Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime显示文摘Achieving strong coupling between plasmonic oscillators can significantly modulate their intrinsic optical properties. Here,we report the direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer from an Au grating array to an MoS_(2) monolayer in the strong coupling regime between localized surface plasmons(LSPs)and surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs).By means of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy, the measured hot electron transfer time is approximately 40 fs with a maximum external quantum yield of 1.65%.Our results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers, where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an‘energy recycle bin’to reuse the radiative energy of LSPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.Coherent energy exchange between plasmonic modes in the strong coupling regime can further enhance the vertical electric field and promote the transfer of hot electrons between the Au grating and the MoS_(2) monolayer. Our proposed plasmonic strong coupling configuration overcomes the challenge associated with utilizing hot carriers and is instructive in terms of improving the performance of plasmonic opto-electronic devices. | Hangyong Shan Ying Yu Xingli Wang Yang Luo Shuai Zu Bowen Du Tianyang Han Bowen Li Yu Li Jiarui Wu Feng Lin Kebin Shi Beng Kang Tay Zheng Liu Xing Zhu Zheyu Fang | 2019 | Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1: | 7
Label-free fiber nanograting sensor for real-time in situ early monitoring of cellular apoptosis显示文摘The achievement of functional nanomodules for subcellular label-free measurement has long been pursued in order to fully understand cellular functions. Here,a compact label-free nanosensor based on a fiber taper and zinc oxide nanogratings is designed and applied for the early monitoring of apoptosis in individual living cells.Because of its nanoscale dimensions, mechanical flexibility, and minimal cytotoxicity to cells, the sensing module can be loaded in cells for long term in situ tracking with high sensitivity.A gradual increase in the nuclear refractive index during the apoptosis process is observed, revealing the increase in molecular density and the decrease in cell volume. The strategy used in our study not only contributes to the understanding of internal environmental variations during cellular apoptosis but also provides a new platform for nonfluorescent fiber devices for investigation of cellular events and understanding fundamental cell biochemical engineering. | Danran Li Nina Wang Tianyang Zhang Guangxing Wu Yifeng Xiong Qianqian Du Yunfei Tian Weiwei Zhao Jiandong Ye Shulin Gu Yanqing Lu Dechen Jiang Fei Xu | 2022 | Advanced Photonics2022,4,1: | 5

The studies of PLGA nanoparticles loading atorvastatin calcium for oral administration in vitro and in vivo显示文摘A biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) loading atorvastatin calcium(AC) nanoparticles(AC-PLGA-NPs) were prepared by probe ultrasonication and evaporation method aiming at improving the oral bioavailability of AC. The effects of experimental parameters, including stabilizer species, stabilizer concentration and pH of aqueous phase, on particle size were also evaluated. The resultant nanoparticles were in spherical shape with an average diameter of 174.7 nm and a narrow particle size distribution. And the drug loading and encapsulation efficiency were about 8% and 71%, respectively. The particle size and polydispersion were almost unchanged in 10 days. The release curves of AC-PLGA-NPs in vitro displaying sustained release characteristics indicated that its release mechanisms were matrix erosion and diffusion. The pharmacokinetic study in vivo revealed that the Cmax and AUC0-∞ of AC-PLGA-NPs in rats were nearly 3.7-fold and 4.7-fold higher than that of pure atorvastatin calcium suspension. Our results demonstrated that the delivery of AC-PLGANPs could be a promising approach for the oral delivery of AC for enhanced bioavailability. | Zhenbao Li Wenhui Tao Dong Zhang Chunnuan Wu Binbin Song Shang Wang Tianyang Wang Mingming Hu Xiaohong Liu Yongjun Wang Yinghua Sun Jin Sun | 2017 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2017,12,3: | 1
Multi-objective Optimal Operation of Centralized Battery Swap Charging System with Photovoltaic显示文摘Electric vehicles(EVs)are widely deployed throughout the world, and photovoltaic(PV)charging stations have emerged for satisfying the charging demands of EV users. This paper proposes a multi-objective optimal operation method for the centralized battery swap charging system(CBSCS),in order to enhance the economic efficiency while reducing its adverse effects on power grid. The proposed method involves a multi-objective optimization scheduling model, which minimizes the total operation cost and smoothes load fluctuations, simultaneously.Afterwards,we modify a recently proposed multi-objective optimization algorithm of non-sorting genetic algorithm III(NSGA-III)for solving this scheduling problem. Finally, simulation studies verify the effectiveness of the proposed multi-objective operation method. | Yuanzheng Li Yihan Cai Tianyang Zhao Yun Liu Jian Wang Lei Wu Yong Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,1: | 1
WO_(3)@Fe_(2)O_(3) Core-Shell Heterojunction Photoanodes for Efficient Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting显示文摘Photoelectrochemical(PEC) hydrogen production from water splitting is a green technology to convert solar energy into renewable hydrogen fuel. The construction of host/guest architecture in semiconductor photoanodes has been proven to be an effective strategy to improve solar-to-fuel conversion efficiency. In this study, WO_(3)@Fe_(2)O_(3) core-shell nanoarray heterojunction photoanodes are synthesized from the in-situ decomposition of WO_(3)@Prussian blue(WO_(3)@PB) and then used as host/guest photoanodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting, during which Fe_(2)O_(3) serves as guest material to absorb visible solar light and WO_(3) can act as host scaffolds to collect electrons at the contact. The prepared WO_(3)@Fe_(2)O_(3) shows the enhanced photocurrent density of 1.26 m A cm^(-2)(under visible light) at 1.23 V. vs RHE and a superior IPEC of 24.4% at 350 nm, which is higher than that of WO_(3)@PB and pure WO_(3)(0.43 m A/cm^(-2) and 16.3%, 0.18 m A/cm^(-2) and 11.5%) respectively, owing to the efficient light-harvesting from Fe_(2)O_(3) and the enhanced electron-hole pairs separation from the formation of type-Ⅱ heterojunctions, and the direct and ordered charge transport channels from the one-dimensional(1D) WO_(3) nanoarray nanostructures. Therefore, this work provides an alternative insight into the construction of sustainable and cost-effective photoanodes to enhance the efficiency of the solar-driven water splitting. | Guobing Mao Heng Wu Tianyang Qiu Dingjie Bao Longjie Lai Wenguang Tu Qi Liu | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,8: | 0
Color myth:anthocyanins reactions and enological approaches achieving their stabilization in the aging process of red wine显示文摘Color is a crucial sensory indicator of wine quality. However, changes in anthocyanin concentration and profile occur during wine aging, resulting in noticeable reductions in chroma and shifts in hue from purple to brick red. This is because monomeric anthocyanins degrade and derivative anthocyanins form. The rate of color changes can vary depending on complex factors, such as the anthocyanin content of the must, oenological technology, and environmental conditions, which makes the management of red wine color evolution challenging. To address this issue, appropriate winemaking techniques are required to achieve an elegant wine color. This review summarizes the mechanisms related to anthocyanin stability, including glycosylation, acetylation, and derivatization. The review also discusses factors influencing red wine color fading for specific grape varieties and wine appellations, offering time-and cost-efficient techniques to accelerate anthocyanin derivatization and color stabilization. | Siqi Cheng Tianyang Wu Jie Gao Xiaoyu Han Weidong Huang Yilin You Jicheng Zhan | 2023 | Food Innovation and Advances2023,2,4: | 0

Cretaceous integrative stratigraphy, biotas, and paleogeographical evolution of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas显示文摘The Cretaceous Period is a vital time interval in deciphering the evolutionary history of the Neo-Tethys Ocean and the convergence of different plates and blocks across the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.A detailed stratigraphic framework and paleogeographic patterns are the basis for understanding the evolution of the Neo-Tethys Ocean and the formation of the QinghaiTibetan Plateau. Here, the Cretaceous stratigraphy, biota, paleogeography, and major geological events in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau are analyzed to establish an integrative stratigraphic framework, reconstruct the paleogeography during the Cretaceous Period, and decode the history of the major geological events. The Cretaceous rocks of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding area are predominantly marine deposits, with a small amount of interbedded marine-terrestrial and terrestrial conponents. The Indus-Yarlung Tsangpo Suture Zone was responsible for the deposition of deep marine sediments dominated by ophiolite suites and radiolarian silicalite. To the south, the Tethys Himalayas and Indus Basin received marine sediments of varying depths and lithology;to the north, the Xigaze and Ladakh forearc basins are also filled with marine sediments. The Lhasa Block,Karakorum Block, western Tarim Basin, and West Burma block consist of shallow marine, interbedded marine-terrestrial,and terrestrial sediments. The Qiangtang Basin and other areas are dominated by terrestrial sedimentation. The Cretaceous strata of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas are widely distributed and diversified, with abundant foraminifera, calcareous nannofossils, radiolarians, ammonites, bivalves, and palynomorphs. On the basis of integrated lithostratigraphic, biostratigraphic, geochronologic, and chemostratigraphic analyses,we proposed herein a comprehensive stratigraphic framework for the Cretaceous Period of the eastern Neo-Tethys.By analyzing the Cretaceous biota of different biogeographic zones from eastern Neo-Tethys and its surrounding areas,we reconstructed the paleobiogeography of different periods of eastern NeoTethys. The Cretaceous paleogeographic evolution of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas can be divided into three phases:(1)gradual breakup of the Indian Plate from the Australia-Antarctica continent and the early collision phase of the Lhasa-Qiangtang blocks(145-125 Ma);(2)northward drift of the Indian Plate and the collision phase of the Lhasa-Qiangtang blocks(125-100 Ma);(3)rapid northward drift of the Indian Plate, formation of the Tarim-Tajik-Karakorum Bay,and early uplift of the Gangdise Mountains(100-66 Ma).The Indus-Tethys Himalayan biota underwent a transition from the cold-water type in the high latitudes of the southern hemisphere to the warm-water type near the equator from the Early Cretaceous to the MidCretaceous. The biodiversity and abundance of the eastern Neo-Tethys Ocean increased gradually in the Early Cretaceous, peaking in the Mid-Cretaceous,and decreased sharply during the late Late Cretaceous(late Maastrichtian).Along with the northward drift of the Indian Plate and subduction of the Neo-Tethys,the eastern Neo-Tethys and its surrounding areas experienced a series of major geological events, including the formation of the large igneous province, oceanic anoxia events, and mass extinction, etc. | Dangpeng XI Guobiao LI Shijun JIANG Xin RAO Tian JIANG Tianyang WANG Zuohuan QIN Yasu WANG Jianzhong JIA Muhammad KAMRAN Zhongye SHI Yuyang WU Panxi WANG Lixin SUN Qinggao ZENG Xiaoqiao WAN | 2024 | Science China Earth Sciences2024,67,4: | 0
