1Impacts of Uncertainty in AVOC Emissions on the Summer RO_x Budget and Ozone Production Rate in the Three Most Rapidly-Developing Economic Growth Regions of China显示文摘High levels of uncertainty in non-methane volatile organic compound(NMVOC) emissions in China could lead to significant variation in the budget of the sum of hydroxyl(OH) and peroxy(HO2, RO2) radicals(ROx= OH + HO2+ RO2)and the ozone production rate [P(O3)], but few studies have investigated this possibility, particularly with three-dimensional air quality models. We added diagnostic variables into the WRF-Chem model to assess the impact of the uncertainty in anthropogenic NMVOC(AVOC) emissions on the ROxbudget and P(O3) in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta of China. The WRF-Chem simulations were compared with satellite and ground observations,and previous observation-based model studies. Results indicated that 68% increases(decreases) in AVOC emissions produced4%–280% increases(2%–80% decreases) in the concentrations of OH, HO2, and RO2 in the three regions, and resulted in35%–48% enhancements(26%–39% reductions) in the primary ROxproduction and ~ 65% decreases(68%–73% increases)of the P(O3) in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. For the three cities, the two largest contributors to the ROxproduction rate were the reaction of O1 D + H2 O and photolysis of HCHO, ALD2, and others; the reaction of OH + NO2(71%–85%)was the major ROxsink; and the major contributor to P(O3) was the reaction of HO2+ NO(~ 65%). 2Integrated System of Solar Cells with Hierarchical NiCo2O4 Battery-Supercapacitor Hybrid Devices for Self-Driving Light-Emitting Diodes显示文摘An integrated system has been provided with a-Si/H solar cells as energy conversion device,NiCo2O4 battery-supercapacitor hybrid(BSH)as energy storage device,and light emitting diodes(LEDs)as energy utilization device.By designing three-dimensional hierarchical NiCo2O4 arrays as faradic electrode,with capacitive electrode of active carbon(AC),BSHs were assembled with energy density of 16.6 Wh kg-1,power density of 7285 W kg-1,long-term stability with 100% retention after 15,000 cycles,and rather low self-discharge.The NiCo2O4//AC BSH was charged to 1.6 V in 1 s by solar cells and acted as reliable sources for powering LEDs.The integrated system is rational for operation,having an overall efficiency of 8.1% with storage efficiency of 74.24%.The integrated system demonstrates a stable solar power conversion,outstanding energy storage behavior,and reliable light emitting.Our study offers a precious strategy to design a self-driven integrated system for highly efficient energy utilization.Yuliang Yuan Yangdan Lu BeiEr Jia Haichao Tang Lingxiang Chen YuJia Zeng Yang Hou Qinghua Zhang Qinggang He Lei Jiao Jianxing Leng Zhizhen Ye Jianguo Lu 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3:5

4Characteristics of oral methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis isolated from dental plaque显示文摘The oral microbial community is widely regarded as a latent reservoir of antibiotic resistance genes. This study assessed the molecular epidemiology, susceptibility profile, and resistance mechanisms of 35 methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis(MRSE) strains isolated from the dental plaque of a healthy human population. Broth microdilution minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs) revealed that all the isolates were nonsusceptible to oxacillin and penicillin G. Most of them were also resistant to trimethoprim(65.7%) and erythromycin(54.3%). The resistance to multiple antibiotics was found to be largely due to the acquisition of plasmid-borne genes. The mec A and dfr A genes were found in all the isolates, mostly dfr G(80%), aac A-aph D(20%), aad D(28.6%), aph A3(22.9%), msr A(5.7%), and the erm C gene(14.3%). Classical mutational mechanisms found in these isolates were mainly efflux pumps such as qac A(31.4%), qac C(25.7%), tet K(17.1%), and nor A(8.6%). Multilocus sequence type analysis revealed that sequence type 59(ST59) strains comprised 71.43% of the typed isolates, and the e BURST algorithm clustered STs into the clonal complex 2-II(CC2-II). The staphyloccoccal cassette chromosome mec(SCCmec) type results showed that 25(71.43%) were assigned to type IV. Moreover, 88.66% of the isolates were found to harbor six or more biofilm-associated genes. The aap, atl E, embp, sdr F, and IS256 genes were detected in all 35 isolates. 10AC Line Filter Electrochemical Capacitors:Materials,Morphology,and Configuration显示文摘Recently,more and more supercapacitors(SCs)have been developed as AC line filter capacitors,which are generally named AC line filter electrochemical capacitors(FECs).Compared to traditional bulky aluminum electrolytic capacitors(AECs),FECs have higher capacity and lower space occupancy,which makes them a strong competitor.However,different from the common SCs for energy storage,it is necessary to consider the frequency response of the SCs for AC line filtering,where the contradiction between frequency response and specific capacitance is a challenge.The researchers have proposed different solutions from the perspective of materials,morphology,and configuration for this challenge.Based on the above background,in this review,we briefly introduce the principle and parameters of AC line filter electrochemical capacitors.We systematically summarize the state-of-the-art progresses of FECs and discuss their possible application and development in the future.The development of FECs can greatly promote the planarization,integration,and miniaturization of filter capacitors,and provide a new solution for the utilization of green and unstable energy.Haichao Tang Yang Tian Zhongshuai Wu Yujia Zeng Yang Wang Yang Hou Zhizhen Ye Jianguo Lu 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4:0
11Oscillation neuron based on a low-variability threshold switching device for high-performance neuromorphic computing显示文摘Low-power and low-variability artificial neuronal devices are highly desired for high-performance neuromorphic computing.In this paper,an oscillation neuron based on a low-variability Ag nanodots(NDs)threshold switching(TS)device with low operation voltage,large on/off ratio and high uniformity is presented.Measurement results indicate that this neuron demonstrates self-oscillation behavior under applied voltages as low as 1 V.The oscillation frequency increases with the applied voltage pulse amplitude and decreases with the load resistance.It can then be used to evaluate the resistive random-access memory(RRAM)synaptic weights accurately when the oscillation neuron is connected to the output of the RRAM crossbar array for neuromorphic computing.Meanwhile,simulation results show that a large RRAM crossbar array(>128×128)can be supported by our oscillation neuron owing to the high on/off ratio(>10^(8))of Ag NDs TS device.Moreover,the high uniformity of the Ag NDs TS device helps improve the distribution of the output frequency and suppress the degradation of neural network recognition accuracy(<1%).Therefore,the developed oscillation neuron based on the Ag NDs TS device shows great potential for future neuromorphic computing applications.Yujia Li Jianshi Tang Bin Gao Xinyi Li Yue Xi Wanrong Zhang He Qian Huaqiang Wu 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,6:0
12Functional characterization of Bmcap in uric acid metabolism in the silkworm显示文摘After a millennium of domestication,numerous silkworm mutants have emerged that exhibit transparent epidermis,which is caused by abnormally low levels of uric acid.We identified the Bombyx mori gene Bmcap(BMSK0003832)as the homolog of cappuccino,a subunit of the biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex-1(BLOC-1)that has been extensively characterized in human,mouse,and insect species,by analyzing the amino acid sequences of putative purine metabolism genes.Using the clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 system,we disrupted Bmcap,resulting in decreased uric acid levels in the silkworm epidermis and a translucent skin phenotype.In the Bmcap mutant,the purine metabolism,nitrogen metabolism,pyrimidine metabolism,and membrane system were altered compared to the wild type.Biogenesis of lysosome-related organelle complex genes play a role in the pigmentation and biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles(LROs)in platelets,melanocytes,and megakaryocytes.LROs exhibit unique morphologies and functions in various tissues and cells.Investigation of the Bmcap mutant will enhance our understanding of the uric acid metabolic pathway in silkworms,and this mutant offers a valuable silkworm model for LRO studies.Linmeng Tang Dehong Yang Zhiwei Liu Yaohui Wang Xu Yang Yujia Liu Dongbin Chen Zheng Tang Yongping Huang 2024Insect Science2024,31,1:0

Fenjiao( Musa Spp. ABB,Pisang Awak subgroup) has been grown by small scale famers because of its stable market price and better sugar-acid blend. However,the traditional Fenjiao variety is susceptible to banana Fusarium wilt,has a high plant height( over 5. 0 m),and farmers lack large-scale planting techniques.Based on the traditional Fenjiao variety,we selected‘Refen 1’variety through mutagenesis technology,which has low temperature resistance,suitable to marginal soils and relatively low plant height( 3. 2-4. 0 m). This paper mainly introduces the major techniques of propagation,cultivation,and post-harvest stages of‘Refen 1’banana,including the selection of explant materials,treatment,disinfection,initial culture,nursery hardening of in vitro-produced banana plants,and transplant of tissue culture seedlings. 154D-stress evolution of tight sandstone reservoir during horizontal wells injection and production: A case study of Yuan 284 block,Ordos Basin,NW China显示文摘To investigate the 4D stress change during injection and production in tight sandstone reservoirs, a multi-physical fields modeling method is proposed considering the reservoir heterogeneity, hydraulic fracture and complex injection-production system. The 4D stress evolution of tight sandstone reservoir in Yuan 284 block of Huaqing oilfield, Ordos Basin,during injection-production in horizontal well network is investigated by modeling coupled flow and geomechanics. Results show:(1) Induced by injection and production, the 3D stress increases near the injectors but decreases near the producers, and the horizontal stresses are distributed in obvious strips along their respective stress directions.(2) The horizontal stress difference is the highest at the horizontal wellbore beside injectors during injection and production, while it is the lowest in undeveloped zone between the injectors, and the orientation of maximum horizontal principal stress changes the most near the injectors, which is distributed radially.(3) The hydraulic fracture in re-fracturing well was observed to be asymmetrical in geometry and deflected as the stress changed. 16Strong synergistic effect of cationic hydrocarbon surfactant and novel nonionic tri-block short-chain fluorocarbon surfactant mixtures on surface activity, wettability and solubilization显示文摘Mixing hydrocarbon surfactants with fluorocarbon surfactants is still an important strategy to improve the economic benefits and performances of fluorocarbon surfactants and expand their range of application.Herein,we prepared a novel kind of hydrocarbon-fluorocarbon surfactant mixtures via mixing a cationic surfactant,cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB),with a tri-block nonionic short-chain fluorocarbon surfactant(F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9))in aqueous solution.The results showed that adding a small CTAB amount to F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9)(the molar fraction of CTAB in the mixture(x_(1))was 0.2)could greatly reduce its critical micelle concentrations(cmc)from 0.408mmol/L to 0.191 mmol/L.At this x_(1),the contact angle of the mixture was the minimum(57.7°)at 100 s on polytetrafluoroethylene film,which was even lower than that of F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9).Besides,CTAB/F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9) mixtures possessed better colloidal stability and solubilization ability toward hydrophobic dye(SudanІ)than F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9).The outstanding performances of binary surfactant mixtures benefited from the non-ideal mixing and strong synergistic effect evidence that CTAB/F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9) surfactant mixtures could be used in practical applications instead of individual F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9),thereby reducing the used cost of F_(9)EG_(13)F_(9).Yutang Zhou Yong Jin Yichao Shen Liangjie Shi Shuangquan Lai Yujia Tang 2021Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2021,3,1:0
17The RNase III enzyme Dicer1 is essential for larval development in Bombyx mori显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are important regulators of nearly all aspects of biological processes in eukaryotes.During the biogenesis of miRNAs,the RNase III enzyme Dicer processes double-strand precursor miRNAs into mature miRNAs and promotes the assembly of RNA-induced silencing complexes(RISCs).Dicer has been reported to participate in a wide range of physiological processes,including development and immunity,in some insect species.However,the physiological roles of Dicer in lepidopterans remain poorly understood.In this study,we investigated the function of Bombyx mori Dicer1.We first performed sequence alignment and found that the sequence of functional domains of Dicer1 are varied among Lepidoptera,Diptera,Coleoptera,Blattaria,and Orthoptera.Using a binary clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 genome editing approach,we showed that BmDicer1 mutants have arrested development from the 3rd instar into the 4th instar.RNA sequencing analysis indicated that the defects in BmDicer1 mutants are due to dysregulation of genes that encode proteins involved in metabolism,protein degradation,absorption,and renin–angiotensin pathways.Analysis using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction showed that mutation of BmDicer1 altered expression of miRNAs and their target genes.Therefore,our study demonstrates the critical roles of BmDicer1 in miRNA biogenesis and larval development in silkworm.Dongbin Chen Xu Yang Dehong Yang Yujia Liu Yaohui Wang Xingyu Luo Linmeng Tang Meiyan Yi Yongping Huang Yanqun Liu Zulian Liu 2023Insect Science2023,30,5:0
