1Driving Environment Uncertainty-Aware Motion Planning for Autonomous Vehicles显示文摘Autonomous vehicles require safe motion planning in uncertain environments,which are largely caused by surrounding vehicles.In this paper,a driving environment uncertainty-aware motion planning framework is proposed to lower the risk of position uncertainty of surrounding vehicles with considering the risk of rollover.First,a 4-degree of freedom vehicle dynamics model,and a rollover risk index are introduced.Besides,the uncertainty of surrounding vehicles’position is processed and propagated based on the Extended Kalman Filter method.Then,the uncertainty potential field is established to handle the position uncertainty of autonomous vehicles.In addition,the model predictive controller is designed as the motion planning framework which accounts for the rollover risk,the position uncertainty of the surrounding vehicles,and vehicle dynamic constraints of autonomous vehicles.Furthermore,two edge cases,the cut-in scenario,and merging scenario are designed.Finally,the safety,effectiveness,and real-time performance of the proposed motion planning framework are demonstrated by employing a hardware-in-the-loop experiment bench.Xiaolin Tang Kai Yang Hong Wang Wenhao Yu Xin Yang Teng Liu Jun Li 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,5:2

12Optimization of heat shield for single silicon crystal growth by using numerical simulation显示文摘In integrated circuit-grade single silicon Czochralski growth, the position and material of heat shield are main parameters affecting the heat exchange and crystal growth condition. By optimizing the above parameters, we attempted to increase the growth rate and crystal quality. Numerical simulation proved to verify the results before and after optimization. Through analyses of the temperature and microdefect distribution, it is found that the optimized heat shield can further increase the pulling rate and decrease the melt/crystal interface deflection, increase the average velocity of argon flow from ~2 to ~5 m·s^-1 , which is in favor of the transportation of SiO, and obtain the low defects concentration crystal and that the average temperature along the melt-free surface is 8 °C higher than before avoiding supercooled melt effectively.TENG Ran ZHOU Qigang DAI Xiaolin WU Zhiqiang XU Wenting XIAO Qinghua WU Xiao GUO Xi 2012Rare Metals2012,31,5:1
13Experimental Investigation on Flame Characterization and Temperature Profile of Single/Multiple Pool Fire in Cross Wind显示文摘An experimental study was carried out to investigate the flame characterization and temperature profile for single and multiple pool fire with the influence of cross wind.There were 13 test cases in total,categorized into circle and rectangle fuel pans,with diameter(or equivalent diameter)ranged from 50 mm to 300 mm.Kerosene was used for the fuel of pool fire.Some K-type thermocouples were arranged around the flame to monitor the flame temperature,while the flame tilt angle was measured based on the photograph of flame for different case.Firstly,it can be found that there are three phases,including preheating,steady burning and extinguishing phase,during the flame evolution.The maximum temperature near the fuel surface is~1040 K,which is higher than that of flame plume(~600 K),in the steady burning phase of circle single pool fire(D=300 mm),while the average burning rate is~1.525 g/s.In addition,the burning rates of all cases were measured and compared with the current predicted method.Typically,the flame morphology of single/multiple pool fire at different cross wind speed(ranging from 0 to 3.5 m/s)was analyzed,and it is found that the results for single pool fire agree with Thomas model and AGA model well,which are not suitable for multiple pool fire.Finally,the temperature profile of different case was measured with various wind speed.CHEN Zhen WEI Xiaolin LI Teng 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,1:1

15Comparison of Physical Properties and Microbial Indexes of Five Kinds of Commercial Corncob Beddings显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to select suitable mouse beddings from commercial corncob bedding(A-E)produced by five different manufacturers.[Methods]The physical properties and microbial indexes of the five kinds of corncob bedding were studied by means of visual inspection,dust content determination,moisture content determination,water absorption tests and microbial detection.[Results]In visual inspection,corncob bedding A was better than other four kinds.During dust content determination,corncob bedding D was higher than other 4 kinds(1.83%±0.2983%,P<0.05).In terms of moisture content,the moisture contents of the five kinds of corncob bedding were less than or equal to 10%.In the water absorption test,the water absorption capacities of the five kinds of bedding before autoclaving were all greater than 150%,and the water absorption of corncob bedding D after autoclaving was better than other four kinds(171.0±5.3,P<0.05).During microbial detection,the total number of colonies of corncob bedding B before autoclaving was higher than those of other four types(1.42×10^(5)±4.3×10^(4),P<0.05).The five kinds of commercial corncob bedding have different physical parameters and microbial conditions,and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.When purchasing and selecting corncob bedding,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the needs of daily feeding work,and choose bedding according to the effects on the health and welfare of experimental animals.[Conclusions]This study provides a reference for selecting suitable corncob bedding for mouse.Dong WU Ling en LI Yun TENG Ning LI Yuanyuan YANG Xiaofeng CHEN Xiaolin LI Huixin YANG 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,3:0
16Performance Comparisons of Five Different SPF Mouse Transport Containers显示文摘[Objectives]This study aimed at providing gist for selecting qualified transport containers by comparing the performance of common SPF mouse transport containers at home and abroad,and laying a foundation for subsequent improvement of transport containers.[Methods]In this study,5 different transport containers were selected,and their microbial filtration performance,ventilation,sterilization method and flux,and other related design and construction were analyzed.[Results]The results showed all 5 SPF mouse transport containers can provide enough air for the survival of mouse and protect them from bacterial infections.Transport container B and D are superior to others on one-time sterilization flux and deformation degree after autoclaving.Furthermore,taking into account the related design and construction of these transport containers,such as viewing window and carrying handle,the result of comprehensive comparison is that the transport container D>A>E>C>B.[Conclusions]In summary,the 5 SPF transport containers tested in this study can all satisfy the basic demand of SPF mouse transportation,but each transport container has its own advantages and disadvantages on storage space,deformation degree after autoclaving and other aspects.Thus,SPF mouse transport containers should be selected by different demand.Yuanyuan YANG Dong WU Xiaolin LI Ning LI Yun Teng Ling’en LI 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,2:0
17Combustion Characteristic and Mechanism of a Mixture Working Fluid C_(3)H_(8)/CO_(2)显示文摘In the CO_(2)transcritical power cycle,conventional cooling water can hardly condense subcritical CO_(2)because its critical temperature is as low as 30.98°C.In order to avoid this condensing problem,CO_(2)-based mixtures have been proposed as working fluids for transcritical power cycle.They can raise the critical temperature by mixing a little C_(3)H_(8)as the secondary component to CO_(2).However,the flammability of the mixture may limit its application.This article investigated laminar flame speed of C_(3)H_(8)/CO_(2)which represents the mixture’s combustion characteristic by a so-called heat flux method and studied the inhibition mechanism of CO_(2)on the combustion based on the Premixed Laminar Flame-Speed Calculation reactor of Chemkin-Pro.The experimental results showed that the laminar flame speed shows a peak value with changing the equivalence ratio and accelerates with raising the mole fraction of the organic gas.Additionally,a slight upwards trend was observed for the corresponding equivalence ratio of the peaks.The flammable range for the equivalence ratio extended with the mole fraction of C_(3)H_(8)increasing.With the mole fraction of C_(3)H_(8)of 0.15,the maximum laminar flame speed was 12.8 cm/s,31.7%of that of the pure C_(3)H_(8).The flammable range was from 0.41 to 1.33,decreasing by 23.3%compared with that of C_(3)H_(8).A flammable critical mixing ratio was also found as 0.08/0.92 for C_(3)H_(8)/CO_(2)at the normal condition.By simulating,it was found that the most key free radical and elementary reaction which determine the inhibition of CO_(2)on the combustion are OH and H+O_(2)=O+OH,respectively.SHI Weixiu PAN Lisheng JIN Suyi DONG Yuehua LI Teng ZHAO Jing WEI Xiaolin 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,5:0
18Study on peak overpressure and flame propagation speed of gas deflagration in the tube with obstacles显示文摘The on-way peak overpressure and flame propagation speed of gas deflagration in the tube with obstacles are important data for process safety. Based on carbon monoxide deflagration experiments, the paper presents a multi-zone integration model for calculation of on-way peak overpressure, in which the tube with obstacles is considered as a series of venting explosion enclosures which link each others. The analysis of experimental data indicates that the on-way peak overpressure of gas deflagration can be correlated as an empirical formula with equivalence ratio of carbon monoxide oxidation, expansion ratio, flame path length, etc., and that the on-way peak overpressure exhibits a linear relationship with turbulence factor and flame propagation speed. 19Remediation of preservative ethylparaben in water using natural sphalerite:Kinetics and mechanisms显示文摘As a typical class of emerging organic contaminants(EOCs), the environmental transformation and abatement of preservative parabens have raised certain environmental concerns. However, the remediation of parabens-contaminated water using natural matrixes(such as, naturally abundant minerals) is not reported extensively in literature. In this study, the transformation kinetics and the mechanism of ethylparaben using natural sphalerite(NS) were investigated. The results show that around 63% of ethylparaben could be absorbed onto NS within 38 hr, whereas the maximum adsorption capacity was 0.45 mg/g under room temperature. High temperature could improve the adsorption performance of ethylparaben using NS. In particular, for the temperature of 313 K, the adsorption turned spontaneous. The well-fitted adsorption kinetics indicated that both the surface adsorption and intra-particle diffusion contribute to the overall adsorption process. The monolayer adsorption on the surface of NS was primarily responsible for the elimination of ethylparaben. The adsorption mechanism showed that hydrophobic partitioning into organic matter could largely govern the adsorption process, rather than the Zn S that was the main component of NS. Furthermore, the ethylparaben adsorbed on the surface of NS was stable, as only less than 2% was desorbed and photochemically degraded under irradiation of simulated sunlight for 5 days. 20Altered fear engram encoding underlying conditioned versus unconditioned stimulus initiated memory updating显示文摘OBJECTIVE It′s known that post-retrieval extinction but not extinction alone could erase fear memory. However, whether the coding pattern of original fear engrams is remodeled or inhibited remains largely unclear. Here we try to investigate whether the coding pattern of memory engrams is altered during post-retrieval extinction induced memory updating. METHODS To answer the question, by using activity-dependent neuronal-tagging technology, neuronal tracing technique combined with optogenetic manipulation and in vivo calcium imaging, we identified the fear and extinction cells in PrL and BLA and investigated the dynamic encoding of memory engram ensembles in the PrL and BLA during CS versus US initiated memory updating.RESULTS We found increased reactivation of engram cells in the prelimbic cortex and basolateral amygdala during memory updating. Moreover, conditioned stimulus and unconditioned stimulu sinitiated memory updating depend on the engram cells reactivation in the prelimbic cortex or basolateral amygdala respectively. Finally,we found memory updating causes increased overlapping between fear and extinction cells and the original fear engrams encoding was altered during memory updating.
