 and the downstream GTPase Rheb expression upregulated in the gingiva of diabetic mice with impaired condition.Furthermore,SASP release and p16/p21 signaling were proven to be triggered by m TOR phosphorylation in BMDM and antagonized by restricting glucose uptake in GLUT1^(-/-)BMDM.Taken together,our findings suggest that elevated-GLUT1 sensor responded to high glucose is important for macrophage senescence and SASP response,generated as a result of hyperglycemia,and it is a potential molecular mechanism for the exacerbation of periodontitis in diabetes. | Qian Wang Lulingxiao Nie Pengfei Zhao Xinyi Zhou Yi Ding Qianming Chen Qi Wang | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,3: | 5 |
| 11 | A potential red-emitting phosphor Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+):Luminescence properties,thermal stability and applications for white LEDs显示文摘A novel red-emitting phosphor tantalate Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction.The purity and surface morphology of the phosphors were characterized.The Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)phosphors show a sharp emission peak at 612 nm under near-ultraviolet(n-UV) at 395 nm because of the ^(5)D0→^(7)F_(2) transition of Eu^(3+).The optimal Eu^(3+)doping concentration in Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) is 40 mol% and the critical energy-transfer distance of Eu^(3+)ions was calculated to be 0.9 nm.The emission spectra of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu_(3+)from 300 to 480 K were investigated.The thermal-quenching temperature(T_(0.5)) of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)is above 480 K.The color purity of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)is as high as 99.8%.The luminescence lifetime of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)was also discussed.The high color purity and high thermal stability of Eu^(3+)-doped Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) phosphors contribute to its application value in white lightemitting diodes(w-LEDs). | Ka Ding Siru A Shuo Pang Leyan Shan Yaqi Zhang Pengfei Sun Bin Deng Ruijin Yu | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7: | 4 |

To study the mechanisms of solar eruptions and the plasma dynamics in the lower atmosphere, the Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) was launched into a Sun-synchronous orbit on October 14, 2021. The scientific payload of the CHASE satellite is the Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS). The CHASE/HIS acquires, for the first time, seeing-free Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. It consists of two observational modes. The raster scanning mode provides full-Sun or region-of-interest spectra at Hα(6559.7-6565.9 ?) and Fe I(6567.8-6570.6 ?) wavebands. The continuum imaging mode obtains full-Sun photospheric images at around 6689 ?. In this paper, we present detailed calibration procedures for the CHASE/HIS science data, including the dark-field and flat-field correction, slit image curvature correction, wavelength and intensity calibration, and coordinate transformation. | 14 | Effects of the standardized ileal digestible lysine to metabolizable energy ratio on performance and carcass characteristics of growing-finishing pigs显示文摘A total of 2,121 growing-finishing pigs (Duroc × Landrace × Large White) were utilized in six experiments conducted to determine the effects of different ratios of standardized ileal digestible lysine (SID-Lys) to metabolizable energy (ME) on the performance and carcass characteristics of growing-finishing pigs. Exps. 1 (30 to 50 kg), 2 (52 to 70 kg) and 3 (81 to 104 kg) were conducted to find an optimum ME level and then this level was used in Exps. 4 (29 to 47 kg), 5 (54 to 76 kg) and 6 (84 to 109 kg) to test the response of pigs to different ratios of SID-Lys:ME. In Exps.1 to 3, four treatments were used consisting of diets with a formulated ME content of 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 or 3.4 in Exps. 1 and 2 while Exp. 3 used 3.05, 3.15, 3.25 or 3.35 Mcal/kg. A constant SID-Lys:ME ratio of 2.6, 2.3 or 2.0 g/Mcal was used in Exps. 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Weight gain was significantly increased with increasing energy level in Exp.1 while weight gain was unaltered in Exps. 2 and 3. For all three experiments, feed intake was decreased (P < 0.05) and feed efficiency was improved (P < 0.05) with increasing energy level. Tenth rib back fat thickness linearly increased (P < 0.05) with increasing energy level. In Exps. 4 to 6, five treatments were used consisting of diets with a SID-Lys:ME ratio of 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, 3.0 or 3.2 in Exp. 1, 2.1, 2.3, 2.5, 2.7, 2.9 or 3.2 in Exp. 2 and 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, or 2.6 in Exp. 3. A constant ME level 3.2, 3.2 and 3.05 Mcal/kg was used in Exps. 1, 2 and 3, respectively (selected based on the results of weight gain). For all three experiments, weight gain increased (P < 0.05) and feed efficiency improved linearly (P < 0.05) as the SID-Lys:ME ratio increased. Tenth rib back fat thickness linearly decreased (P < 0.05) as the SID-Lys:ME ratio increased. | 16 | Discernible image mosaic with edge-aware adaptive tiles显示文摘We present a novel method to produce discernible image mosaics, with relatively large image tiles replaced by images drawn from a database, to resemble a target image. Compared to existing works on image mosaics, the novelty of our method is two-fold.Firstly, believing that the presence of visual edges in the final image mosaic strongly supports image perception,we develop an edge-aware photo retrieval scheme which emphasizes the preservation of visual edges in the target image. Secondly, unlike most previous works which apply a pre-determined partition to an input image, our image mosaics are composed of adaptive tiles, whose sizes are determined based on the available images in the database and the objective of maximizing resemblance to the target image. We show discernible image mosaics obtained by our method, using image collections of only moderate size. To evaluate our method, we conducted a user study to validate that the image mosaics generated present both globally and locally appropriate visual impressions to the human observers. | 17 | Geochemistry and Sr-Nd-Pb Isotopes of the Granites from the Hashitu Mo Deposit of Inner Mongolia, China: Constraints on Their Origin and Tectonic Setting显示文摘The Hashitu molybdenum deposit is located in the southern part of the Great Hinggan Range,NE China.Molybdenum mineralization is hosted by and genetically associated with monzogranite and porphyritic syenogranite.Sr-Nd-Pb isotopes of the intrusions show that the porphyritic syenogranite has initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios of 0.70418-0.70952,ε_(Nd)(t)values of 1.3 to 2.1(t=143Ma),^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of 19.191-19.573,^(207)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of 15.551-15.572,and^(208)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of38.826-39.143.The monzogranite has initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios of 0.70293-0.71305,ε_(Nd)(t)values of 1.1 to2.0(t=147 Ma),^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of 19.507-20.075,^(207)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of 15.564-15.596,and^(208)Pb/^(204)Pb ratios of 39.012-39.599.The calculated Nd model ages(T_(DM))for monzogranite and porphyritic syenogranite range from 866 to 1121 Ma and 795 to 1020 Ma,respectively.The granitic rocks in the Hashitu area have the same isotope range as granites in the southern parts of the Great Hinggan Range.The isotope composition indicates that these granites are derived from the partial melting of a juvenile lower crust originating from a depleted mantle with minor contamination by ancient continental crust.The integrating our results with published data and the Late Mesozoic regional tectonic setting of the region suggest that the granites in the Hashitu area formed in an intra-continent extensional setting,and they are related to the thinning of the thickened lithosphere and upwelling of the asthenosphere. | DING Chengwu DAI Pan BAGAS Leon NIE Fengjun JIANG Sihong WEI Junhao DING Chengzhen ZUO Pengfei ZHANG Ke | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1: | 3 |

The upper and lower crack faces are assumed to be loaded antisymmetrically by a couple of tangential point forces in opposite directions. The solution is derived through a limiting procedure from that of a penny-shaped crack. The expressions for the electroelastic field are given in terms of elementary functions. | 20 | Pulse combination and compression in hollow-core fiber for few-cycle intense mid-infrared laser generation显示文摘The generation of high-peak-power,few-cycle mid-infrared(MIR)pulses using coherent beam combination and nonlinear pulse compression techniques simultaneously is demonstrated.The two pulses,with identical pulse energy of 2.8 mJ and pulse duration of 160 fs,are coherently combined at the input end of a krypton-filled hollow-core fiber(HCF),and then the bandwidth of the combined pulse is broadened to near an optical octave due to strong phase modulations,and the temporal width is compressed into a few-cycle regime.Finally,a 2.7 mJ,22.9 fs,20 Hz laser at 4μm can be obtained,and the pulse peak power is greatly enhanced compared with that of conventional single-channel optical parametric chirped pulse-amplification systems.Furthermore,the peak power generated from this system has the prospect of further scaling up through use of more channels of coherent combination,which can pave a way to generate higher peak power ultra-intense MIR pulses for strong-field physics. | Junyu Qian Pengfei Wang Yujie Peng Yanyan Li Beijie Shao Hongpeng Su Xinlin Lv Ding Wang Yuxin Leng Ruxin Li | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,4: | 2 |
