2Insights into Enhanced Capacitive Behavior of Carbon Cathode for Lithium Ion Capacitors: The Coupling of Pore Size and Graphitization Engineering显示文摘The lack of methods to modulate intrinsic textures of carbon cathode has seriously hindered the revelation of in-depth relationship between inherent natures and capacitive behaviors,limiting the advancement of lithium ion capacitors(LICs).Here,an orientateddesigned pore size distribution(range from 0.5 to 200 nm)and graphitization engineering strategy of carbon materials through regulating molar ratios of Zn/Co ions has been proposed,which provides an effective platform to deeply evaluate the capacitive behaviors of carbon cathode.Significantly,after the systematical analysis cooperating with experimental result and density functional theory calculation,it is uncovered that the size of solvated PF6-ion is about 1.5 nm.Moreover,the capacitive behaviors of carbon cathode could be enhanced attributed to the controlled pore size of 1.5-3 nm.Triggered with synergistic effect of graphitization and appropriate pore size distribution,optimized carbon cathode(Zn90Co10-APC)displays excellent capacitive performances with a reversible specific capacity of^50 mAh g-1at a current density of 5 A g-1.Furthermore,the assembly pre-lithiated graphite(PLG)//Zn90Co10-APC LIC could deliver a large energy density of 108 Wh kg-1 and a high power density of 150,000 W kg-1 as well as excellent long-term ability with 10,000 cycles.This elaborate work might shed light on the intensive understanding of the improved capacitive behavior in LiPF6 electrolyte and provide a feasible principle for elaborate fabrication of carbon cathodes for LIC systems.Kangyu Zou Peng Cai Baowei Wang Cheng Liu Jiayang Li Tianyun Qiu Guoqiang Zou Hongshuai Hou Xiaobo Ji 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9:4
3Mass movements in small canyons in the northeast of Baiyun deepwater area, north of the South China Sea显示文摘The process of mass movements and their consequent turbidity currents in large submarine canyons has been widely reported, however, little attention was paid to that in small canyons. In this paper, we document mass movements in small submarine canyons in the northeast of Baiyun deepwater area, north of the South China Sea(SCS), and their strong effects on the evolution of the canyons based on geophysical data. Submarine canyons in the study area arrange closely below the shelf break zone which was at the depth of –500 m. Within submarine canyons, seabed surface was covered with amounts of failure scars resulted from past small-sized landslides. A complex process of mass transportation in the canyons is indicated by three directions of mass movements.Recent mass movement deposits in the canyons exhibit translucent reflections or parallel reflections which represent the brittle deformation and the plastic deformation, respectively. The area of most landslides in the canyons is less than 3 km2. The trigger mechanisms for mass movements in the study area are gravitational overloading, slope angle and weak properties of soil. Geophysical data indicate that the genesis of submarine canyons is the erosion of mass movements and consequent turbidity currents. The significant effects of mass movements on canyon are incision and sediment transportation at the erosion phases and fillings supply at the fill phases. 7An efficient time-integration method for nonlinear dynamic analysis of solids and structures显示文摘This paper presents an efficient time-integration method for obtaining reliable solutions to the second-order nonlinear dynamic problems in structural engineering. This method employs both the backward-acceleration differentiation formula and the trapezoidal rule, resulting in a self-starting, single step, second-order accurate algorithm. With the same computational effort as the trapezoidal rule, the proposed method remains stable in large deformation and long time range solutions even when the trapezoidal rule fails. Meanwhile, the proposed method has the following characteristics: (1) it is applicable to linear as well as general nonlinear analyses; (2) it does not involve additional variables (e.g. Lagrange multipliers) and artificial parameters; (3) it is a single-solver algorithm at the discrete time points with symmetric effective stiffness matrix and effective load vectors; and (4) it is easy to implement in an existing computational software. 9Real-time 3-D space numerical shake prediction for earthquake early warning显示文摘In earthquake early warning systems, real-time shake prediction through wave propagation simulation is a promising approach. Compared with traditional methods, it does not suffer from the inaccurate estimation of source parameters. For computation efficiency, wave direction is assumed to propagate on the 2-D surface of the earth in these methods. In fact, since the seismic wave propagates in the 3-D sphere of the earth, the 2-D space modeling of wave direction results in inaccurate wave estimation. In this paper, we propose a 3-D space numerical shake prediction method, which simulates the wave propagation in3-D space using radiative transfer theory, and incorporate data assimilation technique to estimate the distribution of wave energy. 2011 Tohoku earthquake is studied as an example to show the validity of the proposed model. 2-D space model and 3-D space model are compared in this article, and the prediction results show that numerical shake prediction based on 3-D space model can estimate the real-time ground motion precisely, and overprediction is alleviated when using 3-D space model.Tianyun Wang Xing Jin Yandan Huang Yongxiang Wei 2017Earthquake Science2017,30,5:2
10Cloning and expressional analyses of a cinnamoyl CoA reductase cDNA from rice seedlings显示文摘Cinnamoyl CoA reductase (CCR: EC 1.2.1.44), the entry-point enzyme of the lignin specific biosynthetic pathway, catalyzes the conversion of cinnamoyl CoA esters to their corresponding cinnamaldehydes. Multiple sequence alignment showed that the deduced polypeptide shared 70% similarity and 30% sequence identity at the amino acid level with defined CCR genes from other plant species and they all contain the common signature sequences thought to be the catalytic site as well as the putative NADP binding domain. Using a conserved OsCCR cDNA fragment as the probe for library screening, we isolated the genomic DNA that covered the whole coding region of OsCCR with total length of 3045 bp including 4 introns and 5 exons. The open reading frame for our OsCCR gene contains 337 amino acids. Northern blot indicated that OsCCR was expressed in different organs with the highest level found in stems. In situ hybridization results showed that OsCCR mRNA was localized mainly along the vascular bundles in stems and leaves, and also in lateral roots that was differentiating from the tillering node. We conclude that the vascular-localized expression of OsCCR gene may suggest its possible involvement in lignin biosynthesis. 11Statistical Analysis of Regularity of Pesticide Residues in Vegetables Produced in Inner Mongoli显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to study regularity of pesticide residues in vegetables produced in Inner Mongolia.[Method]Mathematical statistic analysis was carried out on 6 800 samples of veggies,fruits,leguminous vegetables,nuts and seeds produced in Inner Mongolia.[Result]The dominated vegetables in Inner Mongolia were green leafy vegetables,solanaceous vegetables and melon vegetables,and their yields accounted for 70%of the total vegetables production.Since 2003,with the rapid increase of detected vegetable numbers,the status of vegetable quality safety had entered into a new stage of sustainable steady after a rapid decline or periodic fluctuation,and the differences in safety levels were obvious,of which the range of exceeding standard rate of pesticide residues in solanaceous vegetables,melon vegetables and leguminous vegetables(about 55%of the total vegetables)was under 2%,with average values of 1.1%,1.6%and 3.1%,respectively.They belonged to stable type.The exceeding standard rate of pesticide residues in green leafy vegetables and Chinese cabbage group(about 30%of total vegetables)presented a decreasing trend year by year,wondering in the range of 7%-10%.They belonged to main risk type.The time period of exceeding standard of pesticide residues in root vegetables and cole vegetables was under predictable,and its exceeding standard rate in some years was over 5%(amplitude variation is over 15percentage points).They belonged to random risk type.The kinds of pesticides,which exceeding standard rate in vegetables were relatively intensive,presented variance in different vegetable species.70%of the pesticides belonged to intermittent over-limits and the probability was below 5%.About 20%tradition pesticides often exceeded standard and their probabilities were over 30%.The exceeding standard of organophosphorus and carbamates pesticides in vegetables presented a decreasing tend,while the risk of some new pesticides containing nitrogen element and high effective pyrethroids showed an increasing tendency.[Conclusion]The paper provided decision making services for agricultural management departments.Fujin ZHANG Dekun HOU Jiang HE Tianyun GAO Hong LUO Songyan LANG Xinxin ZHANG Yiping YAO 2013Agricultural Science & Technology2013,14,10:2
12Effect of carboxylic acid groups on the supercapacitive performance of functional carbon frameworks derived from bacterial cellulose显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D) carbonaceous materials derived from bacterial cellulose(BC) has been introduced as electrode for supercapacitors in recent. Here, we report a simple strategy for the synthesis of functional carbon frameworks through 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpilperidine 1-oxyl radical(TEMPO)-mediated oxidation of bacterial cellulose(BC) followed by carbonization. TEMPO-mediated oxidation can efficiently convert the hydroxyls on the surface of BC to carboxylate groups to improve electrochemical activity. Because of its high porosity, good hydrophilicity, rich oxygen groups, and continuous ion transport in-between sheet-like porous network, the TEMPO-oxidized BC delivers a much higher gravimetric capacitance(137.3 F/g) at low annealing temperature of 500℃ than that of pyrolysis BC(31 F/g) at the same annealing temperature. 16Dynamic visual simulation of marine vector field based on LIC——a case study of surface wave field in typhoon condition显示文摘Line integral convolution(LIC)is a useful visualization technique for a vector field.However,the output image produced by LIC has many problems in a marine vector field.We focus on the visual quality improvement when LIC is applied in the ocean steady and unsteady flow field in the following aspects.When a white noise is used as the input in a steady flow field,interpolation is used to turn the discrete white noise into continuous white noise to solve the problem of discontinuity.The'cross'high-pass filtering is used to enhance the textures of streamlines to be more concentrated and continuity strengthened for each streamline.When a sparse noise is used as the input in a steady flow field,we change the directions of background sparse noise according to the directions of vector field to make the streamlines clearer and brighter.In addition,we provide a random initial phase for every streamline to avoid the pulsation effect during animation.The velocities of vector field are encoded in the speed of the same length streamlines so that the running speed of streamlines can express flow rate.Meanwhile,to solve the problem of obvious boundaries when stitching image,we change the streamline tracking constraints.When a white noise is used as an input in an unsteady flow field,double value scattering is used to enhance the contrast of streamlines;moreover,the'cross'high-pass filtering is also adopt instead of two-dimensional high-pass filtering.Finally,we apply the above methods to a case of the surface wave field in typhoon condition.Our experimental results show that applying the methods can generate high-quality wave images and animations.Therefore,it is helpful to understand and study waves in typhoon condition to avoid the potential harm of the waves to people's lives and property.LIU Zhendong LIU Haixing SU Tianyun JIA Zhen LI Xinfang ZHOU Lin SONG Zhuanling 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,6:1

19Hollow carbon microbox from acetylacetone as anode material for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Carbon-based materials have attracted much interest as one of the promising anodes for sodium-ion batteries. However, low utilization of electrolyte and slow ion-transfer rate during electrochemical process hinder the further application of traditional bulk carbon. In order to enhance the diffusion kinetics and maintain the reversibility, hierarchical hollow carbon microbox was successfully prepared through a tunable bottom-up self-template routine for sodium-ion batteries. During annealing process, the morphology construction and activation happened synchronously. Based on that, a range of cross-linked porous nanosheet and hollow microbox were attained by manipulating reactant condition. The generation of texture and physical property are analyzed and are established linkages related to the electrochemical behavior. As results depicted in kinetic exploration and simulation based on cyclic voltammetry, the surfacecontrolled electrochemical behavior gradually turns to be the diffusion-controlled behavior as the hollow microbox evolves to porous nanosheet. The probable reason is that the rational microstructure/texture design leads to the accelerated diffusion kinetic procedure and the reduced concentration difference polarization. Sodium storage mechanism was deduced as reversible binding of Na-ions with local defects,including vacancies on sp2 graphitic layers, at the edges of flakes and other structural defects instead of intercalation. Bestowed by the morphology design, the broad pore width distribution, abundant defects/active sites and surface functionality, hollow microbox electrode delivers great electrochemical performances.
